Игра просто шикарная! куча возможностей кастомизации и проявления фантазии! Чувствую проведу кучу времени в ней.. Но есть нюансы: 1. Страдает русский язык, но разработчики сказали что работают над новым языковым движком, и там уже можно будет сообществу дальше помочь с переводом (на данный момент такой возможности пока - что нет). 2. Хоть возможностей и много, очень много, что явно тяжело реализуется на таких маштабах, но видно что игра правда еще в раннем доступе, не хватает будто бы очевидных вещей, по типу возможности создать квест со сбором цветочков? Или просто собирательство как профессия.. Поэтому хотелось бы пожелать удачи разработчикам в развитии текущего прекрасного проекта! Все еще впереди, где в наших силах делать всё возможное и поддерживать разработчиков.

I booted up MMO RPG Tycoon 2 thinking I’d casually build a cute little fantasy world.
3 hours later I was manually adjusting EXP curves because “Level 7 felt emotionally incorrect.”
10 hours later I had:
A fully functioning economy
A forest that taxes players for breathing
And a dungeon boss I nerfed 6 times because he kept committing mass player genocide
At some point I realized… I’m not playing an MMO.
I AM the unpaid developer.
You don’t just design quests—you question your own morality:
“Should wolves drop pants?”
“Is it ethical to make players walk this far?”
“Do I hate fun?”
Also, nothing humbles you faster than watching your “perfectly balanced game” get absolutely destroyed by NPCs named stuff like Greg the Slightly Damp.
Performance: My PC is fine. My sanity is not.
Gameplay: Addictive. Dangerous. Spreadsheet simulator disguised as a game.
Difficulty: Depends how much you respect your own time (I clearly don’t).
10/10 would accidentally become a game designer again.

Le jeu est sympa, un jeu de gestion de MMORPG, bien qu'il soit toujours en développement il progresse encore, il y a des mises a jours (exemple les factions c'est tous récent). Mais parfois je trouve que C'est trop comme la gestion de l'énergie dans chaque zone.
Possibilité de jouer en bac a sable donc sans calculer l'argent ou en normal avec l'argent qui compte.
Mais a l'image d'un Tycoon, il y a toujours des joueurs dans votre jeu même si vous faites n'importe quoi et qu'ils se plaignent.
Vous pouvez prendre le controle d'un joueur et jouer a sa place. Bien que j'aurais aimer pouvoir y avoir mon propre perso et faire l'aventure moi aussi.

The only complaint I had with this game was the cursor. Yes it's cool, but it ♥♥♥♥♥ with my brain when I try to play this game and it messes me up. I just started playing again after years of not playing, it is a cool game. (if you change the cursor. lmfao.!!)

Goldmine of simulation with infinite possibility, but sadly the game are very slow at updating im not reccomend it right now unless there is a lot more update / content my recomendation is Save your money for now or wishlist it. Unless you are fine with paying and waiting years for it to become a full game, hold off. It's a diamond, but it's still stuck deep in the rough.

Very cool game, can't wait for more features to be added! I don't know if it's planned but being able to create items (weapons, armor, rings, etc) and choose their stats would be a great addition!
I really love this game, but be warned - it's not for everyone. It's tycoon game is a little light, but the creativity is absolutely amazing. If you're not into games with a lot of waiting, then you might want to check elsewhere, but for those that like a slow burn, it's great!
I absolutely love this game, whenever I feel myself wishing that I could play and mmo but not play mmo (lol ik what that sounds like) I hop on this game. I have always hated and wished mmos were what i thought they were and have tried various different ones and never really felt enjoyment out of them. May be because I actually like creating them rather than playing them and this game does just that. I have had this game for what i want to say is like 2 years or less and I have consistently been pleasantly surprised with the updates and patchs every time this creator releases them. I remember first playing and loving it but being mad about the lag and such because it made me have to stop. Well since then he has drastically improved the lag, although it is still there you can truly see there has been a great improvement. Every time I would hop on this game as well I would find new content added that made it very fun to customize such as the dungeons and the bosses added with them.
The only downside to this game is the lag, but like I said before this developer is truly adding content and trying to fix all the issues with it. I can easily see myself playing this game slowly over the years to the point where I over a thousand hours of enjoyment.

bon au premier abord le concept est vraiment bon MAiS il y a encore pas mal de limitation, deja ce que je vais dire va faire tres mal, car le jeux de base passe par la gestrion du budget, mais celuis ci meme en le desactivant reste actif en fond et bon dieux les depense sont EXESSIF ! tout est TROP cher meme le developpment c'est abusif 20k par requette de dev... les tarif des ajout de dev est un peu cher mais principalement c'est la le probleme on doit faire evoler rapidement le jeux car les "joueur" passe les niveaux BIEN trop rapidement ce qui fait que vous devez rusher CONSTAMENT ! mais aussi creuser encore plus le gouffre financier que vous devez rendre... bref encore loin d'etre fini et d'ailleurs il manque encore trop de chose sur les decoration et les batiment reelement utille... bref cool au depart mais contraignant a la fin.... et le prix du jeux aussi c'est un pe trop cher pour ce qu'il met vraiment en avant...

MMORPG Tycoon 2 is a sequel to MMORPG Tycoon, which was a very simplistic game where you created a mmorpg for virtual players to play. This game contains better gameplay and more visuals compared to the original one, which might be interesting to look at if you want a mmorpg game simulation.
Here you can create a custom mmorpg game, with its own name, thematic and everything else. The world map is generated via chunks, which you can keep clicking to regenerate until it creates lands in a way you like (You can also terraform underwater or overwater lands to be places the player can/can't go).
You can create custom classes, monsters and npcs for the game, and make use of a quite powerful character creator to create any kind of character you want to fill those roles. You can for example make a game with classic rpg characters, like the warrior, mage and stuff; or you can make a it just be a bunch of of differently colored bunnies.
The characters can be setup easily by sliders on how much health, mana and rage they can have, aswell as their skill sets can be fully customized, from effects to their potence, resource costs and stuff. You can even make aoe skills too.
You can setup zones with their own level range, and place structures, roads and even monsters to spawn in them. Structures can be functional, like an INN for adventurers to logout at, tavern so they can gather and make parties (when unlocked) and stuff, blacksmith to buy equipments and more.
The game you make in the mmorpg tycoon is in constant development, being that you need to earn funding through having players buy and play the game, in order to develop more features for the game, like unlocking parties, friends list, dungeons and etc. And I gotta tell you, that unlocking the new features is really cool, and the fact you can actually design the dungeons and their bosses is badass too.
Relying on monthly payment and players buying the game is extremely unreliable, and takes way too long, since the game time passes way too slow even on 3x speed, so eventually making the game pay to win ends up being a meta. Like, having some INNs the player can use if they use real money, or blacksmith shop you can buy gear from with money and etc.
The downside right now about the game, is that the game isn't very reliable as a idle game, since it tends to crash to desktop when you leave it running, so you might leave the game running while you do something else, and when you return, you discover the game is gone.
The other downside is that the party system dumbfies the characters in them, making them waste time running the whole region trying to look for mobs to kill, wasting time they could use to progress in the game.
The game itself has 20 levels you can create contents to, and to help you get more players into it, you can buy advertisements too. There's even streamers that can help with popularity, but sadly, they only show up after a major update is launched (You need about $50k to launch a major update in the game).
Anyways, this simulator is pretty cool to play around, and watching the players running around doing their stuff is fun too. Even more when you make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ difficulty game, and lock the graveyard behind a paywall, then you see that mass of ghosts flying back to their doom.

A small game that doesn't seem to update often - and it's been in early access for 6 years now. It feels like a game like this should've maybe been done a couple years ago. But, recently logged in, and now the game is laggy and poorly optimized? Like, the mouse glitches across the screen, everything slows down - and this is just on the title screen. I didn't wanna continue, if the title is like that. So, yeah, I'd say give this game - that's only at 0.26 or so after 6 years - a pass.
Very fun and entertaining game! I have had so much fun building and designing a world in this game I cant wait to see what the future holds for it!

Un plaisir de construire et faire évoluer des univers, pendant des heures ou vingt minutes. Le jeu est encore en cours de développement mais offre déjà une foultitude de possibilités.
I remember sitting on the fence on this game because when it came out it had wishy washy reviews and a lot of language promising to be a game one day, but not being equal to the value of its price at the time. But even then, I bought it and was pleasantly surprised as i got much more smooth stable and fleshed a game than i was expecting.
To my very pleasant surprise, this was likely because the game updated through that rough patch and i was reading old reviews; evidenced to me that he constantly updates and theres so much more and its so much better than what i was satisfied with on purchase.
Chill easy going pretend gamified game dev experience. The game does not look to punish you or press lose conditions, but rather have more lor lesser positive outcomes. Reminds me a lot of roller coster tycoon actually, though the amusments are fields of violence that you set the parameters of.
Good value great game great dev.

pretty great little game to design worlds and watch people "living" in them, gets updates regularly too and they just get better and better :)
Developer is still posting updates (small, no content. Fixes are better than nothing though)
It's hard to describe, I'm gonna start with the problems first the games UI is pretty bad, you get used to it but the UI has and forever shall be pretty bad, everything is obtuse and poorly explained, its very difficult to make anything in this game pretty, and it takes a very long time to do pretty much anything in this game. Its a game with a high learning curve and no real reward for learning it beyond getting to play it more.
With all of that negativity out of the way this game is also rather enjoyable and something that is worth the amount of time investment, its very clunky and has many small issues which can be incredibly grating, but it is satisfying when you play the game and get pretty much anything right, while the AI can be bad and some mechanics seem quite useless when it all comes together which it does surprisingly often this game is undeniably satisfying and just something that feels like you are accomplishing something whenever you do anything in it.
Not only that but the Dev team is really nice, and are incredibly dedicated to making this game the best game it can be, taking the time to make the game well even when development is slow. A genuinely excellent game that stands out from the crowd whether you are playing it as a Tycoon game or simply a Sandbox Builder.

Absolutely love it, a few things missing i would like to see added such as raid bosses raid partys and a few more skills added into the mechanics list such as resurrect when you customize a healing class, maybe a few more element attacks as well such as poison, those are just things i would like to see added and has no affect on my judgement on this game. such an awesome tycoon game would recommend it to any tycoon junkie out there that loves to create there own mechanics names and everything else. excellent job devs make more please!!!

I would adjust the scaling size of nearly everything down to 0.4 to match with player and creature sizes.

I've been playing this game for a decent while, kind of on and off and it's not bad. However recently i find that out of nowhere, I'll drop from 60 FPS to nothing, before my game then crashes. I can run Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, Path of Exile 2, Ready or Not, and even Cyberpunk 2077 with none of these issues, so I'm confident the issue isn't on my side. My only guess is an issue with optimization, or something like that. I really love this game and want it to work again. Please fix.
This game flew completely under the radar for me. It was only til one day I got bored of most modern mmorpg's that I came across this. This game is such a damn gem of a game, I can create the mmorpg I want, name it what I want and just relax!

Наглядный пример игры не для всех, в которую разработчики вложили душу. Идеальная игра для медитативного времяпровождения. Такой себе симулятор бога, для любителей игр "аквариумов" где мы создаем среду для НПС и наблюдаем как они пытаются в ней выжить.
Да, НПС здесь буквально являются игроками ММО, что ты пилишь. У них может быть своя цель (ролевики бегают и чатятся, ПВП-шников не волнует ничего кроме прокачки и возможности помеситься, манчкины - обожают фармить и т.д.), свои желания, они ведут журнал квестов и имеют инвентарь. Игра, даже, симулирует игрока на каждом герое - когда у него свободное время для игры, может ли он донатить и тому подобое. В общем, очень интересно наблюдать становление "Касипоши288" в культового эльфа 99 лвл.
У игры интересная графика, множество механик которые не сразу наскучат (есть и неочевидные), большое количество возможностей кастомизации, вплоть до балансировки классов. Возможность создавать квесты и своего рода внутриигровую экономику. А из разнообразия местных стилей и декораций можно хоть палеолит собрать, хоть высокое фентези, хоть постапок. А разработчик каждые месяц-два выдаёт новый пак моделей. Ну и да, разработчик обещает прикрутить возможность создания НПС кланов и возможность проводить ивенты.
Из минусов - игра слишком медленная. Понимаю, что в этом и есть её цимес, в расставлении кусточков, камушков... Но допиливая подземелье или локацию, порой хочется взять отпуск :D. Так же, вопреки всему и вся, ты не сможешь поиграть в свою же ММО, хотя в игре и присутствует система "Внедрения" (перехват управления с возможеость полноценно применять способности, бегать и прыгать. Без возможности интерации) в любого НПС, моба или героя
В общем, шикарный симулятор толи ведущего дизайнера, толи директора ММОРПГ
Absolutely fire game when you like games that, while they may tike time, if you put the effort in, can be just beautiful.
Decided to pick this up after a couple updates. The game is ok overall. It's at its best when you are creating the world for your players. As someone who plays a lot of D&D, it scratches that itch and I thoroughly enjoy it. The tools for world building are great and there are a lot of great options and style. There are a couple frustrations, the size scaling feels completely off. Buildings are tiny and trees, flowers, crops are ginormous. Fun to mess around with but it results in towns and cities being a copy paste fest to fill space.
Now where my biggest frustration and disappointment come from this game. Class and Monster building. If you want to flesh out your MMO you'll have to go through this and the tools to do so, frankly suck ass. You'll spend most of your time trying to make body parts fit correctly, 'design' spells and attacks, and making sure the size scaling isn't all messed up. You spend so much time in these menus and it drives me insane. I really want to make different classes and monsters, give them attacks that match the flavor of the archetype and all that. But every time I'm faced with the tools to do so, it makes me hate creating them.
If this is something you think you can get over, then please do buy this game, the devs are great and constantly updating the game. But if your like me, you'll find your creativity limited by poorly designed tools. If they overhaul this system, then I'll redo my review and possibly have a more positive tone.
It is incredible how much work the developer puts into this game.
I played it in 2021 and i thought oh okay its a nice game, it is has potential and its early access game, but the first think that i thought is, another early access cash grab for sure, like 99% of all early access games.
In 2025 i looked again into the game and damn, it was constantly developed and the developer put in so much stuff, iam shocked, first time in my life iam proud to invest in a early access game and i feel like i helped the right person with my money.
I still hope there will be some day Raids, because dungeons already exist and raids would be just crazy, imagine designing raids and raid encounters.
Definitely my favorite Tycoon game.
As someone who played and still plays a lot of MMORPG games, I don't really get why I took so much time to discover this game, and what a blast it is.
This game is still in early access, but you have a lot of things to do, so, to talk about what you can do in this game :
-You create your zones. You can choose the type of terrain you want, whether plain, desert, mountain... The color of the ground, sky, if you want wind or snow... You'll also choose where you put the buildings, the decorations, the mob zones, the NPCs, and so on...
-You also create the models for your player classes and NPCs, you can use presets or create them from scratch with the in-game parts base. You'll also be able to create the skills they use, what they do, it's very complete.
-You also get to create dungeons, where the players will get in groups of up to 4 to challenge the instances you'll be creating for your game.
-You can give NPCs quests to give to the players, it is useful to help the player level up or to get them to go to another zone.
There are a lot of things I could talk about this game, about the "network" management, the advertising, but I think it's better for you to just try it. I played a few tycoons here and there, but I'm not an expert at them, so I can tell you this game is very accessible. You'll also find guides on Steam, videos on YouTube, and the official and very active Discord server. The devs often give news there about what they're working on, so make sure to check it out!
To end this review, I'm just going to say what I'd love to see next for this game :
-World Bosses, I'd love to see a hundred players just fight a giant mob.
-More art packs/model parts. There are already a lot of them, you can really create a lot of different atmospheres for your zones and a lot of different models for your players/mobs, but well, even more would be nice.
-A working Steam Workshop to help to mod or share about the game. I did not try at all to mod this game, the base content was more than enough, I know people already created some quality-of-life mods for the game, for example, but in the long run, I think it'd be great for players to share their saves, classes, models, and all directly there.
-And finally, more terraforming. It's finally here, we have a debut of terraforming, but I'd love to get total freedom about my zones, maybe fuse some of them on the grid to create a giant map, for example.
I love this game. I got all the achievements in 130~ hours, but I won't stop playing it. There are still some zone aesthetics I want to try. I still want to continue my main game and maybe start a new one now that I know how to use all the tools. Can't wait to see what they add next to the game. I can only recommend it.
