This is a little bullet-hell incremental game that is DEFINITELY harder than it looks. The game is split into five parts, each with a new resource and a new mechanic and pattern, all of which appear in the final boss fight. This means that skill is NOT optional: you will complete all upgrades at some point and will have to rely on your skills to beat the boss.
The game is quite interesting with many bullet patterns, but also quite challenging. However, I believe it has one major flaw: bullets persist after the core is destroyed, and if you can still die during this period. Another issue is that the white resource is limited by bosses and unlocks powerful upgrades, so if you don't choose carefully, you may have trouble beating bosses as you cannot refund the upgrades.

It's short. Took me a little about 3 hours to beat, but someone good at bullet hell would probably beat it in an hour, but for only $3, who cares.

Still fun though and a great way to kill an afternoon. Love the chiptunes music and simple geometric art style.

Given I have not played many bullet hells, still if I had to guess this would be one of the harder ones. At some critical stages, there are no further upgrades, so either git gud or die. A bit of luck is also involved with the enemy movement and/or projectile patterns. But overcoming them is such a satisfying feeling, to me it was worth the frustration. Because the game never felt unfair, just my skill issue.

At the price, its definitely worth picking up. I enjoyed my few hours finishing the game. I can see myself coming back to it sometime again in the future as well, given its so short. But not masochistic enough to try permadeath.
