Sì lo consiglio. Una avventura grafica old style. Rivolta non solo ai nostalgici, ma anche a chi abbia voglia di cimentarsi in un genere come questo per la prima volta. Un'avventura davvero ben scritta, piena di umorismo in stile LucasArt. Graficamente molto gradevole se apprezzate la grafica pixellosa, tipica dei retrogame anni 90.

I'm happy to see that this genre is not forgotten. Thimbleweed park is like a love letter to the adventure games of the past. Filled with funny jokes, 4th wall breaks, a cast of amusing characters, but most importantly a story that keep you engaged until the last minute.
The puzzles are fun to solve and feel rewarding once you complete them.
Extra kudos for having the game fully voice-acted, it makes the game feel more alive.

Ho giocato in modalità difficile e ho impiegato circa 23 ore per finire il gioco.
Un aiuto richiesto (mangiandomi le mani) per una cosa nell'hotel che avevo fatto mille volte, senza comprenderne gli effetti.
Storia molto curata e sebbene di stampo comico, risulta triste e distopica, come una puntata di Black Mirror.
Per me che sono un giocatore incallito dei punta e clicca, alcuni enigmi sono risultati impegnativi, ma sempre molto logici, senza casualità o incoerenze.
Mi sono bloccato qualche volta, ma trovare poi la soluzione (che a volte è arrivata mentre non stavo giocando) è stato gratificante.
Nel complesso si tratta di un eccellente lavoro.

I've played it to the end, really great fun game, a wonderful homage to the point of click adventures of old. I really enjoyed the multiple characters, and the puzzles make you think without being completely unintuitive (like some older adventure games could be!). The in game hint system was great for pointing me in the right direction, which was usually when I'd totally missed or forgotten something. I enjoyed the overall story and the weird vibes of the strange town, and had lots of laughs.

yeah the ending sucks and is a large disservice to the story that precedes it. it's no lucasarts p&c. but for what it is, a point and click adventure game with 5 playable characters, it's fun. i wish there was more to do with the ghost character but that's largely to do with how late in the game he is introduced. the first half is better than the second. i got puzzle fatigue in the second half and was having to travel back to town to call the hint hotline frequently because there were so many characters it was hard to keep the current objective straight (and i was less invested as the story went on). the hint hotline i really like because it doesn't require you to look stuff up. reminds me of uhs hints. but ramone the clown or whatever was a little funny, i don't get the people who say he wasn't funny but different strokes. anyways, if you like modern p&c with retro style it's worth a play and not overpriced, i got more playtime than i did with a lot of similarly priced games.

Esse jogo é muito espirituoso e me fez lembrar dos outros adventure games que já joguei — até porque é do criador de Maniac Mansion. A ideia de ter um número para receber dicas é muito boa e resolve o problema de ficar preso por não ter prestado atenção em alguma coisa. Gosto muito do humor bobo e alegre que a história tem.

Uma coisa de que eu não gostei foi a dica final de como finalizar o jogo. [Spoiler] Foi uma péssima ideia aquela de ter que ver o trailer do Kickstarter para saber o que fazer; ou seja, se o vídeo sumir, não haverá como ver o final do jogo.

Das Spiel hat mir wirklich sehr viel Spaß bereitet! Point and Click gehört seit meiner Kindheit zu meinen absolut liebsten Spielegenres und Thimbleweed Park hat mich wieder dahin zurückversetzt! Der Humor, die Anspielungen & Easter Eggs auf andere Spiele des Genres waren super. Mir hat auch sehr gut gefallen, dass man mehrere spielbare Charaktere hatte die alle ihre eigene kleine Story mitgebracht haben. Bei den Rätseln musste man die grauen Zellen manchmal schon gut anstrengen, aber sie waren nicht unlösbar oder frustrierend.

I've been wanting to play this game for years now and finally got it on a sale. It was a fun play! This is a great adventure game if you like classic point and click titles. It has a captivating story, good humor, and you get to play as multiple characters throughout the game. You also get to collect dust and other pointless items (I think this is the creator's way at poking fun at some adventure gamers). Get a copy today for hours of adventure! This is definitely one of my favorite modern adventure games.

I replay this one every few years. It's just so good! The only thing I don't like is that the gameplay has some annoying retro-style mechanics (unskippable dialogue, having to always select the action etc) that weren't really necessary to incorporate. But the writing and the narrative have really held up over time.

Nostalgia is a hell of a thing. After all, most of us have a tendency to look at the past through rose-tinted glasses, yearning for a time when things were simpler a made more sense (or, more likely, when we still didn't quite realize how messed up everything is).

[b]Thimbleweed Park[/b] is proof positive of how powerful nostalgia can be. Helmed by none other than adventure game luminaries Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, the Kickstarter for this love letter to classic LucasArts adventures was funded in under a week. The result is something that, for all intents and purposes, looks like a piece of lost media from the late 80s that's only just been found and shared for our enjoyment.

In this point-and-click adventure, your goal is simple - a man was murdered in the small town of Thimbleweed Park, and our cast of 5 playable characters is working to find out who did it and why. This neo-noir story is presented as a faithful homage to 80s and 90s LucasArts titles, complete with pixel graphics, verb commands, and brain-teasing puzzles.

Of course, the funny thing about nostalgia is that the past we're yearning for is never quite as rosy as we remember it. This is also clear in Thimbleweed Park, both in terms of gameplay and storytelling.

While the initial story setup is a murder mystery, the tone almost immediately slides into absurdist and slapstick humor. This wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, had there been more of a balance between the humor and the serious stuff, but the game is so loaded with zany references and in-jokes that the whole murder plot gets kinda drowned out.

As for the gameplay, if you ever start wondering why verb commands in adventure games were pretty much phased out in the 90s, look no further than Thimbleweed Park. This is especially noticeable in scenes filled with interactive elements, where you're never quite sure what you should push, pull, open, look at, or use. The puzzles follow the same antiquated approach, leaning far more heavily towards "wash your can to summon rain" than anything requiring the use of logic or lateral thinking.

Now, I have to declare my personal bias here: I was never much of a point-and-click adventure fan. Out of the entire LucasArts oeuvre, I've only ever played Grim Fandango, but I liked it well enough that I still remember it fondly. However, for me, Thimbleweed Park sits at least a couple of rungs below Grim Fandango, both in its approach to storytelling and the insistence on outdated gameplay mechanics.

I can't really hold that against Thimbleweed Park, because I realize that's the whole point. Gilbert and Winnick set out to create a classic adventure game for modern systems, and if that's your jam, then this should be right up your alley. As for me, I never got that into adventures, let alone the classic ones, so I can really take it or leave it.

tl;dr If you like the visuals and feel of old point&click games like Day of the Tentcle or Maniac Mansion go for it, but be aware of an unsatisfying ending.

Oh what a dissapointment! The game starts of so well with all the charm and beauty of the point&click games of my childhood. Obviously, nostalgia played its part, but the story was so intriguing with its jokes and similarities to X-files and Twin Peaks. The puzzles where overall great and the humor, though sometimes a little predictable, created a nice goofy atmosphere which didn't hurt the mystery at all. It was so close to a 10/10 but in the last hour the game seemingly changes its mind and instead of ending with ANY kind of resolution it rather spits in the players face and decides to deliver a lame excuse of an ending.

Невероятно классный квест! Полный восторг до последнего пикселя. Говорю как ценитель разработчиков типа Amanita, Mateusz Skutnik, Daedalic и тд. Очень удивился, что не встретил его раньше. Если описывать подробно, то трудно обойтись без спойлеров. Поэтому напишу очень обобщенно:

1. Он большой. Прям большой и многослойный. Я провел в игре 60 часов!
2. Он логичный и очень продуманный. Не надо перебирать комбинации и совмещать предметы наугад.
3. Отличное управление. Есть все, что нужно: подсветка активных объектов, быстрая ходьба, применение действия по умолчанию. Но почему-то инструкции в игре нет. Действие по умолчанию — ПКМ. Пропустить реплику — нажать СКМ. Пауза — Space. Подсветка объектов — Tab.
4. Шикарная прорисовка. Вроде пиксельный стиль, но с очень большим вниманием (и любовью) к деталям и анимации.
5. Сюжет. Не оригинальный, но подход к нему использован с умением.
6. Юмор. Не главное в игре, но он есть. Не прям искрометный, но и не плоский. Очень комфортный уровень стёба.

В общем, квест настолько продуманный, сбалансированный и проработанный, что одним махом вошел в мой топ-5. А я прошел их сотни. И в этом даже не хотелось пользоваться подсказками или смотреть прохождения, потому что действительно интересно проходить самому, да и просто жалко в такой игре пропускать задумки авторов.

Thimbleweed Park è una lettera d’amore alle avventure grafiche classiche, ma costruita con strumenti moderni. L’impianto è quello del punta e clicca più puro, arricchito da dialoghi completamente doppiati, una grande quantità di contenuti extra e una struttura meno rigida rispetto ai titoli del passato.

Il gioco offre una discreta libertà nell’affrontare gli enigmi, un cast di personaggi ben caratterizzati e un umorismo che non perde occasione per rompere la quarta parete. Le citazioni e i riferimenti alle storiche avventure Lucasfilm/LucasArts sono numerosissimi e saranno particolarmente apprezzati da chi conosce bene il genere.

La trama riesce a mantenere alta la curiosità per tutta la durata dell’avventura, accompagnata da una grafica pixel art volutamente retrò, ma resa piacevole da un’ottima gestione delle risoluzioni moderne. L’interfaccia a verbi, le scorciatoie da tastiera e funzioni come l’evidenziazione degli oggetti richiamano apertamente le origini del punta e clicca, senza rinunciare alla comodità.

Non è però un gioco per tutti!
Thimbleweed Park propone enigmi complessi e spesso impegnativi, pensati per chi cerca una sfida vera e un’esperienza fedele allo spirito delle avventure grafiche classiche.

A very Retro feeling Point & Click Adventure Puzzler with a Detective Duo, a Cursing Clown, a Young
Game Developer and her ghost father as the main leads, where you switch between them throughout the story to uncover the secrets of Thimbleweed Park. If you are gonna play this game do it on HARD (it's not hard) casual is just hard with all the fun puzzles and half the background storytelling and characters moments ripped out, it's like a watered down version of the game.

I enjoyed the pixelart, the fitting music and the voice acting was all fine. The gameplay for the most part is just standard point and click puzzling and detective work but it works for the story it's trying to tell.

This game has some of the worst fricking achievements i have ever seen in a video game, but it's not hard to get just tedious...
Not without it's issues, it has a lot of that old adventure game "logic" where you just need to figure out what the devs wanted with some obscure nonsense that only made sense to them, but it's not too bad.
And the ending is just ... Lol what do you even say, wont spoil it but you either find it funny or you don't. I go in the latter category and was kinda just over it by then but it was a very enjoyable experience up until that.
Despite any annoyances I might have had I definitely recommend anyone who enjoys adventure point and click games to play this one!

It's pretty enjoyable. I liked all the characters and the voice acting was good. The puzzles were never TOO hard, but I'm a genuine moron when it comes to these games so I definitely had to look some stuff up. The story was intriguing but definitely fell apart in the end. As many others reviews have said, the last 20$ or so really brings the game down and the ending soured me for sure. Don't regret playing it though, had a good time. Wouldn't mind revising Thimbleweed one day.

Thimbleweed park, where to begin?

If you know about this game then you're probably familiar with the origins of it. It was developed by the same creators of the beloved and o.g. point and click 80's phenomenon Maniac Mansion. There's a ton of references to it, in fact, it's just one giant homage.

My biggest issue with this game is that it really loses it's identity at around the 90% mark and that really sucks... It had something great going for it up until then... then it just fell flat. I'm still recommending it because if you want to train your brain and challenge yourself, this game will definitely do just that... at least on hard mode. I wouldn't recommend playing on casual as you miss about 70% of the game (not kidding)

It's kind of a bit unbalanced in that sense... My first play through was on Hard, I used a walkthrough because I just don't have the time to enjoy figuring these kinds of games out any more. It took me years to finally conquer Maniac Mansion as a child and I just don't have that kind of patience or brain capacity to memorize a game of this scope. Maniac Mansion is a much simpler and smaller game by comparison... this game has around 1000% more content than Maniac Mansion does, even on casual mode.

If you want the full experience, play on Hard... I wish there was a medium setting because even Hard seemed insanely daunting and tedious in a lot of sections. It was mostly just screen shotting numbers and putting those numbers in to a phone, of which this puzzle is insanely overused. Near the end there's a lot of insanely cryptic puzzles that almost have no correlation to one another in terms of how the items work together to solve the puzzles. Without a walkthrough, I couldn't see someone figuring most of them out easily... you'd definitely get stumped.

Without going in to too much details about the mechanics, on a blind first playthrough some of the mechanics are creepy and interesting but on subsequent playthroughs, where you know what's going on, this feature is highly obnoxious.

It's a great game, it would probably be even more fun if you tried to solve it all yourself but again, not enough time in a day to do this for me unfortunately. It falls apart at the 90% mark and the ending wasn't exactly what I expected it to be... a bit of a bummer.

I honestly wish they would have just remade Maniac Mansion and expanded on it to give the game more features, more endings, better character abilities...etc... Apparently this game didn't do as well as the dev's had hoped it would, so I'm not sure if this is the last we'll ever see of this crew. I wish them the best though as they filled my childhood with amazing memories, unfortunately Maniac Mansion was lightning in a bottle... I doubt anyone will ever capture the magic of that game ever again. Good luck to the team that worked on this! I hope we will one day see a sequel or a remaster of Maniac Mansion!

I'm a big fan of all the saga of Monkey Island, that's why I bought this game. i recognize that I spent almost two months in playing the game, because a lot of factors:

I'm not young anymore, also I needed time to just pause my rhythm of play, and now in the holidays I made the porpoise of finish it, it was a great experience I had a blast!

I totally recommend this game, doesn't disappoint at all, if you have a lot of patience, start right away in hard mode, the hints will help a lot or you can use the hotline every time ;)

You will not regret this, also acquire the Ransome dlc sound package, its hilarious!

While there are some clever fourth wall breaks, I spent longer traveling across a massive cemetery screen, with 0 things to click on along the way, than I spent watching King Zora's mweeping FOR EACH CHARACTER just to find I had to backtrack WITH BOTH CHARACTERS because it wasn't the correct path to take. Instantly uninstalled.

When I started this game I was very much pumped because it had Maniac Mansion written all over it and I hadn't even found out that the creators of that game made this. After a few minutes I felt a bit underwhelmed and didn't like the voice acting, which has a certain stiffnes to it.

But pushing through that I found myself entertained from start to finish. Sure I had a couple of moments where I was stuck or felt that the story didn't go anywhere but after finishing the game I feel this is a gem. It has style, it has a nice story, and it has at its heart a beating for the old school point & click games I really don't feel throbbing all that much these days.

Just play it. It's short but great like a shooting star.

It's fun, it looks stunning, and the humour lands well most of the time. That being said, that ending REALLY soured this for me.

It felt lazy and rushed. So many questions are set up throughout, just to be brushed aside with 'Guys, listen, it's all just a game!'.

It's still completely worth a playthrough if you're a fan of the point & click genre. Just don't expect all your questions to be answered satisfactorily.

This game is fun, immersive and provides a story from several different perspectives. Like reading a good mystery novel, but in playable form. this game was clearly done with passion; i spent 11 hours in easy mode (taking my time exploring) so im pretty sure i will spend even more in hard mode someday, which is really good value for money. the walking around trying to crack the puzzles can get a bit repetitive, even with quick travel, otherwise, the wrting is witty and atmospheric.
i wish there were more secrets to the side characters and more cathartic resolution to the initial murder mystery, but i guess in the context of the story development in final chapter, it actually makes sense. it reminds me little bit of Inscryption and you will enjoy this game if you liked inscryption :))

Not sure what the recent bad reviews are about but this is just a fine point & click game. Though I did play the casual mode which was indeed easy most of the time. I have personally played most of the other Lucasarts adventures but I do prefer an easer time when I can. If you play on casual or not is up to you. But I liked having playing this.

Enjoyed this game. It's best to play it through, rather than coming back to it weeks or months later, as you forget clues and what certain items do, or are from. Good humour and a fun game overall. Some puzzles can be quite hard and take longer, but it adds good challenge to the game.

Als Fan der alten Lucasfilm Spiele hatte ich befürchtet, enttäuscht zu werden und das Spiel lag viel zu lange gekauft aber ungespielt herum.

Nun habe ich es endlich gespielt und es war besser, als ich es mir je hätte erträumen können! Absolut auf Monkey Island 1+2-Niveau mit zahllosen Anspielungen an Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken und Co. Spannende Story, toller Humor, knackige und durchweg absolut logische (!) Rätsel und viele moderne Quality-of-Life-Verbesserungen im UI, ohne dabei den Retro-Charme einzubüßen.

Es ist einfach perfekt geworden bis hin zum letzten i-Tüpfelchen im Abspann!

Ну вы видели эту классическую классику с 9 кнопками действия на скриншотах?) Вы уже понимаете, что это будет не "шуренько-быренько", а долго и "княпово" -княпни по 9 действий на всё, если в затыке, лол (хотя такого вроде не заметил)
Сюжет юморной, Твин Пиксовый, вполне в духе олдскульных Сиерры и Лукас Артс.

Отдельно упомяну, что игра легка по весу, мало жрёт батарею и управляется мышем\тачпадом. Просто идеально при отключении света на часов 6-8...

p.s. У игры есть 2 "сложности". И я бы посоветовал играть сперва на "хардмоде" (для ачивки нужно будет 2-ое прохождение). В этом варианте- больше ситуаций и локаций для действий. И будут задействованы ВСЕ предметы. Играя же на "изи"- у вас будет много предметов, именно для ситуаций "хардмода", а вы будете пытаться их куда-то применять. Это ведь наиболее бесячий момент квестов, когда в игре есть ненужный предмет, а вы его постоянно куда-то тыкаете, пытаясь понять зачем он!

p.p.s. Есть некоторая нелогичность, местами, хотя она в некотором роде и оправдана...
Всё сводится к механике 5 персонажей, и что они по-логике не знают, что происходит с другими, но постоянно действуют используя знания других персонажей, которые есть только у игрока, например номера телефонов, которые узнает один, а второй по нему звонит.

Ya para empezar, si tienes que hacer una novela visual, y pones la opcionde que te indiquen que puzzles y donde tienes que hacerlos, ya esta mal diseñado desde un inicio. No me lo he pasado, pero es que hay un momento que tienes 4 personajes, el terreno de juego es enorme y a saber donde tengo que ir. Me gust este genero, pero a veces menos es mas.

In classic Ron Gilbert style this game opens with a promising narrative and concept with the X-Files meets Twin Peaks meets St Elsewhere, giving us interesting characters and mystery that can very readily get invested in, and at the last second it anaemically limps towards a non-existent finish line because its creator has a vehement hatred for actually giving his games satisfying endings.

It has the same ending as all games of Ron Gilbert. So not a real ending. The game just ends. And he's even proud of that, as he laid out in a dev talk on video. Maybe an okay game with a few funny lines, but... if you think that the story of any of his games are of any meaning, you're in for a "surprise".

Bu sebeple oyunların dil desteklerinin olabildiğince fazla ülkeyi içermesi çok önemli. Türkçe dil desteği bulduğum site ile inanılmaz eğlenceli oldu. Her ne kadar ingilizceyi adventure oyunlarından öğrendiysem de kendi dilinizde oynamanın ayrı bir zevki var. Oğlum ingilizce olarak nintendo switch'inden oynuyor, ben buradan oynuyorum.

Oyundan bahsedecek olursak gençliğimin noob zamanlarına dönmüş gibiyim. Yolda, alışverişte, tuvalette puzzleları düşünüyorum. Modern pixel grafikler çok nostaljik. Karakterler süper. Özellikle flashbacklerde farklı karakterlere geçiş oyunun atmosferini dağıtmamış. Diyaloglar harika, umarım devamı gelir.

Therefore, it's crucial for games to include language support for as many countries as possible. The site I found that supports Turkish language was incredibly fun. Although I learned English from adventure games, there's a distinct pleasure in playing in your own language. My son plays in English on his Nintendo Switch, and I play on it.

Speaking of gaming, it feels like I've returned to the noob days of my youth. I'm thinking about puzzles on the road, while shopping, and even in the toilet. The modern pixel graphics are very retrospective. The characters are so joyful. The transitions between different characters, especially in flashbacks, don't distract the game's atmosphere. The dialogues are fantastic, and I hope there's a sequel.

consigliata perché è vecchio stile, puro humor che si rifà a zak mckracken, monkey island e via dicendo. Per i vecchiacci come me è miele, per i novelli un bel modo di capire come ci divertivamo noi (anche se forse molte cose come citazioni dai vecchi giochi non riusciranno a coglierle). J'adore jusqu'à présent. Très fidèle en général à l'expérience des anciennes jeux de Lucasfilm games, donc pour des vétérans, c'est un vrai plaisir. Pour vrai dire, je préfère le style pixel art de ce qu'ils ont fait plus récemment avec le nouveau Monkey Island.

Les puzzles semblent parfois complexes mais en général logiques, donc pas besoin d'essayer des combinaisons aléatoires d'objets d'inventaire pour découvrir des trucs bizarres par hazard. Les personnages sont intéressants, les dialogues drôles, tout comme il se faut.

La bande sonore est peut-être pas pour autant au rendez-vous, mais c'est passable.

Tout considéré, un 'take' moderne réussi des jeux d'aventure des années 80 et 90 qui maintient les atouts de ce genre, super-amusant pour des gens qui s'y connaissent, mais ça vaut la peine aussi pour des gamers plus jeunes d'essayer cet ancien genre de jeux vidéo qui n'existe plus vraiment dans le mainstream d'aujourd'hui.
