I agree with some of the other reviews, it is not a 'game', but more like a short demo. 3 short demos to be sure, but short. I watched all 3 of them, and I enjoyed the scenery - the wildlife, flora, massive jellyfish swimming by you, and the whale encounter were nicely done, but I don't think I'll use it much ever again. I got I'm guessing 15 minutes of entertainment out of it total. You can't really move except as your room setup allows you to walk. Setting up a real VR camera in a real environment would be preferable to the CGI.
for 5 bucks this is great. The resolution can be pumped up to around 4k x 4k on a 3080 with 90 fps and with the pico it looks stunning, almost real tbh! The wale kinda scared my 3 year old kid who I btw probably shouldn't have allowed to watch! lol

AS a scuba diver I thought I would Give this a try. I have to say it looks FABULOUS.
It is drawn brilliantly, the noises, the way the fish react. I got this in the sale for a couple of pounds.
If you get the chance to buy it cheap do it. Its pretty short but honestly, it looks AMAZING...
Worth every penny. You would be mad not to buy it. This I would use as a demo to show off the abilities of my Quest Pro.

I love it. to the developer, you got it all right, I think my only gripe is that that crackling noise you get when reef diving needs adjusting, it is'nt Crackly enough. I'm sure you know what mean. Any scuba diver would know what I mean.

Ein nettes kleines (10min) Abenteuer in die Tiefen der Meere. Grafik ist hübsch und die Tierwelt und Umgebungen sind schön dargestellt. Auch die Immersion, dass ein riesiger Wahl vor einem steht ist gewaltig! Noch kleiner käme man sich aber vor, wenn der Spieler bspw. als Taucheranzug zu sehen ist (Also der Körper und die Arme/Hände. Dies hat mir persönlich ein bisschen gefehlt. Aber ansonsten ein cooles VR-Erlebnis 😊👍
At first I could not get this to work on the Quest 2. As stated by others, the controller did not respond and you seemed to be stuck halfway in the floor.
I did manage to get it working though and it seems to be in the order that you start everything up.
How I got it working. First start the quest PC app. Then switch on the Quest 2 and connect it to the PC. Once connected I controlled the PC through the quest and launched Steam VR. Once on the Steam VR screen, with the mountains and stars, pull up the PC again and the start The Blu. This has worked every time for me.
The Blu is short but graphics are great and well worth £5 for a demo of what is capable. Great to show first time users.
The Blu was one my first VR experiences. For me, it will always remain a high water mark in VR achievement. I hope they keep refreshing this series with new episodes. Beautiful experience. Absolutely transformative.

This was my first VR experience, and although it is short, it's powerful. It hooked me on VR from minute one!
I gave this a thumbs down, I really didnt want to because in all fairness the graphics are really great, but, this game is kinda like as a kid hopping in a car expecting to go for a real long ride and you end up getting dropped off down the street, and you are left thinking, " whaa, is that it? ".......this game should be given away as a demo, there is no " getting your moneys worth " in it, even though its sold at an extremely low price.

Hands down the best Vr experience I have had in my life so far.
Although short, theBlu allows you to have a fantastic Virtual reality journey deep into the sea. The experience can be viewed seated or standing and does not actually require any inputs (you can spook away some fishes by waving your hands at them and one level allows you to use a flashlight but that is about it).
I believe this makes the experience deeply accessible to showcase Virtual reality, you don't need to explain the controls or anything to the person you wish to make experience Vr. Just put the headset on them, launch the desired scenario and let them be amazed.
This ease of configuration made me discover this amazing experience to my grandfather passionate about marine biology with ease and this despite him usually being very technophobic.
A big thumbs up from me but I do believe most of the worth in the game comes from sharing it with others !

Under water sea with amazing Visuals. The detail put into this underwater adventure is outstanding. Each chapter isn't too long, so I think the pace is decent. If you're into the sea but don't actually wanna go under, this can fix that.
For $6 it there could be more to it than the three experiences. But the experiences that you do get are amazing, great sound and visual design, the aquatic life reacts to your attempts to touch them, and it's visually stunning. Overall 7/10
One of the best VR experiences you can get. I wish they would make more content. I would gladly pay for DLC.

ive logged more hours in this game, i used to play this at the VR lounge i was the manager of in Toronto. awesome experience!
This is pretty and relaxing as an experience, but it is very short, lasting only about 10-15 minutes, and has basically no interactivity, making you just sit in place and watch the fish swim for the duration. Compared to other games and VR experiences, it's boring and doesn't last nearly long enough to justify the asking price.

Рекомендую, но если есть кому показать и удивить, а так посмотрел и всё... даже билет в океонариум стоил около 300р, но только Я там был 1.5 часа.

I just got my first VR glasses yesterday (Oculus Quest 2) and i was always interested in the ocean, and after reading the first couple of reviews regarding this spectacular adventure, i took the chance and gave it a go. I must say i do not regret the choice i made, it was the most overwhelming experience i had in my life with computers. So i can only advise anybody who is thinking about getting this, DO IT!!! you will definitely not regret your decision.
NOTE: This is not a game!!! It will take you for a couple of minutes adventure, where you can explore how it feels to be underwater.
I don´t understand the reviews from some people, they dislike just because they are so long into VR already. Let people make there own decision, and for newbies like i am, it was a great first experience into the world of VR.
Pretty great VR experience. Not sure why the devs bailed on this project and went with something more complicated and incredibly less popular for their second release. They could have released some dlc or made the blu 2 and made the $$$ izzi. I guess they don't like money.
The Blu is very simple and short experience, it's perfect for showcasing VR. But that's basically it. You don't do anything but look around.
For me, it has been worth it as a VR tech demo.

A short experience, but always my first go-to when showing off VR to people. The three vignettes range from peaceful to awe-inspiring to scary. It never ceases to amaze new people I show this to, and I hope the developer comes out with more work like this as I would happily buy them.
Short but very sweet. I bought it for about $6, and that seems the apt price. It has three underwater scenes, none of which is terribly long (although two of them you can slow down), but all of which are really well rendered and immersive. If you bought VR for the "awe", then this is a must have. Also, there is no movement in these three -- they're all stationary -- which makes them ideal for introducing friends and family members to VR.

This game is just 10-20min experience and you will never play again the graphics of the game is old so you wont enjoy it as much as if you tried it in 2016 when it was released, try looking for new games like this type if you interested.

Very simple game. I use this as an introduction to VR for people who haven't experienced it. Generally as a fallback if the controls in the lab are too hard to grasp.
It's very pretty, but be aware you get three short (3-5m) non-interactive scenes.
I so enjoyed this. I wish you could move around and end when you wanted. A side from that I thought it was amazing. I loved how you could interact with the fish. Amazing display of the ocean. Wish there were more to see.

This was the software that made me realise how good VR could be. For immersion, for education for my kids, for letting people who can't get out see the world, it's so very very polished. I immediately came back to the store page to see if there was any DLC or other programs by the same developers.
Let this review stand as an entreaty - please, please make more. You've got the whole engine perfected, just churn out content as fast as you can, we will all buy it instantly.

It's just a 15 minutes experience and if you think the asked price is a bit too high for the time it offer, you would be absolutely right. It's almost shameful how short it is but the price has dropped recently. I'm pretty sure it used to cost more.
Regardless.. it's impossible not to recommend. It really delivers on that "wow" factor we all bought our VR sets for. As short as it is.. you won't be disappointed.

Schöne App um Menschen VR näher zu bringen. Aber leider ansonsten zu kurz, keine Zufallselemente und zu wenig/ kein neuer/ Content für 10 EUR! Aus der Krabbelkiste aber kaufenswert.
A good introduction to vr. I do however regret paying 10€ for this.
I see the price has since been slashed in half, but realistically this belong in the category of 1-3€. It's no longer graphically impressive, there's barely any interaction (you can slightly push some things around), and it only takes 20 minutes to experience everything. There's no replayability- it's the same scripted sequences as far as I can tell.
Even though I have my gripes I am left want more. Vr is the perfect medium to explore the mystical underwater world. I'd pay the same amount for a similar experience in a different environment. I'd ♥♥♥♥♥ about the price afterwards but I'd pay it as the lure of the unknown is so enticing.

It's "only" a combined maybe 25 minutes experience but well worth the price of admission. It would be nice if the enviroments would also have an "endless mode" were events would be randomized but maybe for season 2?
Definatly the best way to experience vr for the first time and figure out how it makes you feel.

This is a beautiful game and a great introduction to VR. It was one of the reasons I got a VR and I still come back to it every once in a while for a quick relaxing experience. Literally every person that has ever tried my VR... this is what I start them on. It is always the first thing I put them in.
You don't really move around, though you can reach out and touch some things, so it's not overwhelming. It's a good way to detect if you will get motion sick. You get to just stand there... and experience the beauty around you.
And it's incredibly detailed! Even now in 2021 it's got amazing graphics and is well worth the buy. I still go to it now and again to just be in a peaceful, beautiful place, where I can just relax for like 5 minutes. It's a great way to calm down if you are having a rough day or are just overwhelmed... but don't have much time to actually stop and do some self care.
Is it worth $10? At this point I might say no just because there are a lot of underwater games for VR out there now. However if you are the kind of person that wants a beautiful environment to meditate in. A place to just sit... and relax for a few minutes. The kind of person that will play this over and over because you enjoy the beauty and the serene... then I would say yes. If you can manage to get it on sale than double yes.
If you are NOT that person though... this game probably isn't for you. There is no action and no real movement as I said. You're just vibing. I would say it's still worth picking up if you can get it on a good sale though if strictly for the purposes of introducing someone to VR in an easy going, toes in the water, kind of way.
If anyone ever tells you your VR isn't appealing, put them on this. Even in 2023 this can make a believer out of anyone. Still my favourite piece to demo with.

Great intro to VR. My youngest relatives love it, especially the whale part (even though it's very short). Beautiful visuals, nice interactions, just a really cool experience. It's basically a VR demo that is very short, so your mileage may vary, but if you want to demonstrate what VR is to your friends and relatives, it's a fine choice.
