After playing number 1, the acting is very mediocre along with the writing. Its impossible to get into the story, even my twitch chat struggled to get into the game. Most scares so far feel very half arsed, and have no point.

You feel no where near as involved in the story as you do with no.1 and it feels as if there is no motivation to play the actual game.

Sound settings are also very unoptimised, and lack so for streamers I do not recommend.

Detective Murilo is amazing, no notes.

While the game isn't scary, there is a lot of depth to it, and a lot of endings to boot. You really are doing some solid puzzle work in this game, and piercing together what's going on. Throughout the game, if you really delve into it, you start to really get a feel for the characters (everyone is unlikeable but Murilo, Watergoth, and June, but in a way that doesn't really hurt enjoyment, dislike trash in a good way)

You might get confused sometimes, but what you're looking for is probably something you overlooked while trying to rush through all the data you have. The game also provides a hint system to allow you to know at least how to progress the story.

I got a bad ending that wasn't without any hope, and upon your first completion, you get a feature that can speed through stuff so you can more easily get the other routes/endings, making replays feel a lot less of a barrier to see the rest.

It's $1.99 on sale right now, 8 bucks doesn't really even seem like that much of an ask for whta I already got out of it, with the only caveat that there are also tons of other games at good prices that also exceed their vague cost to value ratio. Pretty sure this game is in bundles a lot (pretty sure that's how I got mine), and at it's sale price, it's a no brainer. I wasn't ever truly afk in my playtime, so it is a decent reflection, maybe closer to 7 hours with a thorough first playthrough, 6 if you're a faster reader, with tons of changes depending on how you go about it all.

It's good enough where you won't be bored, offers little in the way of horror, and Detective Murilo in the detective playthrough was an absolute goat, my favorite fmv style video game character as we stand here. I do recommend.

Ich habe es zum ersten mal gespielt und muss einfach wow sagen. Dafür das es ein horore spiel ist habe ich mich nicht oft erschrocken aber ab und zu mal und die story line ist echt beindruckend sie läst dich fast mit ihr versmeltzen. ich finde es auch toll das man so ein Acivment baum sehen kann vermisse aber di prozent anzeige aus dem ersten game.

While definitely a step up from the first game, Simulacra 2 still struggles in many of the same ways the original does. Lackluster acting, mediocre writing, unrealistic apps, not-scary scares, and lack of any likeable characters. Despite this, I still love this game to bits. It's got a special place in my heart for games that have tried their best to be entertaining, and Simulacra 2 is nothing but entertaining, even if unintentionally funny instead of scary lol. 7/10 from me, definitely give it a try if you have a bit of money!

If you played the first Simulacra game and wonder if this one is worth playing too, I'd say go for it! It still has that spooky element too it, but it has more endings as well! It's quite a bit more goofy than the first game, so it does have it's own charm to it. I really enjoyed this one as well.

Um. I just figured out why the game is relatively 14 GB total.
In the StreamingAssets folder, you can find desktop-4k, desktop-480p and desktop-1080p. desktop-4k's size is 11 GB, which is almost as large as the game in general.
Unless you have a 4k monitor, you may not need the 4k option. You could safely delete it, again, IF you do not have a 4k monitor..

(My review earlier was positive, but I decided to sit down and actually think about the plot relevence to most of these. The acting is also pretty rough, not really expecting to get the third game.)

Compared to the prequel, this was a little more enjoyable.
However, it wasn't always clear what was missing or I'm just stupid as sh*t.
The "you've explored this/that" tree triggered something inside of me.
Never closed a game that fast after completing...
Anyway, it's worth it in a good sale, I believe.
And Rex's song is sadly a banger lol.

you can tell this game had a higher budget, and for what it is i enjoy it, but it never pulled me back as much as the first did. the twist isnt as unexpected as it was in the 1st game, and for what its worth i think the 1st balanced its fun and horror pretty good whereas here i dont think it does as well.

still, id say its mostly still worth checking out at least once.

С самого начала всё пошло очень странно. Почему профи детективы общаются как школота? Я реально будто зумерские переписки читаю, а там вроде как люди взрослые, диалоги смотрятся кринжово, будто нейросеть писала. И как всегда наблюдается общая проблема всех этих игрушек с найденными телефонами - игра тем или иным образом заставляет нас перечитать тонну калового абсолютно неинтересного текста, чтобы найти там где-то среди океана пустоты какую-то одну фразу, которая будет являться паролем для какого-то приложения. Ну честно, бред. Скука смертная. Ещё и с русским языком явно проблемы, что осложняет игровой процесс. В общем, ожидания были велики, а итог так себе. Но из всего подобного жанра игр эта всё же лучшая из худших

* You get to meme on other people's Twitter posts catfishing as an influencer and get away with it
* The vibe is kinda spooky and also oddly hilarious (acting is a bit OTT, but just in the way that for me it was a feature rather than a bug)
* There are utterly despicable characters, and there's also Detective Murilo, who just feels like an endearing yet slightly unhinged uncle
* You get to call said detective a peeping tom for talking about how cool it is that he gets to snoop around someone's phone
* You get to snoop around someone's phone, and despite not sharing Detective Murilo's weird interests... it is fun
* The mystery wasn't top-tier imo, but it was engaging enough while also being kind of chill, so playing through it was a good time

Don't remember this being really quick to finish (4-5 hours of gameplay)

No bugs happened in my playthrough, the acting is criticized but it feels like on character for me [spoiler] because isn't that the point? All of them are fake in their own way kinda? [/spoiler]
[spoiler] Didn't really see the point in getting the 'stormy' dialogue options for them, some of them were straight up douchey. (though I feel like some of them aren't 'stormy' at all) They lost a dear friend - understandably so - because if someone I knew started to ramble about a 'Rippleman' out of nowhere (and it doesn't seem like there was evidence to back what Maya was saying) I don't think I'd believe them too to some extent.. They were grieving and talking to a rando who has HER phone at the same time, saying "Welp, you've betrayed Maya lol" doesn't seem like a good idea, especially since a key part of getting the good ending is being supportive resulting in all of them teaming up and helping. Think they already know they messed up (when it comes to Maya), but also they have their own.. flaws...[/spoiler]
I felt like most of it was puzzles rather than scares, but the scares are also well-made and some of them freaked me out a bit. Only got to hear one song so can't really judge the soundtrack in it's entirety (but I really liked it) [spoiler] Really didn't like how I had to pretend to be Maya to get the K-Remote app though, that's a me issue but still [/spoiler] Many dialogue options and endings, they even have a Fast Mode once you complete the game (for the first time), which is helpful if you're interested in trying other things out

ALSO, HOW CAN YOU TEXT ME AND SEND ME VIDEOS WHILE TALKING TO ME OVER THE PHONE?? Glad to see there aren't any consequences in just hanging up randomly, also some of these people were painfully impatient.

Several game breaking bugs cause the game to become unplayable near the end. One is a graphical lock where a "glitch" occurs during a cut scene, but even after the scene ends, the "glitch" persisted for me the entire time, making ALL text and UI elements completely unreadable. This was fixed by reloading the game to an earlier save over and over and over and replaying the same sequence until it didn't get stuck one time. Second, a permanent soft lock occurs in some of the decision trees, causing a clue to never "unlock" and preventing you from being able to continue the game. There's no other quest or options or paths, this "clue" just never gets unlocked and you're forced to restart the game to take a different path.

There's a decent game in here somewhere, but I can't recommend it after years since its release and it's still broken.

The first one was good, this one is okay. They did increase the production value and the scope, but downgraded the horror elements into "atmosphere" elements. Instead of reading its more gamified. The characters annoying and unlikeable as intended, unfortunately even after their supposed redemption. They cut down on easter eggs and references, and replaying is tedious due to the barely functional fast-forward. In conclusion, it got less streamlined and has new experimental functions, but it made the overall experience worse.

Interesting crime mystery game, told through a cell phone. Has some creepy moments, but nothing too scary. The story is pretty decent, but requires alot of digging for clues that are some what hard to find, especially if you don't want to read long text documents and social media posts. I got one of the bad endings, the story just sort of took a left turn and it quickly derailed and ended. I'm guessing the good end is more detailed.

I played through the game a few times, trying to get all achievements and different endings. I'll do a little pro/con List about what I liked and what I disliked about the game. Of course it's just my personal opinion.

+ I really like the glitching phone / camera idea that was also in the first Simulacra games and the spooky faces / movements make me pretty paranoid irl too
+ I think the Person playing Maya and the Detective did a great job with the acting and seem very convincing to me. Also, the detective is a funny Boomer
+ Scanning posts, videos and messages and trying to find out where to use them is really fun
+ I feel like there are a ton of dialogue options and that the gameplay can change (and also end early), depending on what you choose
+ It's nice, that you can speed up the (text) dialogues, after you played through the game

- Mina, Arya and Rex don't seem very convincing in terms of acting, but maybe it's on purpose, because they all play people they are not online and maybe it's supposed to look "fake"
- I really dislike the timed responses, where you don't have enough time to even read all options before the timer runs out (most of the time) and that timer still exist when you already played through the game once
- There are videos you still can't close early, even when you already played the game before, so you are forced to watch them from beginning to end
- It seems like there is no Pause menu where you can adjust settings like volume and to close the game, I have to use alt+F4

But overall, I think the game is pretty decent and better than I thought at first. Except the "entity", there is a lot of truth to it in terms of social media and how much is fake and even though I wish there were more "horror"-elements to it, when they do appear, it is really scary. I will probably try to get all achievements and then start the next game in the series. 7/10

中年老登玩得一脸懵逼。玩了几个小时都还是懵的，邮件，聊天，社交媒体好几个app，完全不知道哪个是哪个。
整个解密过程有一步一步的要干嘛的提示，不看完全不知道要干什么，看了。。。。就没有解密任何关系了，就照着做就好了。人物名字有视中文有时英文，对不起来谁是谁，反应半天。可能是和爱媒体社交的年轻人玩。
所以完全没玩明白这个游戏。。。。。脑电波没对上

被害者のスマホを操作して推理するホラーゲーム。
エンド二つ見るぐらいで7時間程度。プレイ時間は人によるはず。
亡くなった人のスマホを覗くどころか、がっつり操作して好き勝手電話掛けたり返信したりできる。
倫理観どうなってるんだって気分になるが、現実では絶対にできないことができるのが面白い。
SNSやメール履歴から情報を探っていくのが基本だが、被害者および容疑者が全員インフルエンサーなのがこのゲームの特徴のひとつ。
さすがに現実ほどではないが、インフルエンサー四人とそのシンパやアンチの大量の投稿から情報を探っていくのが大変。
と同時に、現代の警察や探偵はこれ以上の大量の情報を捌いているんだろうなぁ、と苦労の一端に思いを馳せてしまう。
関係者とチャットで会話している裏でその人のSNSが更新されたり、急に電話が掛かってきたりと、リアルタイムにスマホを使っている感覚になるのも面白い。
対面の会話には「拘束」の要素があるが、通信を介したコミュニケーションにはそれがないことを再確認した。

このゲーム性であれば、登場人物の人となりをもっと掘り下げて見てみたかったと思うし、マルチエンド式だが周回がやや面倒だったりと、小さい不満点はあるが、他人のスマホを好き勝手触る体験が面白かったので、オススメ。

Après attention, le jeu n'est qu'en FULL ENG pas de sous titre fr ou même de doublage FR donc si vous ne maîtrisez pas un minimum la langue de shakespeare ce sera difficile d'apprécier le jeu dans son entiereté.

Just like the game before, this game was good too, still have a phone and still feel's like your going through someone's personal life from their phone. I do think it has WAY MORE than the fist game, as in there are more music, which was fine all around, the actors were... Eh. I think the best actor was the detective. The "glitches" was a big thing in the first game that made it scary, and this time I think they wanted it to be more different, and I don't like it. Some of them were actually pretty good though.

The story in this game as well was probably the main thing for this game, and it's indefinably more different than the first because we were a random that found a phone our doorstep. This game you either be a detective or a reporter - which only changes a few dialogue's, I do wish there was more deeper stuff about those two, like different puzzles because your not a detective or maybe different evidence because your a reporter - and you are looking into a closed case about Maya Crane.

I only had a big issue with the actors, maybe how the camera was as well in the cutscenes? But beside's that, I think it really hold's up for being the second game, i don't think it's better for many reasons, but I don't think it's worse as well. It sits alongside with the first game for me at 8/10.

One word: Boring. I liked the first Simulacra to a point, at least I was interested to see what was going on in it. The acting had no improvement from the first game, the story was less interesting, and there were genuinely no scares at all in this one. I tried getting all achievements, but I became too bored. Perhaps I'll go back sometime and get them.

tentando complementar a história do simulacra 1, simulacra 2 expande o modo de como a história se desenvolve mas é confuso, massante, e chato demais pra tentar fazer todo o caminho correto até chegar no "final bom". É grande não da pra mentir, mas se perde no besteirol que não existia no primeiro jogo, é raso pra um jogo de investigação e principalmente da raiva por coisinhas pequenas. Having played the first game a while back, I was seriously impressed at how they stepped it up in this second instalment. The first was great, but seeing how they improved on it in this game had me gripped.

Great length to it, short but not too short. Just a few hours, which is fantastic for someone like myself who doesn't often have time to sink my teeth into a 70+ hour game.

O jogo tenta expandir o mundo apresentado - e, pra mim, já explorado o suficiente - no primeiro jogo. Não há nada muito inédito e nem que não tenha sido deixado de lado pelo antecessor, por isso, esse jogo tenta trazer o simulacra de uma maneira diferente, mais como uma entidade espiritual, não como uma inteligência artificial maligna/vírus, além de trazer novos personagens. Apesar dessas tentativas de inovar, não há como fugir do "mais do mesmo".
O jogo é bom, tem uma história bacana, mas, por justamente ser o sucessor de Simulacra 1, faz o player ter grandes expectativas que, ao final, não serão completamente atendidas. Se você for jogar, desapegue um pouco do primeiro e não compare. O game é ótimo, mas, ao contrário do último, deixa um pouquinho a desejar. É um 7,5 de 10.

Pominę wstęp na czym polega gra, ponieważ zdecydowanie rekomenduje zacząć od pierwszej części...

Tym razem wszystko dzieje się od strony detektywistycznej lub dziennikarskiej. Zależy jaką role wybierzemy. Jednak kto ogrywał pierwszą część ten na pewno pamięta naszego detektywa Murilo, który co jakiś czas dzwonił do nas w pierwszej części. Po głosie detektywa idzie się domyśleć, że akcja dzieje się co najmniej kilkadziesiąt lat później.

Wracając do samej gry...

Druga część to jeszcze lepsza zabawa w psychologię kryminalistyczną. Gra nie pokazuje nam palcem jak mamy dotrzeć do elementów układanki. Możemy na kilka sposób dojść do informacji przez myszkowanie, szantaż, kłamstwo lub podszywanie się. Konstrukcja tej mechaniki sprawia, że gra staje się regrywalna! To nie jest produkcja którą przejdziesz i odłożysz. Teoretycznie posiada aż 7 zakończeń zależnie od tego jak poprowadzimy fabułę.

Sama rozgrywka niesamowicie wciąga, nadal potrafi stworzyć niezły plot twist. Świetnie buduje napięcie i potrafi celnie znienacka wystraszyć.

Na promocji za jedynie 5 zł, To będzie jedna z lepiej zainwestowanych piątek w Twoim życiu. :D

[h1] Story [/h1] Eine Influencerin ist Tod und wir sollen mit Hilfe eines Detektivs und dem Handy der verstorbenen Hinweise darauf finden was mit ihr passiert ist

[h1] Gameplay [/h1] Das Gameplay ähnelt dem Vorgänger sehr stark & ist sehr simpel. Wir klicken uns durch verschiedene Apps, Bilder, E-Mails, Chat Aktivitäten & Internet Seiten durch und müssen Hinweise finden die uns weiter helfen. Es gibt einige Rätsel die man lösen muss, welche an sich ganz nett sind, u.a. Passwörter & Fallakten herausfinden und Videodateien miteinander kombinieren um verschlüsselte Videos & Chat Nachrichten zu entschlüsseln. Es gibt ein Hinweis System welches auch recht gut ist und wirkliche Hinweise bis hin zur direkten Lösung bringt. Es gibt bei diesem Spiel für mich aber 2 Probleme und zwar 1. Einige der Chat Interaktionen sind Zeit begrenzt das heißt man muss oft direkt auf den Button klicken um zu antworten und schnell eine von Drei Antwort Möglichkeiten wählen was echt nervig gemacht ist. Es gab viele Stellen wo ich einfach den Chat Verlauf mitverfolgt habe ohne auf den Antworten Button zu drücken, weil ich erstmal warten wollte was gesagt wird aber Nein das geht hier nicht. Es ist zwar nicht dauerhaft so aber in vielen Fällen und das nervt und was mich noch mehr aufgeregt hat sind die 3 Charaktere mit denen man Interagieren muss. Diese sind allesamt sehr Unsympathisch und sie machen es einen nicht Leicht sie zu mögen oder auch nur Ansatzweise zu verstehen. Es sind halt irgendwelche Möchtegern Influencer die über Leichen gehen um Anerkennung und Likes zu bekommen. Für das Gute Ending muss man mit allen Dreien zusammen arbeiten während bei einem der Bad Endings einer der 3 als nächstes stirbt. Ich habe eines der Bad Endings bekommen und habe kein Interesse das Spiel nochmals durchzuspielen weil die Charaketre einfach nur nervig sind

[h1] Achievements [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 27 Erfolge. Man muss das Spiel hierfür allerdings mehrmals durchspielen weil es mehrere Endings (3 Bad & 1 Good) und Entscheidungen gibt, die mit Achievements verbunden sind wie z.B. bei einem Quiz muss man 4 Mögliche Resultate erzielen

[h1] Fazit [/h1] Die Story an sich ist interessant genauso wie beim Vorgänger. Teil 1 war aber meiner Meinung nach um Längen besser. Hier dreht sich alles um das Thema Influencer (Scammer & Faker) und wie sie die Leute im Prinzip hinters Licht führen um Geld, Likes & Anerkennung zu bekommen. Die Charaktere sind einfach nur nervig und total unsympathisch und machen es dem Spieler nicht gerade Leicht das Gute Ending erreichen zu wollen. Ich gebe dem Spiel dennoch gerade so einen Daumen nach oben weil die Story an sich interessant ist. Wer mit dem Thema Influencer was anfangen kann und über die Persönlichkeiten der Charaktere hinweg sehen kann, für den/die ist dieses Spiel definitiv zu Empfehlen. Ich persönlich fand Teil 1 aber wie gesagt um Längen besser

[b]Simulacra 2[/b] jest dowodem na to, że niekiedy maksyma „więcej, mocniej” może się sprawdzić w praktyce. Tym właśnie jest druga część tej zacnej serii, która dostała całkiem udany spin-off, oraz część trzecią. Na tyle była odradzana przez innych użytkowników [u]steam[/u], że wolałem się trzymać od niej z daleka, niż marnować swój czas na tą produkcję. Według różnych opinii, wydaje się być zrobiona w błyskawicznym tempie, nie dopieszczona, byle tylko zarobić kilka groszy, płynąc na popularności wcześniejszych odsłon. Dzisiaj wgłębiam się w kontynuację, która podobała mi się o wiele bardziej, niż protoplasta.

Od samego początku czuć, że na grę został przeznaczony o wiele większy budżet. Samo intro, które pojawia się przed naszymi oczami, daje gwarancję jakości. Na pewno zapamiętam produkcję na długo, na tyle długo, żeby ją komuś polecić. Pierwsze zaskoczenie, wybór postaci. Ma to znaczenie marginalne, różni się kilkoma zwrotami akcji, innymi odpowiedziami i interakcją z postaciami pobocznymi. Tym razem wchodzimy w skórę początkującego detektywa, ciężko stąpającego po ziemi agnostyka, który nie uwierzy, dopóki czegoś nie dotknie. Drugą opcją fabularną, jest dziennikarz lokalnego faktu, który umieści artykuł na ostatniej stronie, tuż koło zdjęcia gołej baby. Inaczej, niż w części pierwszej, nie znajdujemy telefonu na wycieraczce, zastanawiając się, jak do cholery wziął się pod naszymi drzwiami. Tym razem prowadzimy dochodzenie w sprawie śmierci znanej influencerki, zmarłej tragicznie w swoim mieszkaniu. Sama śmierć jest owiana tajemnicą, a bez obciążających dowodów policja zamiotła sprawę pod dywan, i to już po pierwszym tygodniu.

Zadaniem naszego protagonisty będzie grzebać w telefonie tragicznie zmarłej, odkrywając kolejne elementy układanki. Tym razem został wprowadzony nowy system rozgrywki, nazwany [b]WARDEN[/b]. Jest to policyjna aplikacja, która ułatwia zbieranie dowodów, poszlak i wskazówek. Te informacje pozwolą nam odblokować kolejne informacje, uzyskać nową paletę danych, po czym kombinować dalej. Jest to spore ułatwienie względem poprzedniej odsłony. Skończyło się żmudne układanie słów w odpowiedniej kolejności, oraz puzzle złożone ze zdjęć ofiary. Sam system daje nam dostęp do policyjnej bazy danych, odblokowując wartościowe wskazówki, które pomogą w naszych zmaganiach.

Tym razem bohaterami przedstawienia zostają trzej influencerzy, bliscy współpracownicy i „przyjaciele” poszkodowanej. Jako przedstawiciele „gwiazd” Internetu, całe Ich życie prywatne jest wyidealizowanym obrazem ich smutnej, szarej rzeczywistości. Żeby odkryć prawdę będziemy grzebać na lokalnym twiterku, oraz instagramie, odkrywać stare wiadomości i zadawać pytania. Mnóstwo pytań, które nie zostawią nas bez odpowiedzi, i niedomówień. Biada tym którzy będą przechodzić grę na szybko, nie analizując istotnych informacji. Kluczem do rozwiązania tajemniczej śmierci, jest szukanie dziur w logice naszych bohaterów, postawienie ich pod ścianą i przedstawianie dowodów na ich kłamliwe, fałszywe życie w Internecie. System jest na tyle dobrze przemyślany, że pokazuje nam zablokowaną opcję dialogową i musimy wykonać konkretną aktywność, by ją odblokować. Jednak gdybyśmy się zablokowali, to dostajemy wbudowane podpowiedzi, ułatwiające nam podróż po tym dziwnym, i tajemniczym świecie.

Czym jednak byłby horror, gdybyśmy nie oczekiwali dziwnych, strasznych momentów? Gra serwuje nam przeróżne sytuacje, w których włos zjeży się nam na skórze. Widać tutaj inspiracje japońskim horrorem, w tym [u]Klątwą[/u]. Naszym przeciwnikiem będzie tajemniczy [b]Rippleman[/b], który jest inną wariacją przeciwnika z poprzedniej gry. Jest to tym bardziej przerażające, że nie poluje na swoje ofiary za pomocą aplikacji randkowej, a wpłynął na szerokie wody, na ocean gwiazdeczek internetowych. Zawierają one istny pakt z szatanem. Za cenę większej popularności, oraz usunięcia hejtu, płacą swoim własnym życiem. To jest problem społeczny, z którym mamy dzisiaj do czynienia. Wyidealizowane życie na pokaz, który uprawiają niektóre gwiazdy, nie może mieć w sobie skazy. Inaczej zostaną one pożarte przez osoby, oczekujące na niewielki błąd, byle tylko zacząć igrzyska, wylewając wiadro pomyj. W Internecie, przecież wszyscy jesteśmy anonimowi i łatwiej kogoś obrazić, docisnąć, niż powiedzieć im to w twarz. Gdyby w naszym świecie istniał [b]Rippleman[/b] to wiele, ale to wiele osób, poszło by na taki układ, byle tylko utrzymać się na wodzie, a nie topić razem z resztą.

[b]Simulacra 2[/b] jest lepiej przemyślanym tworem, z usprawnioną rozgrywką, lepiej napisanymi bohaterami i z większym budżetem. Zwroty akcji spełniają swoją rolę, grę przechodzi się sprawniej, nie mecząc na źle zaplanowanych pomysłach. Kto grał i uwielbiał pierwszą część, ten poczuje się jak w domu.

i loved the simulacra games, simulacra 1 was my childhood, i loved the concept of going through someone's phone because im nosy as heck, checking every clues and hints which others might find boring which is understandable everyone has their own tastes. gameplay was fun. the acting on this one was not the very best but i love that there's more to check out on this game. till this day im still in love with this type of gameplay it was cool. anyways, mom im gay.
