Что там у кого не регистрируется с геймпада, я не знаю, у меня было всё нормально, играл через стимовскую систему ввода. Но игра лучше от этого не становится.

I mess with it, good deal on a sale as it's also short and arcade mode's a bit repetitive and not super interesting if you're going for all chieves after beating the campaign.

All you do is jump, dodge well telegraphed hazards and complete various objectives like staying in the spotlight or play Simon Say's etc.
It can get difficult, but not sadistically.

Only downside: it does not run on my steam deck. And controller is a must.

Really enjoyable experience. I had this game sitting in my library for a while and I'm well glad that I remembered and picked it back up. It's not a long game, yet I feel it's one of those small hidden gems of the past that not enough people have paid attention to.
The story is brief yet thought provoking. It's bleak yet real still. The sort of obstacle platforming game-play is rather enjoyable and in my experience, it was rather seamless and fluid. I haven't tried out Multiplayer mode in my experience, though the Arcade Mode is good too. Once you've gotten yourself familiar with the obstacles in the Campaign, it's a nice challenge for if you ever wanna test yourself as the traps only grow increasingly difficult, faster and more imposing.
I think the only real issues I had were the game lacking some settings options (though, I didn't particularly need them myself) as well as the 1000 Deaths achievement. It seems good for the people that might look into something like say Multiplayer or Arcade more, though falling to my death many many times to get it when even when I originally played it years ago as a kid I only died over 250 times or so, it definitely got a little tedious. Nevertheless I 100% it in the end and apart from that small brief hiccup I had much fun with the game.
Overall, it's a solid game! I'd recommend it to people who are into precise platformers or just platformers in general.

Als ich das Spiel vor einigen Jahren gespielt hatte, hatte ich es nach kurzer Zeit frustriert deinstalliert, weil es mir viel zu schwer war. Jetzt, einige Jahre später, kommt es mir fast zu leicht vor. ^^ Habe natürlich trotzdem oft geflucht, da einige fiese Fallenkombinationen existieren.
Für Spieler, die auf action-arena-platformer stehen, auf jeden Fall einen Blick wert. Allerdings ist die Kampagne nicht wirklich lang, wenn man Geschick besitzt.
Ich habe auf jeden Fall erst mal genug.
Wie immer gilt halt....Spiel kaufen und einfach testen.

I wanted to finish this game because it seemed fun. But then I came across two bugs, the first one was a random invisible wall in the middle of the course (but this only happened once). The second one kept recurring, which was that my character kept moving to the left, I tried it with both my controller and keyboard (controller disconnected as well), and it kept happening. Essentially it leaves me no choice but to die, so I don't know how to fix it and quite frankly I don't care either.

Um ótimo jogo, infelizmente muito curto, em pouco tempo você completa a campanha, sendo a dificuldade o fator que vai te atrasar. Em relação ao modo arcade talvez fique repetitivo e desinteressante com o tempo. É um jogo bom e divertido, mas recomendo pegar em uma promoção por ser muito curto.

El lore del juego es muy sencillo, sos un niño gordo que vive en el campo con su padre y quiere enorgullecer a su padre, de ahi que te unis a un circo ultraviolento en el cual debes pasar pruebas asesinas para poder entretener al publico y avanzar en las misiones.
Finalmente logras ganar todo y hay como un ritual en el circo que cuando alguien termina todas las pruebas que es algo casi imposible, esa persona esta destinada a obtener el mando del circo y la mascara del anterior, cosa que termina pasando y el viejo administrador se retira diciendo soy libre.
El juego se trata basicamente de hacer 5 tipos de desafios en diferentes contextos (y siempre saltando entre pedestales para ir haciendo cada nivel)
Luz - Estar determinado tiempo bajo un reflector que se va moviendo
globos explotadores - tocarlos antes de que exploten solos, van en secuencia uno detras de otro, dispersos generalmente por el mapa
Calderos - caen pociones del cielo que debes meter en los calderos de sus respectivos colores, evitaras a toda costa que se caigan muchas al piso porque perdes
Botones simon dice - debes apretarlos en orden, cada vez mas dificil
Barriles - Los tocas y explotan (no te hacen daño) y asi vas avanzando en el contador.
Tenes los bordes del mapa que tienen una cortina la cual te permite magicamente salir de un lado a otro del mapa, a veces hay un bloqueador con fuego de la cortina que impide que pases al otro lado.
Basicamente en todo mapa te estan atacando rayos laser, agua, rayos electricos, dragones, misiles, disparos de ametralladora, Sierras, pegamento, etc. y debes completar todo desafio en ese contexto
Graficos lindos, musica decente, sonidos decentes, jugabilidad no tan mala, tiene remote play together, duracion algo corta.
Es para pasar unas horas en un dia, pero esta bastante bien la propuesta

手残党赶紧左上角，别考虑，这是非常典型的精准平台跳跃游戏，小黑盒翻的中文名叫《马戏竞技场》，但明显手谈汉化组的《夺命马戏团》要更为准确，整个游戏基本就是主角一个可怜的小胖纸被马戏团的老板花式折磨，用短短的二段跳在各种致命机关中求生存，最恶心的是遭受到任何伤害都会立刻暴毙（请参考肉肉哥和蔚蓝）我甚至怀疑这主角是不是从斗罗大陆里跑出来的，和导弹距离太近虽然没正面命中但也被炸死还能理解，石头擦个边明明肯定算躲过了主角的身体还是被整个炸开我是真的无法理解，石头滚动的余波把主角这大活人给震碎了？真就质量堪比空气，在主线流程的关卡中你会遇到的机关包括但不限于上面掉下来的下面射上来的冰刺，快速滚动的锯齿，一次三排扫射的机枪，导弹，巡航导弹（后期会复数个的无限跟踪全地图跟着主角跑）跟舞狮一样在屏幕中穿行的龙，成群的马蜂，巨大的铁石，会蹦蹦跳的滚石，扫射全图的激光，摧毁平台的激光，任何一个都能在瞬间杀死主角，触之即死，后期还有各种复合的机关陷阱，就是上述的那些同时出现，最让人难以忍受的是这个游戏不存在记录点，一关有好几轮，而你在任何一轮死了的话都会从第一轮重新开始，极其的浪费时间，因为一般都是第三轮后面机关变得很难了以后才会死，而没有记录点就要一遍遍的打前面几轮到死了那个地方直到通关为止，也就是一定要一命通关，而前面那几轮是根本没有意义的，主角会被任何伤害一击必杀加上这个机制结果就是游戏几乎不存在容错率，挫败感极强，我这两天玩这个游戏骂的粗鄙之语比今年说的话都多，我推到后面几乎就是靠着我就不信我不能通关的执念坚持下去的，用了17个小时才白金，我不会推荐别人去玩这个游戏，除非就是喜欢茶杯头蔚蓝迈阿密这些同类型游戏的硬核玩家，不然正常人应该都不会没事喜欢自虐浪费时间玩这种根本收获不到快乐的游戏。
但平心而论（抛去游玩时的怨气不谈）游戏做的是真不错，完全能称得上是平台跳跃游戏里的小众精品了，画风和机关的设计都很好，所以还是给好评。

Un juego algo repetitivo, pero que para echarse partidas rápidas y picarte un poco está bien. Tiene un modo campaña y un modo arcade (tipo infinito) que hace que te lo tengas currar. La verdad es que una vez me pasé el modo campaña lo desinstale, el modo arcade y su sistema de cartas no me llamó demasiado la atención. La campaña te la pasas en 4 horas o algo menos. La dificultad está bien, ni demasiado loca ni demasiado sencilla. Lo recomiendo con un GRAN descuento.

It's good, the first 2 campaign areas aren't too difficult, but man. I had real trouble with the last level of the 3rd area. Still a fun game though.

Fun but tough arena platformer.
Basically, you are tasked to break barrels, collect items or press buttons while you try to avoid countless death traps that come at you in a single screen arena.
Took me a bit to figure out different tactics for different traps and obstacles, but managed to beat the campaign with less than 250 deaths.

This is the simplest platform you can get: moving left and right and jumping. That’s it. This doesn’t take away from the fact that this game is AMAZING. Both solo and multiplayer modes are amazing. The storyline is perfect and there gameplay is even better
I know the developers, so this is 100% a fully-biased opinion, but this game is great! A classic example of, "one more try," gaming. So quick to load, so smooth to play. I prefer a gamepad, though FYI.
Si mezclamos un sencillo plataformas de una sola pantalla con objetivos limitados por tiempo, obtenemos este juego, en principio asequible pero que se pone cuesta arriba a los pocos minutos, si te gusta el reto de repetir y repetir hasta lograrlo se vuelve satisfactorio y divertido, de lo contrario abandonarás pronto ya que el factor suerte (debido a lo aleatorio de algunos elementos) es muy decisivo y normalmente injusto. Por lo demás ambientación circense, música pegadiza y algún toque de humor con una historia ligera para dar contexto. Me gusta pero ya he perdido la cuenta de las veces que lo he desinstalado...

Grafika to pikselowe 2D przypominajace stare, dobre lata 80-te i godziny spędzone przy Atari. 😊 Grywalność niesamowita, wciąga na wiele godzin zabawy. Szkoda tylko, że dość krótka kampania, ale cyrk ma jeszcze inne sztuczki w zanadrzu... 😉 Polecam! 🤩

Juego divertido para jugar en clase
Brutal platformer that made me want to throw my controller at my screen. Especially at final stages. Some of the challenges in the levels were designed by devil and yet if you die it's mostly your fault for making the wrong move. If you need a game to be frustrated go ahead, it's perfect for you. Story isn't exactly anthing spectacular, but sound effects and soundtrack is nice and there's also more modes if you're hungry for more after completing the game.
Great little game. It can get frustrating sometimes, especially while grinding the last achievement (I once died at 149 out of 150).

Penarium is a retro-look platform game with three controls - left, right, jump. That's pretty much all you get. There are 30 levels of increasing difficulty to play through on a campaign 'story' mode, with some funny jokes along the way including the nostalgia reference that reminds me of BBC micro gaming... and then you can play 'arcade' mode on any of the three level designs you encountered previously. The idea of arcade is to survive as long as possible, or in my case to reach a score of 150 to tick off the last achievement.
This game is seriously hard. Really, proper, seriously hard.
This is Skyroads hard, but with more of a sense of humour.
The other reviews are a fair reflection of the game, it's repetitive, it's frustrating, there's not much to the game, but it is incredibly difficult. Some other reviews point to the game using artificial levels of difficult, bombarding our little jumpy man with more and more nonsense to have to survive. I don't think this is artificially difficult, I can feel my skills improving in order to survive. It's just not very complicated.
Anyway, I have finally finished all achievements and can now happily say I have finished the game. In my recent world of being bored with games for not offering enough challenge or enough to care about, suffering 20 hours of determined finger smashing I am pretty happy for the value I got on my $1 spend on this game during a discount day.
Penarium is a 2D retro pixel single screen arena platformer where you must accomplish various goals while avoiding obstacles being thrown at you. It has the "difficult" moniker attached to it.
They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. The overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Usually I would say this is typically caused by a lack of budget, or talent, or both, but this is published by Team 17, who are capable of far better. The only conclusion is that the game was made to look obsolete, with bad visuals, on purpose. That's very disrespectful to gamers and to the cutting edge PC gaming platform.
Likewise, a "high difficulty" approach was taken, this is done typically when developers aren't confident in their ability to do proper level design and storytelling, so they opt to try frustrate gamers and limit how much of the game they see, rather than engage the gamer in excellent storytelling. Imagine being so bad at game development, you try to prevent players from seeing your game!
Resolution and controls are locked, and can't be changed, not that much can be done to improve ugly, outdated pixel "art". The numerous flaws here push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. Also, $10 USD for a single screen retro pixel platformer? What are they smoking over at Team 17? You can get the full version remastered Skyrim for a fraction of that price.

난이도가 꽤 어려워서, 저같은 똥손은 3~4번째 레벨부터 5~10트 하기 시작했습니다. 뒤로 갈 수록 엄청나게 죽지만 재시작이 빠르고 조작이 시원시원해서 스트레스가 크지 않아요.
다만 하나의 레벨에서는 체크포인트가 없어서 좀 짜증날 때도 있습니다. 예를 들어 풍선을 순서대로 터뜨려야 하는 레벨이 있는데, 10개씩 3세트를 해야 합니다. 첫번째 두번째 세트에서 죽으면 세번째 세트는 구경도 못하는 셈이고, 겨우겨우 세번째 세트에 도달해도 죽으면 첫번째부터 다시 해야 하기 때문에 세번째 세트에 익숙해지기 쉽지가 않습니다. 다시 말해 패턴을 연습할 기회도 스스로 얻어내야 한다고 볼 수 있겠네요.
