Mignon petit jeu de logique avec mécanique de retour ou d'avancé dans le temps, pas de dialogues juste des sons d'ambiance vraiment agréable à écouter (bruit de pluie, d'orage...), pas du tout long ni compliqué à faire, je le recommande.
Cependant, les éclairs sont assez aveuglants ce qui m'a valu un mal de crâne, je conseille de fermer les yeux à ces moment-là si vous êtes sensible à la lumière.

Бродя по запутанным лабиринтам инди-сцены я из раза в раз натыкаюсь на новый сундук, таящий в себе бесценное сокровище. Сегодняшний гость, который попался мне на глаза, носит название The Gardens Between.

Это небольшая как по продолжительности, так и по исполнению игра, построенная на механике перемотки времени. Причём реализована эта идея, на мой взгляд, очень новаторски. Вы буквально управляете самим временем - отматываете, перематываете, останавливаете и т.д. И на этом строятся все головоломки игры, радующие также своим разнообразием ситуации. Управление здесь реализовано с помощью всего трёх клавиш/кнопок - влево-вправо и действие, однако... Разработчикам этого хватило, чтобы сделать не особо сложный, но при этом действительно увлекательный геймплей.

Сюжет повествует нам о двух закадычных друзьях в лице девочки Арины и мальчика Френдта, которые отправляются в путешествие по своим ранее пережитым воспоминаниям. Они будут бродить по мелким островкам своего общего прошлого, ностальгируя по ушедшим радостным и не очень моментам. У девочки Арины в наличии имеется волшебный фонарь, который переносит огоньки, зажигает созвездия, строит световые мосты и рассеивает туман. Мальчик Френдт тем временем умеет использовать различные временные механизмы, восстанавливающие или разрушающие окружение, а также дёргать за верёвочки с колокольчиками, звон которых раскрывает или закрывает цветки с огоньками. Основная концепция, как я уже упомянул выше, сосредоточена на управлении временем. Вы не управляете персонажами напрямую - вы как бы взаимодействуете с ними путём течения времени. Вы и есть само время! Звучит необычно, согласитесь! Точно так же, как и играется!

Диалогов в игре нет от слова совсем - всё повествование строится исключительно на визуальном восприятии. Зато есть очень спокойная и приятная музыка, погружающая в лёгкий транс своими меланхоличными нотками. Графически игра выглядит недорого, но имеет свой привлекательный сказочный стиль, наполненный яркими красками без перегибов в цветовой гамме. Всё сделано аккуратно и приятно глазу.

Пройти The Gardens Between можно буквально за один присест в несколько часов, но после завершения кажется, что большего и не нужно. Игра ненадолго погружает вас в свой маленький уютный мир и дарит поистине уникальный опыт, а после не держит вас и отпускает в дальнейшее плавание по просторам игровой индустрии. Игроки, которым нравятся тёплые и добрые истории, а также любители всего необычного точно останутся от данного проекта в восторге. Ну или хотя бы закончат прохождение с лёгкой улыбкой на лице, как это сделал я.

Puzzle complexity and audio/visual environment reminiscent of Monument Valley, with timeline mechanics like Braid. The first few levels feel way too linear/easy, but after that complexity bumps. A couple hours to complete the storyline, though apparently there are a number of achievements / easter eggs left. I wish I could enjoy a little more pretty scenery not in the rain. Story setting was a little simple/sappy but fine and mostly in the background. Would play a sequel.

- A very nice soundtrack
- You can really feel the friendship between the two main characters
- The reconstruction of what appears to be the late 90s/the early 2000s works with a good amount of nostalgia, which fits the game in its story and message
- The ending is pretty touching

- Controls happen to require a little too much precision, sometimes
- If Frendt is the one moving out, why did I spot a box with Arina's name on it in the final section?

Here's another game I stored away for a good while, before finally giving it another chance and reaching it's end. And I have to say, I was well ahead in the story (by the end of the sixth section) when I uninstalled it. And the reason was simply that... I wasn't invested? Like, I had come that far and it all felt like a slog, so I chose to turn towards more interesting games. But in the end I realized it was unfair on my part, and took this ride to an end. I still think this game could have benefitted from a less of a one-note gameplay, but maybe it's just me...

- L'amicizia tra i due protagonisti si percepisce con chiarezza
- La ricostruzione di quella che sembra la fine degli Anni 90/l'inizio degli anni 2000 fa la sua parte con una buona dose di nostalgia, che calza a dovere con la storia e quindi anche il messaggio di fondo al gioco
- Il finale è piuttosto toccante

Ecco un altro gioco che ho messo da parte per un bel po', prima di dargli finalmente un'altra possibilità e giungerne alla fine. E devo dire che fossi parecchio in là nella storia (alla fine della sesta sezione, per intendersi) quando l'ho disinstallato. E il motivo era semplicemente il fatto che... non ero coinvolto? Nel senso, ero arrivato fin lì e mi sembrava piuttosto noioso, e così avevo pensato di dedicarmi a giochi più interessanti. Ma alla fine ho capito che era ingiusto da parte mia e ho portato a termine la partita. Continuo a pensare che il gioco in questione avrebbe potuto beneficiare da un gameplay meno monotono, ma forse sono solo io...

This is a beatiful game, but gameplay wise I'll say it's literally in the middle for what the central mechanic is, what I mean is that half the levels are brilliant for enigmas and what happens, while the other half of them have, and I almost never say it, backtracking just for the sake of backtracking, and I'm someone who loves backtracking if there's something interesting waiting for me, like an enigma, interesting scenery and/or in rpgs also interesting fights, a shame considering the other half being very good and brilliant

Не буду притворяться, что я понял, о чём эта игра. Я человек прямой, к аллегориям по большей части глухой, поэтому ничего, кроме крепкой подростковой дружбы и расставания не увидел. Но с игрой это никак не связано. Почему аллегоричные "пузыри памяти" превращаются в созвездия? Почему герои плавают между ними на своём доме-дереве? Почему в итоге всё тонет? Глупый я.

Впрочем, играть это не мешает. Вас забрасывает в панорамы из гротескно искажённых повседневных предметов, видимо, связанных с определённым эпизодом жизни героев, герои ходят сами, а вы мотаете время вперёд-назад, активируя периодически ключевые точки. Нужно всего ничего - дойти с зажжённой лампой до конца уровня. И здесь авторы выжали из "трёхкнопочного" геймплея "вперёд, назад, активация" всё, что можно, и даже немного больше (без механик заключительного этапа " поймай молнию в строго определённый, заранее неизвестный момент, тогда она будет вести себя не так" можно было бы и обойтись). Элементы, которые не подчиняются течению времени. "Одноразовые" элементы. Элементы, которые можно "промотать" в нужную точку. Элементы, где нужные действия выполняются многократной перемоткой "вперёд-назад". Элементы, которые игнорируют вашу перемотку...

И здесь, мне показалось, игра чуть-чуть переборщила. Да, она занимает всего три часа, но последние полчаса-час в них - лишние. Ты уже понял, как работает игра, ты уже знаешь, как её решать, а она всё добавляет, добавляет и добавляет этапы. Можно было бы и покороче.

Не скажу, что прям очень хорошие головоломки, но ради необычности механик поиграть стоит.

두 친구 중 한 친구의 이사로 인해 헤어지게 되고 마지막으로 둘이 만든 오두막에서 하나씩 옛 추억을 되짚어보는 스토리
그렇다 보니 배경 오브젝트가 죄다 두 친구의 추억속 물건들이다. 둘이 같이 즐긴 게임, 둘이 같이 만든 오두막, 둘이 같이 본 별자리, 둘이 같이 간 공룡 박물관 등등 게임 하는 내내 자연스럽게 둘의 추억 여행에 동행하는 기분이 들었다

시간을 뒤로 돌리거나 앞으로 돌리거나 해서 퍼즐을 풀어 나가는 굉장히 심플한 퍼즐 게임
룰도 조작도 간단한데 퍼즐이 상당히 참신해서 즐겁게 했다. 초반엔 너무 쉬워서 퍼즐을 푼다기 보다 그냥 화면 감상하는 게임이었는데, 그나마 중후반 가면서 좀 머리를 쓰는 퍼즐이 나와서 게임하는 재미가 생기더라

한글화되어 있다고 하지만 스토리 내에 글이 한줄도 안나오고 메뉴만 한글이다. 번역이 잘되었니 못되었니 따질것도 없다
그 외 시스템 상으로 불편한건 못느낀듯. 업적 따기가 좀 어려웠는데 스토리만 클리어해서는 업적을 다 못모으고 이런 저런 시도를 해봐야 딸 수 있다. 그나마 챕터 하나 하나가 짧고 원하는 챕터만 다시할 수 있으니 놓쳐도 나중에 따기 쉽게 되어 있다

퍼즐 게임, 감성적인 게임 좋아한다면 추천. 하지만 볼륨이 너무 적어서 2만원은 좀 비싸듯하고 반값이상 세일할때 사는게 좋겠다

不错的小体量游戏，按理说两小时可以通关，我玩了两个半小时纯属是因为我很笨不擅长解密游戏。
画风和音乐不错，两个角色的各种小动作细节可爱。剧情平淡日常，[spoiler] 玩到中期还以为暗示这是个悲剧，结果并不是。 [/spoiler]
玩法机制方面，[spoiler] 对我这种玩解密游戏缺乏头绪时，会选择“总之先试试看！”的玩家有点不友好，通过时间回溯解密代表了注定要花大量的时间在观看重复的动画上，不少关卡需要非常注意场景中的细节才能找到解法。以及个人认为，不同物品的不同使用方法，实质上也是加入了一种新的机制，这些机制通常只出现一两次，很容易在后续给玩家造成误导。比如，我在经历过用月亮点灯和雷电供电后，以为最后也要靠收集雷电来获得灯光，在这里卡了很久，结果是要退回去开电视……？老实说，多次走回头路让我觉得体验不是很好。 [/spoiler]
总而言之还是值得一玩的游戏，推荐打折的时候入。

Super interessting puzzle platformer about a neighbours friendship and their memories and moments. The levels have a very interesting design, which I had a lot of fun with! The gameplay is also pretty interesting where you need to move time forward or backwards to watch what will change in the environment to clear the level.
The levels have a lot of creativity and perfectly show the concept of "memories" with their chaotic nature. The music player level was by far my favourite one!

游戏脚本写的不错，但是一来二去就是来回回溯这些操作，玩久了难免同质地枯燥，好在总时长控制地不错。游戏的出发点、立意和时长都非常是独立游戏应该有的样子。就是玩完了才发现这好像是俩男的，不是姐弟。

Found the puzzles challenging enough to be engaging, but never obtuse enough to be frustrating. Good as the puzzles were, however, it's the game's bittersweet tone that really stuck with me. Easy recommend if you like pretty, melancholic games. I could just stare at the main menu for, like, an hour.

Точнее даже не истории, а интимного погружения в детскую дружбу двух соседей, проходящих по обломкам своих воспоминаний в виде объектов общего досуга и увлечений. Без слов, за счет лишь визуального нарратива, игра умудряется показать характеры персонажей и их взаимоотношения, их увлечения и предпочтения. Протягом гри ми збираємо спогади двух дітей про їх дружбу. Основна ідея гри в керуванні часом, де персонажі можуть разом з часом рухатися вперед або назад.

Difficulty is a good balance.
Not so hard to be frustrating nor too easy to get boring.

Lovely graphics and animation.
Background SFX & music is calming.

Levels can be replayed to get missed achievements.

I played mouse & keyboard.
Only need to use <-- --> and the space bar.

Although it can be played quickly, I enjoyed not rushing through.

It is a lovely story about childhood friendships, memories and the heartbreak of having to be separated. Lovely music, lovely setting. I like that there are no talking and no text, only visuals. Interesting puzzles that incorporate the surroundings in clever ways together with the time mechanic.

My grudge with it is that it is very strict on how the developers intented things to be done, so they tend to "cheat" in places, or change their own rules so the player have to stick to their solution. I.e. you can stop time at any moment... most of the times, but if stopping time at a certain point would allow you to solve something in a different way, the time automatically rewinds or moves forward once you have intended to stop it. There were a few of these instances where I really disliked the thing because the way I saw the solution was not theirs and therefore it refused to work and I got stuck.

Overall it was an enjoyable experience. A bit slow and tedious for my taste in puzzle games, but I think it is a very good contribution to its genre.

This is an original puzzle game. It's quite smart and keeps you on your toes.
The ambiance is definitely chill - I almost fell asleep while playing.
The design, gameplay and musics are all nice - though a bit simplistic - but 17€ for a game that is 2.5 hours long, without replayability, is a bit steep.
Definitely get it when it's on sale.

This is a game with environments that hearken back to childhood memories of playing outside or exploring video games with a friend on a rainy day. It has a peaceful, ambient soundtrack that accompanies you as you work through various puzzles. It is single-player, but you use the skills of both characters to progress through the puzzles. The difficulty--or maybe more just complexity--increases as the game progresses. However, because each level builds on the next, it never feels like you are being introduced to too much all at once. It is a great game to unwind with after a difficult day at home or work.

良かったです。
雰囲気や映像なども良いですが、操作キーが十字とスペースのみという単純な操作性がVery Goodです。
ゲーム自体も一つ間違えれば進行不能になるというバグは無く、とても丁寧に作られていると感じました。
何よりアイデアが斬新で面白い、これぞインディーゲームの醍醐味と言えるでしょう。
もっといろんな人に遊ばれて良いゲームだと思います。少なくとも私は、買って後悔はありませんでした。

8/10 Braid式时间解谜佳作
因为没有啥文字叙述所以汉化机翻也无所谓了

操控时间前后流动来控制物体移动/重组/分离。虽说是类似谜画的时间设计，但这作谜题设置上更多像是路径优解类的，时间只是方便操控机关而设。谜题难度不高，而且每一关场景也很小，属于是就算试也能试出来的那种。目前感觉重复性有点点高，没有什么非常让人眼前一新的设计出现。

其中我相当喜欢的一个谜题设计：[spoiler] 通过左右摇摆操控角色在数字键盘上反复横跳以实现输入密码XD [/spoiler]
但是相当可惜不能在这游戏里[spoiler] 通过时间反复摇爆大可乐瓶[/spoiler]

以及通关了才知道为什么叫 gardens between……翻译也是随便的很啊_(:з)∠)_

I had a great time playing this little gem. The overall difficulty of the game is on point. There are some areas where I've thought for a while until I had an "A-HA!" moment.
Love the art style of it and the way how the whole story's been described by the environment.
