Ha sido un auténtico placer jugar una versión más enriquecida del clásico juego Flash Player que jugaba cuando tenía unos 10 años.
Este videojuego tiene estrategia constante. Es muy importante elegir el tipo de cañón, como mejorarlo, que habilidades usar o no, estar atento a recargar el vapor para que sigan disparando.....
Estrategia tower defense con gestión y variedad, simplemente arte.
La trama es cierto que es muy floja, pero tampoco esperaba mucho de ella (la mitad de los diálogos dan ganas de saltárselos).

-Unbalanced missions (especially missions for special/unique turrets-ONLY rng decides if you win or no, and you have to repeat the mission for several times just to achieve perfect hits with turret that is extemely limited), game is not about skill at all-pure lottery.
-Game is JUST mobile port with slight changes-NOT improvements, changes. And changes not for the better:
1) translation are messed up and double text can be seen at every stage of the game which looks ugly and literally makes itharder to understand anything.
2) Mission are bugged and sometimes it prevents to progress further (completing special mission(s) for unique turrets is very often NOT seen by the game and prevents from collecting reward and finishing quest)
3) Poor animation that was not adjusted for the PC (Game was originally mainly a mobile title, its straight up copy paste with some small additions but graphics were completly untouched which gives (negative) results)
4)Progression-You can leave WHOLE story behind and as long as you have enough resources you can go straight up to hardest parts of the game.
-Player HAS TO wait for several minutes in order to grind resources and parts needed to upgrade turrets or town... thats pathetic for a fact that its a PAID game.
-Whole game is dead:
1) No updates
2) No activity on game discussions/game hub
3) No news from the devs, even about ANY bug fixes which are clearly needed
4) No response from support when it comes to game breaking bugs or bugs preventing further progress

love it, used to play the original on unblocked games n stuff, kinda miss the old gameplay of actually building and upgrading the towers mid level but its still good either way, would be cool to have a "legacy" level or something with the old gameplay.
Steampunk Tower 2 is a nice, casual game with some cool ideas and a good presentation, but I wouldn’t buy it at full price and would instead wishlist it and grab it on sale like I did for 23,20 kr, which also reminded me of playing the original flash version years ago.
You manage your base, upgrade towers, conquer territories, and slowly build up your forces. The art style and soundtrack fit the steampunk setting well, and it’s easy to understand and enjoyable in short sessions. It feels polished, runs smoothly, and removes most of the annoying mobile elements like in-game ads or microtransactions.
Still, you can’t escape the fact that it plays like a mobile game brought to PC. The missions get repetitive, the management layer is shallow, and there’s little real strategy once you get used to it. It’s entertaining for a few hours and satisfying in a casual way, but you’ll quickly notice its mobile roots showing through.
I want to give it a positive review but the balance on some of the levels is completely broken.
I keep on coming back to this game now and again.
Lots of fun, whist there was a more sophisticated new version of the game.

最终boss做的个什么玩意，太难了，前面没有卡关了，最终boss卡了我5，6个小时，试了差不多4，50次才通，还是丝血通关的，太恶心了吧！！！需要尝试次数太多了，前面挑战关也有几个难的，尝试次数也没超过3，4次，就这个鬼最终关，试了这么多次，你垃圾制作组会不会设计难度曲线啊，最后一关陡然难那么多，简直恶心死人！
If you played the original flash game, this sequel is sure to bring back memories.
The addition of a campaign and management of your base is a nice touch.
Many more turrets, enemy types and combination of weak points make every run unique.

1) Долго идет обучение и во время него постоянно диктор говорит что нужно сделать , куда нажать , что построить и купить. Просто раздражает, как с ребенком нянькаются.
2) Первая половина игры до банальности простая и однообразная, одинаковые уровни с обнообразными волнами противников с неспешным появлением более сильных юнитов. Думал уже удалить игру. Но вторая половина игры резко стала неимоверно жесткой, но вполне проходимой с использованием супер способностей. Разработчики решили закидывать уровни огромным количеством сильных юнитов. Не хватает плавного нарастания сложности на уровнях.
3) Боссы не особо сложные, проходятся обычно с первой попытки. Финального босса раскусил с третьего захода.
4) Экономика для галочки. Нужно постоянно ждать , собирать налоги, покупать кристаллы или получать всё это после битв.
Итого 15 довольно однообразных часов проведенных в игре не оставили никакого удовлетворения от времени проведенного за компьютером.
Let me make one thing clear. This is a mobile game port, but the cash shop, the ads and (most) of the timers have been removed. You're buying this game, it was to be expected.
But it still a mobile game with the hooks that keep you playing
Now, onto the gameplay. It's quite different from the original Steampunk Tower. For one, you don't build/upgrade your towers in the levels, you do that at your base.
Your base is where everythign is. This is where money is periodically produced, and also where you can make towers.
To buy towers you need Etherium and a free slot in your storage. Then you can upgrade the turrets by giving them "details" (that you can randomly get from levels) to fill a progress bar. This is essentially a "feed your pet to make it stronger system".
At certain thresholds, you unlock upgrades that cost money. Eventually, you unlock a tier upgrade. These upgrade give use boosts to your towers stats, but require a special to buy. Said part is made in a factory somewhere on the level map, and requires Etherium to buy and then you'll need to wait up to 3mins for it to arrive at base.
You need to do this for each individual turret. The Steam tower also needs Detail to have its upgrades unlocked, but it doesn't need special parts.
This system means that you HAVE to grind like hell to get the better tower. Tower that you will need for the end of the game mind you.
How do you grind all that? Well, you have to look at the level map. The map is where you will find the factories for the special parts, cities you can send agents to to gain Etherium and the levels. You don't have access to all the map at first, you need to pay to unlock chunks of it.
To grind out details, Etherium and money, you can play some of the side levels.
The side levels are open only for one playthrough and will re-open one at a time every 12 minutes OF GAME TIME. You can't simply close the game and wait, no you have to leave the game running in the background for a side level to re-open so you can get some resources.
What I just described you is the core loop of the game. It is not fun, but with how much you have to do, you don't realise it until you finished it. Steampunk Tower 2 is a botched PC version of a mobile game made to keep you addicted.
I don't recommend this game. At all.

The original is one of my favorite games on flash, and somehow this one was even better!
Even though I lost my progress from a malfunction, I managed to beat the game, and boy, was it fun!
I would recommend this game, even though it can be grindy at some times, you will enjoy it!

It's a little grindy but there is a lot of different enemies and the steampunk is cool.
Возможно не лучшая игра в своём виде, но поиграть в неё точно стоит. Она отличается от всех TD игр своей механикой "Башни", хоть моментами игра становиться частичной фармилкой денег и Эрририума, менее увлекательной её это не делает.
Сюжет здесь простой и понятый, но хотелось бы больше проработки и сюжетного взаимодействия с персонажами.
По итогу поиграть в неё однозначно рекомендую, своих денег она определённо стоит.

100% мобильная др*****ня для отсталых, обучение где вам не дают контроль и указывают кнопку на которую нужно нажать не заканчивается по крайней мере пол часа, дальше незнаю, психанул и и закрыл игру, потом остыл и решил попробовать поиграть дальше, но сохранение не загружается.
Прикольная игра, даже сюжет есть, но рекомендовать не буду!

Bought this off Humble Games for a fiver. Didn't think too much of it, to tell the truth when I bought it. However 37.5 hours later am I wrong and happy to be wrong as well. This is basically a real time xcom on a part of Europe. The enemies arent the Aliens, they are a cult that somehow subues people through some chemical substance, and everyone else in Europe tries to kick them out of the areas you control with you as a "Glorious Leader" of sorts. To be succesful in this game you have to put a lot of time in it, understand how the game works, muddle through some easy levels so that the tax coffers replenish, until you have enough to go fight. You need money in this game. After a while, near the end game, even the best tower will not be able to hold their own against tanks, walkers flyers zeppelin missile launchers and the like. You 'd have to have big bertha (or in this case the PARIS GUN -look it up if you don't know) with shots fired ( For most difficult opponents where you die a lot shoot over 20 shots at them). At 800 a shot each, this will be expensive so, expand thourhgout the map to have enough resources so that you can progress through the campaign levels (in red). I failed miserably at the blue missions. Couldn't get a single one of them. Even so, even as a complete loser, by managing tax coffer money and taking time to always update the towa guns to their maximum level possible at the time -until they can't be upgraded no more- I managed to capture the game map, have a lot of money for upgrades, and defeat the cult. Right now I am fighting against a bucketwheel excavator ( I hope some youtube chanel made a how to deafeat this) and (as usual) am losing badly. I will let this cool for a while even if I am very close to the end of this game. Slow and steady is the motto you should have in mind when you play this game. DEFFINITELY WORTH A FIVER. More than that, I don't know. It gave me some David weber vibes, with your defense tower braving waves after waves of enemies while a far away mega gun blasts them to smithereens. If only they were centauroids like in David Weber's Aldenata series. If you don't know it look it up and even read the first book fer free. Won't disappoint. Ok. Buy this game. Treat it as a real time xcom. Don't mind the plot too much. Be wary of the upgrades since most of the time the ones you want are occupied by the cult and you have to drive them off using your towa of powa. Watching the trains as they carry the gun pieces to your secret base is worth the price of admition, I think. If you can get it for a fiver, go for it, IF YOU HAVE PATIENCE AND A LOT OF TIME TO SPARE. If you do, you will be playing a real time xcom where you control turrets instead of troopers. Blast " ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER" by Jimi Hendrix, if anything goes south, for encouragement and soon you 'll have 400 wins in your record. I d buy that for a dolla, dolla dolla dolla dolla.
Great potential and terrible implementation in particular in-game mechanis and economy.

It's great if you like the defend the home base versus the enemy then this is a solid game, it's actually from the flash game era and made into a complete experience as a sequel!
17 solid hours of gameplay (I'm not a completionist, but I do many sidequests if they're fun, I usually take 40 hours in AAA titles) for 8 USD is a great deal. The game is refined, uses novel concepts, and adds to them with intuitive but complex challenges.
The best games are easy to learn and impossible to master - and this game fulfills that criteria.
Also, I don't care about lore - but it looked like it had some dope lore.

played this games on mobile phone several years ago.
At that time, it impressed me so much that I become addicted to it for several days.
Now, although I've found that it indeed have lots of flaws, its still a reminder of my childhood.
Absolutely do not buy this game.
It is incredibly buggy with multiple achievements not triggering. Also - at a certain point - the game because unplayable without you buying a s h i t load of bonuses/powerups. To make matters worse - if you find yourself at the point where I'm at - where you have 2 missions left - but no money - you have to wait for your residences to generate money which they do every 3 mins. And of course you have to click every 3 mins. So that's my life for the next hour so I can buy powerups to survive the last 2 missions.
So looking forward to putting down this crap game. DreamGate sucks.
Tried the only community layout for the Deck and it gets stuck at the end of the tutorial mission.

Steampunk Tower 2 is a tower defense game, with a twist. You don't move at all. You're a battle tower, deployed by a hover carrier into an area that you have to build yourself up from just a few simple cannons to an indomitable multi-level fortress against all sorts of assaults by aerial and ground units. You can choose form a variety of weapons, each specialized against a certain type of opponent. You also do a bit of resource management where you need to obtain gold and crystals to power up. You can even send some of your agents to obtain extra resources... if you send the right one(s). However, the game's difficulty level was a bit uneven, until you figure out which weapons are good against which enemies. In between battles, you need to build your home "hidden steampunk city" which also serves as your tech upgrades and unlock more powerful weapons and tower upgrades.
However, this is where the game's freemium origins starts to show: the original Steampunk Tower was a flash game, and the devs clearly drew play mechanics from the free to play mobile games instead of a traditional buy-and-play game model, as many of the mechanics, such as "wait for cities to generate revenue, collect them, and use that to upgrade" are from F2P games where they want to limit the free battles you can play, except there should be no such limit, so it starts to feel a bit frustrating.
The world is a bit of a meh, as it drew inspiration from history, but also a bit of cliche history.
The bosses, on the other hand, are quite inventful and looks sufficiently steampunk-ish.
All in all, it's worth a try, if only for the novelty factor.

Simple interesting and relaxing tower defense game!
Ich finde es zu schwer und man hat zu wenige Einflussmöglichkeiten. Es geht eher um Vorbereitung als um den Kampf selbst. Es ist ok und ich schwanke zwischen ja und nein. Würde 3 von 5 Punkten vergeben, aber es nicht nochmal kaufen
Game is really tedioous and grindy. Second half of the game is unbelievably prolonged by dozens of same missions. By that time yoou already have all the towers and the upgrades, so oyu just farm the missions over and over. Challenge missions are extremely hard, unless youo follow the guide to the very milisecond youre focked. Bosses and big fight are telegraphing their special moves very poorly so you never know which towers supershot to use.
Steampunk + Turrets defense
This is a twist on your good old TD game, where you do not place tons of tower for strategic path, but instead you upgrade your turrets, position them, reload them while needed
Pros :
1) A number of tower to try out
2) A number of "Upgrade paths" to be taken...eventhough some are definitely better than others
3) A lot of missions to playthrough
4) There's an "Auto-battle" if you previously completed the level
5) Challenge mode, Boss fight
6) An okay number of achievements ( 30)
7) The way you gather your resources can be a "Double edge sword", it's fine i guess...
8) Buffs, Powerups to use just in case you can't beat the level.
Cons:
1) So about the double edge sword thingy...is that, most of the time you need to just sit down n wait for your "taxes " , "cargo , train" to arrive so you get extra coins / ehtrium/ loot to progress, upgrades, but luckily the waiting time are fine, you can just sit down, let it run afk, then "Get Rich " LUL .... good thing about it is that you don't need to "farm it like a farmer"
2) Some of the Challenge mode are real hard, and annoying, well, at least they din't cost anything to restart, unlike the boss fight...
3) Well, I am being nitpicking since i am a "Completionist" for some game that are 100% able, the problem is that, the game does not have a counter on your overall progression on the "Use specific power up to kill number of enemy part"
Overall, if you like TD games, steampunk style, explosions n bullets, boss fight, This is a fun game to get on a Discount

Between the 2-bit Russian everyone of these small developers seems to hire for their English (please devs out there, stop using google translate! There are plenty of gamers willing to volunteer to proof read your crappy English!) and the sexually frustrated artists, I assume this as every character in the game looks like a girl straight out of manga (I love Lady Dark) including all the males!
The game isnt all bad, good enough story, easy enough missions if you invest in your turrets as much as you can before progressing and, some damn hard if not impossible challanges?
All and all it is pretty much what it says on the can and worth the €8,- they are charging. Though if you can get it at discount I highly recommend holding out for that.

El juego tiene una historia muy buena y diferente a lo que vemos hoy en día, puede ser un poco repetitivo pero eso no le quita su aspecto original. Los Jefes toman muy bien su papel dentro del juego empezando por su épico diseño, la banda sonora y sus habilidades te podrán asombrar. Tambien la variedad de torretas que hay y sus ataques especiales son muy buenos. Ya he jugado las 3 entregas que descubri de este juego y sigue siendo retador.

It's ok. Definitely some missed potential here but still a fun game.
The good:
- Quite polished visually.
The bad:
- Tons of mindless dialogue you need to click through after each story mission.
- Almost everything is level-gated (forcing you to complete the story to unlock upper level buildings, towers and such)
- Tower upgrades are limited to adding HP and adding extra floors (this could have been SO much deeper - like, maybe some HP regen or floating mines, or other little perks which you could unlock by upgrading your tower)
- Very little depth to the combat overall - at a certain point you unlock rocket towers and it becomes pretty mindless with the exception of the last boss and a couple challenge levels.
- Would be nice to have a X3 and X4 speed to get through the grind of unlocking all the factories for the first time.
- Also I made the mistake of doing the endless survival level before the difficulty ramped up and I got really far. Now that I have finished the campaign it's almost impossible to get beyond what I had previously done even though all my towers are maxed out. Just feels like the balancing on the endless level needs tweaking.

The only thing positive about this game is its steampunk aesthetics. Gameplay-wise, it's pretty boring. New towers and improvements are too restrictive because they always have level requirements, which can only be decently obtained from the main quests. Besides, the upgrades are pretty lazy like +10% fire rate, + 10 ammo, bla bla bla. Difficulty is more on the easier side, it's more grindy than tactical. Wouldn't recommend.

Но после ее покупки и 30 минут в игре хочется её вернуть.
Игра не так уж и плоха и может затянуть на 1-2 часа, но с последующим прохождением всё больше бесят рутинные действия, мобильные составляющие игры и деревянные текстуры. После достаточного открытия карты, вам тупо требуется проходить однообразные квесты, рутинно заказывать ресурсы и однообразно прокачивать турельки.
Покупать ТОЛЬКО со скидкой и ТОЛЬКО при большом желании.

It has some decent aspects and some bad aspects and overall the bad aspects ruin the fun. It feels way too much like a freemium game. Its way too easy to imagine being asked to pay to get more in game currency, speed up a timer, or purchase a super weapon charge. As it is you will end up having to sit there just waiting sooner or later.
Too simple and not balanced
Why I don't recommend it:
* F2P mechanics in a game you pay for. You have to wait for supplies, wait for material. For example, you beat a territory and claim the material. Now you have to wait a few minutes for it to arrive at your base.
* The difficulty is extremely uneven. Some levels are a cakewalk and some are unfairly difficulty right after each other.
* Too simple, the mechanics in the game are too simple. I played and got all the achievement hoping for something different near the end, but nope. The thing you're doing in the beginning is what you'll do at the end.
* To grindy. Once again, I feel like i'm playing a F2P game with how the currency and level progression are achieved.

This game was very buggy and unplayable. Long Loading screens for no reason.

Having played the original flash game and the mobile game years ago this honestly was not as good as either.
This game becomes very, very repetitive after a while with the boss fights being the only somewhat refreshing experiences as you progress through the story. In addition to that there is a lot of broken English and poor grammar here and there. The story is also completely bland and the game would do better with out it.
On the plus side however this game does have a good soundtrack and the aesthetics are not too bad either.

- How you progress in the game is more determined by out of battle money management than anything else
- Frequent grammatical mistakes during text interactions which make the story even worse

- Certain features such as the economy and production mechanics of the game make it feel like a mobile game ported to PC
Overall this game is not worth buying as it is repetitive, somewhat irritating to read and a chore to finish in a way for the aforementioned reasons.
Steampunk Tower 2 would have been better if it had been more like its predecessors in the series, since they were simpler due to not having an unnecessary amount of story and economic management and better for it as well. Finally the game could have been shorter as well.

Геймплэй и геймдизайн отличный, пока вы не апнтие максимальный уровень. Сюжет до середины игры отличный, но потом начинается пропаганда преступности, безработицы и бедности.
Great game for the price!
начало бодренькое, прокачка не утруждает. а потом когда всё прокачено и ты чувствуешь свой потолок, игрушка начинает напрягать... вообщем до конца я не прошёл.
The story is so ♥♥♥♥ i almost refunded the game.
I wanna play, give me the option to disable the story completely.
An interesting twist on the tower defense genre, with some elements of building and resourc management.
Seems like a (good) port of a mobile game to me, but it's not that bad.
My only real feedback is this:
- Towers should be more clear about what upgrades they have during a mission. You have to click and look at it, kind of annoying.
- All of the animations/art could be better. It feels like a port of a Newgrounds flash game, though I do love the steampunk aesthetic. The art is currently pretty good though, but a lot of the animations feel basic.
- I noticed (mainly during the tutorial) lots of bad grammar/broken english. Not sure if this is an oversight or bad translation though.
- The notification for a new unit spawning is way too big, and dismisses way too slowly. Make it a bit smaller and let me manually dismiss it.
- Turrets should be movable if one is in the path (due to ammo resupplying). Isn't this supposed to be a 3D tower?
Overall though, I do recommend the game if you get it on sale for like $5 or less. Good time killer.
I liked the original Flash game years ago but the sequel adds a ton of grinding (including real-life timers for getting resources) and a story that is very dull but requires clicking through pages and pages of dialogue after every mission to progress.
Great TD. Good time killer.
