Yes I am an elf gooner how can you tell.

Major spoiler alert:

It's a story that already ended long ago, no new thing can be added because it's already at the end cover of the book no more paper to write. All you can do is to review and maybe add some of your personal note and that's it, I too wish I can keep Deed around but she is already move on from her story, thus ending an era of her age.
Scary thing to think that maybe after 50 year weeb still talking about the "Golden Age" of anime and they take this elf that never aged, while any beta generation and onward have nothing to talk about. You know it's the dusk of the industry if any anime studio producer rely on key stroke do the story writing for them, it's far more sinister than ai generated content.

I never realize I want an elf wielding compound bow so bad though.

My final thought about "Record of Lodoss War-Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth-"

Is a very interesting game with a Symphony of the Night feel with anime nostalgia,
the map background is insane, the cutscene it has hit and misses the boss fights is intense.

one of my favorite boss fight is Pirotess
but the worst boss fight is the boss rush is all about endurance

Como a maioria que acredito que se interessou pelo jogo, eu tinha assistido o anime original a qual amo desde quando conheci na infância em um VHS! A história com certeza vai ser bem confusa para quem não conhece o universo e personagens da obra original, talvez faltando um cuidado para deixar ela apresentavel legal para novos conhecedores.

[b] Gameplay [/b]
O bom e velho Castlevania, mas com mecânicas divertidas de intercalar ataques de arma corpo a corpo e arco a distância. Nada muito dificil, e com um ou outro boss que se precisa pegar um pouco do padrão e saber como spamar ataque.

[b] Desafio e Progressão [/b]
Com um mapa que te faz ir e voltar pelas mesmas áreas várias vezes, e inimigos irritantes em areas de buracos ou apertadas. Alguns personagens aliados fornecem opções extras de ganhar dinheiro e itens, mas são bem opcionais para progressão. O jogo não é de nem longe dificil, e pode ser zerado até mesmo por quem não é acostumado com o estilo acredito eu.

[b] Gráficos e Direção de Arte [/b]
Pixel art linda e bem detalhada, os inimigos são bem variados e dificilmente são só recolors. Soube recriar os personagens clássicos de forma muito fiel, mesmo com o minimalismo do pixel art. Cenários, skills, boss, todos impecaveis, se mexer estraga.

[b] Trilha Sonora e Áudio [/b]
Um ponto que me surpreendeu muito, as músicas não tem inspiração no anime, mas são ótimas, com o uso de diversos instrumentos e que fazem balançar seu corpo em algumas fases.

[b] Bugs [/b]
Nenhum, bom, as vezes eu achava meio sem sentido a colisão de alguns monstros com a personagem, em uma distância que na minha tela estava distante..., mas pode ser skill issue só.

[b] Conclusão [/b]
Jogo extremamente curto, da pra finalizar em uma tarde. Divertido em tudo que um metroidvania deve ser, e muito nostalgico para os fãs da obra original. Vale a pena em uma promoção boa de valor.

Very enjoyable game, although I don't know if I'd say it has enough content to be worth $20. It has some lovely aesthetics and Deedlit is very fun to control, especially at the end. The game has an element system, where enemies are strong or weak to some, with Fire and Wind applying to Deedlit directly and the others mostly exclusive to certain spells. As you might expect, Fire makes Deedlit more powerful (in particular giving her a more mobile slide that can go through enemies), and Wind increasing jump height and allowing for hovering. Deedlit is immune to attacks of whichever element is currently equipped. Most bosses attack with mixes of the two, and they were mostly designed well enough to make me really consider what element I'm in.
That said the game was generally very easy and with how quickly you reach one boss from the next. I would've liked it if they required more deliberation. I didn't need potions until some of the very last fights, and for the most part bosses don't need much strategy or pattern recognition to get through.

Achei o combate um dos pontos altos do jogo. A movimentação de [b]Deedlit[/b] é extremamente ágil, e o sistema de armas (espadas, arcos e lanças, etc) é variado e responsivo. A mecânica principal envolve alternar entre os elementos de fogo e vento para causar dano eficiente em inimigos (que possuem fraquezas elementares) e, mais importante, para absorver ataques inimigos do elemento oposto, recuperando vida. Isso cria um fluxo de combate dinâmico e tático que para mim não ficou enjoativo.

[i]Arte e Trilha Sonora Encantadoras:[/i]

Visualmente, o jogo excelente. O estilo pixel art da equipe é primoroso, com cenários detalhados, animações de personagens muito fluidas e efeitos de partículas bonitos. A direção de arte captura perfeitamente a essência fantástica do Anime.

A trilha sonora, repleta de arranjos nostálgicos da obra original, é um presente para os fãs e cria uma atmosfera imersiva mesmo para quem não conhece a franquia.

Os cenários são bem construídos, com salas interconectadas de forma lógica. Além disso, a dificuldade é um tanto [b]Irregular[/b]: o jogo começou desafiador, mas conforme fui adquirindo e passei a entender o sistema [b]Elemental[/b], a segunda metade se torna consideravelmente mais fácil, diminuindo a tensão.

Nice fantasy Metroidvania platformer obviously inspired by the classic Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, but not as good or rich in content. Then again, it might be nostalgia misleading me. Not familiar at all with the Record of Lodoss War fiction, but I was intrigued by the story anyway. I'd argue I liked it more because I did not know what had happened before. A warning not to play this if you ever intend to read the novels or watch the anime. Myself, it made me want to watch it afterwards. I liked how the heroine moved as she felt responsive. The mechanic of switching between wind and fire affinity was well exploited and enjoyable. I was glad it wasn't between more than two, but you do eventually get more spells using other elements.

The soundtrack was good and mostly appropriate but nowhere near as great or memorable as Symphony. Very good animation for the heroine, less noticeable for the enemies. Beautiful pixel art. I especially liked the emphasis on female classical statues. There was a recurring bug where my controller kept vibrating until I quit the game. A minor problem was not able to look up and down (like Hollow Knight) so I could know what was coming. Changing powers and items became clumsy as the inventory became fuller. I was surprised there was no difficulty levels, as the only one veered to the easy side except for the later chapters and bosses. I didn't mind and enjoyed the progression and exploration.

Сложно судить. Прошёл, но в итоге не насладился. Скорее минус, чем плюс.
Играбельно, прошёл, но есть бесячие минусы:
- в игре 6 актов, первые 5 ты словно в Hello Kitty играешь, включая боссов, но в 6 акте резко задирают сложность воткнув толпы толстых и тяжких для убийства мобов, с самонаводящимися выстрелами, летающими над огромными пропастями, улетающими в текстуры стен и т.п.
- нет "рывка" - есть отскок, но он бесполезен чуть менее чем полностью - сзади либо конец платформы, либо шипы, либо и то и то. Многие боссы и мобы бьют дальше отскока
- ожидание конца анимации перед следующим действием. Например, нельзя сделать "подкат" вперёд в бою, надо перестать бить, подождать, затем присесть, подождать и только затем катнуться вперёд. очень долго, не для боя, только для нескольких мест прохода
- этот подкат как заявлено должен играть роль "рывка" с неуязвимостью, но помимо сложности его применения в бою, многие противники либо бьют далеко, либо слишком большие, чтобы полностью их проскочить
- ОГЛУШЕНИЕ, максимально дебильная вещь. у ГГ много ХП и урон в большинстве случаев держит хорошо, но в определённый момент, причём я не понял что к этому приводит, но вам могут нанести оглушение, ГГ стоит как дура с летающими звёздочками в ступоре, а враг продолжает по вам наваливать, снова и снова, вы снова улетаете в оглушение и так повторяется, несколько раз чуть ли не с фулХП из-за оглушения в итоге улетал на респ
- медленное всё - героиня, стрельба с лука, диалоги, кат-сцены, переключение фаз боссов у вас просто отбирают управление и надо ждать, пропустить и ускорить нельзя, диалоги можно проматывать но по одному "баблу" (возможно целиком, но тогда сюжет мимо вовсе)
- на фул ачивки надо задрачивать, не скил, а имено гринд - тонны мобов на золото, тонны мобов на выбить оружие с микрошансом. Камон, я за всю игру только 2 раза выбил оружие с монстров, и то второй раз на платформе куда не мог тогда попасть без двойного прыжка, так что и не подобрал в итоге. А надо выбить вроде целую кучу с разных мобов, шанс там видать совсем никчёмный
- НЕПРОПУСКАЕМЫЕ, мать их, ТИТРЫ в конце, за такое надо бить, пропустить нельзя, ускорения при удержании кнопок тоже не заметил. Минут 5 после финала текст крутится и ещё "сцена после титров", прежде чем можно выйти как положено, а не прибив процесс игры.

não foge nada do que é sotn, mas mesmo sem melhorar ou mudar a fórmula, eu amei bastante! virou um daqueles casos em que eu precisava de mais, pois ele é bem curtinho.. a mecânica de trocar elementos é divertida, o level design é muito bom e não considerei nenhum momento chato. além de que a pixel art é uma das mais lindas que já vi, arrasaram muito! estarei considerando ver as obras originais pra entender melhor a história, que no jogo parece realmente só um momento jogado pensado principalmente pra quem já é fã.

Really short and relatively simple metroidvania. I've never seen the source material I just thought it look neat. I think it is trying to continue the story or by like a "side story" but I couldn't tell you for sure. All I know is that I like how the main character plays and you have some pretty cool abilities, the movement is snappy and the soundtrack is also pretty good too. I also beat it in about 7-8 hours, which I think is a good amount of time, I'm sort of tired of 30 hours of padding. The only downside is that I felt like the level design didn't feel so interesting. Even if some of the art is well done, it repeats itself a lot and it doesn't often feel like levels flow together in an interesting or memorable way like some other games of this genre. If I didn't have a map I probably couldn't remember where most stuff was.

Metroidvania bom, mas nada espetacular, lembra muito castlevania symphony of the nigth e bloodstained, porem muito inferior, não da para comparar nada além dos gráficos e da jogabilidade.
Inimigos fracos e pobres sem muita personalidade e historia fraca.

A cada pouco você ganha uma arma ou arco e acaba nem usando o anterior, não faz muito sentido.
Possui dois familiares, e é bem bacana como a jogabilidade deles interfere no mapa e contra inimigos, mas a bem pouca magia.

Como sou fã do estilo eu recomendo pegar em uma promoção, coisa de 12 horas se finaliza e vale a diversão

Avaliação: Muito Bom. Apesar do nome gigantesco, a duração é curtinha. Mas não se engane, pois o jogo é muito divertido!

A protagonista domina 2 elementos: Fogo e Vento. Eles são cruciais tanto para avançar nos mapas quanto no combate, dando uma ótima variação de gameplay. Temos uma boa variedade de armas e arcos para usar, onde eles podem ser dropados dos inimigos, achados em locais mais difíceis do mapa ou comprados na loja. Também possuímos magias simples e mecânicas clássicas de metroidvania, como pulo duplo e dash por exemplo.

A exploração é simples e objetiva, com um desafio bacana de combate de monstros e puzzles tranquilos para resolver. Tem alguns locais secretos mas são poucos, o jogo é bem direto ao ponto. O visual em pixel art é muito bonito, com destaque para alguns chefes da campanha. A trilha sonora é bem bacana também.

A história é interessante, mas nada tão profundo. Zerei e fiquei triste com a duração curta, queria mais algumas horas de diversão nele.

Having played Luna Nights before and finally having gotten to this one, I can confidently say that Team Ladybug just doesn't miss.
I've made the mistake of playing this without watching the anime first, so most of the references and context were lost on me, but there was a very specific emotional core and theme to it that still hit me at the end. I'll have to catch up on the series soon, if anything this got me hugely interested.

Now, whereas Luna Nights kinda did its own thing despite obvious inspirations, Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is a lot more blatantly inspired by Symphony of the Night than by anything else: it's apparent in the animations, the way weapons work, Deedlit even leaves afterimages behind when walking, much like Alucard, it's all pretty obvious. Even if heavily referential in that sense, this one greatly improves and adds onto what SotN did in a way that makes it a joy to play, by making combat and movement a lot more snappy and responsive (you can move while attacking, for one) and by adding some really interesting unique mechanics.
At the core of the game is an element-swapping mechanic based off the two spirits you have available, each granting your attacks one type of elemental damage while also making you immune to it, which leads to really interestingly designed bossfights where you need to be swapping constantly (thankfully it only takes a button press). It get a little brain-melting with the more frantic fights, but it's a lot of fun. It's not a hard game at all, and that's fine!
Exploration felt pretty great for me in this one, most of the time traversal doesn't feel like a chore the way it does in some other metroidvanias. The map and locales may not have been the most inspiring and original thing, but they did their job.
One thing that felt really half-baked and baffling was the inclusion of shops; in Luna Nights they mostly made sense, but here the weapons you can buy are often really expensive and only marginally better than what you realistically have available, not to mention you're basically guaranteed to find something better for free by exploring shortly after having found one said shop.
The bow felt a little unwieldy to use for a while, but I didn't take too long to get used to it, and it's still a nice option to have; there's also a handful of puzzles that require using it in somewhat creative ways, and they were pretty fun.

The graphics and music are, of course, top notch. It does feel a little silly to watch Deedlit walk basically the same way as Alucard though. One other thing I could fault the game for in this sense is that it gets somewhat cluttered visually during some bossfights: a lot of the bosses are human-sized and there are quite a few visual effects going off when you attack and do things, which leads to having trouble reading their animations and reacting accordingly if you're not taking a break from attacking to specifically do so. Thankfully these bosses work mostly through predictable patterns though, so after at most 3 tries you're bound to have the rotation figured out in a way where reading the attacks isn't even needed. Still could have been handled better.

Anyways great game, I'll watch the anime soon enough.

I picked this up after seeing endless mentions and rave reviews for it... And I honestly don't understand where it's all coming from? It feels like a half-finished M'vania from the early aughts (maybe something from SNK since the graphics are a little better than the ol' GBA fare?):

[list][*]You figure out the story in the first ~1 hour, it's not particularly subtle and basically spelled out to you...
[*]...yet random anime figure you've neven seen before and have no attachment to regularly pops up to monologue "enigmatically" (you know the cliché and expressions...) at you for 30-90 seconds. I just stopped caring after a while and button-mashed to get past these gameplay interruptions.
[*]There's an xp system and level-up mechanic... that doesn't really do anything, it barely even changes your stats over long time.
[*]The music is very intense, in a bad way: It's more or less a constant blaring in that low-fi ~PS1 style, never fits the "spooky" style of the game and milieus and you just filter it out after a while. There's [b]no[/b] sound option to turn it off, goes without saying.
[*]Of course it also has a player stun mechanic: Imagine if, say, Hollow Knight or similar games just removed the controls and made your character stand around like target dummy for ~5 seconds? Some enemies inflict this on [i]one[/i] hit, most take a little longer to build it up.[/list]

I can't say it's an outright [b]bad[/b] game but it feels like one that that released ~2005, and any qualities it might've had 20(+) years ago have long since been refined and made better by a host of other games. Only get this if you're plain [i]desperate![/i]

Great game! The level design is very well-thought-out, and the bosses have interesting patterns. The only disappointing part was the spirit ultimates—they felt pretty useless. I mostly used Earth and Darkness (mainly to bypass spikes and avoid the frustration of precision platforming).

太难了，一个arpg设定那么远的被创弹飞距离，算是结合了act版和rpg版恶魔城的缺点。等你在版边被小怪锤到另外一个屏幕几次就不想玩了。人物属性几乎没有提升，所有地图的杂兵都要认真打，不然随便碰一下飞好远。故事我玩到一半时候猜到结局了。罗德斯岛fans千万别玩，这种狗尾续貂的剧情看了难受。游戏通过不同颜色的门和角色跳跃能力控制探索范围，导致很多地方需要多次跳跃练习。没有加速冲刺技能，走的慢每个怪都要清，探索起来是种折磨。

完全粉丝向的作品，中规中矩的恶魔城。后期怪物的数值太高，明明主角也就一百多点血，被打一下就掉三十多，不经意间就被碰死了。再加上本作的回血机制就促使着你要么马上被打死，要么慢慢等血回满然后被打一下掉出Lv3陷入死循环（虽然机制难受但也不是不能接受，比前作Tohou lunanight差远了，擦弹也差不多但奈何人家可以通过宝石成长啊）。到boss战时那可真是三体人吊打原始人啊，主角机动性就恶魔城来说本来也算正常，但奈何打人形boss时是真的不够，有些招式不研究一下是必吃的，初见也一定会被其阴间的粪招打到。外加boss需要背板，出招套路甚至是顺序都是固定的，很难受

Um jogo lindíssimo visualmente, com um gameplay bastante divertido porém teve um "problema" que me incomodou um pouco:

O jogo não faz a menor questão de te explicar nada em quesito de história. Seja de mundo ou personagens. Simplesmente te joga lá e introduz personagens que aparentemente são bem importantes no universo do jogo, mas se você não conhece, como foi o meu caso... Só lamento.

Sei que o universo de Lodoss War é bem rico, então pra quem já tá familiarizado com tudo (ou uma parte pelo menos) a experiência com certeza vai ser bem melhor. E essa é única reclamação que eu tenho a respeito. A questão é que a jogabilidade é tão fluida e gostosinha que acabou meio que ofuscando essa questão pra mim, mas é algo que vale ser citado.

Fun and good looking game. Some of the dialogue is cliche and I beat it in about 7.5 hours at 97% map completion which seems kind of short to me but I got it on sale for under $10 so feel it was worth it at that price. I don't think I'd recommend getting it if it's more than that though as there isn't really much replay value to the game and again, kind of short game overall.

The early stages were challenging but fun whereas this stage felt challenging in the same way a mario kaizo game does "challenge". Fantastic platformer!! The game was a bit challenging but it was so satisfying beating the final boss.

I've played a fair amount of Metroidvanias in my day, and this is one of the ones that gets closest to that feeling I got when I played SotN for the first time. The game play is similar, though I don't know if it's as in depth as SotN (min-maxing and such). The sound design and old school pixel art is doing a lot of the work in this aspect. I do think that people who haven't watched or read Record of Lodoss War will be a little lost when it comes to the plot, but this is a game targeted towards that demo, so I think that's okay.

Gameplay-wise, it's fairly simple. I have a gone months between playing it, putting it down, and picking it back up, and it's easy to get back into the slaying of monsters. Don't take that as a lack of interest in the story or gameplay; FFXIV is a time sink, so most of my time is spent there. But, when downtime happens, this is a great alternative while I'm waiting for the servers to come back up.

I give it an 8 out of 10. I haven't finished it, so that may change.

Story - In short this is the story of a female elf named Deedlit who mysteriously awakens in a dungeon and must discover why, how she got there and and then how to escape.

+ Just like team ladybug's other projects this game has beautiful graphics as well.
+ A cool ikaruga style of gameplay swapping between the spirits which leads to some cool innovative boss fights.
+ I love how this game takes inspiration from one of my favorite metroidvanias of all time CSOTN with the beautiful animations, solid gameplay and overall feel.
+ Solid ending with a cliff hanger.
+ Boss Rush Mode.
- When I crouch attack, and then immediately try to do slide the character jumps instead.
- The bestiary doesn't show the name of the weapons dropped by creatures making it difficult to collect all the weapons.

Good fun, not overly hard but not easy either. Took me 17Hrs to 100% and it's not a drag to do it. Worst part was probably farming gold to buy out the shop, but you get close enough just through playing the game.
