You can say a lot about a game’s art direction just by looking at its fonts. From the very first moment, Pupperazzi’s stock, out-of-place typography and visually sterile environments struck me as lazy and lacking any real direction or meaning. After finishing it, I can say I was right - it is charming on the surface, but ultimately very shallow and, at times, genuinely unpleasant.

First of all, for a game centered around photography, it is crucial that it actually LOOKS good. Pupperazzi consists of several stages with varied settings, from lighthouse beaches to nighttime cityscapes. I liked the dogs, and the environments themselves are serviceable, but the moment you pay attention to the UI - menus, quest design, navigation, or the animation, everything starts to fall apart. Dogs skate without any change in posture, hover midair in near t-poses, or awkwardly ride bikes for no clear reason. The entire presentation feels unpolished. I do not have extensive experience with games in this genre, but Umurangi Generation, despite aiming for a completely different tone, delivers a far more cohesive experience. Here, the inconsistency constantly broke immersion, and for most of my playtime, I felt more irritated than engaged. The map (as in, where you choose a location to visit), unfortunately, might be one of the worst I have ever seen.

Second, the gameplay. The quest system turns something as inherently creative as photography into a rigid checklist. That alone undermines the core appeal. Perhaps my frustration is amplified by how poorly the objectives are presented, but I often did not even bother reading them; there is almost no incentive to engage with them. Filters and lenses are locked behind a currency earned through these tasks, yet aside from one interesting “pixel” filter, nothing stood out for me. I quickly reverted to taking random photos of equally random, often awkwardly animated dogs just to fill out the Puppypedia. The abundance of cosmetic accessories also feels excessive and unfocused: multiple near-identical items (like slightly different party hats) add volume without adding value.

Overall, this might work if you simply enjoy the presence of dogs, but even then, Pupperazzi feels like a poorly executed photography sandbox that prioritizes quantity of “dog content” over thoughtfully designed experience.

I LOVED THIS GAME, SO CUTE!!!! My bf bought me this so SO OF COURSE I HAD TO PLAY IT (*ゝωб )b it's a really adorable, simple game with pretty easy achievements as well, so I recommend it 💝💖

You just take pictures of dogs, complete quests (fairly easy ones, like capturing a dog sleeping or riding a skateboard while doing tricks in the skatepark lololol), post (and gain followers), and that's basically it!

I have so many favorite pictures it's insane—the dogs look so cute and stupid at the same time it's impossible not to save that much 😭😭😭

If you’ve ever seen a cute dog on the street and thought to yourself that the world needed to see it, you'll be barking up the right tree here!

Pupperazzi is basically [b]Pokémon Snap with 100% more Golden Retrievers and a 0% chance of being set on fire[/b]. You can put top hats on Labradors (which is peak in terms of gaming experiences), there's a social media sim that is actually kinder than real life and there's no combat or stress whatsoever. Just you and a camera vs. a world of cute pups wagging their tail and looking forward to cuddles.

This game is a 6/10. On the one hand it's simple and cute, good for a play session or two, on the other hand it's $20 for an unfinished product with some annoying bugs, and some tasks which are either bugged or don't make any sense. Honestly I can see why it gets good reviews and negative reviews. Overall my main complaint is the fact the puppypedia is stupidly bugged. It'll claim you don't have a photo of something, even if you have, and then will randomly decide you had that photo later down the line when you've already retaken it ten times. But it'll use your first photo you took of it, even though it earlier claimed that it didn't count. I know I didn't explain that super well, but if you play you'll what I mean. Later tasks also have this same issue, mainly all the ones having to do with the dog and the moon.

But it's not awful at all. It's cute and simple, just something you should only get on sale.

This game is very cute and very fun, though the joy soon runs out.

Despite being a low-ish spec game, this game heats my fan stronger than a 4 hour Monster Hunter session which is a little concerning.

The game is great though, especially that you can go at your own pace and theres a mixed difficulty in shots (though i don't think they're ranked at all but you get what i mean) the only thing that kinda threw me off was how overwhelming it quickly became - you would complete a handful of requests in one area, then unlock a new time of day for that setting and another location which all came with their own quests too and its rinse and repeat.

One thing i wish it allowed more was fun, for a "fun" game, you're limited on your film and so for the first day of me playing, i had no idea what i was doing and didn't know how to get more.

apart from that, the biggest issue for me was the controls for this game, playing with a laptop touchpad is clearly a no-go but on mouse the game lags alot, the sensitivity bar is also kinda janky.

if you're considering this game, its a great time killer, and great for streaming to friends or even for something to do whilst chatting to friends

Lots of dogs and photo-taking... what could be more fun?

Gameplay: Simple, spend hours visiting locations where many dogs congregate and partake in various activities, making sure to take lots of pictures of them. You'll be asked to fulfill a variety of different quests with your camera (actually, YOU are the camera...on legs... which you'll learn when you take your first selfie, or when you see your shadow). You'll also want to fill each page of the Puppypedia, which depicts different breeds, activities, emotions, and doggy apparel. All achievements are quite doable, so don't sweat it. Some emotions and activities require a little intervention, but you'll get some tips as you play the game (especially if you read descriptions of the items in the vending machines scattered throughout each map). You'll also be able to change a dog's apparel after you achieve 55 followers on dogNET. To do this, make sure to fulfill the quests at the various locations (click on those "mail" envelopes you see floating around) and post lots of pictures to dogNET.

NOTE: "Recycle" (delete) your photos often so that you never run out of film. You only have 15 shots in your camera, but don't worry, all the photos you take required for achievements are automatically recorded, and the photos saved to the doggy Internet and/or to your "favorites" are not affected when you "recycle" those taken photos which updates the available photos in your camera. I only mention that because I didn't realize this at first, as it's not explained in the game. So, for about 45 minutes during the first level, I kept running out of film, thinking I had to find or earn more "Bonks" (dog money) to purchase more film from the vending machines. However, you do have to earn Bonks in order to keep upgrading your camera with specialty film and lenses, some of which are required to complete various quests. These specialty items become available in the vending machines as you progress through the game.

I loved this game, and wish there were a lot more like it. Buy Pupperazzi and have fun! I absolutely recommend it, especially for those who love dogs and love taking pictures.

Heart-melting levels of cute, wacky and fun atmosphere, and very relaxing. The controls are simple and easy for players of all types. I had very few moments of confusion or frustration, there were no absurd or annoying challenges. This game feels designed to be easy, accessible, and fun, regardless of how it's being played.

as a dog fan myself, i must say i'm rather disappointed with the game. for the 1st hour or so, it's a cute, fun, and simple game where you take photos of dogs and dress them up in colorful, varied, and good-looking environments! very quickly though, you realize that's all you can do. there's quests that try to help break the monotony, but they're basically just taking more pictures of something you were already going to take a picture of anyways. it also doesn't help that the dogs don't have slightly more complex animations, which again, is cute initially but then you realize it largely limits the interesting stuff the dogs can do. overall, this game is just too repetitive in many aspects that make it difficult to recommend, even on sale.

I was super excited to play this little silly game, but sadly, I got very disappointed... the dogs were not as silly as expected. the game got very repetitive very fast. Some quest didn't work for some reasons and lot sooo many picture trying to get them.

pupperazzi is a short and sweet game about photographing dogs. pet the dogs, start spontaneous dance parties, play dress up, and more! theres tons of different dog breeds that you can photograph, as well as a variety of locations and times of day. by exploring and completing photo requests, you can earn new filters, camera lenses, and more to improve your photos.

i think the only downfall of this game is its price. i 100% the game in just under 3 hours, so paying $20 USD feels incredibly expensive for what i got out of the game. so if youre interested in pupperazzi, i recommend buying it on sale instead of at full price.

This was relatively straight forward; you going around taking pictures of dogs. You can use props, filters and dress them up. It's a pretty basic game and pricey for what it offers, so I'd only get it on sale personally. It did start to drag on a little bit and got a bit repetitive with the 'quests' but overall it was really amusing. Had little to no issues with performance on the ROG Ally that are worth noting. If you like dogs a lot, you're probably gonna like this a lot too.

Very cute game where you go around taking pictures of dogs! I found the side quests and additonal content fun and there was very little complaints from me expect that I wish there was *more*. The game is not all that long (probably 3-4 hours). For $20 I wish there was at least a LITTLE more, but that's just me. Aside that, great game!

A cute straightforward game about taking photos of dogs that is sure to put a smile on your face! You fulfill requests for photos and post them on the game's social media to gain followers, netting you currency to buy different coloured film, camera lenses, etc. There's lots of options for taking that perfect puppy pic!

It's got five small levels but there's many dogs in each with items and outfits that you can give them for photo ops. Probably can be beat with achievements in about 3-4 hours. Really cute and charming - if you like this, you'll probably also like the far stranger, funnier and more poignant "An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs".

Would recommend for a pleasant way to pass an afternoon! Thank you devs :)

Carino ma niente di speciale.
Dopo aver giocato a penko park, toem e Alba volevo continuare con questi giochi cozy di fotografia e vedendo che in questo c'erano dei cani carinissimi ho pensato che potesse fare al caso mio.

Sono rimasta un po' delusa perché molti obbiettivi non capisco come si fa per portarli a termine e muoversi é macchinoso.
Proverò a giocarci ancora un po'per vedere se riesco a trovare una soluzione ma dopo due ore di gioco mi viene da dire che é solo molto ripetitivo.

Just started playing today and I adore the simple yet visually engaging gameplay! All you're doing is taking photos but to take said photos you jump, run, double jump, throw frisbees, give them treats, and rush to get the perfect shot. You could spend hours just petting the dogs and watching them do random things with the environment and props. Beautiful game!!!

A cute and relaxing game where your objective is take photos of adorable dogs and that way fulfill quests given to you by other dogs/things/people.

There is many different doggos that you can dress up and also play with/give them items in 5 different locations during 4 different times of the day. There is also multiple different effects you can give your photos depending on what lens and film you use to take them. Sadly you can not edit the photos afterwards to give them a different effect, it must be done while taking them.
You can also pet the doggos which makes the game an easy 10/10 just because of that. Jokes aside, it is an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours but it is quite pricey for what it is so I would definitely way till it goes on sale before picking it up.

I seen a few people complain about motion sickness and while I am extremely prone to getting it I haven't had any issue with this game whatsoever but your mileage may vary.

Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (9.0-2).

A game about taking pictures of dogs and petting them. Concept alone makes it 10/10.

Overall, pretty well put-together game! Super cute and I enjoyed completing all of the challenges. Doesn't take very long to 100%; even live-streaming it (meaning this time includes breaks, extra walking around, other pauses), it was less than 5 hours.

My only negative points would be:

1) It's not explained (at least from what I saw) that in order to have pups added to the pupcyclopedia, the images must be in your camera roll when you leave the stage. Meaning you can't delete them prior to leaving the stage. This was a bit frustrating at first and I had to look up why things weren't filling out in the book. (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and I will promptly fix this)

2) The fish-eye lens don't seem very powerful. I could have been doing it wrong, but I couldn't seem to get the fish-eye lens to *really* make it seem like fish-eye lens. The effect seemed very subtle and I was hoping to make things look a lot more goofy. (again please correct me if I'm missing something)

However, regardless of the 2 points above- I had a ton of fun playing it and experiencing it with my Twitch viewers. I definitely recommend giving it a go!

It's like the Pokemon Snap of dog world, except you're just a camera and sometimes the dogs just...stand absolutely still. There's little mini quests to build followers, you can throw things and pet dogs, but it's just a cute little wholesome game with low stakes.

That being said if you get motion sick easily...you will get queasy. Even if you're not running, even with the FOV real low, it's just hard not to get that ill feeling. I don't usually get motion sick and I barely made it an hour before putting the game down.

맵도 딱 4개에 시간대 4개 돌려막기로 총 17개(+1 마지막 맵) 밖에 안되지만 강아지들이 귀여움
플레이도 그냥 ~하는 사진 찍기 이런거 반복이라 별거 없지만 강아지들이 귀여움
솔직히 컨텐츠 대비 가격도 조금 비싼 것 같은데 강아지들이 귀여움....

Game is really cute and relaxing to play, but I cannot stomach playing another session. The motion sickness I get from this game is actually insane, genuinely tried to lower and raise FOV but nothing really worked.

If you don't get queasy easy then get this game, it's super cute
If you do get nauseous then i can't recommend playing sadly,,

Pupperazi is a wholesome game about taking photos of doggos in a 3d space. The actual gameplay is limited to restrictive areas where dogs are randomly spawned to fill the area. You are given tasks in each area which direct you towards moving forward in the game.. Overall the game is solid but It honestly felt more like a demo that was to be given to publishers rather than a complete game. It is worth getting as an experience but it is very short.

Pros:
-You can pet the doggos
-doggo photos
-Vivid and great art style
-Simple and easy achievements

cons:
-Very limited gameplay area
-The resolution of photos is rather low. the photos would often look very pixelated compared to the actual render of the game. The actual output resolution was 1200x900 rather than a crisp 4k as I was hoping for.
-It felt like a lot of systems were tacked on without much reason for them to exist.

I wanted this game to be more like Toem or Alba, but it didn't capture me in the same way. You can pet all the puppies and scare them with mini vacuums though as you complete challenges. 5/10

All you do in this game is take pictures of dogs. I know that sounds great but that's literally it. You walk around and click a button. It's hardly a game! A shame too cause this could've been great. Just wish there was something more to do. Also it's 20 bucks and that's pretty high for a glorified screenshot simulator.

If you like dogs, you will like this game.
If you like taking pictures and dogs, this is like the best game ever.

Many types of lenses, which is actually a neat introduction into photography. It shows well what they can do for you and your photos.
Many different film filters, go nuts with photos! I know I did.
Hope we get a sequel to this someday.
