Trying to figure it out feels like a cat on a keyboard - everything happens fast and unpredictably. Cartoon heroes are fun, and my puzzle attempts are more like a hilarious game of hide and seek!
Super solid little puzzle-platformer with a great main mechanic. Only caveat is that the full price is maybe a little steep considering how short it is. Especially if you're poor, and these days who isn't? But if you can catch it on sale, it's totally worth checking out.
É bem curto e bacaninha, joguei esse jogo bêbado com 3 amigos e nós quase nos cagamos de rir do tanto que nos divertimos, é um jogo perfeito pra tirar uma onda com gente em um rolê presencial.
Mas fora esse fator da diversão coletiva, eu joguei esse jogo quando era bem novo e ele é um excelente joguinho de plataforma puzzle com mecânicas bem distintas e interessantes. Se tiver com ele abandonado aí na sua biblioteca, ou ver ele na promoção por bem pouquinho, dê uma chance quando tiver naquele momento, sem jogo pra jogar e precisando de algo curtinho e sem descompromissado!
É curtinho, coisa de 1-3 horas de gameplay, e tem Portal Gun!!!

fun, short platformer
Short game with a lot of puzzle platforming with the warping Lazer mechanic and beams. I like how it progresses and builds up to the final boss. I also find the little worm colony to be cute. This game made my brain hurt, but then again I don't use my brain very much. I had a fun time and totally worth the $1 sale I got it for.
Good game to spend your 1 buck from sold steam trading cards from 10-80 dollar steam games on.

Mano, esse aqui é muito bom! Eu conheci Out There Somewhere como um easter egg escondido em Celeste (ksksksks). Como eu já tinha comprado Celeste e estava amando, pensei: “por que não?”.
Inicialmente, eu subestimei Out There somewhere. O jogo ficou parado por uns dois anos na biblioteca, até que ano passado eu descobri que ele era brasileiro (isso fez diferença) e recentemente resolvi finalmente experimentar.
Dá para ver que a dificuldade é bem similar à de Celeste, mas, diferente dele, eu vejo Out There Somewhere mais como um jogo de puzzle do que de plataforma. As fases são bem criativas e divertidas (tem umas de navinha :3), e os gráficos são carismáticos, só peca um pouco na história, que eu não achei tão envolvente.
Um joguinho curto, mas que vale muito a pena. Não subestimem Out There Somewhere!

This was a very fun puzzle/shooting platformer game, cute and nicely made with good challenge, a good main character with a fun teleportation mechanic and good tight controls.
In fairness however, 9.99 for the amount of time needed to play is a bit much, I started and finished this in less then a day, in less then 3 hours.
However, all in all a solid short game to enjoy, and one that makes me want to see more of this main character and his adventures!
The game is incredibly short. It's worth a few dollars, not $10

This is a short puzzle platformer (around 1 hr). The puzzles are reasonably interesting. However, not exciting enough for me to do a second playthrough for the achievements. Considering the really short length, I definitely wouldn't pay full price for this ($9.99). I'd recommend to buy it only if it's on sale (maybe for a dollar).

Сижу и думаю, какое впечатление оставила игра.... но точно зацепила. А это уже что-то значит. Эта игра оставляет послевкусие. Потраченного времени не жаль. Думающий платформер для начитанных людей. A gameplay é ótima, faz lembrar o Portal. Já a história é simples e curtinha, poderia ser maior já que o jogo é bem divertido.
this game is short but really fun. the teleport gun is super cool and makes you feel smart once you figure it out. looks oldschool and sounds nice too. kinda hard sometimes but not too bad. totally worth it esp if its on sale.

I think I bought this game years ago for like a dollar when I just created my steam and had a crappy laptop. Loved the game, still enjoyed it as I'm just now attempting to 100% the achievements. Also has a really great soundtrack that just hits hard with the best songs for me being the title and first outdoor song. The rest were very much enjoyable even if you can hear the cutoff loop sadly. The game can be completed in about an hour if you're like me and stumped at points but does have an achievement for completing in under 20 minutes. For being almost a 10 year old game that kinda feels like a small passion project, I think I can't recommend it enough.

Por si la intro chorra no lo deja claro (y no lo hace), 'Out There Somewhere' es un juego de puzles plataformeros en 2D. Hay enemigos, pero son más un tipo de obstáculo que se mueve que otra cosa, y pese a que obtenemos un arma más convencional durante la partida, nuestra principal herramienta será la Pistola de Teleportación. Con ella tendremos que superar obstáculos de complejidad progresiva, que nos exigirán explorar a fondo sus cualidades, en busca de las piezas con las que reparar nuestra nave y salir a zurrar al villano.
No es un juego largo, siempre y cuando te centres en lo que es avanzar hasta el final; si quieres romperte un poco la cabeza, hay unos cuantos objetos extra para los que tendrás que desviarte del camino principal y exprimir un poco más tu cerebro, pero te puedes pasar el juego con relativa facilidad sin ellos.
En fin, una cosa corta, con un aire retro muy agradecido para los ojos, y suficientes cosillas aparte del sendero principal como para plantearos rejugarlo. Dadle una oportunidad si os van los juegos de pixel gordo y los puzles con plataformas.

Fun puzzle platformer.
Out There Somewhere is a pretty good retro styled puzzle platformer, so what is the story. Far, Far away in outer space humans are under attack by the evil Grigori, only Yuri it's top space cop can stop the evil tyrant, but they soon crash on a mysterious planet. Now they must traverse this hostel world with their teleport gun to repair their ship and save the human race from conquest.
Aright then the likes, the gameplay is good it’s a simple side scrolling puzzle platformer go through the area using your teleporting gun, it's a little hard but fair for first time players. But after some practice you can get very good and unlock even the hardest achievements, the teleporting gun was also fun to use as you think of faster ways to get to the end.
The graphics were good has a nice old school styled feel to it with its colors, designs and world. The levels are good a little diverse with open spaces, caves and fortresses, nothing too complicated. The enemies and boss were good each one had their own simple, but unique look, the best being the final boss with his space ship with its skull look.
The story was okay, nice and simple with an anime style to it. The music was good with plenty of nice tracks to listen too. The characters were okay, nothing too complicated they were just there to move the plot .
Okay now the dislikes, the game can be a bit short as you can beat it in 2 hours if you’re not going after the achievements. Also the price for such a short game can be a bit too high like 10 bucks is a bit much for a game that you could beat in just 2 hours.
So now with that finished Out There Somewhere is a pretty good retro styled puzzle platformer, it has good gameplay, good graphics and an okay story. So I recommend this game if you're looking for a simple puzzle platformer this could be for you, but I do recommend getting it on sale to save a couple of bucks.

Recommended for beginners. The game mechanic is unique by using teleport gun to move between location or even evade enemies. It's very worth it for the price. I only buy this game for around 50¢ or 0.5$

É um indie 2d pixelado curto com uma ótima mecânica de teleporte, você tem uma arma que atira um projétil, quando o projétil acerta uma parede seu personagem é teleportado para o local da bala, todos os puzzles são focados nessa mecânica e é tudo muito bem feito. As músicas são de altíssima qualidade e a gameplay é ótima.

Довольно нудная игра, с раздражающими головоломками. Странно что кому-то это может нравится. Вроде и сохранения рядом, но стоит раз пять умереть, уже становится скучно.

Corto y directo al grano, divertido y ninguna idea se alarga, Portal en 2D con algunas ideas propias y puzzles muy chulos, no es muy complicado pero gracias a eso tiene pedazo de ritmo, y fácilmente rejugable porque aún sabiendo las respuestas a los puzzles es satisfactorio moverte por los niveles.

Основная фишка — пистолет, который позволяет перемещаться на расстояние при попадании в твёрдые поверхности. Эта механика превращает каждую локацию в интересную головоломку. Постепенно игра усложняется, и телепортация требует более точного планирования.
Визуально игра выполнена в пиксельном ретро-стиле, который создаёт уютную атмосферу. Саундтрек отлично дополняет геймплей, создавая атмосферу космического приключения. Единственный заметный минус — её короткая продолжительность. Примерно за два-три часа можно пройти игру полностью, а после остаётся ощущение недосказанности.

Another game I don't remember too well (I really should have reviewed these when I first played them) but I do remember it was pretty fun.
Out There Somewhere is one of those puzzle/platforming games but has a quirky teleportation function in it. The game is on the shorter side though, so don't expect too much. Having said that, it's a good effort overall, one of those games you can pick up and spend twenty minutes or so on.

Achei bem genérico esse jogo. Os personagens e a história desse jogo não me cativaram muito, os puzzle são legais... Até vc travar neles. Não sei se sou burro ou o que, mas teve um puzzle que me fez literalmente travar no jogo, e com isso eu não consegui progredir na história, depois de um bom tempo tentando sair desse puzzle eu simplesmente larguei o jogo e deixei ele de lado. Talvez eu volte algum dia para tentar zerá-lo novamente.

This was a superb platformer-puzzle game in the same genre as Portal. This too, does not overstay its welcome and invites additional completionist plays. Nice to come across these lesser known titles.

Had a lot of fun with this little teleporty sidescroller. It's short—about 90 mins—so you decide what sale price is worth it to you. But know that it's slick, cheeky, clever, challenging without being frustrating, and thoroughly enjoyable. A fun way to spend an hour or two, that's for sure.
