Particula — это кооперативная игра в жанре tower defense, рассчитанная на трёх игроков. Игрокам нужно вместе защищать позиции от волн врагов. приятная и довольно необычная tower defense для кооператива. Играется втроём, и за счёт этого появляется больше тактики: нужно координироваться, распределять роли и вместе удерживать волны. При этом игра не напрягает — спокойный саундтрек, плавная графика и общий минималистичный стиль реально помогают расслабиться. Хорошо заходит, когда хочется спокойно поиграть с друзьями без лишнего стресса и суеты.

I play a lot of tower defense games. Honestly, I got bored. (Despite that the game is short without a lot of maps, I didn't really even play much of the content that was there.) I have not played this one much because it simply is not fun. The concept overall is new (protecting a mind from bad thoughts), and the graphics are well done (even if having a road system for thoughts is weird). That being said, the game just is not really that fun. It is one of the few games that I have said to myself, "Self, that was not worth the money."

This game is weird, but in a good way? You're basically fighting floating heads and 'negative thoughts' in space. It's surprisingly chill. I wouldn't play it for the deep strategy, but if you want something to click on while you listen to music or talk on Discord, it's perfect. Very zen.

Расслабляющий товер дефенс. Сложность появляется на высоких уровнях (5 и выше).
Сперва не понимаешь, причем здесь голова и всякие шарики с названиями негативных эмоций. Потом до тебя доходит, что шарики с негативными названиями - это мысли человека (злость, лень, агрессия и т.п.). А башни - защита человека, его крепость. И когда "негатив" доходит до "головы", то человек сдается. Что интересно, так присутствие лимита у головы. Примерно 8-10 "урона" она может принять.
И да, я так думаю по поводу увиденного в игру. Может моя интерпретация неверна....

It's a decent game, I don't know why anyone dislikes it. The gameplay is engaging, I spent two hours with it, the graphics are average, but that's okay. There aren't enough levels. Overall, the game is simple: you just pick it up and complete the levels. It's cool that there's multiplayer.

The idea is cool: a tower defense game inside the human mind. Towers against fear and anger — sounds almost like psychotherapy! But there are too few maps, only three types of towers, so it gets repetitive quickly. Fun to play with friends for an evening, but as a long-term project — not so much.
Score: 6.5/10 — just for the concept and the music.

Brak pauzy i kontroli prędkości oraz brak możliwości wcześniejszego wysłania kolejnej fali. Dlaczego muszę ręcznie zamykać menu, zamiast zamykać je po kliknięciu gdzie indziej? Gra wydaje się niepotrzebnie powolna. Nawet przejście zaledwie 5 z 25 fal wydawało się raczej uciążliwe niż przyjemne.

A low effort, barebones tower defense lacking the basic QOL features that every other TD game has. No pausing or speed control, and no ability to send the next wave early. Why do I have to manually close menus instead of it closing when I click elsewhere? The game feels unnecessarily [b]slow[/b]. Doing even just 5/25 waves of this felt like a chore rather than fun.

So there is absolutely no effort here. The enemies are just old JPGs where they did not even bother removing the background. You only realize they are supposed to be celestial objects when the galaxies show up, and even then it is hard to recognize them.
The sound effects are irritating to the ears, and the music loops endlessly with nothing but generic, cliché noises. This is not relaxing at all. It is mind-numbing and it just puts you to sleep.

Neither recommend nor don't, steam forces a choice though so I will put a thumbs up just due to how inexpensive the game was in comparison with what'd I'd expect. Game was fine, purchased for less than a dollar. Good for killing a little time, could use improvements like the volume not going outrageously high randomly when already set for low to no volume or music off, so there are technical aspects to be fixed. Game itself is basically a tower defense game, fairly clean game-play with minimal to no bugs so the company definitely did a decent job with game development, it was mainly user interface that was meh, like the volume issue and the exit game being in the escape menu but not also the main menu (would be nice to have an exit game button on main menu as well).
