This game honestly surprised me. The idea sounds simple at first, but it gets chaotic really fast in a fun way. You're constantly under pressure while your size keeps changing, which makes even small tasks feel stressful (in a good way).

It’s one of those games where you keep saying “just one more try” because you know you can do better next time. It can get frustrating, but that’s part of what makes it so addictive.

Definitely recommend it if you want something a bit different and fast-paced.

Взял её по скидке за 16 грн, думал это обычная сюжетка, но игра реально классная!
Суть игры: Ты ученый, и за 20 минут ты должен успеть приготовить все зелья и из этих зельей собрать код, также пока изготавливаешь зелья то также можешь запутатся, но это делает игру еще лучше!
Обязательно берите если любите головоломки, и поморочиться!

I only recommend if its on at least a 50% sale, i got it while it was 92% off so it was well worth the 5 hours it took to beat it. although i think at least one of those was caring for my kids while i left it running in the background. its a short fun game, they certainly couldve added a lot more to the game, like add some sort of story/other mechanics, idk. it couldve been much better, but its an ok game.

I am happy for the developers that they managed to create this tech demo of a video game where you walk around in a small room and, without much of an introduction or a storyline or whatever, just have to gather things that are randomly generated around this room and bring them to meaningless machines... but honestly? A standalone title for 10€ that made it into a Humble Choice bundle? This would be a nice little delight if it was for free on itch, but this is really not worth anyone's time. Like, Among Us is a simple game, too, but the principle of Among Us has way way more to offer. Maybe this, too, should be a Multiplayer game, if anything, though I know that's easier said than done from a development standpoint.

The shrinking concept is cool and all but even with that, you're still just... picking up randomly generated stuff in a room... over and over again. It's really not worth your time and it's really odd that this ended up in a Humble Choice.

一通りのステージと難易度は遊んでみました。

内容としては、薬の影響で徐々に縮んでしまう科学者が時間内に解毒薬を調合する、というゲーム。
10～15分くらいで気軽に遊べるので良かったです。

調合の組み合わせはランダム。
調合素材と組み合わせの公式は部屋の中に隠されているので、時間内に探して調合しなくてはなりません。

それだけ聞くと脱出ゲームのようですが、プレイヤーは時間経過で縮んでいくのがポイント。
最初は移動や物を運ぶのも簡単なのですが、後半になると机よりも小さくなってしまうので、移動だけでも一苦労です。

小さくなったあとのことを考えて、序盤に段ボールや椅子などを動かして階段を作っておいたり、高いところにあるものを全部床に落としておくなど、ちょっとした工夫が大事になってきます。

ステージや難易度も複数あるので、休みの日に遊ぶのにちょうど良い感じです。

「小さくなっていく」という条件をうまく使ったアクションパズルでした。

In the game Size Matters, you shrink and have to craft keys using found recipes. You need to make three different keys to create an antibody. Once you have all the keys, you can craft the antibody, which returns you to your original size.

The game is only worth buying when it’s on sale, as it provides just a short, casual fun experience.

Size Matters puts you in the place of a scientist who mistakenly drank a flask that slowly makes you smaller. You have to mix, microwave, and use the ingredients, machines, and formulas at your disposal to eventually create the cure. This game is really fun and has a great learning curve that slowly increases the difficulty and introduces new concepts to you. I got this for free during a promotion and even though it's a bit pricey for its gameplay, I would recommend this for the replayability factor.

Size really does matter in this quirky and silly science simulator. Simplistic, yet colorful art style fits nicely tucked behind test tubes and beakers. Runs as good as it can on Linux.
Meaning the game itself is buggy, really the only annoying thing is the random frame drops that make it look like a millisecond game freeze. Happens just often enough to start bothering me.

I do recommend it because the idea is great and isn't done by any other games.
I hope someone comes along and makes a co-op game like this with a wide variety of maps, and many more game modes, hopefully allowing mods and steam workshop to share those mods.

Until that happens, this is a great little game to play through.
I do say grab it on sale.

Decent game with an escape room vibe. Lots of detail in each lab that become more apparent as you shrink. I enjoyed making a mess of the lab while frantically looking for formulas and chemicals.

The game does get a little repetitive after awhile.

I think a lot more fun could be had if there was a mode where you could play with friends, or perhaps interact with someone who isn't shrinking, like a lab partner, who could help do some stuff.

This game is basically an escape room, and those are WAY more fun with company. A little dull doing it all alone :(

Also, more things to interact with would be a lot of fun, like a bouncy ball that acts as a trampoline, toy grappling hook that allows you to climb up counter tops, or even little zip lines or paper airplanes to get you around.

Just some thoughts if y'all ever make a sequel :)

Fun little game! Sort of escape room-esque, with an interesting mechanic as a timer. While you try to remember nonsense chemical formulas, you're also dragging around boxes and other objects to act as ramps and platforms so you can still navigate the lab when tiny. My main complaint is that the game is EXTREMELY short for what it is. Everything feels unfinished and a bit wonky. I appreciate the mechanic of decreasing in size, which is a new twist in a game that doesn't feel like a puzzle... But everything else ends up working against you. You are left sometimes waiting for several minutes while things just happen in the background, with no gameplay while you just wait.

The amount of content it offers could also be better but, given how short it is, you go through it in a whiff and after an hour it already feels repetitive.

Also, I really disliked how the "collectibles" on each lab are just random translucent blue orbs that add absolutely nothing to the gameplay. They could be shaped like something more relevant, given you some sort of boost or unlocked something, but they are literally there just so you get an achievement when you collect them, which, and I say this as a completionist, is a very lame way to farm for content.

The game itself isn't bad, but it is not nearly good enough for me to recommend it.

Size Matters es un curioso juego de puzzles y plataformas en primera persona donde tomaremos el control de un científico en grave peligro. Un experimento ha salido mal y estamos encogiendo por momentos. Nuestra misión será encontrar los elementos necesarios para revertir el proceso de encogimiento antes de que sea demasiado tarde.

[h2]Jugabilidad / Apartado técnico[/h2]
Size Matters carece de trama, diálogos o campaña, más bien se trata de jugar partidas independientes unas de otras, donde el objetico será el mismo, pero podremos ir incrementando la dificultad o jugar en distintos escenarios. Al comenzar la partida deberemos buscar a toda prisa todos los matraces con compuestos químicos y los cuadernos de notas con las diferentes recetas necesarias. Estos estarán dispersos por el laboratorio, sobre las bancadas, dentro de muebles o cajones, etc. Para sintetizar el antídoto necesitamos crear previamente 3 productos clave. Esto lo conseguiremos siguiendo las recetas y utilizando las diferentes máquinas del laboratorio. Por ejemplo, habrá un dispositivo para mezclar productos, un microondas para calentarlos o una máquina para revertir una mezcla equivocada, entre otros.
Sin embargo, conforme pase el tiempo nos iremos haciendo cada vez más pequeños, aquí vendrá la parte de plataformeo, ya que tendremos que usar los objetos del entorno, como cajas o sillas, para poder subirnos a las bancadas de trabajo, saltando e ingeniándonoslas para continuar con nuestra investigación. La dificultad creciente supondrá que haya más productos y recetas que realizar para poder superar el nivel, o que los matraces se puedan romper o salirse su contenido. Además, habrá un modo sin gravedad y un modo enano, donde empezaremos siendo diminutos y podremos dar dobles saltos en el aire. En cada laboratorio también podremos encontrar algunos secretos y orbes ocultos, a modo de coleccionables.

Size Matters es un juego bastante divertido, que nos plantea retos de dificultad creciente pero que nunca se siente injusto o realmente complicado. Todo lo contrario, es bastante satisfactorio conseguir ingeniárselas para alcanzar sitios que se nos han quedado altos o resolver otra serie de dificultades. El hecho de que el juego carezca de trama también lo hace idóneo si queremos echar unas partidas rápidas sin calentarnos demasiado la cabeza. En definitiva, un juego bastante interesante y despreocupado que puede darnos unas 5-6 horas de diversión. Funciona muy bien en Steam Deck.

Size Matters - A colourful spin on another game, Inch By Inch. You're a professor, you accidentally shrunk yourself, now you have a limited amount of time in order to reverse the effects or be lost to the dust void for ever.

The game itself is pretty straight forward, with puzzle solving as the center.

Highly recommend this game, really fun, but very little in the way of replay-ability.

А теперь мое мнение об игре: Она очень скучная с не очень удобным управлением. Я прошел 1-ю миссию и удалил игру. Больше играть в это мне не охота. Эта игра похожа на демо версию какой-то более интересной игры. Маленькая комнатка. Контента мало. Реиграбельность никакая. Разве что желание получить все достижения может задержать вас в этой игре. Перевод на русский не полный. Переведено только меню игры и некоторые названия устройств и ингридиентов. Остальное все на английском. То есть игра настолько не интересная, что даже переводчик бросил ее переводить полностью. Конечно же никакие 5 долларов это не стоит. Я бы ее даже по скидке не взял. Там, вон, Батлфилд и Арму 3 за такую же цену продают по скидке. Так где Батлфилд и где эта инди игрушка.

A well made game overall.

As you play you learn how the different machines in the laboratory work, then combine and cook them into other chemicals.including some which are strangely named keys. It didn't feel too challenging to complete the game as there was plenty of time given to finish the objectives in each of the scenarios. There were 6 different maps to play which makes the game re-playable giving you more areas to explore. The laboratories are small, but they appear larger as you get smaller. This game would probably be quite fun in VR.

你现在需要药水S
于是你需要A+B=C, C+水=D, F+G=H, H+C=S

但是游戏有一个机制挺有意思的，就是，你每秒钟的身高都会逐渐缩小，这一个机制简直要把游戏盘活了。在游戏的最开始三分钟，也就是玩家最高，视角最好，跳跃能力最强，最有力气的阶段。玩家需要找到所有药剂，按照自己舒服的位置摆放，扔到操作台上的障碍物，然后为之后变小的自己铺路。等到一局的中后期，玩家必须在场景内蹦蹦跳跳，因为此时的玩家身高已经堪忧了。

这种与时间赛跑和规划每一个物品最终达到目的很有成就感，也很有趣。可惜就是重开价值不高，第一局是最好玩的。

You can pick the game up on sale for less than £1, for that, I'd say this game was well worth it.

It's got a few bugs but none that really break the game at all. The concept is unique and that's what interested me, simple as. If you like the concept of having to make potions to cure yourself of a disease where you're constantly shrinking, grab the game and give it a go! It was a lot of fun!

Size Matters is a hybrid first person adventure/puzzle game and 3D platformer. You're in a small lab and you inhale chemicals that make you shrink. To fix the problem you must create other chemicals, but as you're shrinking, you're against the clock and the environment to operate the various fictional apparatus. It's a simple premise that might work well if the implementation was better and the developer was more ethical (more on that below).

On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers.

These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.

The game never really caught on with the millions of gamers on Steam, with a very low peak player count close to launch, and then just a handful of players launching this game every couple of days. This is undoubtedly caused by factors such as those raised in this review. It's always helpful with buying decisions to consider how popular and successful the product is, and unfortunately while this did accumulate a few participation trophy reviews, overall, people just aren't using it.

The game contains stock/store assets/sound samples, but the "developer" here hasn't credited the people who actually did the work for the game. In some cases this breaches the license agreement the developer signed for the use of those assets. Worse, some of the assets are licensed under a [b]NON-COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT[/b], but the developer is violating those licenses [b]FOR PROFIT[/b] (sounds from Freesounds under non-commercial license, copyright owned by FoolBoyMedia, who is also not credited... plagiarism and copyright license infringement!). This is not just a contractual/license breach, in many jurisdictions this is a breach of criminal law. Claiming credit for the work of others as well as breaching software licenses and breaking the law is highly unethical.

So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?

Size Matters has the ridiculous price of $10 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. For comparison, the $10 asking price for this game could get you games like "Stellaris", "Cities: Skylines" or "Bioshock Infinite". Quality, professionally made games like those, from ethical developers, are frequently on sale cheaper than this.

TLDR; Great game, no story but its not needed here, i had a lot of fun with the brain teasing mechanics mixed with the inevitable oldschool-feel parkour and multi-tasking, worth $10 and even more so on sale. Replayability with custom maps as well. Great gimmick that desperately deserved to be made into a game.

I loved this game, I got 100% of the achievements in 4.3 hours, and that's not to say that there's not a lot to do, I was just FLYINGGGG. Genuinely, this game gives you a good 6 or so preset labs all with different layouts and difficulties, and then there is a custom mode where you can make it as easy or hard as you like. The preset maps were a lot of fun and the gameplay gives a type of puzzle solving akin to that of "Keep talking and nobody explodes", that correlation may not make sense to a lot of people but in my brain these types of puzzle solving are like cousins. You need 3 "Key" antidotes which to create you're manipulating the base chemicals you have, which you have to find as well as the recipes THERE IS NO GUESS WORK, if youre guessing youre missing information that is on the wall or on a clipboard.

The best way i can explain it is; imagine you are in a labyrinth starting in the room with all three "key" antidotes, each of the three have a hallways leading in front of you, you take the left most path and you come to another chemical that has two more hallways, you pick one of the hallways and travel down to see then newly coming left path has a chemical you can use but, the right path has deeper branching hallways before you can even use the one you just found and then you remember there are 2 other antidote keys... You use the recipes you find to make a road map through each of the "hallways" and figure out which two chemicals mix together first, now that you have a new chemical you likely have to mix more just to have something to mix it with the one you have now. And after ALL THAT youre perpetually shrinking with a time limit so youre multitasking with multiple different hallways of this labyrinth all the while the desk is getting a little harder to reach.

I had a wonderful time with the game, I was gifted it, but even with that being said this was easily a $10 experience, i could easily justify $30 if there was a bit more pre-set content.

Auch wenn das Spiel für mich nur eine klare 7/10 ist, muss ich die Achievements in dem Game in den Himmel loben! Lustige kleine Maleure werden dadurch belohnt und das Spiel bekommt durch diese Handicaps sowie das zusätzliche Suchen von Easter Eggs noch einen zusätzlichen Kick. Wer wie ich gerne über Zeitpassierte Stressgames wütet, kann sich hier trotzdem der Spielmechanik nicht beklagen! Ich habe es gerne gespielt!
