Nuclear nightmare teaches an important life lesson
Never trust anyone and pulling the trigger is always quicker than asking questions.
This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun. The idea is unique and is executed so well, the lore is interesting, and its dynamic open world makes it interesting every single round you play. I got this game the week it launched. This is easily one of the best coop objective based games that are out here on steam - but only when you aren't at 40-60 fps and I promise you its not my PC its the game, please optimize the game and this will literally be a 1000/10 game. (PC Specs attached if you were wondering)

Absolute bugfest, only fun part currently is the first few times playing with friends on the main map. They constantly add random things instead of actually improving it which sucks cause it has so much potential.

This game is a very fun survival simulator where you either fight monsters to survive the night, or play imposter mode. In which one player is the imposter and has to trick the players into believing that they are not the imposter.

Very fun if you play with friends. The atmosphere can be pretty scary, especially at night, and the goofy stuff you can do with your friends makes it well balanced between serious and silly, whatever fits you the most.
It's heavily inspired from The Thing (1982), and I definetly recommend it if you're in for a gaming night with the boys

buggy ahh game and they removed iron sights for whatever reason, but still fun with friends. I don't really recommend otherwise tho :/ (game better with iron sights)

While the game can be fun to play, it is under a big condition:
IF it works properly.
The game has countless bugs that I have encountered over plenty of games - Not being able to move the camera, perk rolling menu getting stuck on the screen, buggy vehicle turning .... the list goes on, but despite doing everything right, the game can still screw you over by sending run-ending bugs at you.
I really do want this game to be fun, but there are TOO many bugs. That's not counting poor optimization and janky systems either.... the game needs a lot of work to be worth the money right now.
Decent for $1.79, wouldn't have paid more. There isn't much of a consistent theme to the game outside of "scary game fun with friends". Not much explanation on how to play the game and lots of annoying bugs (or are they mechanics?). But hey, got a few good hours out of it I suppose.

Смысл заключается в выполнении "Секретных материалов", миссий их 10, но чтобы завершить игру, можно выполнить меньше, на каждой локации (это мини базы, на которых нужно выполнить задания), есть реактор, который нужно починить, чтобы двери нормально открывались, работала техника и горел свет.
всю информациях о миссиях, о времени и патронах будет появляться при нажатии "M"(Ь), войс на англ. "V"
СОВЕТУЮ, прежде чем начать игру, зайти в КОСТОМИЗАЦИЮ, нажать ПЁРКИ, и выбрать на все 5к очков бонусы. На локациях разбросаны автоматы, в которых можно выбивать пёрки (на один автомат, 3 варианта пёрок, пёрки не стакаются).

Ночью спавняться мобы и ломают реактор, так же убивают вас, у них есть зрение и слух, днём они не спавняться, но ночные монстры никуда не пропадают.
Имхо игра хорошая , атмосфера передается на 100% жуть и тяжесть ситуации тоже , постоянные снегопады с 0 видимостью особенно ночью быстрая смена погоды которая сопровождается спешкой в поисках файлов по всей карте с пониманием того что тебе надо еще успеть вызвать вертолет спасательный до уничтожения всего , и все это в сопровождении доп сложностей по типу обморожения у персонажа либо всяких живучих существ не дают вообще отдышатся ни на секунду , вообщем пускай каждый испытает себя , возможно именно тебе игра зайдет

"Nuclear Nightmare" – нормальная игра для любителей постапокалиптики.
Плюсы:
Атмосфера держать может, мрачно и напряжённо.
Стрелять интересно, мутанты разные, не скучно.
Крафт простой, но работает.
Минусы:
Короткая (часов 8-10).
Баги есть, иногда вылетает.
Мир не очень глубокий, сюжет стандартный.
Итог: Если любишь "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." или "Fallout", но хочешь что-то свежее – можно попробовать. Но не жди шедевра.
Оценка: 7/10 – "Не плохо, но могло быть лучше."
Nuclear Nightmare had me interested at first, especially as a co-op horror game, but the actual experience ended up being more frustrating than scary.
The biggest issue is how unclear everything feels. You get dropped in with very little explanation, and instead of building tension, it just creates confusion. Half the time you’re not even sure if you’re doing something wrong or if the game just isn’t working as intended.
Co-op should be the strong point here, but even that falls apart. Communication feels unreliable, and when you’re playing a horror game that depends on teamwork, that’s a massive problem.
Then there’s the technical side. The game feels unpolished, with bugs and general jank constantly pulling you out of the experience. It’s hard to stay immersed when things just don’t behave the way they should.
There’s definitely potential here, and the concept itself is solid, but right now it feels like it needed a lot more time in development.
As it stands, I can’t really recommend it.

This is a pretty nice game. The bugs are crazy sometimes, but it is really fun to play and its really atmospheric. Worth a try fot people who like and people who dont like horror that much. You can make the game less scary throg the settings, even though the horror is nicely done. Its creeping af if the sillouette of some buffed up jaw-man runs by the edge of your field of view

its way too laggy even in powerful PCs, its a nice concept but the gameplay, shooting, imposters, everything is too unplayable at the current build. It feels more like a demo more than anything, everything has that "jank" to it, but its not fully released so hey, can't blame em.

Think of it as a funny/hard multiplayer game it can be funny and really annoying at the same time doesnt mean you cant have fun get it on sale its cheap and fun!

I'm not saying this game has nothing going on for it - after all, it's a direct The Thing rip-off which gave it tremendous potential... But that potential was not tapped.
There's a ton of questionable choices, like the vehicle controls and fuel consumption while idle, water in general and well, even the huskies are more problems than an enjoyable feature - easiest to just avoid them altogether. But what got me the most (figuratively and literally) was some silent killer that avoids the beeper until you're right on top of it. Then it just chomps your head off and you never even get to see it. Died more to this than all other bugs combined and oh boy, are there bugs. Not one match can you play without encountering something that'll challenge your immersion.
Most common are graphical glitches, from partly disappearing snow, to meshes loading improper LODs even when right up to them, and to light/shadow bugs that hinder your vision drastically based on where you look and at what time of the day - and then there's the perk that "highlights generators" - not sure how it's supposed to look, but how it looks is like an unlit yellow box in the night. At least you won't miss it!
Many perks were either bugged or missing completely, like the fall-damage negating perk, that has no animation and instead you're stuck for a while and the perk for double XP seemed to do nothing ... to name a few.
Speaking of perks and XP, the idea that you buy and sell perks at a different price is not new, but here it just doesn't work. The perk tree in general could do with clarification - why do the perks unlock in the order they do? And considering I'll mostly not get more than 5 perks in a run, why aren't the perks rather pre-allocated and capped some other way than XP you grind and lose it all when trying to figure out how to unlock the S-tier perks.
I could go on for ages, but for a 2€ purchase, this game plays okay-ish. I'd not recommend this game to anyone, though I do admit it's a shame since there has still been some significant work put into this - unfortunately the result is hardly enjoyable.

This game reestablished my fear for the 1980's movie The Thing. I was quite scared, but enjoyed the game, the action, but the utter fear the game can give. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a horror game that is multi player. I was quite literally shaking last I played it. Twas indeed fun.

This game is like a 8/10! Surprisingly scary/thrilling for a co-op multiplayer game. Definitely worth the money, INSANE that the sale for this game is 2 dollars. Super duper worth it.
