♥♥♥♥ Epic Games, you CANNOT play Co-Op which was the whole reason I bought the game. I do own an epic account, but because it's linked to my Xbox and their system only allows me to login through email (my xbox email doesn't work), it WILL NOT LET ME PLAY. I tried to make a new Epic Games account just to play this, and it tells me that I can't because I already have an account.

To roguelike, więc giniesz, tracisz zabawki, budujesz od nowa. W kółko to samo - schemat "pokój -> walka -> pokój" może zacząć nużyć po paru godzinach. Ale satysfakcja z testowania nowego, absurdalnego buildu na robotach jest spora. Trzeba się ruszać, taki bullet-hell, palce bolą od klikania.

[b]OPRAWA[/b]
Nie spodziewajcie się cudów, ale stylówa komiksowa robi robotę. Przynajmniej jest czytelnie (jak nie zasłonisz ekranu bronią). Muzyka - ciężkie rockowe riffy, pasuje idealnie do mielenia metalu.
Fabuła? Jakaś tam jest, statek matka i te sprawy. Ja to skipowałem, szkoda czasu, lepiej wracać do warsztatu dłubać w statystykach.

Nie jest to rewolucja, ale solidne rzemiosło. Warto zagrać, żeby zobaczyć jak bardzo można nagiąć definicję słowa "pistolet".

The game feels floaty, sometimes I can't tell if I'm getting hit or not, and having to constantly customize my guns every 5 minutes during runs gets really annoying. There doesn't feel like there is any weight to the enemies, yourself, the guns, everything. Every room is always similar. It's kinda hard to describe why I dislike this game. It's all about how it feels really.

MOTHERGUNSHIP brings a fresh and unique take on the boomer shooter FPS genre by introducing roguelike elements and full intuitive weapon customization. Fresh gameplay elements are backed by witty writing and great graphics, animation, voice acting. In other words, it should be a no-brainer.

Some lesser things:
- There's been no updates since 2022
- Some runs can take pretty long. Often I find myself having to scout an entire room just to find that last hidden enemy.
- Your weapons are pretty overkill and spamming jump will avoid most bullets, so often times you feel like you're literally power washing a room rather than killing enemies.

Concerning "Epic Games Login", tbh I barely even noticed, it's a one-click-thing if you already have an account.

【ストレス設計】
ド派手な銃をカスタムするゲームのコンセプト自体は良いが、調整が悪くて台無しになっていると感じた。全体的に理不尽でストレスが溜まった。死因はおおまかに視認性、操作性、部屋の構成で詰みあたりとなり納得感が薄い。
ノコギリの体当たりしてくる敵とかが死角や爆発の陰から飛んで来る、飛んでいる敵に上から撃たれるなど、特に後半の色違いのノコギリの体当たりは1発で9割、色違いのツェッペリンの射撃は被弾数にもよるが5割以上持っていかれる。回復アイテムの入手手段が乏しく不安定で2割ほど回復するアイテムしかない。大ダメージ取ってくる敵がいるのに回復大アイテムや回復部屋すらない。視認性が極めて悪いのはテストプレイでわかるのだから敵のいる方向がわかるレーダーくらいは実装してほしかった。
ステージのオブジェクトの引っ掛かりが強くちょっとした段差や柱に引っかかて足が止まる。細い柱くらい1方向押しっぱなしでスライドしてよけられるようにできないものか。ちょっとした段差でつまづいて被弾するのもひどい。
装備がそろっていない1～3フロアで鳥みたいな敵に当たって即逃げできない部屋だとほぼ詰み。ドアロックされるステージで強敵がいて通路一直線にステージギミック砲台の射線が通る部屋とかに当たるとどこにいようが被弾してゲームにすらならない。どれほど強い武器をカスタムしようがどうにもならないような部屋の構成に当たると非常にストレスが溜まる。

【爽快感皆無】
後半は敵が無駄に硬く攻撃力も高いため、逃げ回って相手の射程距離外や遮蔽物の陰から狙撃するしか安定行動がなく爽快感が何もない。そのせいで火力下げてでも反動を減らすほうが楽なのもより爽快感を損なう。1対1なら相手の周りを廻りながら攻撃すればよいと思うが死角に残っていた小型の敵に不意打ちされたり段差に引っかかるだけで終わるので、より確実にクリアしたいなら直接戦闘は避けることになる。後半になると敵の火力が上がり一番弱い砲台のダメージすら喰らえず、カスタムした武器の火力を頼りに正面突破できて爽快感があるのは序盤だけ。敵の耐久も上がって飛んでいる小型の敵を1発大ダメージ武器ですら1発で倒せない、強化された色違いならともかく大型になると通常色の敵すらアーマーのエナジーを最大強化した両手のエナジーを使い切っても倒しきれなくてゲームのテンポが悪い。ショップを利用するために取りこぼした小型の敵を探し回る羽目（結局見つからず入れないことも多数）になったり、回復してくる敵が硬すぎるなどゲームのテンポを悪くする要因が他にもいくつかあった。
武器をカスタムするにも頼みのショップが部屋内全ての敵を倒したのに戦闘が終了せずに入れないバグが頻発する。というか敵を殲滅する必要がある設計にもかかわらずなぜレーダーや残りの敵のカウントが実装されていないのだろうか。

游戏偏难，全作一共三个boss
序章一个，第四关一个，结尾一个二阶段
游戏内有局外升级，但是很鸡肋，我通关了也就才五级，经验不好搞，也没必要去刷，所有等级加血上限就行
配件没什么必要去刷，有啥用啥
除了第四关和结尾外，其他关卡建议直冲，在门外就看好门的位置，直接进去开门
关卡内怪超级多，这游戏狗日的受伤反馈还不明显，可能冲几下就要死，收益又小代价又大
游戏里面跳板超级多，玩的时候跳来跳去脑子疼
游戏内置无中文，3dm有汉化补丁，有部分文字未翻译但不影响，这剧情非常无聊
游戏通关我一贯好评，除了像我这样通游戏库的，正常不推荐玩

One of the most satisfying "unique" roguelikes I have played. It is easy to pinhold the genre into a certain genre/perspective, such as top down. I have over 900 hours in Isaac, for example, but, Mothergunship uses that same formula in so many new and unique ways. Pick this game up if you're looking for a unique FPS experience that doesn't fit the mold that the roguelike genre has desperately tried to FORCE itself into.

Но чесно я бы не посоветовал её друзьям.
Очень много багов, застревание в текстурах при полете или при приземлении, моментами перестает стрелять оружие что очень бесит.
А также противники.
Почему бы не сделать их появление сразу, а не постепенным по приближению.
Летаешь по карте от одних врагов как за спиной тебя уже пиздят другие.
Очень классно не рекомендую играть за фулл стоимость.
Обоссут с ног до головы и сделают куколдом.

打的舒服又不太舒服的一集。
是一款有roguelite元素的FPS游戏，特色是可以通过连接口、枪管和插件来DIY武器并且制作的时候没有数量限制，也就是只要放得下，你甚至可以搓出一把像蜈蚣一样长的多节的的枪再给它装上十几个不同的枪管。听上去看上去都很有趣，但是玩起来就没有这么有趣了。

首先，DIY武器的时候配件数量没有限制，但是进入关卡只能带几个配件，所以大多数的时候你只能带两三把枪管，其他配件就要靠商店里刷了。其次，游戏是无限子弹但并不能爽射，而是有能量槽，左手一个右手一个，你装的枪口子弹威力越高或者装的越多，消耗的能量也就越多，机甲强化前能量本来也就不是很多，一只手装几个枪管可能能量几秒钟就会打完。

DIY武器系统看上去是很有趣，但是也仅限前几个或者十几个小时了，玩的越久越觉得这个系统和游戏其他机制的冲突。
武器的配件分为经典的白蓝紫金四种品质，品质越高数值就越高，白蓝色的都挺好刷到，紫色的出率就不是很高商店里一轮可以见到一个两个的，而金色的基本没见过，我无尽模式打到几十轮都没见过，仓库里就任务给的几个。所以这也是一个刷刷刷。
问题就在如果在任务里死了、放弃任务了又或者是直接返回主菜单，你带进去的所有配件和在关卡获得的所有配件经验金币就都没了，甚至后期打mothership的进度也会清空，真正的全部木大，而玩到后期关卡的难度又很不好形容，可能上一关还是一些随便打的小狗配小飞机，下一关就是几个血牛怪配一堆陷阱怪直接被一脚踹暴毙。
所以我根本不舍得把高稀有度高强度的配件带进任务，那样任务失败的挫败感一定高到可怕，而且还要通过打简单的任务来刷配件。好在还可以通过机甲强化生命和近战攻击直接进任务，有点像emm...跑刀？

配件除了连接口之外，枪管和插件的伤害和实用度差距都很大，有些枪管特别强而有些甚至不知道有什么用，不稳定的配件装上去可能是起负作用，所以能感受到这套武器组装系统乐趣的时间，只有打简单的战役模式的时候，一旦打到了后期难度上来了，就不能把找到的所有配件一股脑装上去了，而商店里刷到的配件很多时候基本用不上，所以必须要精打细算，玩久了会很折磨。

最能体验游戏乐趣的地方反而变成了靶场，在靶场里可以组装仓库里所有的配件，可以把几十甚至上百个配件合在一起，最后导致掉帧甚至游戏崩溃，比什么任务战役无尽模式都好玩的多。

PS：不知道为什么游戏文件不是叫MOTHERGUNSHIP而是叫TowerOFGuns2，可能本来就是那个游戏的续作吧..

Level up certain character stats to help provide an edge and help shape your playstyle. Bring some saved equipment into missions to give yourself a starting edge, especially in those higher levels.

Hidden throughout the levels are temporary power-ups that can help, sometimes they make the difference between failing or winning the mission.
After unlocking the power-up to detect fake walls, your eyes start to pick up the shimmer as second nature.

There are times you have a choice of picking doors with certain effects, giving you some choice of what challenge you would like to face next or to avoid. Some offer a unique environment or challenge that curiosity sets in that you want to try it out.

[*] Feels like you are going to be able to build over-the-top weapons with many MANY parts, YET in a mission there are not too many parts to be found / bought.
Only Endless mode (and the shooting range room) is when you can build such ridiculous guns.

[*] It does get repetitive quickly. There are different mission types and different level layouts each time but it's still the same gameplay underneath.

[*] Experience points are dropped items by defeated enemies and require you to pick them up. Not that bad however they despawn quickly, which feels unfair as you are dodging and fighting in the meantime and get penalised for taking too long to pick them up.

[*] If you lose a mission, the parts you brought in with you at the start are lost.
Brought some rare Railgun part in with you? GONE!
There's a very small chance a part you want shows up in the hidden shop, but it's incredibly expensive and easier to grind for it instead. Seems like a very harsh penalty that has been implemented. [/list]

A frantic bullet hell shooter that is fun at the start but as time goes on, your game sessions get smaller and smaller. You do push on for the story, the great dialogue and to try new experiences so it's fun while it lasts, before the grind kicks in.

Scoperta molto interessante, ottima la possibilità di costruire le armi trovandole in giro o comprandole dallo shop.
Creare le diverse build e provarle sul campo è stato molto divertente.
La campagna non mi è piaciuta, ma non essendo il motivo dell'acquisto ho sorvolato su questo fatto.
Nota dolente per quanto riguarda la progressione, in quanto è molto difficile ottenere xp e monete per progredire.
Ho utilizzato delle mod in quanto ho provato moltissime build di alto livello senza dover farmare .

El juego es divertido, hasta que te chocas con una pared...de balas. Se podría decir que el juego es un shooter, que es un roguelite, que es de mechas, pero la verdad es que un bullet hell en 3D.
No lo puedo recomendar. Primero explico de que va el juego, y después porque no lo recomiendo.

Mecánicas y gameplay:
--------------------------
El juego trata sobre una invasión a la tierra por una fuerza alienígena, y tu personaje va asaltando naves, superando sus salas llenas de enemigos robóticos (lanza misiles, cañones, minas, drones, etc.) una vez que limpias la fase o encontrás la llave podes pasar a la siguiente. Pudiendo a veces tener la opcion de elegir una puerta para que la próxima fase tenga un desafío, o alguna dificultad ambiental, o algo random. Luego de pasar todas las fases se "destruye"esa nave y a la siguiente misión.
Los enemigos sueltan tokens de experiencia, en algunos casos orbes de vida, energía, o monedas. Al limpiar una fase, puede que haya en ella un sala de venta de items. Allí puedes comprar nuevas armas, complementos que dan diferentes atributos (+daño, -retroceso, efecto de rebote,etc.), y conectores.
El traje robótico tiene 2 brazo, por defecto dan puñetazos, pero también pueden ser equipados con armas. 1 brazo puede tener un arma, pero si le podes poner un conector con 3 entradas, ese brazo puede tener 3 armas, pero si a ese conector le pones otro conector de 3 entradas, ahora podes tener 5 armas, o 4 armas y 1 complemento...las combinaciones y cantidades pueden ser ilimitadas (ya que las armas tienen diferentes tamaños y formas). La munición de cada arma usa tu energia (que se recarga automáticamente al acabarse luego de unos segundos), por lo que saturar de armas un brazo es contraproducente. (Todos los items conseguidos, te los llevas y los podes acumular para luego elegir la mejor combinacion al empezasr la siguiente mision)
La experiencia acumulada por otro lado, al llegar a cierto punto desbloquean "nodos" que pueden ser usados para desbloquear mas vidas, mas saltos, una recarga mas rápida de energia, etc.

Lo que me gusto:

-Encontrar un arma, y subirle el daño tanto como se puede, para así matar a casi todo de 1 disparo se siente glorioso.
-El humor es genial. La historia tiene varios personajes (o mas bien sus voces), con comentarios hilarantes. También hacen un uso genial de los objetos y comportamientos de la base, o hasta del mismo HUD que vemos.

No lo recomiendo por:

-TODAS las misiones son iguales y repetitivas hasta el hartazgo. "Destruí todo y llega al final". Nada de encontrar un item, rescatar a alguien, activar switches...solo pasa a la siguiente fase, hasta que no haya mas.
-Las misiones secundarías, no son misiones, sino que son fases de farmeo. Hay de farmeo de armas, experiencia, o monedas. No aportan nada a la historia.
-Las naves a destruir tienen hasta 10 fases, podes tener una run perfecta, llegaste con muchas armas/conectores/modificadores poderosos y raras, pero en la fase 9 te cocieron a balas en un rincón y moriste. Acabas de perder todas esos items, mas los items con los que empezaste la misión. Por lo que ahora tenes que hacer una misión secundaría facil para farmear mas items.
-No hay escudo que se recarguen. Solo tienes una barra de vida, que a base de farmear experiencia puedes subirla hasta un 40% mas. Pero luego, todo depende del ratio de orbes de salud que van dejando caer los enemigos. Para colmo, a veces hay tantos proyectiles, que ir a buscar el orbe de salud, hasta es un suicidio. Es posible también que la tienda te venda un orbe. Pero es solo 1, y solo te carga 20% de vida. Por lo que si superaste una fase dificil quedando poca vida, es casí seguro que la siguiente fase no logres superarla.
-No hay donde cubrirse. El juego creo que tiene la idea de que debe ser dinámico y nunca parar de correr. Pero es que a veces hay tantos proyectiles, explosiones y enemigos, que no hay donde correr. Para colmo los enemigos siempre sabe donde estás.
-Muchas armas, daño, y no mucho mas. Hay metrallas, escopetas, lasers, lanzagranadas...etc. Pero no hay armas con debuf prácticamente. Nada que congele, que ponga un estado de confusión a los drones, no hay armas de corrosión,de reducción de velocidad de ataque, de reducción de visión...Tampoco hay sinergias, es decir, podrían poner que si paralizas el movimiento de un enemigo,X arma puede hacerle mas daño con el tiempo. Al final solo ves los numeros, cuanto mas alto mejor.
-Hay que correr, pero es que le falta algún freno a ese mecha. Mas de una vez termine pisando una mina, o pinchos o lava, porque el personaje tiene la inercia de un toro con sobrepeso. Para colmo se puede desbloquear mas velocidad.
-Nunca se sabe cuantas fases tiene un nivel. A veces pueden ser 6,8 o 10. No podes elegir hacer una secundaria o no. Por lo que tampoco podes hacer un "hago 15 minutos una fase de farmeo y a dormir", porque puede durar mas de 20 minutos, y como guinda del pastel al final perderlo todo por morir en una fase!.
-Cada fase es aleatoria. Al abrirse la puerta de una fase no sabes que escenario se va a cargar. Cuando se carga, no cargan los enemigos hasta que pasas del todo. Pero, suponiendo que terminaste de limpiar la fase y ahora te pones a revisar si hay algún secreto (items de mas vida máxima, mas saltos, mas energia máxima), es posible que en un puente por el que no habias pasado spawneen mas enemigos. Por lo que ahora tendrás que acabar/escapar de ellos.
-Las fases son aleatorios, pero de un grupo de escenarios limitados. En mas de una ocasión te enfrentarás a un deja vú y te preguntarás "¿ya no he estado aquí pero en otra nave?"

La verdad me quede con las ganas de ver cual es el desenlace del juego, porque la historia es muy curiosa. Hay ciertos detalles que salen de la conversaciones que te dejan pensando. Es por eso que le di tantas oportunidades. Pero es que pierdo demasiado tiempo intentando. Y no siento que valga la pena.

Really great dopamine loop:
1) Shoot baddies.
2) Buy gun parts.
3) Gun get bigger.
4) Repeat.

Eventually you can just build up to a god weapon that will empty the entire room as long as your facing the right direction. Would have put more hours into it, but one of the randomized rooms bugged out and generated with no exit and so I had to end my run, losing meta-progression in the process.

FORCES EPIC GAMES ACCOUNT FOR SINGLE PLAYER??

I played Tower of Guns like crazy and had a blast with this game on release. Came back a couple years later and now they require an Epic account to be linked with your game, to get past the title screen. Yes you read that right; the game refuses to load past the title screen if you do not link an Epic account.
I can't believe this is the reality of the game and for that single reason, I do not recommend anyone buying the game on Steam. If you have an Epic account, go buy it there. Otherwise, just don't bother

An absolute gem find. This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome I absolutely love the crafting system, you can craft an absolute devilish abomination of a gun that uses half of your energy and perishes nearly anything in your path. This is hilarious as ♥♥♥♥. And the soundtracks... oooh, they are fire! The only complain I have is optimisation, 200 projectiles heading in your direction while your pc dies at 10 fps? Bet your pc will grow legs, overtrow the goverment and publicly crucify you. But that may just be my problem because im playing on a litteral potato with build in graphics card and 8 gigs of RAM. Besides that this game is hell of a ride and I recommend it to anyone with decent and better pc. Meanwhile my dear potato enjoyers, good luck.

If you're alright with a notable lack of variety in environmental design, there is a lot of replayable fun to have here, especially in co-op. Gun crafting is fun, and having to adapt to whatever parts you come across presents an (often highly amusing) challenge.

Not sure how long the campaign is, but the dialogue was surprisingly funny too.

I'm gamedev myself and that's what I think

* Modular guns. That are made out of components: from connectors (help fit everything you want), guns and modules (change values, for example, boost damage, etc.). Also, it's up to you if you want to make 1 big gun or 2 smaller ones (1 in each hand). Each hand has its own energy bar, so making 2 guns are more beneficial overall. This system is quite unique
* Bonuses during the run. You can increase your health, energy, jumps till the end of the run
* Items system. After finishing a mission, everything acquired goes to your stash, from which you can then take items on another mission. If you lose, however, you lose everything, even items you grabbed from the stash

[h1]Gameplay 2/10[/h1] [hr][/hr]
Gameplay is pretty common to roguelikes. You start the mission, go from room to room, get some coins which you can spend on gun parts and modify it and so on. From the weaponry part, all weapons are very similar to each other, for example you have big rocket, medium rocket, small rocket. Minigun that shoots fast, assault rifle that has same logic but other damage/fire rate values, so there are around 6 weapons overall. Different rarities have not much difference as well, just other values. Some modules have cool interactions such as negative gravity (making your projectiles fly upwards) but there are not many of them, most modules are flat increase to stats, thus not much difference between guns
There are a lot of other smaller problems as well:
* Balance is off, some guns are way weaker than others
* It's very hard to dodge sometimes, enemies bullets are very chaotic
* Drops from enemies are too random, so you can get a lot of healing or none in the entire run
* No indication where are enemies (sometimes a single small opponent can stack in the wall, and you would have to play hide & seek)
* No dash
* Epic games for coop, despite being a steam version
* Usually you wouldn't get many modules in runs, so despite having weapon crafting system, your options are very limited, usually to something like 3 guns, 3 modules. And even if you had more, there are not many ways to increase your energy (you need it to shoot)
And many more problems

[h1]Progression 2/10[/h1] [hr][/hr]
The game doesn't change at all. There is a level system with upgrades, but it's just minor buffs, nothing major. Guns you can earn or loose at any moment in the game, on top your stash is limited, you cannot even stockpile, so if you played the game for a long time it doesn't mean you have a lot. Campaign brings nothing new to the game, it can't be called campaign even, it's just runs with some dialogs in between. No unlockables, literally nothing

[h1]Replayability 1/10[/h1] [hr][/hr]
There are not many guns and things to experiment with, yet it isn't the major problem
The system where you can pick items from stash and lose them isn't great at all. If you get good at the game, you can pick the best preset with legendaries and so on, which would kill all replayability, because you can pick it each run. Loosing guns, on the other side, not great either, because you don't want to lose your good guns. So it whether you pick bad items and it wouldn't matter if you win or lose, or you pick good ones and you should win. This system kills replayability completely, because in rogue likes you don't supposed to win each run, you're supposed to try new things, some would end up great, some doesn't. And choosing only bad items, makes rare ones pointless

[h1]Controls/UI/bugs 0/10[/h1] [hr][/hr]
There are tons of bugs, I'll give some examples:
* If you lose mission in coop, half of the time you would stuck in infinite loading loop
* Networking code is terrible, when using something that shoots more than 20 bullets per minute, you get teleported back and forth all the time, despite having 40 ping. Which completely denies coop or the least, makes most of the guns unplayable
* Random deaths (you can die while standing still, when all enemies are dead)
UI also is very outdated, looking bad. I would say it's inconvenient, it's fine, but could be better as well

This game is so silly I love it, from the ability to make a massive tower of gun to the constant banter between characters I enjoy it a lot, the gameplay loop is quite simple and it can get boring after awhile, it's really one of those games you play for a bit then go back to play a little more at a later date, I recommend this game to anyone who wants a shooter with rogue-like elements that's easy to pick up and put down for 15 minutes or more.

i always enjoyed a goodegons pride with a caffinated trigger finger with a fire miney mod for crazy dmg at stages 30+ in mothergunship you can make sometimes similar on a more frequent basis which is something that i really liked you can get a good/strong build what i would consider on a more frequent/sooner basis and for the tinkerers some honestly really ridiculous builds

this game is like if you take borderlands and put it into a doom game, and its quite awesome.

construct a ridiculous gun that shoots however many of whatever wacky projectiles or bullets you like, then sprint and tessaracontouple-jump around bullet-hell rooms chock-full of enemies. this game is fast paced, funny, and even has co-op, though i did not have the opportunity to try co-op.

unfortunately some of the boss fights kinda suck, and some weapons are kinda bad (mostly the obscure ones). the inventory system is confusing at first and could do with a little explaining. plus while not required, if you want achievement tracking and online functions you will need to link to an epic games account.

커스터마이징에서 만큼은 거희 최상위 등급입니다.
그치만.... 게임 후반에 다다를 수록 게임 자체에 대한 재미가 급격하게 사라집니다.

솔직히 맵도 이전 런에서 봤던 거고, 적들 배치 위치도 똑같으니 전에 구성해서 잘 써먹었던 셋업과 비슷하게 구성하면 똑같이 무난하게 깰 수 있습니다.
상대할 새로운 존재가 없으니 내 총이 새로워져도 별로 의미가 없어져 그냥 순전히 컨트롤로만 적을 상대하는 자신을 보게 될겁니다. (아님 스텟 보면서 높은 등급만 따라가거나요.)

스토리는 그리 중요하지 않고 그냥 있는 정도로만 받아들이면 되는 깊이입니다.
반전도 컨셉 자체가 무겁지 않다보니 그리 임펙트 있게 와닿지도 않고요.

그라인딩을 선호하는 분이라면 말리진 않겠습니다만 그 외의 것도 같이 생각하신 다면 그냥 계정 빌려서 한두번 할 정도의 가치를 하는 게임입니다.
네... 그라인딩 요소가 상당히 높습니다...

I got mixed feelings about this game.
On one hand it's fun and looks and sounds great and it has good/funny writing,
On the other, it's repetitive, cursed with procedural generation, and if RNGeezus hates you you will not have the gun you want.
Sometimes I felt overpowered, sometimes too weak to complete a map, and I felt it wasn't because of a skill issue, but rather I just got dealt an impossible hand. Some(way-too-many) guns are practically useless.
Because of that I did not stay for the post-endgame content.

Guns are punchy and feel good to fire, music is exciting and enhances the point to point experience. The comedy in the parts I have played so far is funny and got a few smiles out of me. What I love especially is the traits of the guns that you craft. For example, you can create an abomination of a gun with push back so disgusting that it propels you across of the room, that's now how I like to move and reposition. All this is on top of the very intricate gun crafting system that makes me wonder how many chainguns I can stack on each other.

If anything, the one critique that I have is that, I would like some option to continue the run instead of finishing the missions, not only increases the risk, but if I just got a cool gun part, I wanna shred enemies with it at my earliest convenience. Also, perhaps we should be able to create our own blueprints for guns so we don't have to reassemble them each time. (At this point, I am 2 hours into the game, I'm not sure if this is a feature later on in the game!)

I'd recommend this game for anyone who's feels like playing a fast paced shooter experience. Additionally, anyone who is looking to enhance the fast-paced feeling of the game to up their FOV to around 120, it feels extremely good.

A great fix of adrenaline, super flashy and fast. Build your guns out of parts and run through a set of randomly-picked rooms. The campaign is a little short at only 10 missions, but there's an endless mode and side missions (also endless, a randomly selected set at a time) to keep it fresh, and the post-game has extra endless missions.

Сразу минусы:
1. Ужасно унылые бои 75% мобов какие-то турели-пушки. Остальные 25% - летающие эллипсы... с турелями и пушками. Ну еще на стенах статичные лазеры. И вся игра с этого состоит. каждый раунд нечем не отличается от другого. Все карты это процедурная генерация.

2. Ожидалось, что будет типичный бесконечный или условно-бесконечный рогалик, в котором с каждым уровнем ты будешь совершенствовать и переконструировать пушки, а при смерти будешь начинать сначала с нуля. Нет, ты просто бегаешь из коридора в коридор и воюешь с одинаковыми ботами.

Mothergunship é um rogue shooter / bullet hell frenético onde constróis e customizas as tuas armas para inflingir o máximo de destruição enquanto corres por dentro de naves inimigas a eliminar hordas de robots inimigos. Vale tudo desde gatling guns com 3 barrels ou até misturar lança-rockets com shotguns e lança-chamas. Máximo de destruição possível sem preocupação com munições ou outros pormenores técnicos.
A história é o mais simples possível, o que encaixa perfeitamente neste estilo. Também ninguém está aqui pelos poderes narrativos do jogo, certo?

It's only an opinion, but I feel like the design approach was to give all of the control over weapon design to the player, and in doing so, put the onus on them to design an enjoyable weapon to use. A lot of weapons feel like trash to use, and just provide an eye searing light show that prevents me from seeing what I'm dealing with in the environment. I don't like making comparisons in critiques, but consider a game like Roboquest. There's 100's of weapons, all with at least some identity and coherence. I feel like the modular gun concept could honestly deliver an improvement on what they did in their game. But at close to two hours I'd found one viable weapon (energy stream). Everything else felt inaccurate, under powered, or like it was a gag weapon not meant to be used.

Combat is confusing to me too. I've played Meet Your Maker, and some of the gag community dungeons that are just about overwhelming you are *easier* to understand and manage than the rooms the game generates. I've gone into challenge rooms with "don't destroy enemies for 30 seconds" and the turrets shoot each other because they're stacked too densely. I've got into rooms where I've been unable to avoid taking environmental damage because the room is full of lava, lasers and wall cannons, that are not immediately distinguishable from actual turrets that I *can* shoot. I've cleared out a room, looked around for more enemies in vain, gone up a floor to check for exits and had 6 turrets spawn on me at close range.

Even enemies are kind of weird. I'll have built a viable weapon, and be sawing through trash enemies, then encounter a single turret that requires me to empty a full energy clip twice to destroy (this represent approx 40-50 seconds of holding left click while dodging). The little running dog things all just make a direct line for you, there's no attempt to duke and weave. The boss in the first mission barely shot at me? I took more damage from the environment than the frigging boss. It was like it was just there doing a completely separate thing, and I needed to destroy it because I'd fallen in front of it.

I'm sad to be writing this. I think there's glimmers of fun in this game, but not enough to get past the challenges.

The game overall seems fun at first, but it's not multiplayer friendly and the overly restrictive weapon parameters for stages doesn't allow you to have as much fun building weaponry. The net code isn't that great and sometimes freezes at loading doors when playing with others which results in you losing your weapon forever that you entered in with since you have to back out or leave the game. The game hub world needs to allow for all players to benefit all menus. The controls feel greasy and laggy.

This game promises things it really doesn't deliver on. The central theme of the game "Gun Crafting" is gimped by the fact that you will never create "gun monstrosities that no reasonable person could ever lift" because each instance severely limits the number of parts you can bring into a level; so there is no monstrosities unless the RNG allows it and there is no point to the hoard of items you will collect; unless you end up dying and losing all of them in the "permadeath" system for items.

As for the randomized mayhem, the room sizes, enemies types and movements, and player mobility; they all feel horribly off. Sometimes it is infuriatingly difficult to determine which turret enemies even take damage as the design really doesn't meaningfully differentiate in a "think on your feet" with only a second to make a decision or suffer. Room sizes feel horribly off when considering the size and abilities of enemies or projectiles. Some enemies don't even feel particularly balanced with hit-scan lasers or extreme mobility. The UI has poor damage feedback with the entire screen going red and broken. The rewards don't feel worth it.

So don't become attached, don't get excited that you will have a sandbox experience to create ridiculous guns. You are here to suffer in a "rougelite" experience with whatever algorithm the developer decided to shove in to scale the enemies and pray to the RNG so you can add to your useless pile of collectibles.

RNG elements make the game much less fun. You can't build cool guns and then take them with you on missions, its more of a challenge mode to see what you can build of random stuff you find in the mission. Nothing wrong with that, but it seems more like it should have been a special game mode than the main one.
