Even if you save Penny and collect all the pennies the government has already decided to terminate all pennies. Therefore they probably have magic the witch needs, but don't trust her. Save Penny.

It's surprising that this short platformer is actually fun to play. It has the appearance of hastily-doodled sketches all taped together, including the floors and walls. But the controls and movements are reasonably tight and consistent, and the gameplay is frantic enough--full of double jumps, wall jumps and roll attacks. You play as a little, pink kitten, trapped in the pipe and toilet filled liminal spaces between walls and floors, fighting ghost and zombie cats, rescuing fairies, collecting ancient pennies, over a background of Japanese ghost music. It may be very amateur looking, but it's worth 1.49 to 2.99 for the entertainment.

This game is perfect for those seeking a brief and simple platformer experience, taking on the role of an adorable feline character collecting coins. While lacking a narrative, this absence allows for seamless transitions in and out of gameplay. With a total of 19 levels, completion can be achieved in approximately an hour, depending on one's platforming abilities. The controls are user-friendly and responsive, enabling players to effortlessly dash, jump, and double-jump their way through each level. Along the way, players will gather coins, locate large keys to unlock doors, rescue humans, and confront enemies such as zombie cats, mummy mice, and flying vampire cats/bats. There are two methods to defeat these spooky/cutesy foes: jumping on them or dashing into them. I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Not fun as a platformer, no challenge as a puzzler.
Spooky Cats is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is a craptastic 2D retro pixel/MS-Paint platformer with a cat theme, but a badly drawn blob is a badly drawn blob. As far as platformers go this is terrible, no surprises there, you can double jump and you can dash. Collect the coins, dash into enemy cats to kill them, this really is uninspired shovelware, but what should we expect from crappy mobile apps being foisted on Steam as cash grabs?
From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
The artwork here is terrible, it's a blend of old retro pixel "art" used as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics, and some of the most amateurish MS-Paint style drawings I've ever hurt my eyes on. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can do graphics properly, or lack of talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result of these decisions.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the mobile app unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone.
Some of the defects in the mobile app can be attributed to the poor choice of using the Construct 3 toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's worse than GameMaker Studio!). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine.
These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this mobile app was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the mobile app. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the mobile app... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the mobile app just has a couple of players every week running up the mobile app and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is $3 USD, on app stores, it's $1. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a THREE TIMES THE PRICE for a cheap mobile app just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this is a mobile app, is priced to insult and gouge PC gamers, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend. Just who do they think we are?
To be taken on a discount. Short but nice game. The advantage is that there are cards.

最後のボスの倒し方だけがどうしても分からず、他者の動画を観て解決しました。

マ○オで言うテ○サみたいな白い猫のオバケは倒せないので注意。マ○オと違って見つめ合っても普通に襲ってきます。

猫ちゃんのゲームなのですがタイトルの「Spooky」（不気味）の通り、そういう雰囲気のゲームです。
あまり可愛い雰囲気を想像するとコレジャナイ感だと思いますので、スクショやトレーラーを良く見た上で購入判断をしましょう。
私は正直テ○サみたいな猫がいっぱい居る地帯、少し気持ち悪く感じました。[strike]ゲームの趣旨的には正しいと思います。[/strike]
セール時で100円以下で購入出来ましたので、ボリューム的にセール購入がオススメ。
ただ製作者に対する熱意を見出せるのであれば、フルプライス購入でもギリ有りなボリュームなのかな……と、言った感じです。
サクッと最後までプレイ出来ましたので、一応オススメにしておきます。

Steam DeckではProtonを変えても起動しなかった。Protondbに書かれているPC用Protonの起動オプションを書いてもダメだった。

It looks ugly and controls are clunky and there is nothing really original or unique in the gameplay but I still enjoyed my hour I spent with it.
Cute little kitty puzzle game.
Great game for people who are not good at platformers (I am one of them), and who can make the room with the PC screen completely dark. Some sections are moderately challenging, if you want to reach every coin. Mostly it's relaxing though, the difficulty just high enough to keep things from getting boring.
Recommended for casual players. NOT recommended for people who are good at 2D platformers.

Привет-привет, сегодня у нас весьма неоднозначный продукт на обзоре, про всяких "милых" котиков в мрачном месте. В общем что-то странное. Пойдемте расскажу, что да как!

Когда-то давно я рассматривал игры от Russpuppy, и что тогда, что сейчас все игры в которые мне доводилось играть были классные, но вот эта игра мне не зашла что-то. Сейчас я в своей излюбленной форме расскажу почему так вышло:

[*] Цена - 79 монет Петра Великого надо отвалить за это творение. Я ее взял за половину стоимости и сейчас жалею об этом.
[*] Gameplay - я не понимаю смысла этой игры. Во-первых нет русского языка, это обламывает. Во-вторых, все что вам нужно делать - это бегать и прыгать за розового кота, по мере необходимости надо устраивать взбучку котам зомби (или мумиям или вампирам) в стиле Марио или Соника (WFT 2????). Уровней не шибко много и они мало чем отличаются друг от друга. В одном надо найти ребенка и отнести его к его духу (WTF???), в другом надо найти ключ и тем самым открыть себе дорогу на следующий уровень. Ах да, монетки. Наш котяра любит пенсы, так что не забывайте их собирать иначе ФИНАЛЬНОГО БОССА вам не видать.
[*] Графон - не цепляет. Все просто как банка тушенки, так еще и мрачно. Скрины к игре в вашем распоряжении. Стрёмно это все как-то...
[*] Музыка - есть три трека, и они весьма не плохие, можно послушать, но они короткие и быстро надоедают. Про звуки к игре (смерти врагом монеткам и бои главного героя) я вообще молчу. Это надо попробовать разок и осознать, что кто-то же их создал. Жуть

Понимаю, что обзор получился больше на эмоциях чем по факту, но тем не менее. Вам интересно потратить 30-45 минут жизни на игру где надо бродить туда сюда в поисках ключевых предметов или же просто тупо в конец карты, при этом слушать мерзкие звуки от всего чего не коснись? Так еще и отдать за это 79 деревянных? Может быть кому-то и нравится такое, о вкусах не говорю, но как игра - это объективно короткая, мрачная, не цепляющая поделка. Люди довольны, не понимаю чем. Я не советую. До свидания!

Fun little platformer that I stumbled upon with a steam badge coupon :p
Took about 30 mins to beat it. Super cute vibes, doesn't take itself too seriously. Ending is a bit abrupt and points don't really matter lol. Recommend if you're looking for something quick and casual

Spooky Cats is a slow-paced platformer in an underlit environment. It never gets very complicated, and takes about 1-2 hours to complete. And cats!

НИКОМУ НЕ СОВЕТУЮ ПОКУПАТЬ ЭТО ГОВНО!!! Бездарная поделка, сделанная на отъебись из говна и палок кривыми руками из жопы! Ужасная стилизация, отвратительное управление и конченые хитбоксы! Игра не доставляет ни капли удовольствия, зато БЕСИТ на деньги и даже с избытком! Не покупайте даже по скидке, поищите что получше
levels are extremely repetitive and i hate that its so hard to see anything in level. It plays decent and functions adequately but not worth the time. i was at end very quickly. I have to say, i think its best to avoid Russpuppy games.
I have not played a Platform Game since Earthworm Jim 2 on the PS1. This game so far has been fun and the mechanics work well.

Actually quite fun, glad i got the 50% off voucher from crafting a badge because i unironically enjoyed this game the controls are a little janky but for a game I spent £1 absolute banger must play game tbh, the story line is amazing it was like watching Shakespeare's work come to life, the graphics are beautiful I played this with RTX on and honestly it looks the same as real life, lastly the animations are outstanding they have the fluidity and appeal of a Pixar film. One last thing the soundtrack of this game is of the highest quality, the ambience music that plays while in the haunted mansion is very chilling and then in the action parts there is the most epic rock music with a guitar riff that is like no other. 10/10 Please buy this amazing game!

Cute platformer for a kitty lover, very easy to beat. I would easily abandon any platformer and not finish the game if the control sucks but this has solid control, even mentioned as only partial controller support (I'm using Xbox controller).
firs u no need kill all green or white cat to clear stage, just need find easy way to win all game.
money just need to unlock boss, i just die 10+- time to finish all stage. u cant kill ghost cat with red eyes. no skin, no shop just play game as cat. easy level. 50min to finish this. but its cheap. i bought it with discount steam level for 0,72 usd. yea just likeit and i want uninstall again because i didnt want play same level.

I mean, it's a platformer, but not a very good one. I personally think it's just not worth it. Not worth my time and not worth my money.
-You can play as a cat (20/20)
-You don't have a lot of cat-like abilities - you could replace the cat sprites with anything else and the game wouldn't lose anything. (0/20)
-It's a little bit cute (5/20)
-The game has an extremely low level of polish. It looks and plays like someone followed a "my first platformer" tutorial and shipped it. (0/20)
-It's not very fun. It's a rudimentary platformer that borders on tedious. I could see it being enjoyable for small children who need a distraction, but as a game it's not good. (0/20)
Overall: 25/100. It feels like a kid's game--made by kids, for kids. If that's what you're looking for (and you don't mind super-basic and tedious platformer gameplay), go ahead. Otherwise, hopefully this review will scare you away.

Cuando juego siento que soy un asesino a sangre fría que va matando gatos y agarrando el dinero de sus familias así k es el mejor juego de universo universal y punto.
