Great atmosphere, but I the constant resets from using the matchsticks to see kill the pacing for me.

Excelente juego, muy original. Una dificultad bastante ajustada con buenos puzzles. La mecánica de moverse solo con el mapa a oscuras y poder acceder a la vista 3D solo durante unos segundos usando las cerillas me parece una idea buenísima. Una pequeña joya oculta en Steam, muy recomendable.
Really unique premise and presentation in this exploration puzzle game. Really enjoyed my time with it, though I did encounter a few bugs toward the end where the screen would go blue and you had to restart, but overall not anything too egregious. Definitely give this a try if you enjoyed games like Lorelei and the Laser Eyes or Obra Dinn. It's not as complex, but for the price it's a good game to spend an evening with.
A short puzzle game with horror themes and unique gameplay. The puzzles were good and I really liked the atmosphere, thanks to the fitting music and audio in general. Besides the atmosphere, not much horror if that's what you are looking for.
Un juego de puzzles con un arte único, una mécanica de juego bastante original, por la cual me llamo la atención y decidí jugarlo. Es un poco corto, pero te mantiene enganchado hasta el ultimo instante, para mi una joya oculta.
El único bug que vi, es que al salir del juego y entrar de nuevo no guarda las preferencias de idioma y se pone en ingles por defecto.
El juego tiene una mecánica muy interesante, pero por desgracia todavía tiene bastantes bugs, incluido alguno que imposibilita avanzar en el juego. Una vez que resuelvo el puzle de la librería y los caballeros, se abre pero no reinicia el loop y me quedo a oscuras sin poder avanzar ni "apagar la cerilla"
Una pena, quizás lo pruebe de nuevo en unos meses.
Este juego consigue crear una atmósfera misteriosa y tensa, el concepto es muy interesante y los puzles son entretenidos, aunque hay alguno un poco rebuscado.
This game made me scared to look at a map for too long. One of the best psychological horror games I've played in a long while. Artsy, scary, oppressive, cryptic. If you like experimental games that leave you thinking for a long time, this game is for you.

Really really cool and different game, the devs did such a good job at making the puzzles truly interesting. The story is intriguing and I felt myself compelled to keep digging for information! 10/10 little game, a good short and concise horror experience.
Cortito pero intrigante, tiene un tono creepy a-la-Inscryption súper atractivo y varios puzzles súper inteligentes. Aunque no sea para todo el mundo, si te ha llamado la atención merece la pena que lo juegues.
The Great Below offers a brief but focused horror experience, featuring a deeply atmospheric journey and a lot of creative ideas that will throw you for a loop and serve to steadily amplify the horror aspect throughout the game.
It's relatively short runtime (while still being more then fitting its price) also serves as one of it's strengths, making sure that its unique set of mechanics doesn't overstay their welcome.
All in all, a welcome experience for all fans of puzzle and/or horror games.
I loved the game, it's so interesting visually and amazingly tied together by the enveloping OST. The puzzles make you really explore the living space and pay close attention to the surroundings, even in the dark, and the symbolism will take you on a mystic journey to reach an elusive truth.
This game is very haunting. It has an awesome soundtrack, and a tense claustrophobic atmosphere. If you are unsure I'd recommend trying the demo first. The game is very short, a full play through is on the order of 3 hours.
I don’t usually play horror games (they are too spooky for me) but I've loved “The Great Below”. The atmosphere of being watched and the claustrophobic and existential pressure that surrounds the game is chilling, and they create a rich and evolving universe that unravels in front of the player. 10/10 ^_^

The art and the music creates a fantastic and dark atmosphere, and the exploration creates a sense of vulnerability that keeps you in constant tension. All the elements the game has work together to create an unique game that keeps you playing from start to finish.
