This game can be fun and engaging but it has major issues.
I wanted to build a station because that was what appealed to me but my first try on normal difficulty ended quickly because i got swarmed by enemy robots before i had time to research some point defense structures my bad i guessed, i need to learn on a lower difficulty i supposed ...

My second attempt on the lowest difficulty got more successful i managed to grow to a somewhat succesfull medical and refueling station with some fighters for point defence. Everything was fine until i got my first robot derelict wich started spawning endless robot fighters, i had to board it to shut it down. This little stunt landed half my 11 crewmembers in the medbay. This was fine until they started to appear with a regularity that i could'nt hope to match, my crew didnt have time to recuperate and was eventually torn to pieces when three appeared in my system in quick succession. If this is the lowest difficulty what is the highest...

I suppose i could have prevented those encouters by striking at their main base but i never had the opportunity because my crew was in the hospital all the time for some "unknown" reason... You also can't rush it because your crew cannot hit the side of a barn at the beginning...

I could turn off those enemies but enemy diversity is already really really low... a solution would be to cap the number of fighters spawned by robot derelicts for example only three on lowest difficulty and as it is on the highest so people who want a challenge can "enjoy" it.

I really think this game could be great but it needs to see it's difficulty at least modified there is no reason to get this carclown amount of enemies on the supposed lowest difficulty.

There is also some big ui and some crew controls problem, it would really be great if the energy production of solar panel was more clearly shown, energy consumption could also benefit from more clarity.

I am a bit disapointed that this is the state of the game after six years of being in early access but i really hope that the devs can bring it the rest of the way for it to be a great game.

For now i can't recommend it, i'll check ont it in a few updates to see if it has improved

I absolutely love this game, With very similar gameplay to Rimworld, this is one the Best "ant colony" type games out there, and one of the few where your "base" is a moving space ship or space station...

I have been playing this game since it first began and it keeps getting better with active, persistant updates, and devs who somewhat listen to the player base. It isn't pretty but The ship building is pretty in depth and customizable even though I usually end up with a min/maxed square box to hold all the "ants" I've rescued along the way...

I will be the first to mention that it has it's flaws with the main issue is that it gets really boring toward endgame and needs a way for your maxed ship and crew to move forward into a new more challenging galaxy or respawning resources and random events to break the monotony of chasing resources to stay alive, but is still currently one of my goto games for a few hours until there's nothing left to do or you run out of resources in the galaxy and all your people die as a result.

But it is still quite fun to start and play a new game until you can't bear it anymore and totally worth picking up if you want a really good micro-management "ant colony" in space type game. So I highly recommend it for what it is..

On paper I should love this game. I love the genre, games like Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress, Ostranauts, Oxygen Not Included, Delta V, Against the Storm. I LOVE the space exploration fantasy, decision making, finding ships, diplomacy, derelict ships, anomalies, strange new worlds, y'know, doing the whole Star Trek thing.

But Space Haven is missing it. I find myself frustrated by the resource game. The early game is a slog, just waiting in 4X speed, watching my crew salvage and refine. The days are short so a third of that time is also spent watching the crew sleep (I would really appreciate a difficulty option to adjust day length as well.) I need resources too much to skip on any, and it seems to take so long to get them all, refine them all, turn them into precious resources, all the while I'm being pelted by asteroids which uses up more resources.

Here's the problem. You have a challenge in the game, in this case, asteroids, and you'd think.. build another turret, build a shield generator, or some other possible solution the game presents. That's what any sim game is all about!

But even when I started a new game with the resource rates bumped up, I couldn't afford to. I felt this constant time pressure: running out of plates (ship stability,) running out of food (yet I can't afford farms,) running low on power, slowly running out of basically every game-ending critical resource that constantly drains. All of these have obvious solutions in the game to become self-sufficient, but I can't afford to utilize them.

Even when I'm *constantly* mining and salvaging at 4X speed, 7 hours into the save, I'm expanding at a snails pace, and I feel like I can't afford anything. Not only do I need the specific building resources, but for that I need hull resources to expand, for that I need resources for an additional hull stabilizer, as well as more for engines, as well as more for more power and power nodes, etc. There's a wall I've hit where the ship can only get so big before you need a lot more of everything at once. Hull stability is really obtuse, also.

I end up researching, trying to build something new and cool, some new system to learn, a solution to one of the many problems, then realizing I expanded too quickly... so I have to undo it, and go back to scavenging and waiting. What would make the waiting game quicker? More crew, more salvaging pods, but that also requires more of everything!

I'm imagining it gets better later, but the early game is just irritating me. The aforementioned games ramp up the survival difficulty as you play, and you are able to expand at a much quicker pace, use research, and /feel/ like you're progressing. Right from the start in Space Haven, I feel restricted, bored of waiting, and frustrated that my input as a player feels minimal.

A bit of balancing could save this game for me, but as it is, I really feel like I can't enjoy the constant drain of resources, the slog of waiting for more and being held back from meaningful progression.

ehhh it was a lot of fun the first time i played. im not sure what i did differently, but now i cant seem to differentiate the crew members besides color which is little help. not enough info on who each person is within the many information windows when doing other things than looking directly at each crew member's window. i tried labeling everyones last name as their role, only to load up the game and their last names arent even shown. looked in the settings, nothing helped. im sure im doing something wrong and dont feel like going to youtube again to find out. only giving it a thumbs up because i had a ton fun with it originally, despite coming back and it being confusing with a lack of QoL. its worth playing if you can figure out what im unable to. also, when customizing the crew members, if you change anything from the drop down menus, it doesnt reflect on the menu of crew members when you move on to the next crew member. idk if visual glitch or if its not loading them as what you set it to, i forgot to look. hanging this game up for a while.

J'aimerais recommander le jeu mais je ne peux pas, il est en ea donc j'espère changer d'avis plus tard.
Je ne vais pas parler de ce que le jeu fait de bien, ce n'est pas pour rien qu'il est noté positivement et il y a déjà plein de review qui parlent de ses réussites. Je vais parler de ce qui me frustre.
En gros le jeu est plat. Il a tout pour faire de la gestion, et c'est tout, le minimum, il n'y a pas de liberté créative.
- Gestion de l'énergie? 1 seule possibilité
- Gestion de la nourriture? 1 seule possibilité
- Gestion du personnel? 1 seule possibilité
- Gestion du combat? toujours la même stratégie...
Pour tout c'est comme ça, le jeu créer un problème et apporte la solution toute faite sans laisser au joueur aucune marge de manoeuvre créative. Du coup le jeu semble superficiel.
Venant de Rimworld, un jeu ou à chaque partie je peux me dire "aujourd'hui j'essaie quelque chose de complètement différent" et ce après des centaines d'heures, ici je me retrouve à faire exactement les même étapes du début à la fin de chaque parties peu importe mon objectif.

Pire quand j'essaie de pousser un peu le jeu je me heurte tout de suite à un mur:
Impossible de créer un super carrier parce que le nombre de navette de combat est limité par une ressource extrêmement limitée: les points systèmes;
Etre un pirate ne change absolument rien à part la couleur des vaisseaux qui t'attaque;
Contrôler plusieurs vaisseaux est un enfer logistique;
Un vaisseau médical n'a aucun intérêt pour les même raisons qu'un vaisseau marchand ou cargos, il n'y a juste pas assez de demande.
J'ai même essayé un vaisseau minimaliste avec juste ce qu'il faut pour 1 membre d'équipage, me disant que j'aurai à gérer plein de défaillances et que ce serait une partie extrême mais non on tombe juste dans la monotonie après 2 ou 3 secteurs.

Au final toutes les parties se ressemblent, même avec le nouveau mode station qui reste assez similaire au mode classique. En réalité il y a un manque de flexibilité dans les bases même du gameplay qui fait que dès ma première partie j'ai eu l'impression d'avoir fait le tour avant même la fin.

Le jeu à grand besoin de diversité mais pas par de nouveau éléments de gameplay mais plutôt par un changement de philosophie: plutôt que de donner de belles solutions toutes faites à chaque problèmes donner des outils (sous la forme de divers systèmes ou recherches exclusives par exemple) et c'est le joueur qui se débrouille pour trouver la solution.

Je n'ai pas parler du commerce, de la recherche, de la diplomatie, du combat mais c'est exactement le même problème:
- Un seul type de quête: Fetch (apporte moi ça ou va ici pour moi)
- Toutes les factions commerces de la même manière
- Toutes les factions combattent de la même manière
- Toutes les factions utilisent les même technos
- Toutes les factions on les même quêtes (fetch)
- Le combat est minimaliste, il n'est même pas possible de bloquer l'entrée aux pirates qui peuvent passer librement sur le vaisseau par le sas d'entrée et dézinguer tout le monde. Ils arrivent aussi toujours par 3 même quand ils attaquent un vaisseau avec une soixantaine d'équipage...
Il n'y a que la quête principale qui change un peu et que j'ai appréciée suivre jusqu'à la fin

Comme prévenu je n'ai parlé que de mes frustrations mais je suis honnêtement en accord avec la note globale. Je pense qu'il y a un travail de qualité qui a été fourni ici mais je suis en désaccord avec la philosophie derrière l'équilibrage et le gameplay que je trouve fade et qui j'espère gagnera en saveur d'ici à la sortie officielle.

Крайне интересная игрушка для убивания времени, которая из Альфы стала полностью играбельной и даже получила сюжет. Нетребовательна к видеокарте из за пиксельной 2d графики, но процессор рекомендуется помощнее.

Есть качественный перевод на русский язык, хороший баланс, разнообразные вещи, фракции и так далее

Игре не хватает масштабности при таких возможностях. Нет очень крупных кораблей нпс, флот и карта системы ограниченны. Можно построить 1 летающую крепость и всех душить, но когда нет достойных противников, то смысла от этого мало. Предметов и экипировки для экипажа маловато. К эндгейму у вас будет овержир, но не будет достойных соперников (сообщество андроидов вооружены лазерным оружием). Не хватает фракций, например условной гильдии охотников за головами если вы кому то очень сильно навредили, редактора для отношений этих самых фракций. Не хватает условных экспедиций на планеты для добычи ресурсов.

Имеет смысл покупать по скидке, так как игра предназначена только для 1 игрока.

Очень рекомендую

This just sat in my library. Now after watching Project Hail Mary, I'm in full blown space mood. This is actually shaping up well. Haven't noticed bugs. The main mission is a good way to guide players down a golden path.

Stuff I personally wish to see: idk an easy and quick way to turn off Targeting Jammer so i can fire my weapons, rotate ship/camera, change lights colors & set lights behavior (always on/off, auto off when no person), more exterior/interior decoration, be consistent with turning off objects (they should all emit red light or no light/movement), turning off objects like engines to conserve energy while in a safe sector, color customization for objects (especially doors), give names to wall/floor variants and colors since they're not very easy to tell apart, sketch rooms inside ship not just hull, naming rooms (or checklist to achieve room type conditions), some sort of infection/quarantine mechanic, im not sure how my solar panels are helping in the power tab, drag select and copy paste rooms, easier method of dismantling storage (just drop all items on ground?), more storage variants (say i want an appropriate fridge looking one for food items, or locker for weapons), new window type that has closeable shutters (and they're harder to breach), alarms/sirens system (lights i can place, customizeable colors and sounds for specific events like fire or low oxygen or decompression or shield loss or hull breach or hostile invasion etc) - yes i know a bunch of these are just for roleplaying vibes haha

If some of these already exist, they may not be surfaced very well.

Anyway it's really quite addictive in the sense that while at my day job all I could think about was how to improve my ship design.

I love this game.

My hope is that they'll eventually focus on the colony/ship building aspect more. I'd love to see a wider variety of options for building and expanding the base.

Maybe an option for multistory builds?

I think if they expand the variety of enemies and offer more 'life sim' options during building it would really improve the overall experience.

The amazing thing about this developer is that they're constantly working on improvements and updates come weekly.

Acompanho o jogo praticamente desde o início e é uma alegria ver como os devs realmente se importam com o jogo e com as mudanças e melhorias que foram ocorrendo.
Depois de Rimworld esse é talvez o mais completo simulador de colônia, só que Spacehaven e em uma nave. Então para quem é fã de ficção científica espacial, viajar pelos cosmos, Spacehaven é fantástico.
Não sou um jogador hardcore, sou mediano, mas a personalização de cenários são muitas que é fácil encontrar qual te agrade, que te ofereça um desafio pequeno ou grande, ou somente para relaxar e construir.
Aguardando o lançamento da versão completa para esse ano!!!

Okay. So its a very, very complex game with a steep learning curve. That said, if you can get past that and kearn the game it is an absolutely wonderful game that, I feel, is criminally underrated. The art style is fantastic and really calls back to a 90s style sci fi.

Soundtrack is beautiful and the overall gameplay loop is really good fun. Im looking forward to spending it more time with this

2026年、正式リリース前最後（たぶん）の大型アップデートに追加されたステーションモードが面白い
宇宙船で大銀河を放浪するのではなく、RimWorldみたいな固定された土地に基地を作るモード
諸勢力の宇宙船や遺棄船、資源のある小惑星なども向こうから来てくれる
もちろん敵や各種災害も向こうからやってきて、標準モードと違いワープで逃げられないので対策して耐えねばならない
銀河マップに様々なイベントが現れ、戦闘部隊を送り込んでクエストをこなすこともできる
宇宙船の重量を気にしなくていいのでガンガン増築できるのも良い
試してないけど引っ越しもできるみたいだ
初期にプレイして現在休眠中の諸兄にも復帰をおすすめできる

Game just feels lazily put together. Upon starting a new game you can't even change the hair or skin color of your starting crew. Seriously? It's annoying spamming the randomize button hundreds of times just to get the gender, skin color, and hair color that you want. That stuff should be in this game day one. Everyone also shares the same exact hair style. Lazy.

Two, game does a terrible job of telling you if things are going wrong. Lost all my crew in half an hour because the game made no attempt to even tell me that the CO2 levels on the starting platform you start the game on was in dangerous levels. I found out once everyone died. Again, seriously? Is it so hard to get notified on things when they are approaching dangerous levels or ARE dangerous? Incredibly lazy.

A shame that I have gone over the stupid 2 hour playtime so I can't get a refund on this crap due to most of that time is going through the very minimal, lacking tutorial.

化け物の肉や人の肉も食えるハードな世界観。
敵が船内に侵攻してきたり逆に敵の船内に強襲を掛けたりできて楽しい。
乗員の名前を残してあげたいが「役職の頭文字+通し番号（FB03など）」に変更してパッと見で解りやすくしたほうが何かと効率的で管理しやすい。
人を番号で呼ぶなんてまるで刑務所みたいだがハードな世界観に合ってるのでまあヨシ！

I bought the game some years ago and it still plays the same but not in a good way.
The game is good but it doesn't seem to progress in development since I bought it. There are some new things added but those are just lazy on-top of existing mechanics.

I plays like unfinished, it feels like unfinished and with all the flaws it is unfinished.

It wouldn't matter since it is still in EA but it is like this since years and they are going for full release this year with something that other games have achieved within one year of EA.

edit:
- An option would be to not have one tech that enables crafting of all materials but have them separated. Maybe lock techs behind blueprints/study papers to be found. Make researching alien corpses main source for progressing in certain techs and make those techs actually worth researching.
- Add ancient / alien artifacts (in alien ruins) to be found under cetain conditions granting special bonuses or buildings.
- Separate crew types with its own needs, techs, ... for robot, android, alien, ...
- Make trade worthwhile and add items that can only be traded, maybe only with certain factions.
- Add variations of everything, with tiers. (eg 'wooden' chair, cosy chair, ...)
- Add more needs and option for deko. There is none to improve workplace.
- Fletch out the personality of people, currently I only know who dis-/likes who by reading the details, there is no impact on gameplay.
- Add random events that matter, like one of my crew member got hugged by an alien while he was sleeping... but nothing happened afterwards.
- Add story line and missions that impact the game. This colony ship just wants to be sent to places, which I randomly do during my exploration because it doesn't matter.
- ...

The tutorials are exceptionally easy to break if you have the wrong item picked when it goes onto another phase, you cannot unpick. Very frustrating. My recommendation is to wait until this is developed further before wasting your time/money. Life is too short to spend time with broken software. I'mma go play with my dog in real life.

물류량이 폭증할때 선원이 20명이고 작업 우선순위도 높고 물류로봇도 많은데 로봇은 충전소에서 멍때리고 있고
선원들은 작업시간에 전원 식당에 모여서 노가리만 까는 상황이 후반부에 많이 발생합니다.
오죽하면 스케쥴 설정을 해서 3시간 작업 2시간 휴식을 반복하는 스케쥴을 걸어야 휴식시간에 운반작업이 예약되고 작업시간에 선원당 1회의 운반작업만 수행하는 식으로 해야 에어록에 가득한 물류량이 치워질정도
혹시나 개발자 분들께서 보신다면 개선이 되었으면 좋겠고
플레이 하시는분들은 저런 상황에 스케쥴 조정을 통해서 해결 하시기 바랍니다.

Игра прекрасна! Одна из лучших выживалок что я играл.
Нравится почти всё.
Ламповая пиксельная графика радует глаз. Высокий уровень атмосферности, хороший баланс событийности (кроме 15 волн бродячих ботов подряд возможно не повезло). Режим станции сильно улучшил игру.
Из недостатков можно выделить очень медленное развитие проекта. Нужно вести дополнительную расу, каких-нибудь живых кристаллов для разнообразия. В игре скудное дерево технологий, можно было расширить раза в 3-4 за счёт мелких модернизаций и улучшений/модулей.
Ждём релиза.

P.S. При загрузке игры, сделайте пожалуйста запоминание в какой позе находился персонаж. Так же последнее действие во время боя. Спасибо!

Отличная игра, позволяющая настроить и компенсировать её минусы, а их немало. Даже на сложности "строитель" все они серьёзны, не говоря уже о более высоких. Плюсов тоже много, но писать о них тут не буду, достаточно положительного отзыва, и так простыня вышла, однако же без возможности опциональной настройки и правки файлов игры я бы поставил игре отрицательный отзыв, увы... Данный обзор справедлив для версии 0.20 beta1. Дальше не обновлял, пока не прошёл, и вот пишу отзыв. Судя по патчноуту, пару пунктов улучшили в 0.22, однако критические, вероятно, остались. Пока не запускал версию 0.22.

1. Отсутствие закрытого цикла. В космосе каждый килограмм на счету, поэтому всё потраченное должно возвращаться в виде ресурсов или металлолома. Однако же здесь ресурсы улетают в трубу, как будто их тоннами выбрасывают за борт. Что за расточительство... Экипаж запросто может остаться без воды, еды, углерода и хим. сырья. Я поискал в интернете, как править потребление ресурсов в файлах игры, в результате чего создал более-менее закрытый цикл. Без этого же нужно включать опцию "открытый мир" (элементы творческого режима), позволяющий создавать предметы, чтобы внезапно не помереть от нехватки льда, например. Также шаттлы и вылазки в скафандрах тратят кислород безвозвратно, что тоже нарушает замкнутый цикл. Нужно ставить дополнительную строку с углекислым газом, которая будет заполняться по мере траты кислорода, а так же при пополнении кислорода скафандрами. Критический минус, компенсируемый открытым миром.

2. Износ установок. Также опционален. В версии 0.19 (или 0.20, не помню точно) я решил его попробовать, и это ад. Вместо 10+ лет службы (всё же это оборудование для космоса, оно должно быть надёжным) установки служат порядка недели, после чего ломаются. В результате, на крупном корабле экипаж проводит всё своё время бегая туда-сюда и чиня всё. Пока он бежит чинить в одну сторону, в другой уже что-то ломается. 10 человек на корабле 2х2 едва справлялись, но на остальное времени уже не хватало. Исследование заброшенных кораблей, разбор, наука? Забудьте. Так что поиграв несколько часов я просто удалил сейв и начал заново. Ну и ресурсы на починку тратятся в никуда, хоть бы лом образовывался при поломке. И даже с выключенным износом они всё равно ломаются при авариях на работе, что, впрочем происходит, довольно редко и вполне приемлимо. Но вот пожар почти при каждой аварии - это уже странно, достаточно вероятности 5-10%. Критический, но отключаемый минус.

3. Хп щитов и корпуса - это что-то за гранью понимания. Как увеличение размеров корабля приводит к уменьшению прочности корпуса, когда должно увеличивать её??? Параметр "стабильность", используемый игрой, не должен иметь никакого отношения к хп, а должен только повышать шанс повреждения корпуса при прыжке, если ниже определённого порога (подобно механике гипериевых двигателей). А у щитов увеличение размеров корабля должно приводить только к увеличению пробивания щита (опять же, только ниже минимального порога), но никак не его хп. А сейчас чем больше корабль, тем он слабее, и может склеиться с одной тычки какого-нибудь мелкого пирата. Бред, да и только. Критический минус.

4. Очки системы. Их слишком мало. В итоге, большой корабль превращается просто в грушу для битья вместо могучего дредноута. Это критический минус, который нельзя настроить, и вместе с пунктом 3 превращается в 2 критических минуса. Так что я воспользовался редактированием файлов и то ли убрал их, то ли уменьшил до 1 требования.

5. Оружие хрен попадает в противника. Что у персонажей, что у кораблей. Зато они по тебе попадают только в путь. Особенно неприятно у кораблей, когда ты не можешь попасть ему в одну-единственную турель из-за разброса, а он тебе за это время выносит щит и начинает сносить турели и блоки щита. Серьёзно, в последнем бою я ему снял уже полкорпуса, и только тогда вышиб первую турель, а он мне дофига уже снёс турелей. Серьёзный минус.

6. Очки флота. В версии 0.20 их всё ещё 8, в результате чего после постройки корабля 2х3 невозможно присвоить и разобрать корабль 2х2 и больше. Не так критично, как упомянутое выше, но всё же неприятно. Было бы неплохо создать возможность временного присвоения корабля, чтобы нельзя было взять его дальше с основным флотом. Лёгкий минус.

7. Смехотворно малая награда за задания. Я выполнил каждое по одному разу чисто ради ознакомления и больше не притрагивался. Награда даже не окупает потраченные ресурсы, энергию и гиперий, не говоря уже о времени. Она должна быть порядка 100% от затраченных ресурсов на строительство станций (примерно, как в реале) и намного выше для остальных типов миссий. Лёгкий минус, но делает бесполезной всю эту ветку контента.

8. Система репутации. Вместо фиксированного подарка для повышения репутации это проценты от всего вашего имущества. 10-15% ради +4 и 30-50% ради +12? Это абсурд. Так что большие (и малые) подарки имеет смысл дарить только когда у вас ничего нет, а дальше забить. Лёгкий минус.

9. Пожары. Если что-то загорится, и рядом никого нет, то это конец кораблю. Как будто всё построено из легко воспламеняемых материалов. Пока персонажи бегут, температура поднимается, и они начинают бежать обратно, чтобы надеть скафандр, а потом обратно. За это время пожар успевает охватить десяток клеток. Особенно при солнечной вспышке, когда пожары начинаются сразу в нескольких местах. Единственное решение в данном случае - открыть шлюзы и начать выпуск воздуха сразу, как только начался пожар. Конечно, это приведёт к потерям драгоценного кислорода. В сравнении с реализмом пожары развиваются слишком быстро, как будто установки бензином облиты. Кроме того, если установка размером 2х3 или больше стоит вплотную к стене и загорелась там, то персонажи просто не могут добраться туда и потушить. При этом горящую установку невозможно демонтировать. Это накладывает серьёзные ограничения на строительство, хотя строить везде с зазором со стенами всё равно невозможно - места на корабле не хватит. Тут я рекомендую разработчикам увеличить дистанцию тушения до двух или даже трёх клеток. Серьёзный минус.

10. Криокамеры. На данный момент они бесполезны, ибо тратят слишком много энергостержней. Уйдёшь в минус после нескольких перелётов. Тратили бы в 10-20 раз меньше, имели бы смысл, а так... Только таблетки от межзвёздной болезни. Лёгкий минус.

11. Система негативных отношений между персонажами. Если уж они поссорились, то вражда будет расти бесконечно. У меня доходило до драк, когда один или оба участника оказывались на больничной койке, неспособные работать. После чего всё это повторялось. Дойдёт ли дальше до убийств - не знаю. Регуляция конфликтов, благоразумие или игнорирование друг друга? Забудьте. Так что я в последнем прохождении просто выключил эту опцию. Лёгкий, отключаемый, минус.

12. Невозможно полностью демонтировать присвоенный корабль и выбросить шаблон в урну, дабы освободить сектор, ибо всегда остаются 3 клетки парковочной площадки или шлюз. Лёгкий минус.

Я играл на изменённой сложности "строитель". Поставил максимум генерации ресурсов в галактике, но они сгенерились почему-то так, как будто стоит ниже среднего или близко к минимуму. Явный баг. Впрочем, кораблей я поставил выше среднего, не максимум, но достаточно, так что ресурсов в итоге мне хватало вкупе с замкнутым циклом.

Nought the game ages ago, tutorial felt too heavy and confusing.

Finally gave the game a shot and powered through the tutorial and the game is... Excellent! Time to play this for 200 hours and see if my first feelings hold true.

EDIT: Yeah nah.

First save got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because I moved structures around and somehow... well, a structure was built but the ghost of the previous one stayed. Warnings abound, blocked building etc.

Second save got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ just as I was picking up speed, because I had 5 derelicts spawn. One of them got rogue robots on it, they spawn so fast and frequently that I can't keep up repairing my turrets. If I try to attack the derelict, I get killed almost instantly.

AND I AM PLAYING ON THE SECOND LOWEST DIFFICULTY WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PEACEFUL.

Nothing short of editing a save file, adding high tech weapons etc. might be able to help me, but ♥♥♥♥ that.

Its fun, but still a mess.

I started a space station, which was a big whoop in one of their updates. I didnt know this then, but a lot of things have to be known WAY before starting the game; like the skills and potential of each pawn has to be balanced. you cant have 1 be really good at something and suck at the rest because the game wont even let them do that task anymore. Like shooting. If they dont have an abitrary weapon skill, they wont even touch the gun. Wouldve been nice to know since you spawn with 2 pistols and a shotgun, and if any of your pawns dont SPAWN with lvl 3 gun handling, they wont ever touch that shotgun.

Its whatever. Simply a skill issue on my part. I just restarted and get ready for the gang scrap life. Until a bunch of rogue robots showed up and shot the Hull stabilizer. IDK why we have a hull stabilizer since we are a space station, but it unfortunate. Right when i had absolutely no blocks to build with. Luckily, i will restart the save and save-scum. NOPE! Random events like these arent random. they are kinda baked into your save file. So after a while of different approaches to defeating them, i realized i couldnt. And then the allies appeared to trade and potentially save me!

THEY DIED. For some reason, they will spawn with no useful blocks and no point defense. i watched the robots shred them into a derelict.

Luckily for me, there is a debug console that i can turn on at any point to save my game (im lying. there is no such thing)

Space Haven ficou um bom tempo criando poeira na minha biblioteca antes que eu resolvesse dar uma chance pra ele. Jogá-lo foi uma experiência inesquecível e viciante!

É uma boa escolha para quem quer começar uma jornada em jogos referentes à sobrevivência espacial pela primeira vez. Ele mantém sua mente ocupada 100% do tempo, nem dá brecha para problemas emocionais te incomodarem, porque você estará muito concentrado, trabalhando e navegando no espaço.

É necessário ter humildade, paciência e estratégia para garantir algum progresso e a estabilidade de tudo e de todos. Jogar com muita ambição, não gerenciar seus recursos adequadamente e tomar decisões precipitadas sem estratégia, observação e estudo pode colocar sua nave em perigo e custar a vida de toda sua tripulação. Cada decisão e atitude tem peso e consequência.

O que faz esse jogo ser especial é a imprevisibilidade das coisas. Tudo pode acontecer: ter rumos, acidentes, desesperança, esperança, reviravoltas, pânico, euforia, perdas, vitórias e muita coisa que te deixa desesperado ou fascinado. Você passa a desenvolver uma boa capacidade de lógica e raciocínio, aprende a ser mais cuidadoso com seus passos, pode ser submetido a estresse ou alívio, dependendo do tipo de situação precisará lidar, mexendo, inclusive, com seus batimentos cardíacos. A melhor parte é ter sua imaginação trabalhando, conforme a história prossegue.

Minha tripulação partilhou muitas histórias, estiveram juntos na dor, no cansaço, na derrota e na vitória e continuam desbravando o espaço. É possível criar memórias com todos nossos personagens! Eu amei essa experiência!

Quem não está acostumado com a mecânica proposta, talvez ache o jogo um pouco exaustivo. Meu conselho é que respeite seu ritmo iniciante e não escolha os níveis avançados logo de primeira, aprenda o essencial para poder ter um progresso contínuo e sem dificuldades. É necessário jogar disposto a errar e aprender, porque antes de acertar, você com certeza vai errar bastante!

As IA's (Gemini, Copilot e OpenAI...) podem te ajudar a sanar suas dúvidas quando o tutorial não for suficiente, mas já adianto que nem sempre elas estão 100% corretas, então confie principalmente na sua intuição. Às vezes, a raiz de um problema desesperador pode ter uma solução mais simples do que parece, basta se acalmar e pensar um pouco que você consegue resolver e caso seja preciso, recomece sempre que sentir necessidade.

Eu desejo uma emocionante experiência a todos que se arriscarem dar uma chance para o Space Haven. É, como dizem, um "jogaço", e merece mais reconhecimento! ^-^

常に移動してその時その時で必要な資源を蓄える必要があるし、移動先は常に危険が潜んでるので移動先は慎重に選びたい
船員も打たれ弱いしすぐ発狂する（でも寝室は激狭でも許してくれる）
自走できるように機体をデカくすると重くなるのでエンジンを増やさないといけないみたいなSF盆栽要素もある移動経路を考えて構築するみたいな無限沼要素があり、適当に作ると船員がすぐ忙殺されてやりたいことを全然やってくれないことも多々あるのが良い（装備を作る施設とその素材を作る施設はなるべく近くに置くなど）
考えることが無限にあって辛い（楽しい）な人におすすめです
アプデが細かく変更量が多いので一気にやって半年ほど放置すると何回も味変できておすすめ

このゲームをやるにあたって：
・遺棄船に行くときは必ず武装スキルの高い船員に強い銃を持たせて行くこと　なるべく4人連れて行くこと
・火災が発生したらドアを解放して煙をガス清浄機のところに誘導すること（火災が発生しやすい装置を壁で囲んで隣の部屋に清浄機を置くとやりやすいです　同じ部屋に置くと一緒に燃える）
・なるべく多くソーラーパネルを建てろ
・なるべく多く光栽培床を建てろ

It's an okay game, once you figure out the mechanics of Gameplay. I still haven't finished the game yet but could be getting close. The graphics in this game suck... think minecraft without the ability to spin around... seriously? Once you have a bad ass ship, you really can't build much more.. I can't even claim ships I find or build a space station that I don't lose everytime I fly away... seriously a stupid aspect of the game.

This game feels like it has a lot of potential but the systems just aren't that interesting when compared to other games in the genre and the game needs to be balanced better I feel like. Nothing feels that satisfying, getting resources is way too hard/expensive, and you always just feel like you are constrained even on normal difficulties. Like the game is challenging but not in interesting ways. The systems don't really mesh together all that usefully, and it doesn't feel like you can be self sufficient. I find myself just playing the game on max speed because it doesn't seem like there is much I can really impact so I am just watching my crew go around and do tasks. I don't feel a strong urge to improve my ship. I don't feel a strong urge to go do the main quests, partly because I am unsure how prepared I need to be to do them, and side quests just don't feel like they have meaningful rewards. The game just generally falls flat.

If you want to build a ship and explore, this isn't the game for you. Very Sim City-like, meaning everything has to be placed within the ship in specific ways to make the various components work. At the same time, you have to keep the crew happy and even install lighting and other amenities that feel nit-picky and take up space. The crew members can be drafted to perform specific tasks, but the drafting isn't sticky and the units wander off and do nothing or get killed. As far as sims go, it felt like being god of a special needs universe. To build anything consequential you're gonna sink a lot of time into this single player game. If you play past 2 hours (even if paused) they won't refund your bucks. Buyer beware.

I've tried to come back to Space Haven several times but just end up frustrated. There's a great game here but the devs really need to consider the learning curve and just how unintuitive a lot of the systems and UI can be. Additionally I think there's some bugs with the "objective" system. Initially the game doles out hints like "build a power generator" etc. Eventually for me it got to "find a hyper lane" but won't progress beyond that. So I'm not sure what I'm missing that would come after. And there's no way to skip that hint, all I can do now is stop the hints entirely.

The mission system and UI is just bizarre. You accept a quest and get a little tooltip on the screen for it. Clicking that tool tip brings up the current objective and nothing else - no way to see the entire mission or time remaining. Also the tooltip will mention a star system - you need to make a note of that and then zoom out and hunt down that system on the map - why not just link to the map from the tooltip?

Maybe the 2nd or 3rd mission I was offered was to build an entirely new base for a faction. I should have just declined this as I've just barely got my ship working but I was curious to see what all it involved. Again - why is the game offering quests like this when you've just barely started? So I go meet a ship from that faction and they follow me to where the base needs to built. Why do I have to go meet them somewhere and we can't just meet where the base is going? No idea. They have brought along supplies that can be used to build the base BUT you need to partially build the base in order for the supply "container" to have somewhere to land. And then wait several DAYS while your crew unloads these supplies. Oh and the thing you built to unload the supply container isn't actually needed for the base, and is huge, so you then decontruct it. By the way this mission is timed, for some reason, so you better hope your people can get it done quickly. I think the devs know this stuff doesn't make any sense because they give you hints oh how exactly to unload this supply container. But IMO that's just bad design being papered over with tons of step by steps that have to tell you click this button, now click this button etc.

Unfortunately a lot of the content online is really old, so maybe some new tutorials will pop up on Youtube once 1.0 hits, but for now I would hold off until the team can make a pass on the early game, fix whatever this bug is with the hints system, and just try to make things more intuitive - I think they know things are confusing. Hopefully they can figure out a way to fix it that's not just more step by step hints. Space Haven ist ein fesselndes Spiel, solange man sich darauf einlässt. Jeder der X-Com oder Frostpunk mochte sollte hier ein Blick darauf werfen. Man spielt es nicht nebenbei, denn es besitzt mehr Tiefe als man zuerst annehmen kann. Die Crew verhält sich nachvollziehbar logisch. Wer Hunger hat arbeitet schlecht, wer nicht ausgeruht ist unterbricht seine Arbeit und alle die einen Raumanzug tragen müssen können weder Schlafen noch Essen. Das kann durchaus herausfordern werden, sobald das Schiff mal Schäden erleidet, sei es durch gefahren des Weltalls oder der eigenen Crew. Meteoritenschauer, Strahlung, Piraten und andere Gefahren lauern auf einen. Ressourcen sind rar und müssen im Blick behalten werden. Das Spiel verzeiht nicht viele Fehler, viele Konsequenzen werden erst später spürbar. Wenn versäumt wird ausreichend Energie oder Wasser zu organisieren und in einem System strandet oder die Crew von Sklavenhändlern entführt wird. Hier schreibt das Spiel dann die eigenen kleinen Geschichten. Ein Flüchtling stahl mein Shuttle und verschwand im Weltall. Ein letztes Crewmitglied verteidigt mit einer Pistole das Schiff gegen einen Trupp von Sklavenhändlern. Mit Forschung an den Schiffwaffen konnte ich die Sklavenhalter durch den Sektor verfolgen, deren Schiff kampunfähig schießen und meine Crew befreien. Einmal war die gesamt Crew durch Aliens gefangen, eigentlich das Game Over, als ein Schiff der Militärallianz in das System eintrat und das Schiff von Aliens säuberte und mich befreite. Ressourcen und Crew Management spielen demnach eine wichtige Rolle, trotz alledem kann es durchaus entspannend sein eine Runde Space Haven zu spielen. Das Spiel läuft Stabil und abstürze sind extrem Selten. (Ich hatte nur 3 in der Early)

A true hidden gem and the best game I've had luck to enjoy in the last year. I keep coming back for more and it keeps delivering. Seeing my humble space colony evolving, gradually becoming more stable and self-reliable with the thought-through game design is a pure joy.

It is a struggle to find a flaw in Space Haven. The main area to work on, apart from the ever-resource-hungry progression and variety of content, seems to be in addressing the learning curve, which already has the modular and intuitive tutorial to deal with it, in order to involve a wider audience by word of mouth, show them the real beauty of the game and "reach the stars" ;)

I might suggest the devs to add a menu section for an in-game wiki, which should contain FAQ regarding the common misunderstandings using text and the already neat animation screen system, an aggregation of tips and tricks for optimal gameplay, and a comprehensive hierarchical list explaining every single game mechanic intended to be used and taken advantage of, however obscure or relevant, such as the sheer capability and effects of crouching in combat.

Also, the well-designed UI allows me to play using mouse only, which reveals the game's potential to enter mobile and handheld market when the opportunity becomes worthwhile. For clarity reasons, there might be a need to add better visual feedback and highlights to currently targeted enemies, already selected either automatically or manually, which I most prominently noticed in starfighter-rogue drone interactions. Lastly, I liked the attention to all the customization and decoration options, and would love to see more of them added in the future.

Just woke up and the first thing on my mind was how to return to playing Space Haven, which inspired this review to be as easy to write as it is to breathe and show my true feelings in the moment. Big respect goes to the developers!

Amazing indie sleeper, don't miss it if u enjoy Faster Than Light, or Rimworld.
Please devs, don't leave this game half assed, and keep adding content and developing it, hope you get more sales and attention like it happened to Project Zomboid, even if it takes many years.

An absolute gem of space survival games, with intricate balance of systems and very nicely written story. A recent addition of station gameplay adds an extra layer of replay value.

And yes, you can get your ship almost self-sufficient. But only almost. Which is a big advantage over similar games, which tend get boring after you've achieved closed cycle. Here - you'll never have such a problem.

The game has lovely UFOish isometric graphics straight from 90s, which is a great nostalgic feature for oldschool gamers and a fresh gust of wind for new players. Soundtrack is absolutely breathtaking

Cozy Game Meets Space!

Wow! This is exactly what I was looking for. I enjoy this game and I've been binge playing it because its soo good. The music score is great. Not too over the top but comforting and subtle. I love the freedom to explore and the challenges to face. I love the lore, the logs you find, and the building up of crew members, fleet, and ships. The factions, the battles, it is a whole universe to explore. There is a legit fear of running out of resources and getting stranded, so trading and hoarding up of resources before going off to explore, is almost a necessity.

I don't want to take too long to type this because I want to get back to my game, but if you are on the fence about this game, give it a try. There is a learning curve and I highly recommend the tutorials.

The artwork is stellar. There is just something about it which engages you so much. Although I do have a little wish list of features (listed below), overall the game is in a really good shape with enjoyable one-off playthrough.

Once you overcome the initial phase, the difficulty flattens. No challenge is too big.

[*] Derelicts/Resources are way too common (even on rarest settings).
[*] Fights with aliens/mechs become too easy. I would love to see the addition of more races, with more advanced tech as the game progresses.

[h3] Lacks replay-ability [/h3]
I understand it is space, but this is also a game. All playthroughs are the same. [b] You build ship[/b]. Space-station mode is just space ship building with additional steps.

If you were to compare it to RimWorld, a different biome totally changes the gameplay from ice sheets to extreme deserts. Even with the addition of odyssey in RimWorld, gravship jumps are very restricted. This makes you stay and deal with the issues, rather than you know just jump and skip everything.

Maybe addition of planets, like space stations, could help in this case. Imagine building a floating base on top of a gas giant. You need to deal with weather, extreme temps, storms, etc.

There is only linear tech progression. No branching or alternatives to choose from.
[h3] Quest system is... meh at best [/h3]
The rewards are common and hardly worth it. Addition of exclusive rewards like techs/machines similar to Archotech rewards in RimWorld would do wonders for it.

It has great potential and worth the price if you are okay with one off play though. Hopefully in the future devs can add some procedural replay-ability.
