If you enjoy an original, moving story delivered expertly alongside a charming soundtrack and interesting gameplay. This is for you.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of both Moss Book I & II.

It's a more relaxing experience than the FPS games I usually play. The diorama platformer is a style that works well in VR. The backdrops are jaw dropping and the whole package is curated perfectly to make you feel connected to the story and the characters. I was wiping tears from my lenses!

Other developers should take note. The story is much more important to the experience than the number of strands of hair or realism of a shadow's projection!!

Давно слышал о ней, но, прошел только сейчас - друг подарил на НГ. Всегда казалось детским и унылым по картинкам, по факту - оказалось весьма неплохо. Платформинг, бои, головоломки, норм сюжет и персонажи, что редкость для VR в принципе. Плюс вмешательство со своей стороны экрана в роли Читателя, что так же весьма необычно.

Купил первую часть, начал с неё. Т.к. вторая часть - прямое продолжение первой. Лучше сделать так же, чтоб понять, в чём там вообще аамес и что мы делаем в этом за́мке.

Первая часть неплоха, вторая часть - еще лучше. Больше оружия, больше механик, способности появились. Головоломки стали сложнее. Уровень в конце - вообще классная тема, взрыв мозга, шутки с гравитацией. Можно было бы сделать отдельно игру с подобным геймплеем. Добавили элементы метроидвании, когда надо побывать в одних и тех же локациях несколько раз.

При этом загадки в целом логичные. В гайд смотрел два раза. В первый - в морозном мире, когда не понял, как сбить эту фиолетовую штуку с пушки [spoiler] а ее не надо сбивать с пушки, c земли можно в прыжке это сделать сюрикеном [/spoiler] , но, в игре до того не было показано, что так можно. И второй раз - когда не заметил, что кнопка кроме ворот, открывает еще и хрень, куда надо стрелять, просто моя невнимательность)

Ах, да, свиток [spoiler]по пути в оранжерею[/spoiler] тоже подсмотрел. Он там вообще нелогично лежит, и, если играть сидя - его невозможно увидеть, только случайно наткнуться. По-моему, не надо так было разрабам делать. Остальные нашел и собрал сам. А нет, был момент, когда смотрел ютюб про последний мир, не пропустил ли я чего, и там внизу заметил один свиток, который проустил, вернулся, забрал.

И да, хотя разрабы пишут, что мол играйте сидя - по мне неудобно, плюс можно что-то не заметить, в итоге играл стоя, ходил за мышью по всей комнате, это прикольный опыт.

Из минусов - некоторые механики не слишком удобные. Например, этот быстрый прыжок на меч, она часто прыгает куда вздумается, т.к. постоянно сама вертится, из-за этого много раз переигрывал некоторые моменты. Хотя, вроде она прыгает по направлению движения, но, не факт) Вся эта долгая смена оружия в бою через это меню - тоже блин такое себе. Ну, имеем что имеем.

В целом - рекомендую, актуально даже в 2026-м) Сильно лучше, чем большинство выходящих сейчас игр. Как говорится, у игры есть душа. Обязательно ознакомитесь, если пропустили.

Как-то так) И да, отлично зайдёт новичкам, и красиво и не тошнит, и VR механики неплохо работают.

П.С. Да, забыл неочевидное. В игре есть русские сабы, но, по дефолту сабы вырублены. Игра запускается через SteamVR - у меня по крайней мере на Pico 4 + Virtual Desktop - и игровое меню вызывается на кнопку меню на контроллере - ну вы поняли, так только мудаки делают - т.к. оно вызывает меню SteamVR и меню игры вы открыть не можете. Решение удивительное. Я стал искать темы в стиме, там пишут, что "какая-то кнопка на клавиатуре открывает меню и можно врубить сабы"... Я сделал проще - подрубил геймпад, нажал там старт, открылось меню игры, включил сабы, закрыл. Может, кому пригодится) Как они так тестируют свои игры - хз...

I can't give a positive review to a game that costs half the price of a AAA game and only lasts 4 hours... And that's for a modern AAA game, not the day Moss was released. That's a joke, not funny.

The game itself is... enjoyable. That's probably the best way to describe it. Safe, enjoyable, but practically without any challenge. Just mouse-running in a fun way.
The fact that this game is released for VR, frankly, doesn't add much to the game itself. You can move your head, but it doesn't change anything.

The price and length of a typical VR game, and the fact that it was released for VR, doesn't add much.

Combined 1 and 2 Moss maybe would be worth to buy for full price of one. Maybe.

On the shorter side but this is a good deal in a bundle with the first game. Do play that one first btw.

Moss is a charming mice sized universe in which you help a cute little mouse around trying to save the world. The art direction, world building, scene making and so on are really on point and complement the story well. They took the first game and improved on it well.
While the first pretty much only had that going: pretty, cute and not another vr shooter; Moss II is a proper game, the puzzles are interesting and satisfying, it ramps up new enemies and mechanics over the course of the game, as well as new environments keeping everything pretty interesting. It feels much more like a game but without distracting you from the story, as a result this is probably something I could see myself replaying in a few years.

Its a hearthy recommend from me, its cheap, gets well within the 1$/h price mark when on sale, you've got a VR set and want to see what it can do other than asset flipped zombie shooter the 47th, this is it.

Un evoluzione netta del primo libro che offre più puzzle, più scontri, più armi e più bossfight, concludendo l'epica avventura di Quill. Personalmente reputo questi due Moss capolavori imprescindibili per gli amanti della VR, e un ottimo punto d'ingresso per chi sta scoprendo la realtà virtuale per la prima volta. L'unico difetto di questo titolo è che le probabilità di vedere un terzo capitolo sono quante quelle di Half Life 3.

The best part of Moss is looking down into the detailed and crafted diorama and in VR being able to peek your head around or stand up and see from a different perspective, but then as Quill is walking for a second or your eyes wander to a different part of the stage and you see the larger environment and backgrounds and feel just as small as the cute little mouse. Every part of this game is just as solid as the first and a standout title for VR.

相比一代，游戏在内容玩法美术场景关卡设计上面全面进化，奎尔可以换衣服，三把不同的武器，更多怪物种类，更多解密机制，更多boss战，更多演出，还有一整章操作别的角色游玩的关卡，游戏不算难，遗憾的是流程也不长，但是仍然非常推荐，9/10，希望能有第三部。

Bello anche più del primo, ovviamente vi consiglio di giocarli in ordine cronologico, perchè sono collegati. La nostra topa ha molte più armi da usare e molti più poteri per il lettore. Ahimè una pecca questo seguito a mio avviso c'e l'ha. Il finale è troppo frettoloso, peccato. Se il primo era un 5su5, a questo mi sento di dargli 4,5su5. Ma rimane pur sempre un ottimo titolo e molto più vario rispetto al suo precedessore. Recuperateli tutti e due :)

Вторая часть продолжает сюжет первой части, игроку также нужно будет вместе с мышонком противостоять новому злодею. По мере прохождения сюжета ненадолго можно будет поиграть за другого персонажа, у которого будет особое оружие.

Кстати, в игре будет не только меч, но и другое оружие, которое можно менять в режиме реального времени, разное оружие помогает решать задачи в областях по мере прохождения, также некоторые враги требуют определенного оружия для взаимодействия.

Любителям первой части играть обязательно, стало лучше, разнообразнее загадок и врагов. Хорошая игра на 6-7 часов.

Как и первая часть, это точно что надо проходить в первой 10ке игр после покупки ВР.

Немного добавились нотки метроидвании, что только в плюс этой игре. А так всё что было в первой всё только преумножилось во второй лично для меня. Последняя глава просто абалденная, не представляю подобный опыт в плоской игре, нет нет такое было в плоских, но ощущения совсем другие.

Like the first Moss, this is a puzzle-platformery VR game with a little bit of action/combat thrown in. Like the first game, it has some fairly standard ideas with pushing blocks around, manipulating enemies to push buttons, etc. There are a few more interesting mechanics thrown in but nothing groundbreaking in the puzzling or combat.

That said, this game is carried by vibes. It feels like your grandma baked you cookies and is reading you a story (complete with character voices) about a mouse trying to score some crack (because everyone is always talking about where to find glass). It's cozy like a warm hug and Quill has to be one of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cutest protagonists ever (unless you don't like mice, you monster.) She's so expressive and adorable and every animation has so much life put into it that I can forgive the few rough edges the game has.

Fun VR adventure. Makes a strong case for VR even for a third-person action game: having each level be a little diorama you can look around and reach into is extremely immersive. Controls are a little awkward due to a lack of buttons, but it's still a fun time. The absolute standout is the animation of the main mouse character, who feels tactile and adorable. Worth the time for sure.

Moss 2 illustrates how VR can do adventure role playing games at a very high level -- providing a unique experience that you cannot get in non-VR RPG titles.

Nintendo will likely create a Zelda VR title at some point in the future. In that regard, the Moss series represents games ahead of its time. VR still in the early stages of popularity, representing only a small percentage of the total population of gamers on Steam. Moss 2 is an example of how an RPG in VR can enhance the experience. The Moss series is not better than Zelda, it's not nearly as big of a game in scope, however the VR interaction enhances the experience. The Moss series is a "Zelda like" experience in VR and the Zelda like experience feels very natural (an evolution of the formula) in VR.

It's easy to feel comfortable in a 3D space, top-down, where you can see everything around you. Interacting with puzzles in Moss is very fun. The combat in Moss is simple, yet still very fun as well. The Moss series is not a complicated VR title, it's not a super lengthy or in-depth ARPG. What Moss does, it does it very well. The Moss series is an interactive VR game, with puzzle engagement, and light combat mechanics. In the future, it's easy to imagine a more in-depth RPG like Zelda, or even Dark Souls. Although, for now, and forever, the Moss series represents something special in VR gaming.

I did encounter one major glitch during one boss fight, when I had to interact with an object, that wasn't behaving correctly. Other than that, the game was nearly perfect in it's execution and what it was trying to accomplish. Some gaming experiences are difficult to explain with words. Because the Moss series is in VR, unless you play the game and experience the immersive environments, music, story, combat, and the interactive VR puzzles -- it's difficult to explain how special Moss is compared to a normal non-VR RPG. With that said, the Moss series will be remembered as very special.

Someday games in the future will attempt to mimic/copy Moss -- and that's one of the best compliments I can give Moss. Moss is an innovative game, one of a kind, someday other VR titles will emerge with similar qualities. The Moss series will be remembered as legendary and a pioneer in VR gaming. Moss is one of the best experiences I've had in gaming. It wasn't perfect, it was a shorter game, and featured less depth than most games. Although, Moss was extremely entertaining. immersive, and above all ... memorable. 10/10

Vermintide: the beginning

Jokes aside though, it's not only a great addition to the first part, but also a huge improvement overall. From the combat mechanics (that are now more diverse and somehow easier/less annoying than some in the first part) to puzzles (especially liked the last level) and the world decorations. It's hard to believe that this masterpiece is done by such a small studio. We really need more games like this one: a relaxing sitting experience, yet very engaging. And I can hardly name a game that looked as cute.

An advise to players: don't rush it too much, whenever the location is changed, take a moment to look around, there are some really cool details that are easy to miss otherwise in some places.

Definitely would recommend, even on a full price it's actually worth it, because the experience is just so unique. One of the best VR titles.

Manchmal braucht es keine großen Worte, keine lauten Explosionen oder gigantischen Welten... manchmal reicht eine kleine Maus mit einem Schwert, um dein Herz im Sturm zu erobern.

Moss und Moss: Book II sind wahre Perlen des VR-Gamings. Vom ersten Moment an fühlt man sich, als wäre man Teil eines Märchens, das direkt vor den eigenen Augen lebendig wird. Die Grafik ist atemberaubend ♡♡♡ liebevoll detaillierte Umgebungen, warmes Licht und eine fast greifbare Magie in jeder Ecke. Jeder Grashalm, jeder Stein und jedes Staubkorn in der Luft trägt dazu bei, dass man völlig in Quills Welt eintaucht.

Und dann ist da ☘︎ Quill ☘︎ selbst mutig, charmant und so ausdrucksstark, dass man sie einfach lieben muss. Ihre kleinen Gesten, das Wedeln mit den Ohren oder der stolze Blick nach einem Sieg, oder die High Five Momente ....das alles lässt sie lebendig wirken, und selbst Emotional werden. Man vergisst fast, dass sie nur eine Spielfigur ist.

Die Steuerung ist intuitiv, das Leveldesign clever, und die Rätsel sind genau richtig ausbalanciert: fordernd, aber nie frustrierend. Vor allem im zweiten Teil wird spürbar, wie Polyarc das Gameplay verfeinert und die Emotionen noch stärker in den Mittelpunkt gerückt hat. Die Musik rundet das Ganze perfekt ab ₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎ ruhig, märchenhaft und immer passend zur Stimmung.₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎

Moss ist nicht einfach ein Spiel ....es ist ein Erlebnis, eine Verbindung. Man fühlt sich wirklich, als würde man Quill begleiten, ihr helfen, ihr Freund sein. Es ist selten, dass ein VR-Titel so tief berührt und gleichzeitig spielerisch so viel Spaß macht.

Sometimes, all it takes is a tiny mouse with a sword to completely steal your heart.

Moss and Moss: Book II are true gems of VR gaming. From the very first moment, it feels like stepping into a living fairy tale unfolding right before your eyes. The visuals are breathtaking ♡♡♡ — beautifully detailed environments, warm lighting, and an almost tangible magic in every corner. Every blade of grass, every stone, every particle of dust adds to the illusion of truly being inside Quill’s world.

And then there’s ☘︎ Quill ☘︎ — brave, charming, and so expressive that you can’t help but fall in love with her. Her tiny gestures, the twitch of her ears, that proud look after a victory, the little high-five moments... all of it makes her feel so alive, and surprisingly emotional. You almost forget she’s just a character in a game.

The controls are intuitive, the level design is clever, and the puzzles are perfectly balanced — challenging, but never frustrating. Especially in Book II, you can really feel how Polyarc refined the gameplay and placed even greater focus on emotion and storytelling. Beautifully made and highly enjoyable like the first. I wasn't sure at first, why I would want to play a 3rd person platformer in VR. Didn't see the point. But the way Moss blends controlling the character while you're also in there, controlling the world, works amazingly in VR. At some point you just forget the mouse is you, and you control it without a second thought. Love it.

I get these game, Played Carly and the reaper man, just not really a great game for what I like. It was a part of a bundle, I just can't stand cutesy, cutesy game. This is most definitely one of them.

It's a bit more polished than the first game and it offers some new things to play with. It's similar to the first game, but you can tell that the team has learned a lot. My favorite VR game yet. Improves on the original universally. Keeps its storybook feel while adding more foibles and complexity to the story. The art is breathtaking - I often found myself stopping the gameplay just to stand up and look around the immaculate diorama of each stage. This demonstrates, to me, the beauty with which traditional-style gameplay and VR-style experiences can be synthesized.

Le monde de Moss, c'est du mignon et gentil. Les décors sont magnifiques avec cette perspective du dessus dans un monde visiblement autrefois habité par des humains. Les personnages sont de vraies peluches.
Mais Moss c'est aussi des énigmes intéressantes où on peut intervenir de différente manière (déplacer certains objets, végétaliser un mur pour y grimper, ...) et quelques combats contre des insectes robotiques.
La difficulté est bonne sans être excessive. Un titre VR de grande qualité.

An easy recommendation for anyone who enjoyed the previous game. Plenty of fun puzzles, memorable environments, as well as the terrific animation that I adored in the original [i]Moss[/i]. Most crucially it's the grand conclusion to the game's two-part tale! I'm very much grateful to Polyarc for porting this game to PC- thankfully it doesn't exhibit the same performance trouble that the prior game's port had.

Что может быть лучше Moss? Только Moss: Book II.

От своих идей игра не отказывается и предлагает то же самое, но с ворохом крутых нововведений. Если в первой части мы шли к замку, то теперь всю игру находимся в этом замке, путешествуя по его дверям, которые иногда ведут в другие миры. Да, появилась лёгкая нотка метроидвании, которая сначала мне не понравилась. Но скепсис быстро пропал, потому что путь назад чаще всего блокируют и предлагают альтернативный маршрут.

Порой можно увидеть непроходимые маршруты, где требуется какая-то способность. Не переживайте, вы всё получите в нужный момент. Теперь у нас не только меч, но и в будущем будет чакрам и большой молот. Каждое оружие можно зарядить, чтобы провести мощную атаку, также она помогает решать загадки. Например, можно зарядить чакрам и закрепить его в обозначенном месте, встать по нужным углом и вернуть его себе, чтобы разрушить блокировщик. Жаль только, что в бою жонглировать оружием нельзя. Приходится открывать инвентарь и менять вручную.

Сражения точно такие же, как и в первой части, нетрудно, но нужно быть внимательным. Или сразу атакуем, пока враг только появляется, или делаем несколько ударов и уворачиваемся. Среди новых противников появятся бронированные, которых можно победить только заряженным молотом. Также будет эдакий броненосец, который чаще используется в решении загадок, а ещё маленький жук, стреляющий минами. Если получили маслины от врагов, то Квилл всегда можно подлечить нашими руками. Нашими же руками можем хватать врагов за шкирку, чтобы с помощью мышки бить их.

Боссов стало больше и все они разнообразные. Большого краба немного повторили из первой части. Последний самый классный, особенно погоня от него.

Стоит отметить неприлично хорошее качество анимаций. Будто смотришь дорогой мультик. Квилл грациозно уворачивается и размахивает оружием, карабкается и так далее. Полноценные катсцены не завезли, чаще всего будем перелистывать страницы со слегка анимированными изображениями.

Загадки нетрудные, но некоторые могут заставить почесать затылок. Игра прекрасно комбинирует необходимость делать что-то своими руками и управлять главной героиней. В конце решение загадок будет требовать использование нескольких видов оружия по очереди. Также нам добавят возможность заставлять на сухих ветках расти цветы, чтобы мышка могла по ним карабкаться. Ещё мы можем в определённых местах проводить дорожки из растений, чтобы по ним можно было пройти.

Как и в первой части, разрушаем все коробки и вазы, чтобы получить пыль для достижения. Для каждой ключевой локации собираются свои свитки. Если собрать каждый свиток, то соберутся красивые витражи, их также будет видно в перерывах на катсцены.

С помощью наших способностей можно заходить в святилища. Увы, в них лежат просто разные костюмы, которые ничего не дают, кроме внешности.

Всё вместе создаёт идеальный коктейль, от которого не хочется отрываться. Происходящее очаровывает и увлекает от начала до финала.

Сюжет полностью рассказан и правда хочется узнать, что будет дальше. Мы являемся читателем, который может помогать герою книги, но в разумных пределах. А до этого был другой читатель, который собрал все волшебные осколки и оказался злым, его с трудом удалось победить. Теперь мы пытаемся помешать злому читателю собрать все осколки вновь, так как снова Мосс (название мира) это не переживёт.

Выглядит игра превосходно. Фоны стали детализированнее, а делать скриншоты одно удовольствие. Виды просто завораживают, особенно зимняя локация и последняя. Конечно, разглядеть всё в полной красе пока не могу, потому что ещё не приобрёл кабель (сейчас играю при помощи Wi-Fi). Думаю, что именно для подобных игр лучше всего покупать кабель или играть напрямую с VR-гарнитуры.

Всё также выбрана нетипичная перспектива для VR-игры. Каждые комнаты представлены в виде диорам, по которым передвигается наша мышка. А мы находимся где-то вдалеке сбоку, нам открывается полная картина этой комнаты.

Музыка прекрасная и хорошо играет на погружение. А русский язык завезли официально, возрадуемся! Увы, русской озвучки нет, только субтитры, но и это хорошо.

В первой части у вас могла быть претензия к продолжительности. Вторая часть чуть подлиннее и в ней происходит гораздо больше интересных события и смен обстановки.

Как кратко описать эту игру? Dead Space 2. Знаю, что надоел с этим сравнением, но как ещё назвать идеальный сиквел? Проходите первую часть и без раздумий бегите во вторую! Эта серия - настоящий бриллиант в мире VR-игр! Намёк на продолжение есть, главное, чтобы этим намёком не оказалась Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss.

As expected, the graphics are charming and the music is spectacular. The story and gameplay have left nothing to be desired. Except maybe a sequel, though the loose ends a sequel could tie up are few.

Regardless, that was a wonderful experience very much worth full price. If I do not find word of a sequel, I just might make up for it by seeing what else the devs have made.

Очень приятная игра, прям я бы сказал по своему великолепна. Исторя конечно шаблонная, в том плане что есть герой, есть злодей, но кому не пофиг если она хорошая?
Задумка игры тоже достаточно хорошо реализована. Управление местами конечно такое себе и почему то нет бинда на кнопку паузы, добавьте эту кнопку блин в раскладку, я не собираюсь лезть в настройки раскладок и искать там нужную кнопку для бинда. (уже моя вторая VR игра где нет бинда на кнопку паузы)

Боёвка в игре простенькая, но в то же время даёт напрячься, особенно когда противников много и к каждому свой подход и техники. Также отмечу босс файты, их тут три, причём один из них почти полная копия из первой части, но да, они хороши для VR игры, и всё же не могу не отметить что они скучноваты на мой взгляд, в том плане что очень мало интересных взаимодействий читателя с боссом.

Пейзажи в игре нереально атмосферные и красивые, в частности и из-за того что это VR и можно прочувствовать объём, то впечатления остаются только положительные. Здесь они ещё красивее чем в первой части. Некрасивых локаций на мой взгляд в игре нет, каждая по своему красива.
Я почти залпом прошёл обе части, и мне очень понравилось.
На мой взгляд цена на данную часть игры вполне оправдана. от меня игре 8/10

Если ваша мама ничего кроме игр "три в ряд" не видела, то дайте ей поиграть в это, уверен она оценит.
