jogo bom porém achei muito curto o primeiro capitolo eu terminei com uns 15 minutos mais ou menos e se cada capitolo seguir a mesma linha acho que fica um jogo muito caro pelo tempo que que podemos jogar ele.
fora que tive varios problemas com bugs também, nas primerias tentativas não conseguia me mexer no jogo (andar) depois de ter terminado o primeiro capitolo e ter fechado e aberto o jogo eu comecei a spawnar com metade do corpo no chão impossibilitando eu também a andar (tentei centralizar e varias coisas que não funcionaram) e so depois de um tempo (acho que cheguei a reinstalar ele outra vez) voltou a funcionar

I usually stay away from horror games, but I felt like I had to play at least one horror game in VR before I could say it isn't for me. Well, now I have, and it really isn't.

Now, just because I'm a chicken and quit the game early on isn't why I won't recommend other people this experience.

This game suffers from awkward controls, at least on the Meta Quest 2. You also constantly go out of bounds whenever you teleport jump too close to a wall or large object, and it can at times be hard to jump out of. The last issue I had was motion sickness. I usually don't suffer from motion sickness in VR, but it hit hard in this game.

Another thing is that the game itself just feels slightly outdated, even for a VR title. The whole mission design, objectives, and graphics feel like a really early VR tech demo, not like a real game.

These issues are enough for me not to recommend this game. Especially the out of bounds thing makes this game hard to enjoy, since it makes the only viable movement in the game, the thumbstick walking, which will give you almost instant nausea.

OMG ! Je ne joue pratiquement qu'à des jeux d'horreur et je suis généralement très confortable avec, même des Visage, Madison et compagnie. Du coup j'ai voulu tenter la VR et j'ai foncé sur The Exorcist: Legion... Eh bah... Quand ça a commencé à chahuter, j'ai dû retirer mon casque 4 ou 5 fois en me disant que finalement non, je n'allais pas pouvoir faire ce jeu, enfin j'ai seulement pris le 1er chapitre pour le moment et je ne sais vraiment pas si je vais oser la suite...

Côté horreur et tension, c'est du pur génie. Bien sûr le fait d'être en VR change totalement la donne par rapport à un jeu classique, mais bon sang ce que c'est flippant ! Pour les amateurs de sensations fortes, je recommande vivement ! Pour ceux par contre qui ne sont pas méga confortables avec les jeux d'horreur, fuyez, celui-là va vraiment vous mettre mal ^^ Très bon jeu en tout cas.

Does not work with Quest systems. As other reviews noted the radio does not work in game, preventing the game from progressing past the intro. That issue was noted over 2 years ago and still hasn't been fixed. Controls aren't mapped for Quest systems and can't be changed in game.

Not bad for a 6 year old game. I wouldn't buy it full price (with how short it is) but i can recommend if it's on sale. Works with Quest 2/3 through virtual desktop. Only janky thing was the fact you can't strafe when you have the toolkit out.

Knocked down an item, went out of reach. Had to restart the entire map/play through to complete it which ruined any and all immersion I had on the little map there was. Not saying a small map is a bad thing, since it was just 37 NOK for me, but that's also why that small stop/break of flow ruined the immersion for it.

The game is pretty fun and scary, but ultimately pretty short and only worth it if you buy the game through a steam sale. I managed to do a 100% completion run in less than 8 hours (some idle time in there), so you can get an idea of the dollar per content ratio. This game is not about jump scares and more of the ambiance and a bit of a growing tension as you progress through each case you investigate. The graphics were decent but can feel a bit underwhelming in comparison to other titles out there. Overall, I do recommend checking this horror VR game if you manage to catch it at the right price.

Creepy atmosphere, nice narrative and good scares.
But it definitely has its bugs. For instance:
I performed an exorcism on a woman possessed by an evil crotch demon.
I know this specifically because Waving my crucifix around like the John Wick of demon destroying priest I was, it only effected the womans crotch...region.
So I manned up and slapped their crotch with the power of Christ until the demon blasted and I won.

So yeah. Other than crotch slapping Jesus into a demon. It's a good game, need to play more and just hope it doesn't happen again. Not a fun demon to fight. Trust me, I know.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU OWN QUEST 2!

My fellow Quest 2 owners, The game will NOT let you pass the office area where you have to answer the radio. There is no support to allow the Oculus Quest 2 controllers to interact with it. I've looked high and low for an answer but there is nothing out there to fix it. The studio even put out an "update" in Feb of this year saying they fixed it but IT'S NOT FIXED!!!

This negative review will change once they fix it as this is a game breaking bug. The quest 2 has been out long enough that this should have been addressed. Don't be lazy Devs.

A great VR horror game with great atmosphere. Has some solid jump scares but it is the world it puts you in that is the real fright. The puzzles were not super hard but the mechanics and everything around it made up for it in the end. Each chapter is wholly unique and at no point did I feel like I was treading over the same territory. Honestly just wish it was longer.10/10

First off The game looked very good though and felt very smooth to play, but from what I experienced I cannot recommend this. Every item like the flashlight thing, salt spray, crucifix, etc. they all disappeared when I set them down for a second. Could have been unlucky, but for it to happen 3-4 times in a row was pretty disappointing.

This game says it supports Oculus, that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you get as far as having to interact with a radio and all you can do is pick it up dont buy this game steam will tell you to ♥♥♥♥ yourself even though they false advertised what platforms it supports!!!!

Update: I was able to get a partial refund but I still say do not buy this game unless you own a Vive it does not support Oculus say for being able to walk around the office and not being able to answer the radio to begin the first chapter. Steam needs to change the store page so it reflects that it does not support Oculus.

Horror or scary movies, novels, TV shows etc., are not truly scary IMO. They may be creepy and unsettling at times but never does one actually feel scared. With the advent of VR however this has changed.

This game is not only one of the best VR games I have played but is one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had on a computer, period.

A game like this in VR will make me feel and experience things that I wouldn't once have thought possible. Real fear and excitement yes but also exhilaration, or even power at times, as I stand defiantly facing a demon, my crucifix held aloft my blood running cold!

The only criticism so far is I think the story reveals a bit too much too soon and it would maybe have been better to allow the story to develop more slowly in the course of the investigation.

I hope more people will play this game, not only to support the developers, but because I think one is doing himself a big disservice by missing out on an experience like this. Yeah its literally scary and chilling at times but although a horror game it is also a gaming experience not to be missed.

People will rave about Half Life Alyx but I don't really get that to be honest. Yeah, its impressive in places but I didn't really feel truly immersed in its story or environment as I do with E:L and it didn't produce the impressive roller-coaster range of genuine emotions that this game evokes within me.

I can think of powerful novels, movies, songs etc., but none of them have moved me -and certainly didn't frighten me- quite like this game did. Story driven experiences like this are a whole new medium the possibilities and potential of which are truly mind blowing.

It's one thing to watch a horror movie, but this...

Great work devs. This game does not get the acclaim it deserves.

I think i'm going to love this series of games. I saw the film and it scared the pants off me. This game played in VR is repeating it here. Not the same story line as the films, but shaping up to be just as good.
Very immersive. very creepy sounds in background, nice voices and soundtrack.

I'm very sad. If game would cost 25$ and would be complete, I would be absolutely ok with it. But let me play first level, and tell me there are 4 more, and only available as dlcs for 5 dollars? Guys are you normal? Game is very good, 25 dollars is pretty good price for it (even if I haven't played next chapters), but this system is just very very bad. I will buy dlcs later, and finish the game, but it won't change my decision that you does not deserve positive review (and I never done negative review on steam, you are first).

I know that early VR games used to be very short but.. This is a demo version.
They just sold me a 10 minute DEMO VERSION for money.
Now I have to buy the rest of the game peace by peace or buy "Deluxe" edition (you know, the full game). Maybe the rest of the episodes are way longer and have a proper gameplay. I will refund this and buy a "Deluxe" edition.

lets do a small new review of how the game operates any view on the game will depend on the individual so I don't go into that, plenty of people doing that already, 2022, still one off my favourite VR horror games, lots of replay value with the Achievements and a few puzzles, you can up the resolution with steam slider, always a plus with any game, snap turn, smooth turn, teleport free movement its up to you, comfort setting, I turn that straight off ,free crouch or button crouch, shows to press Y for the original Rift button to talk on radio in your office but on Oculus Rift S its the analogue stick R3, apart from that no problems. Lets hope No 2 is good, no problems running game, Rift S, Ryzen 7 3800, 6800 XT, 32GB Ram 3200 Xmp, Win 10 64.
also ran fine on my older system, Ryzen 7 2700, Vega 56, (also used RX 5700XT),16 GB Ram 2400, Win 10 64.

Chapter 1 does not posses any cheap scares, all the scares are earned in this game. There no cheap jump scares that are undeserving. The scares are amazing, the environment is immersive and gives you chills when strolling through, the music is beyond scary, the voice acting for the evil entities are stunning. It only gets better from this chapter. I would not even consider only playing chapter 1, you should play all the chapters because the story is decent enough for you to want to see what the ending will look like. That might not sound like a selling point, but the story is not as complex and as interesting as I would like. The game play really sells this game, I honestly don't mind the subpar story because of the stellar events that go on in this game. Chapter one is worth it. When talking about time frames it is on the shorter end of all the chapters and feels very fast when you end up beating it, the other chapters in my opinion felt a lot longer. If you do miss this chapter though you are missing a great immersive environment.

Holy Crap! this will scare seven colours of sh*t outta you, I'm not a fan of horror but it was less than two quid in the sale, I couldn't handle it, not gonna refund it but gonna keep it for my friends and family to try if they're up for it (mwahahahaa). a must buy for VR horror fans. 10/10 would soil my britch again

(Keine Spoiler enthalten) Als waschechter und abgebrühter Horrorfreak ist dieses Game bis jetzt das krasseste was ich bis jetzt in VR in diesem Genre gespielt habe. Will heißen : Wer auch nur einen Hauch nicht ganz mit dem Genre warm wird sollte die Finger davon lassen. Hier gibt es keine dicke Wumme sondern eben nur die primitiven Instinkte die einem die mehr oder wenigen verstörenden und / oder ekelhaften Momente aus Urängsten überstehen lassen. Beklemmend ... überraschend und so richtig fies in genau den Momenten wo man es manchmal eben doch nicht nach altem Schema erwartet (wobei man natürlich ein paar Jumpscares vorrausahnen kann)...Chapter 3 und 4 fande ich persönlich richtig derbe episch und gebe zu an manchen Stellen für einige Momente inne gehalten zu haben... und ich denke das ist ein gutes Zeichen für dieses Game wenn selbst die krassen Freaks das eine oder andere mal tief Luft holen müssen :) Die Soundkulisse macht ihren Job selbst dann wenn gerade mal "Ruhe" herrscht und man die Bedrohung immerzu spürt. Besonders gefallen (neben dem eigentlichem Horror) hat mir die "Aufklärung" der Fälle. Des Englischen sollte man teilweise relativ gut mächtig sein aber eigentlich bekommt denke ich jeder in jedem Kapitel durch die Untersuchung der Umgebungen und Gegenstände auch so genug mit. Alleine aufgrund der Atmosphäre die hier nahezu permanent punktet habe ich eine große Hoffnung das uns in Sachen Grusel und Horror noch richtig geile Erfahrungen in Sachen VR erwarten. Grafisch (was VR betrifft) im Gesamtbild absolut in Ordnung und spielt verdammt gerne mit Lichteffeckten sämtlicher Form inkl. der typischen gefühlt gewollten Farbfilterfunktion aufgrund von Settings (sehr gut eingefangen). Da jedes Kapitel richtig gut geworden ist finde ich es schade das nicht noch weitere folgen aber die Zukunft bringt uns wohl noch einiges an Schauder in Sachen VR. Momentan Top 1 in Sachen Horror VR bei mir. 8,5 von 10 meinerseits <3

I am a huge horror game enthusiast. I love me some scares, and I like where it was going, but man... this is the most expensive (and shortest) "demo" I've ever played. Less than 20 min of gameplay (and it was only that long because I like to mess around with items you can pick up for too long).

Read some stuff, pick up some stuff, then a minor scare at the end then done. That's it. Glad I didn't buy this at full price because I'd be super mad at myself for spending that money. I bet the game is actually fun starting on episode 2, but they p***ed me off too hard with this one.

Undoubtably one of the best VR horror experiences. Creepy atmosphere through out, and some real horror moments at times. A mix of exploration and puzzles. It's kinda like your the Sherlock Holmes of the occult world, mixed with Van Helsing. Build your anti occult kit, then go and solve cases and save people from the forces of evil. Very good. Also try Paranormal Activity and A Chair in a Room : Greenwater.

Too short, dont pay more than $5... yes I recommend it but I mean just wait for a steam sale cause $2.50 is more like it. The game is creepy but....spoiler [spoiler] it sorta gets less creepy as it gets along , then the end is wildly dissapointing and lame and not scary. [/spoiler] Fun to show friends, its short maybe 15 minutes?

Perfect for someone who wants to try their courage in VR horror instead of telling you (without ever trying it) that it isnt scary... cause they looked at flat mode gameplay.
