I'm not sure I want to continue playing this one... First of all the sound. This game has the worst sound I heard in decades. It's so bland, generic, minimalistic, most of the time there is just silence. Second, the gameplay. The gameplay is very poor. The combat is poor. Everything about the quality of this game is poor, if you ask me. I think this game tries to be some kind of Silent Hill, but it simply doesn't work for me.

So far not recommended at all.

I don't understand why everyone complains about the game, the game does not pretend to be the game of the year, but it has interesting puzzles, monsters, a variety of weapons, a stealth mode, a good story and a great price(especially at a discount). For all the time I played the game, I failed 1 time in the textures. I really liked the game, I recommend playing it!

This should have stayed in early access.
I moved my mouse all the lenght of my mousepad after changing my sensitivity setting and noticed I would alway make 1 rotation and a half, because it doesn't work.
I killed a boss and there was no death animation, he was just walking, staying in place and even after I took his gun, he was still holding it but his magnum was invisible.
Sometime you will try to do a stealth kill and it won't let you for some reason so the monster will just turn and smack you (And yes, I was equiped with a melee weapon if you was wondering...).
The monsters can walk on thin air once they spot you.
If you want something to laugh at, get it but on sale, that tr*sh isn't worth it's original price.

Edit : YOU CAN F*CKING DIE WHILE YOU ARE IN PAUSE AND THERE IS NO SOUND OR VISUAL CUES TO LET YOU KNOW LMAO, THIS GAME IS A JOKE.
That kind of sh*t is what give indie developpers bad rep.

Edit 2 : There is so much more I didn't report here but believe me, that game is terrible, still can't believe people gave it positive reviews.

FIRST, it's not a bad game. But i miss the sounds inside it. Following 3 points aren't to my taste: You neither can't hear the footsteps of your character, except in some short moments, nor most of the other ambient noises as well as the much too simple designed environments. Even Dreadout 1 in 2014 looked more detailed. Unfortunately for some kind of reason after pressing Escape inside the inventory i was thrown back to the beginning of the section after half an hour of playing it. But if you're bored buy it on a steam sale.

I wanted to love this game but I couldn't even get past the first section because of all the bugs and the game crashing and falling off the map with no checkpoint system at that point. I'll check next time to see if there was actually a patch update on this before I try it again, I'll change the review if everything works better.

EDIT EDIT: To the dev it's the ENTIRE start of the gameplay. Everything leading up to getting the doll head, I posted in the bug reports about exactly what happens. My weapon passes through the enemies and I get hit also.

UPDATE: The game is better than the original release but still the hit boxes are not great. You can make a direct hit with the pipe, bat, stick or the pistol and it will go right through the enemies. Also, making you think you have a choice with Gary is just mean. But I enjoy playing this a lot more this time around.

The premise for the game seemed interesting but honestly the controls and camera are extremely clunky and the game just doesn't look appealing when you are playing it. It's a mess of browns and greys. I know the idea is to get across the feeling of an oppressive atmosphere but you need to take more notes from the Silent Hill games instead of late 2000 era first person shooters on your colour palette and level design choices.

Не рекомендую.Геймплей сносный,можно убивать врагов в открытом бою палкомй или пистолетом,можно под стелсом,есть способности для продвижения по сюжету,загадки надо разгадывать. Но все желание играть отбила техническая часть.
1) управление.есть клаво-мышь и джойстик.Но в главном меню клаво-мышь почему-то не работает тогда как в игре работают 2 варианта управления без изменения настроек.
2) сложность настройки чувствительности камеры на джойстике,это можно сдеелать один раз за запуск игры,далее игра на изменения не реагирует.
3)пару раз провалился сквозь текстуры на первый этаж,причем рядом со спуском.
4)это не так критично но отсутствует русский язык
Не тратьте на эту игру время.

这令我有些难以理解，这真的是一款已完成的游戏吗。。。？pv宣传给了我很大的震撼，因此我选择了购买这款游戏，结果就是我很气愤！我第一次玩一款游戏二十分钟就感到愤怒！我对建模没有太大的要求，但当我跳过剧情开始游戏后，我就懵了！这动作的流畅度真是神了，像是30帧的动作只用了10帧的动画，人物撞到墙视角会很奇怪的移动，游戏的任务索引不明不白，教室要打碎窗户才能出去，出去后到了右边杀掉一只怪要找人，却死活找不到地方上去，左边也是一条死路，或许是我真的眼瞎看不到路，但这糟糕透顶的动作和简单到全让你猜的主线让我玩了二十分钟就气的不行的来点“否”了，不建议大家入，我不知道这个游戏剧情有多好，但糟糕的操作手感和不明确的任务指引让人太痛苦了！实际画面和宣传视频的差别几乎相当于一个MMD有没有渲染，要不是“青睐之光”没了，我几乎觉得这是一个刚从“青睐之光”下来的抢先体验作品...

I want to start with this since people always seem to point it out when it comes to indie games. It does not matter if it was made by 1 person or 1,000 people. It doesnt matter if its a single person in a garage or a team in a major studio. Both can and have put out beautiful, amazing, and unique games but equally have a chance of putting out crap. This games falls somewhere in the middle.

This game started off sooo good, it had an interesting story line, a very nice ambience, good characters, some very fun puzzles in the early game and decent character development. You don't get to know much about the main character or the supporting cast but everything you do learn makes sense in the context of the game. But as the game continues all of the bugs and glitches just become so over bearing it almost becomes unplayable.

The combat seems to be trying to imitate the last off us, fight head on or distract the enemy for the sneak damage. Issues become apparent after the first encounter in the game. When it comes to fighting head on melee you either miss a majority of the swings because of the controls and camera angles or you become almost fused within the enemy and they just stand there while you beat them to death. Weapons will break quite often and when using a wooden weapon to beat an alien demon thingy to death it makes sense but when using items like the metal pipe or rock it is very impractical that after killing 2 or 3 enemies that it would shatter. The range combat is VERY hit or miss (Except the taser). You can be sitting still on a stationary target with the cross hair trained on the target and still manage the miss the target but also you can aim at a targets stomach and somehow get a head shot(Except the taser). This becomes very frustrating on puzzles that require you to hit a target to progress. A large majority of your combat is going to come from; running around spamming r to hear for enemies, once you find some go into sneak, perform your sneak attack, and then move on. You wont be using a lot of the throwing items like fruit or cans to distract the items partly because its unnecessary but mostly because you can only throw most items about 2 feet. If you use sneak melee most of the time you wont alert other enemies and as a bonus you can perform sneak attacks through walls if you are in the right position. Also just use the taser when you can it is very OP and you can 1-shot taser sniper a guy from across the map.

Theres also a bear trap you can put down but 90% of the time I managed to trap myself in it so I ignored using it.

I really enjoyed the puzzles in this game. There was a lot of "AH OF COURSE" moments that are the bane of all gamers but show that the developer put a lot of effort into them. These puzzles, for the most part, show not only did the developer put in a lot of effort but it also showed care. It showed someone who really wanted to make a quality experience in a survival horror game instead of follow the cliches that are becoming so common. There are two major issues that come with the puzzles. Some of the smaller puzzles (Use the doll to get through the space or walk through this area in a certain way) are prone to getting bugged out if you do a number of things such as falling off a platform, crouching in the wrong place, or opening your inventory at the wrong time. Most of the larger puzzles require you to have certain items whether it be a melee weapon,ammo, or a fire extinguisher and if you use this items too early or use them out of order you will become stuck and have to restart the level. This isnt uncommon but the issues it not knowing you need the item until spending a good amount of time on the puzzle and than having to restart to make sure you have said items. Its very reminiscent of old school N64 and PC rpg games and its something that should be surely eliminated.

The controls and camera angle are what breaks things like combat and immersion for me. The controls are a bit slippery which wouldnt be a big deal and would actually work very well with this game but with the fact that the camera will not only clip outside of the map 90% of the time but will also bump off of objects in the map it makes it really hard to navigate the map or engage in combat. Controls are always hard to explain so I wont focus on them and the camera getting caught on objects and clipping outside of walls are something that all gamers have experienced so I dont have to go in depth.

I don't want to give the wrong impression with my review, I actually loved this game. There were just so many issues that I found while playing that I cant recommend people spend 15$ on a game that I think should still be in beta. If you have an extra 15$ that you can waste pick up the game but if not keep this game on follow and check back for future updates.

I want to follow this with a list of glitches I found within 4 hours of play. Some Major, Some minor. I have faith the dev can fix all of these.

-Able to sneak kill enemies through walls and corners
-When going into the "Doll" you can sometimes be put into a wall or object or out of bounds
-Camera will clip outside of walls allowing you to see enemies
-Crouching underneath object and opening your inventory will cause your character to lock and not be able to stand up
-Dropping inventory on the ground and picking all items at once allows you to hold more than max items in your pack
-Picking up items while balancing on a beam will sometimes like character in a T pose
-Some items dont have descriptions
-Firing a gun in front of a dead enemy can sometimes cause them to respawn
-Crouching when walking away from a set bear trap player will sometimes become trapped
-Flashlight Disappears (Might not be a bug)
-Sometimes unable to select items if opening inventory too close to wall or object

บอกเลยว่าไม่ใช่ ตัวเกมจะเน้นไปที่การ stealth ไม่ให้ศัตรูรู้ตัวมากกว่า, เราสามารถเลือกสู้กับศัตรู, stealth ไปด้านหลังและฆ่า หรือไม่สู้เลย stealth แอบๆและหาทางผ่านไปต่อก็สามารถทำได้ (ยกเว้นบางซีนที่เกมบังคับให้สู้)

- เกมนี้เป็นเกมเนื้อเรื่อง โดยตัวเกมใช้คำศัพท์ที่ง่ายต่อความเข้าใจ ทำให้คนโง่อังกฤษแบบผมก็สามารถเล่นเกมนี้ได้อย่างสนุกและเข้าใจเนื้อเรื่อง, เนื้อเรื่องสนุกและน่าติดตาม
- หากใครชอบเกมภาพสไตล์ Animeญี่ปุ่น หรือเกมสไตล์ Silent Hill, Evil Within ไม่ควรพลาด
- ผมชอบเกมสยองขวัญ แฟนตาซี ลึกลับ สไตล์ Silent Hill อยู่แล้ว ทำให้เกมนี้ค่อนข้างสนุก และตอบโจทย์ทีเดียว

- ระบบการต่อสู้ของเกม ค่อนข้างแย่ ทั้งการสู้ระยะประชิดและยิงปืน ขาดความสมูท ทำให้บางครั้งเราตีโดนและไม่โดนบ้าง ยิงโดนบ้างไม่โดนบ้าง (ทางที่ดีหลีกเลี่ยงการต่อสู้ให้มากที่สุดและเน้นstealthจะดีกว่า)
- Animation การเคลื่อนที่ของตัวละคร, และ Cut Scene บางฉาก ดูไม่ค่อยดี (แต่ข้อนี้ พอจะให้อภัยได้ เพราะผู้พัฒนา เป็นแค่ทีมเล็กๆ ไม่ใช่ค่ายเกมยักษ์ใหญ่)
- ปุ่มกดในเกมที่ไม่สามารถตั้งค่าได้หรือแก้ไขได้ (ไม่ค่อยถนัดเท่าไหร่ แต่เล่นๆไปเดี๋ยวก็ชินเอง) เช่น ปุ่ม stealth คือปุ่ม X เป็นต้น
- ระบบการหมุนเมาส์ค่อนข้างแย่ (เมาส์ช้ามาก ผมปรับเร็วสุดยังรู้สึกว่าช้า)
