Super fun game! A great little platformer collect-a-thon. Controls feel great too!
This is a sequel to Kiwi 64, which is on itch.io rather than Steam. I recommend giving that one a try or watch a playthrough, because this game continues the story and I was like “what? I’ve never fought this fella before.”
Fun chill little game, well worth the buck! Feels like playing games from my childhood!
10/10 Banjo take notes
A bite sized experience of some really solid n64 era platforming and collecting. I wish it was longer but for the price it's a great time!
Nostalgically charming but oddly unsettling art direction. Simplistic and fun gameplay. Very short.
I love these types of old school games
Bardzo fajna gra inspirowana Super Mario 64. Duża złożoność poziomów i możliwość swobodnego poruszania kamerą to jedne z najlepszych zalet.

i have only been playing for about 35 minutes. genuinely one of the best games ive ever played. largely reccomend, this game is life changing
small 3d platformer but amazing music n vibes
Didn't enjoy, too weird for me i guess
Short but fantastic little platformer.
really cozy game
It's a lovingly crafted diorama that captures all the bitesized highlights of the classic N64 platformers.
The game is quite short, but it's exactly as long as it needs to be. The levels hit that sweet spot where they're large enough to be explored but not so big that you get frustrated with missing collectibles.
The controls are also tight enough that it feels satisfying to just move around and exist, while being lenient with mobility.
I heartily recommend this game for anyone who grew up with games like Banjo-Kazooie and just wants a quick hit of that 90's nostalgia. It does such a good job of capturing the look, feel and sound of that era and it's bursting with love for the source material.
it's fun
cute fun hour/two hours
Pretty good, short and nostalgic
i like super kiwi 64
Absolutely adorable title that pays homage to the Nintendo 64 era of platformers! This game definitely was giving off hardcore "Rare games" vibes. I felt like I was playing Banjo Kazooie! Everything played beautifully smooth and was a lot easier than most platformers from that era (much to my relief haha!) But the only thing I will say is that I wish there was a bit more variety with the music. It all kinda sounded the same. Otherwise, it was great!
I bought this game earlier today and I have beaten five (5) times already, including 2 100% completions of the main game. I am still not tired of it as of writing this. I'll let you know.
Jokes aside, this is a really, REALLY solid 3D platformer with great movement and really incredible vibes ranging from "whimsical and dreamlike" to "surreal and strange" to other stuff I don't wanna spoil (I will say in one point in goes in a sort of cosmic horror-esque direction with a few levels, no jumpscares or anything like, but a rly cool creepy vibe). It's also, for lack a better word, very Vaporwave-y at times, which I quite like! The game is fairly short (those five playthroughs took me just over 3 hours!) but the core gameplay is very, very fun and the movement is among the best I've seen in a 3D platformer to date, so the really solid foundation coupled with the lofi aesthetics are probably gonna keep me comin back even more than the Toree games already do, but bare in mind I'm someone who doesn't mind replaying a small amount of content if that game is really, really good, especially if the game is open-ended and let's me approach it in whatever way I feel like (Super Kiwi is definitely a "sandbox-y" 3D platformer in the vein of other open-ended collectathons)
It also does have time-trials after you've mostly 100% the game if you're into that sort of thing, and there's a story-driven bonus campaign (included with the game automatically) that I haven't really touched too much yet
a solid 9.95/10 game for me, personally. My only major complaint is that it's too short (which is a compliment for a small 3$ indie game imo) and I only deduct 0.05 points bc the ground switches are a little buggy which is a minor gripe

Solid Hour long game if you want to be Nostalgic for retro platformers/collectathon games. The little Kiwi is cute, the controls feel good and the levels are so charmingly designed and fun to play through. There is also a free DLC that addds another half an hour of content.
Super charming game, solid platformer. I really enjoyed the old-school N64 aesthetic. bright visuals and interesting puzzles. great catchy music. i can tell the developer poured some love into this game. I look forward for any future releases from this developer.
Adorable game with excellent controls and an amazing soundtrack. A great throwback to the old platformers, highly recommend if you just want to chill out and have fun!
I want a thousand more hours with this game.
Eh, it's an okay throwback to N64 platformers, but feels very bare bone. The levels are incredibly tiny and sometimes feel like they were supposed to have more moving parts which never got implemented.
A short, charming game that's fun to play and worth the price
This was a very fun mini-collectation game!
Love how this game is super creepy for no reason what so ever.
One of the best games on steam. I wish they added achievements and a few more levels. Music is incredible too. 10/10
Fun way to spend a few bucks and an afternoon. Kiwi controls very nicely.
Short but I loved it
I enjoyed all the time challenges and the music was a good listen, I just wish their was more challenge and a basic CRT/blur filter
One of those games that make me want a "mixed" type for reviews. The game is fine as far as playability goes; the controls are enjoyable (although the key bindings are not shown anywhere as far as I could tell, which made it confusing especially since movement only accepts WASD and not arrow keys) and platforming was very easy. However, I found the game quite bland. Like, I could play through it no problem but, in all honesty, I got the feeling two and a half levels in that I wasn't going to get much out of playing it to the end.
A nice, simple game, but it probably requires a specific type of nostalgia (that I don't have) to get any considerable amount of enjoyment out of.

The Game is very short, but still very cute and good. The movement and controls are very smooth. I would 100% recommend the game :3!
I've backed nostalgic 90's throwback games on Kickstarter that didn't pull off the old N64 feel as eloquently as this game does in 40 minutes. Plays like the smoothly polished version of Banjo-Kazooie and Glover that only exists in your childhood memories and unironically feels nicer to just generally move around and explore than a lot of modern 3D platformers on the market right now. Super Kiwi 64 even understands how spooky this era could feel sometimes by throwing in a few nightmarish skeleton textures here and there and also sending you to the Shadow Temple for a couple minutes.
The DLC is also good. The first level (the cyberpunk tower) is the weakest level in the entire game but it balances things out by sending you to vaporwave cowboy land immediately after.
this felt good to play on Deck and made me feel good playing. its a boiled down feeling of the very first time i played Banjo Kazooie in a cozy bite sized package. lovely time, grab this for a quick nostalgic collectathon experience. now i'm going to go have my pizza rolls and hi-c and watch cartoons to complete my experience.
A nice little N64 3d platformer collectathon like game, very short but sweet
No idea why the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Yes I only paid 2 bucks for this, the controls and movement felt good, and the music in the first level was nice. But that's about it. The levels have no creativity, interesting mechanics, or visual identity, The cutscenes and dialogue were awkward and felt tacked on to the point where I felt like the experience would've been better without them.
In the end, I was just kinda bored during my hour spent with the game. Seems like the nostalgia factor is a big part of the appeal, so if like me you have no nostalgia for that era of 3D platformers, I don't think you'll find this enjoyable.
?
Better than mario 64
Very fun little collectathon. 100%ed it, had a blast through. Very easy(the time challenges were a little bit challenging though)
Short and sweet!
Kiwi
I bought this game more or less on a whim, driven by a wave of nostalgia — and I wasn’t disappointed! The game is really fun and easy to pick up. I had a great time playing it. The different biomes are great as well (special mention to the pirate-themed one, which is especially cool).
WOW what an experience, I came into Super Kiwi 64 expecting to fill a bit of time but instead I filled a void in my soul, Super Kiwi 64 is a masterpiece, indescribable with mere words. I've never felt as much joy as I felt when the credits for this game rolled.
I loved the characters and how the costumes changed as the game progressed, The dialouge and story captivating and immersive. The levels introducing such well designed and intuitive mechanics kept me excited for whats to come. and the music topped it all off, fresh and groovy yet epic when it needs to be.
This game changed my life. I reevaluated my core beliefs, reconsidered whats important in life and I evolved beyond the scope of what I had thought possible
I played this game through family share yet bought it to post this review. If you can spare the change to purchase this game you should without a doubt, Thankyou Super Kiwi 64
All the charm and nostalgia of the collectathon games we loved as kids. Doesn't take long to complete but enjoyable the entire time
Awesome, bite sized game with tight controls
To the millennials: if you have fond memories of the Rare 3D platformer collectathons you will not be disappointed. This game is a super distilled version of those games that gives you the core of what made them so addictive. It is extremely lean and paced much faster than the old games, perfect for getting the nostalgia hit without letting it overstay its welcome. BUY THIS NOW.
Super Kiwi 64 is a short but fantastic love letter to the 64-bit era of gaming. The platforming feels great and is consistently satisfying, and the exploration hits that perfect sweet spot where it never overstays its welcome. The music and overall vibes are outstanding.
The three bonus levels added for free by the developer really pull their weight, turning what initially feels a little too short into an experience that ends at just the right time.
Super Kiwi 64 absolutely nails the classic N64-style atmosphere with its visuals and soundtrack, and it even has those oddly creepy moments that older games were known for (for reasons no one can quite explain).
At $2.99, Super Kiwi 64 is absolutely worth full price, and even more so on sale. I picked up a key for around $1.25. It also ran flawlessly on my LED Steam Deck with no performance issues.
The base game was really fun!
The "DLC" section was really tacked on
This is a solid hour long game to waste time and have fun with
How the f*** is this overwhelmingly positive? This game is utter trash! Who made this? Who actually enjoys these games? Boring as f. An ambitious 15-year-old could make this in a couple of weeks.
Boring, easy levels, super short, uninteresting enemies (or none at all), basically random platform put everywhere, and not very well. Only good part was the control.
This is the last time I trust an "overwhelmingly positive game." This is a 2/10 game, being generous, and I have no idea who thumbs this up.
cute, fun and short kiwi game~
The latin beat of the pirate level kicks ass!
Well what can you say about Super Kiwi 64, the game is an hour long and feels good to play.
It's a perfect small platformer if you're ever in the need for a platformer to play, though for the short runtime I only recommend it on sale.
The game is exactly as advertised. Nothing more, nothing less and I can respect that.
Cute lil game, you get through it in under 2 hours. could use a bit more soundeffects and maybe a winning screen when u collect everything in a level. and steam achievements
Such a nice little game with great controls (was a perfect play for my steam deck) and some really creepy levels. Gonna surely look for more from this dev.
Super Kiwi 64 is a compact, cheerful 3D collectathon that embraces the spirit of late-1990s platformers with sincerity and restraint. Developed and published by Siactro, the game is less concerned with reinventing the genre than with distilling what made classic 3D platformers comforting and fun: readable spaces, simple movement, light exploration, and a steady drip of small rewards. It feels intentionally modest in scope, presenting itself as a relaxed adventure that values curiosity and atmosphere over challenge or spectacle, and that clarity of intent is one of its strongest qualities.
Players take control of a small, long-beaked kiwi bird and are set loose in a handful of compact, interconnected worlds that can be tackled in largely any order. Progression is driven by collecting gears and Powerstones scattered throughout each area, but the game never pressures players to be exhaustive. You can reach the ending without finding everything, while those who enjoy full completion are rewarded with secrets, optional content, and the quiet satisfaction of thorough exploration. This flexible structure makes Super Kiwi 64 feel welcoming rather than demanding, encouraging players to explore because they want to, not because the game insists.
Movement mechanics are intentionally straightforward but pleasantly versatile. The kiwi can jump, glide, cling to walls, and perform a spinning attack, allowing for gentle platforming challenges and small moments of experimentation. While the controls lack the razor-sharp precision of more demanding modern platformers, they are responsive enough to support the game’s laid-back tone. Traversal emphasizes exploration over execution, and most obstacles are forgiving, ensuring that progress is rarely stalled by frustration. The result is a flow that feels casual and comfortable, especially appealing to players who enjoy platforming without high stakes.
Level design reflects this philosophy. Environments are compact but thoughtfully arranged, with vertical layers, hidden ledges, and alternate paths that reward observation rather than speed or mastery. Each world introduces a distinct theme, helping the game avoid visual monotony despite its short length. Secrets are often tucked just out of sight, encouraging players to look around corners, climb walls, or glide across gaps to see what might be hiding nearby. The sense of discovery is subtle but consistent, and it’s this gentle rhythm of “spot something interesting, figure out how to reach it” that defines much of the experience.
Visually, Super Kiwi 64 fully commits to a low-poly aesthetic inspired by early 3D console games. Geometry is simple, textures are clean, and colors are bright and expressive, creating environments that feel playful and readable rather than sparse. This visual style is not used ironically; it’s a genuine homage that prioritizes charm and clarity over nostalgia for its own sake. The presentation pairs well with the soundtrack, which is upbeat and unobtrusive, reinforcing the relaxed, exploratory mood without pushing drama or urgency.
Narrative elements are minimal and largely symbolic. There is little in the way of character development or plot, and the world’s context is left intentionally vague. Rather than feeling unfinished, this absence of narrative weight allows players to project their own sense of adventure onto the journey. The game feels more like a toybox than a storybook, where movement, spaces, and collectibles do the heavy lifting instead of dialogue or cutscenes.
That said, the same simplicity that gives Super Kiwi 64 its charm also defines its limitations. Players looking for complex mechanics, escalating difficulty, or expansive worlds may find the experience too brief or too gentle. Camera behavior can occasionally feel old-fashioned, and the overall challenge level remains low throughout. However, these elements are consistent with the game’s goals, and it never pretends to be something more demanding or elaborate than it is.
Ultimately, Super Kiwi 64 succeeds by embracing a small, focused vision and executing it with care. It is a game about wandering, collecting, and enjoying movement in a friendly space rather than overcoming obstacles or mastering systems. For fans of classic 3D platformers, it offers a warm, nostalgic reminder of a time when games were comfortable to inhabit and easy to enjoy. For newcomers, it serves as a gentle introduction to the genre, proving that even a short, simple adventure can be memorable when crafted with personality and intention.
Rating: 10/10
Merci !
DISCLAIMER: One of the collectable gems seems to be glitched (or has a bizarrely specific and unclear activation requirement) in the 8th level. It involves flags, and if you find yourself asking if you're doing what you're supposed to, yes, you probably are, but it just doesn't spawn sometimes. I had to do it at least 10 times before it finally appeared.
Other than that one hair-pulling frustration, this game is great. The controls feel fantastic, the level design is fun and varied, the Banjo-Kazooie inspired N64 aesthetic is endearing, and the game is nice and short. The Doomsday expansion isn't quite as good, but it's still worth going through, and as you can see from my total playtime you can finish both in under 90 minutes.
Loved this brief but charming 3D platformer with great controls and level design.
love it, especially the spooky levels.
Petit jeux sympa.
It's like the Mario one but good
its bird that happens to be kiwi shaped, do i recommend this game. sure yeah, its good thumbs up from me. thumbs up for everyone you should tots play it fr yuh gang
kiwi birdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
cool kiwi
Very short and sweet, big fan <3
Really neat little game! I 100%ed it in just over 3 hours, but considering it's cheap it's well worth it!
Very fun and cute little platformer that take great inspiration from Super Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie. The controls are very tight and fluid, the style is inspired and the soundtrack is good.
Such a cute and fun little game!
Really enjoyed How the movement and platforming feels, Didn't have any trouble at all while playing!
nice
Great game with top notch controls. Siactro is the goat.
What a wonderful little game! It's been on my wishlist for quite some time, so I finally decided to purchase it. There's lots to love here! The controls are fluid. The puzzles are fun and naturally progress throughout the game. Bonus secrets hidden throughout let you use different character models. Apart from the catchy soundtrack, there's even some voice acting! What an absolute gem! Well worth the money and hour-ish of my time.
I'm glad a buddy of mine managed to convince me to try this game again because holy hell is this a fun ass platformer to play. I hope we get another like it in the future.
Krátkej návrat do dětství kdy člověk blástil Račety a Jak & Dextry a měl vajb.
This cute, Mario 64–esque 3D platformer was a lot of fun to play. It wasn’t very difficult, which made it feel relaxing rather than frustrating. I enjoyed all of the content and appreciated the game’s lighthearted, charming style.
It's super!
64/10
great game 11/10
kiwi go brrrrr
Fun game. 8.5/10
A very chill and quite short platformer game. Worth it, especially on sale (but the full price isn't bad either). It also works well with a PS controller, at least if you enable Steam's input layer.
A bite-sized collectathon! Feels like a game that totally would have released on the N64. The platforming is not difficult, and it's fun to glide around and find all the secrets. Very much felt like a love letter to Banjo-Kazooie! Loved it so much. The extra levels are great too and worth playing!
good
AWESOME GAME HERE! I hope a sequel comes because this really encapsulates the feel of Banjo-Kazooie and I would love to see more of this in an even more fleshed out way!
Fajne
Simple and short, all the while to make sure this game knows what it is to have a fun jolly time. Worth the nostalgic snack.
nice game had me fun with it
short but fun 3D platformer. definitley a lot better than macbat. definitely worth buying on sale.
10/10
such a cute and comfy experience! worth the money for sure
