Забавный сюрреалистичный "мультик", в котором нужно делать выбор и смотреть к чему он приведёт. Немного отдаёт франшизой Rusty Lake, на которую и отсылается в одном из рутов. Полчаса на платину и бесплатность - рекомендую попробовать самим, если не тошнит от сюрреализма.

Mitoza - это игра в которой нам даётся выбор. Как только вы запустите игру то вам сразу дадут два варианта которые можно выбрать.
Каждый выбор имеет 2 подвыбора. Комбинаций очень много и поэтому игра так затягивает, хочется увидеть все варианты развития нашего зёрнышка с которого собственно и начинается игра. Геймплей состоит из клика мышки по одному из вариантов и наблюдении происходящего. Запомнить выбранные уже вами варианты не всегда выходит поэтому иногда игра растягивается намного дольше.

There is no heavy soundtrack carrying the experience, so the audio feedback does a lot of the work, and it gives each scene more life and impact.

I also enjoyed some of the little easter-egg-like touches along the way.
A few moments had that kind of surreal indie charm I really like, and there were even some references or vibes that personally reminded me of things like Rusty Lake.
Those small details helped keep the experience from feeling completely flat.

My main issue is that, as a point-and-click game, it felt too passive and too repetitive.
A lot of it came down to clicking through paths, collecting outcomes, and seeing what strange thing happened next, but I never felt much real engagement beyond curiosity.
For me, there was not enough depth or satisfying interaction to make the clicking itself fun.
And while the game is clearly full of references and strange little surprises, quite a few of them simply did not land for me.

Буквально вчера смотрел стрим где 3 Виктора смотрели как 4 проходит митозу - это легендарный цикл. Сейчас же я прошел игру сам и учитывая что она изначально вышла на флеш, то игра все равно умудряется даже сейчас сохранять свой любопытный шарм, игра бесплатная так что можете спокойно опробовать сия шедевр времен флеша!

Mitoza no es un videojuego. No es una experiencia interactiva. No es siquiera una obra digital en el sentido convencional del término. Mitoza es un fenómeno biológico-simbólico comprimido en píxeles, un microscopio ontológico apuntado hacia la ansiedad del universo, una disección quirúrgica del absurdo evolutivo que subyace en toda forma de vida.
Desde su primer instante (esa semilla inicial, aparentemente inofensiva) el jugador no se enfrenta a una interfaz, sino a una pregunta metafísica: ¿qué es potencial? ¿qué significa crecer? ¿es la transformación una promesa o una condena?
La mecánica es insultantemente simple: dos opciones por pantalla. Nada más. Pero esa simplicidad no es minimalismo; es bisturí. Es la reducción absoluta del libre albedrío a una bifurcación binaria que recuerda tanto a la división celular como a la lógica computacional. 0 o 1. Germinar o pudrirse. Expandirse o implosionar.
Cada clic no es una acción: es una sentencia evolutiva.
Las animaciones, meticulosamente grotescas, parecen extraídas de un tratado de biología ilustrado por alguien que perdió la fe en la estabilidad de la materia. Las texturas orgánicas se hinchan, palpitan, respiran con una cualidad casi obscena. No estamos ante simples sprites animados; estamos ante organismos digitales que reclaman autonomía, que parecen estar apenas contenidos dentro de la pantalla.
El uso del sonido, sutil, inquietante, casi viscoso, acompaña cada transformación como si el propio cosmos estuviera masticando la realidad. No hay música épica, no hay recompensa auditiva tradicional. Solo murmullos, crujidos, vibraciones que evocan carne, tierra, humedad, crecimiento y descomposición en un mismo suspiro.
Mitoza convierte la causalidad en un espectáculo grotesco. Una elección aparentemente trivial, regar la semilla o dejarla intacta, puede desembocar en una cadena de mutaciones que desafían cualquier narrativa lineal. Lo vegetal se vuelve animal. Lo animal se vuelve objeto. Lo objeto se vuelve carne. La carne se vuelve paisaje. El paisaje se vuelve anomalía.
No existe el fracaso.
No existe la victoria.
Solo existe la transformación perpetua.
La obra exagera cada principio biológico hasta llevarlo al borde de lo caricaturesco y, sin embargo, jamás cae en la banalidad. La reproducción se convierte en proliferación absurda. La simetría se vuelve deformidad encantadora. La evolución deja de ser progreso y se transforma en una espiral de consecuencias impredecibles.
Es importante destacar el ritmo. Mitoza no se apresura. Cada escena se despliega con una deliberada lentitud que obliga al espectador a contemplar lo incómodo. No hay distracciones. No hay HUD invasivo. No hay estadísticas que cuantifiquen el absurdo. La interfaz desaparece para que la metamorfosis sea protagonista absoluta.
Incluso la ausencia de texto es un gesto radical. Al negarse a explicar, la obra fuerza al jugador a proyectar significado. Cada transformación se convierte en un espejo psicológico. ¿Es esto nacimiento? ¿Es infección? ¿Es fertilidad? ¿Es corrupción? La ambigüedad no es un defecto; es el núcleo conceptual.
Visualmente, el estilo artístico oscila entre lo didáctico y lo perturbador. Podría parecer un libro infantil ilustrado… si ese libro hubiese sido escrito por una entidad que observa la vida humana con una mezcla de fascinación científica y desconcierto existencial. Los colores son suaves pero inquietantes. Las formas son reconocibles pero distorsionadas. La ternura y el horror conviven en un equilibrio incómodo.
Y luego está la estructura global: un árbol ramificado de posibilidades que recuerda a un organismo fractal. Cada recorrido es una línea evolutiva alternativa. Cada partida es un universo paralelo donde la biología decide experimentar con nuevas aberraciones estéticas.
Mitoza exagera la idea de causa y efecto hasta convertirla en espectáculo. Es el laboratorio de Darwin reinterpretado por un surrealista digital. Es la mitosis convertida en teatro. Es la biología elevada a sátira cósmica.
En última instancia, lo que podría parecer un juego corto y sencillo se revela como una meditación sobre el crecimiento, la decadencia y la inevitable mutabilidad de todo lo existente. No nos permite permanecer estáticos. No nos deja cómodos. Nos recuerda que todo estado es transitorio, que toda forma es provisional.
La semilla inicial no es un comienzo.
Es una advertencia.
Porque en Mitoza, crecer no es avanzar.
Es multiplicarse en direcciones imposibles.
Es descubrir que cada decisión, por insignificante que parezca, abre la puerta a un nuevo tipo de anomalía.
Y cuando finalmente se agotan las ramificaciones y el ciclo parece cerrarse, queda una sensación persistente: la de haber observado algo que no debía ser observado, como si hubiésemos espiado el mecanismo interno del absurdo universal.
Mitoza no se juega.
Se contempla.
Se tolera.
Se procesa.
Y, en algún rincón de la mente, continúa dividiéndose.
