MechaNika es de esos juegos que te atrapan rápido por lo curioso y diferente que se siente todo, el arte es súper colorido y con un estilo peculiar y muy llamativo que hace que cada escenario tenga muchísima personalidad, los lugares y escenarios están llenos de pequeños detalles que dan ganas de mirar todo con calma, y los personajes son muy exagerados y memorables, algo que también destaca mucho es su humor: es oscuro, sarcástico y a veces un poco absurdo, pero justamente por eso termina siendo muy gracioso, además, es muy divertido notar cómo su historia se conecta con la de Agatha Knife, porque comparten ese mismo mundo raro y ese humor tan particular que hace que ambos juegos se sientan todavía más especiales.

Es una aventura grafica Point & Click sencillita pero divertida, un arte bastante lindo y original aunque chocante a veces, un humor irreverente muy bueno, la musica es igual bastante buena, la mejor canción es cuando encuentras a Agatha y a pesar de que es un juego cortico es altamente recomendado.

It's a fun little game, I remember playing this a few years back and enjoying the art style. There's something enjoyable about a point and click with simple visuals and story.
Will definitely be playing Agatha Knife and other games!

[h1]Non-linear gameplay[/h1]
Instead of having a series of goals to be completed one by one with the story progressing in distinct chunks after each one (convince the local bridge repairman to come out of retirement so you can cross over to the next part of your journey, that sort of thing), here after we finish the tutorial, we're just given a list of objects we need to collect throughout the game, and then we can go around collecting them in nearly any order we like and the puzzles for them tend to be generally independent of each other. Once you have everything, the game is basically over besides the little ending sequence.
Also, some of the items you need to collect have more than one solution, which is neat because there are certain solutions I would have never gotten in a million years, and this absolutely saved me from getting stuck once or twice.
[h1]Hint system[/h1]
You can get a hint for what to do at any time, and the hints are generally helpful and not overly cryptic, but honestly they could have been tested out a little bit more, because remember how I said you can go through the game in "nearly" any order? Well, that "nearly" is because there's one major exception to that rule, and at some point we need to [spoiler]ride a bus[/spoiler] to advance in the game, but for some reason they decided that you can't do that immediately but if you try too early you're just told that [spoiler]the bus[/spoiler] isn't here yet so try again later, which is fine and all, but if that's the case, then... why do the hints guide you towards doing that even BEFORE it's actually available to do yet? Seriously, I was trying to beat the game using as few hints as possible and was only using them if I got stuck, and the game directed me towards [spoiler]donning a granny disguise[/spoiler] without saying that this was actually not helpful yet and something that only applied to a later puzzle, and I went around convinced that certainly doing this would help me in some endeavor and was the immediate next step to doing SOMETHING but I just had to figure out what, which of course wasn't true and I ended up going around fruitlessly accomplishing nothing for a while, so thanks, hint system, for misdirecting me, I guess?
Also, minor thing, but if you ask for a hint in your grandpa's room (because what hint you get depends on where you are and it'll be a hint for a puzzle in the current area, not that the game explains that very well) even after you finish the puzzle in there, it will still give you a hint for the puzzle you've already completed anyway, which isn't a huge deal because at that point it will be extremely obvious you already did that, and so nobody is likely to be confused thinking it refers to a future event, but still, that is a minor bug in the hint system I noticed and another way it needed more work.
But these are all in the end not deal-breaking issues, and the hint system overall is good and certainly better than some of the cryptic stuff I've seen in other games, so I'll let it pass.
[h1]Story and tone and stuff[/h1]
So, the weird thing about this game is that a lot of stuff doesn't "go" anywhere, and there are many minor characters who are just weird without any particular reason for it, and why did they make that one girl a pirate? Who knows? It never seems to matter any and I never saw her again after literally the first room in the game, and there are just many things like that where you go "Huh, that's weird" and then it never comes up again, and, I mean, it contributes to an overall humorous tone to the game and all, but I still would have at the very least liked to see her again a couple of times so that even if nothing ever "happens" with her she still feels like a recurring element in the game and not just a random one off thing, and if I'm honest, the entire game feels like the developers had a bunch of random ideas lying around and they decided to put as many as they could into the game, and a simple example is that one of the side characters here is Agatha Knife, and I don't know much about her game because I'm playing the developers' games in the order of release, but I do know she did eventually get her own game later, so I can only assume the developers had this whole idea in their heads and just couldn't wait to give us a sneak peak now, and so is there some big elaborate backstory in the developers' minds for that random pirate girl or that really brainy kid going on about quantum physics or just so many others that would make them make way more sense if we players knew it? Maybe, but since we don't know it, it really hardly matters.
As another slightly more spoilery example, [spoiler]your grandma in this game left your grandpa, and he wants to apologize to her but can't remember what he did to upset her. You go ask Grandma about it, and she says she caught him, ahem, "being intimate" with a goat and she left without a second thought or giving him a chance to explain himself. You have an exchange with Grandpa that goes something like "Do you remember anything about a goat?" "A goat? Aha, that's it! Thank you so much, I know just what to say to make things right!" and he runs off, and I was expecting here for it to turn out to be a misunderstanding, really he was doing something completely different with the goat that looked bad from the angle Grandma was viewing it from, and after he explains, grandma says "Oh, I'm sorry I was mad at you" and we get a happy ending, maybe intentionally played a little cheesy as a joke. That is not what happened. Instead if we go back to Grandma's place, Grandpa is dead on the floor. The end. Plotline over. There's no evidence the goat story isn't true, Grandpa is just into animals apparently, Grandma killed him for it, and that's the end of that, and it honestly left me feeling sad more than anything, and bye, Grandpa, sorry you had to just die off screen with no fanfare. But, I don't know, this was probably one of the more extreme examples, and most of the game is slightly less of a downer, but it definitely leans more on the dark aspect of dark comedy than a lot of other works do.[/spoiler]
Also, very few of your actions seem to have a lasting impact on the other characters, very few of them have any sort of progression in whatever little subplot they have going on, but instead pretty much everyone is in the same situation at the end of the game as they were at the start of it, and it kind of feels like everyone is more part of a premise than a story if that makes sense, which, for all I know might have been intentional because the main plot is how you're sick of everyone around you and no one listens to you so you're just going to kill them all, then, and if your character were going around resolving problems and helping people and stuff it would undermine the entire idea that the world is just hopeless and there's nothing you can do to change it, so I guess it makes sense in this setting, but that's honestly just not what I'm used to from most puzzle games where your character feels personally responsible for fixing the lives of every single person who so much as stands vaguely near them.
[h1]Final points[/h1]
Most of the things I said before don't matter, and they're mostly just minor things I wanted to talk about, and the main thing about this game is that 80 to 90% of the puzzles are sensible and something a reasonable human could figure out (as opposed to some point and click games that are 80 to 90% "Just get a guide", and, yeah, it's not perfect, I fail to see why I have to [spoiler]put on my disguise in a photo booth or something instead of going back to my room to get changed or even just popping it on anywhere since I'm wearing it over my other clothes anyway[/spoiler], but mostly it was good), there's a hint system that's actually comprehensible (when it works), and, you know, I thought the game was generally funny, so thumbs up, I guess.
MechaNika is a strange and fascinating little adventure, a point-and-click game that combines the irreverent humor of indie animation with the melancholy of a lonely child trying to make sense of an absurd world. Some players may find the humor or thematic contrast jarring, as the shift between childish whimsy and morbid satire can feel abrupt. Still, the imperfections are forgivable given the scope of the project and the clarity of its artistic vision. It’s clear that Mango Protocol prioritized personality and message over technical complexity, and in that respect, the game succeeds admirably.
Ultimately, MechaNika is a small but fiercely distinctive piece of interactive storytelling—a mix of black comedy, satire, and psychological exploration wrapped in the innocent trappings of a cartoon. It’s an experience that lingers not because of intricate puzzles or grand spectacle, but because of its tone and perspective. It invites players to laugh at the absurdity of existence, to question the superficiality of modern life, and to sympathize, however uneasily, with a little girl who wants to destroy everything that doesn’t make sense. It’s weird, short, and sometimes rough around the edges, but also clever, heartfelt, and unapologetically original. Игра затягивает, шокирует и удивляет своим увлекательным и простым сюжетом. На первый взгляд кажется, будто эта игра милая и детская, но это далеко не так, внешний вид обманчив. Игра однозначно для взрослой аудитории 18+, тут поднимают далеко не детские темы, также игра достаточно провокационная, много специфического юмора, абсурда, аморальности и сатиры, поэтому подходит только для тех, кто ценит сарказм и нестандартный подход. Персонажи все странные, чудаковатые и каждый по-своему запоминается, а диалоги простые и забавные. Игра затрагивает многие проблемы современного общества.
Рисовка очень простая и так же придаёт аутентичности, ибо вся игра выглядит как сборник милых детских рисунков. Звуковое сопровождение успешно передающее атмосферу происходящего. Что касается геймплея, то он достаточно прост. Игровые загадки не сложные, а даже если в какой-то момент начинаешь тупить, то главная героиня подскажет ответ выпив «какао с коньяком». Основной же целью игры является собрать запчасти для этого самого меха.
Игра точно не для всех. Например у меня после прохождения остались спорное впечатление, просто не совсем мое чувство юмора. Но я могу сказать одно, что игра хорошо сделана

I enjoyed it way more than expected.
This game is actually pretty good! It's cute, it's funny, and it's relaxing. I can't think of any other way I'd rather spend some of my unused time.

Also: This game's store page says it won’t run on macOS Catalina or newer, but it runs perfectly on my M2 Mac. I’ve had it in my library for a while and only just got around to playing it, which is the only reason I got to test this out. =)
You play as Nika, a 7-year-old alcoholic genius with a plan to build a giant death machine and wipe out everything she finds stupid or not cool in the world. The visuals are bright and cartoonish, but the tone is dark, sarcastic, and often just plain uncomfortable lol.
There were the funny laugh-out-loud moments, sure. But I didn’t particularly enjoy the 40-year-old virgin nerd propositioning our 7-year-old protagonist (even if she is an alcho), or the prostitutes wagging or flashing their bits every time she walks by. That kind of "adult humour" just doesn't work for me. It felt a little too weird for me, due to our protagonist being a child. Like, they honestly could have left those two things out and it'd have been grand.
Would I play other games in the series? Probably not. It just didn’t fully gel with my sense of humour. But I can acknowledge that the game is well made and the art is great. It’s just not for everyone, and certainly not for kids, despite the childish, hand-drawn look. I played to the end because I genuinely wanted to see how this whole destruction thing was going to go for her. Haha!
If you’re into weird, dark-ish stories and don't mind edgy humour that pushes the line a little, you might enjoy it. I didn’t hate it, I did find some aspects funny, but I also wouldn't recommend it without flagging the type of content that might be off-putting for some.
I'm giving a thumbs down after weighing up the positives and negatives. It's absolutely on the fence for me. But I asked myself "would I play this again?" And the answer is No. Hopefully my review was honest enough to let you make your own mind up on whether this is your kinda game.

I didn't think I'd like this game at first but I was pleasantly surprised. Took 1 1/2 hrs to complete but was still a very fun adventure.
This is an adorable little point-and-click adventure about an alcoholic 7 year old that wants to destroy everything she hates. I can relate to that so much. Everything about this game was just a pure joy to play, and I lost track of how many times I giggled.

I thought this game could be a little relatable and fun since it shows a female interested in mechanics with simple drawings. I was wrong. This game is dark and not even funny. All it does is complain about life and make horrible scenarios. It's also gross and shows nudity like women flashing their privates at construction sites, and tells a bleak story. I won't play anymore of it to even finish and see if it gets better cause it's just so bad. You can be a female or anyone who enjoys mechatronics without such awful story-writing. This game is definitely rated for adults only because of how inappropriate it is. As a female who has worked in construction with good coworkers, this game was insulting and not proactive at all. There's no reason to play it unless you enjoy hating life.

玩此游前，在续作agatha knife中，我就已经对nika这个角色印象深刻，聪明的大脑，漫不经心的态度与喝醉后对agatha说的那句“我爱你”，真的很特别！比起续作的阴湿感，此游会更加干爽，轻浮与强调笑话，这也体现了两部主角的性格区别吧~虽然此游略显青涩与稚嫩，但我还是更喜欢它的冷感www当你对生活感到压抑与束缚时，就与nika一起，做个【愚者】或【规则破坏者】，把整个世界闹翻天吧~~~
Наверное я скажу довольно очевидную вещь, но все же озвучу что это довольно не плохая игра (тем более для первой игры студии), я рад что она получило столько внимания когда выходила. Лично у меня она навевает теплые воспоминания когда я смотрел Витька плей и интернет был довольно простым местом где ты мог шутить и не боятся что тебя кто то осудит или заставит извинятся за оскорбления какой либо группы "непонятых миром", хотя стоит сказать что она высмеивает обе группы как правых так и левых, так что можно сказать что это попытка в целом усесться на пол (кто не понял я попытался обыграть фразу "усидеть на двух стульях"), а говорю я так поскольку игра не старается показать кого-то правым она просто высмеивает, а в наше время это без ценно.
Ну ладно поговорим о игровом процессе:
а является он не более чем простой ходилкой по карте с поиском предметов и последующем внесение их в список. Эти предметы, а точнее части нам нужны для сбора МехаНики (не робота- отсылка на следующие части серии).
По итогу следует сказать что это хорошая Игра для своего времени, если мое мнение для вас что то значит после прочтение обзора (что наврятли) то можете смело брать по скидке. Она затянет вас на пару часиков, в мир глупого, в хорошем смысле, юмора и покажет как раньше выпускали игры, делая их не по стандартом и нормам этики, а по собственным убеждениям и принципам, не опираясь на мнения общества.
ВАЖНО: Если у вас есть Colossus Down, это 3-я заключительная часть, и вы не знаете с кем поиграть то пишите мне на в коменты, я с радостью пойду ( и да это объявление по типу "сочные геймеры не далеко от вас" и мне плевать что подумают).

Sequel of Agatha Knife!! Love this series
Сюжет: Простой, местами забавный. (Есть взрослые шутки/мат/простое мультяшное насилие).
Графика: 2D рисованная. Красивск. Пробило на настольгию по Homestuck.
Геймплей: Point and click. Просто разобраться, ничего особенного. Иногда ловил тупняки, пытаясь понять, что можно ещё сделать.
Музыка: Вообще не запомнил, но дискомфорта не вызывает, играть не мешает.
Сложность: Довольно просто. Все достижения можно закрыть за 1-2 прохождения.
Время игры: 2-4 часа.
Цена: Вполне стоит своих денег, если есть лишние. Покупал по скидке и меня всё устраивает.
Баги: Не встречал.
Кайфовая игра на два-три часа, простенько и со вкусом. Приколов как-то не хватило, обычно в таких квестах гг забавные реплики говорит, а Ника рил психопатка у неё всё по жизни нормально. Ну, всё равно прикольных моментов хватает, кайф.
Казалось бы простенький и короткий point-and-click-квест, но как же затянул. Несмотря на то, что данная игрушка по скринам и превью пытается казаться, будто бы делалась для детей, игра больше подходит для взрослой аудитории. По сюжету играем за меленькую 7-летнюю девочку, которая планирует изменить мир к лучшему, прибегая к уничтожению всего и вся. И вы думаете она будет шутить? Что это мимолетный порыв? Вот уж нет, огромный опыт в познании техники, а так же сто грамм какао с коньяком сделают свое дело и уже совсем скоро великий проект "МехаНика" положит конец этому взрослому миру! Куча отсылок на современную гик-культуру, огромное количество юмора и приятная 2D-анимация. Одним словом, я доволен, рекомендую!
While I didn't care for the humour over all, it was still a fun game. I have played many a point and click in my day and I don't remember a lot of them. if any, having an introduction on how the mechanics worked. I thought that was cool. The music and the art lend itself well to the story. Barring a few choices they decided to include, this very much felt like a clever little girl using her imagination to play and conquer. Given the world, it very much wasn't playing pretend but the vibe was there anyway. Basically, I liked it well enough to recommend it. ദ്ദി(⎚_⎚)

I got MechaNika from a friend today as a birthday gift, and honestly, I thought it would just be a meme game I’d discard in my library after a quick look. Oh boy, was I wrong.
This game hit me with a wave of nostalgia while delivering genuinely engaging gameplay. From the beautifully handwritten subtitles to the quirky and lovable characters, everything felt unique and carefully crafted. Nika’s interactions with Agatha were a highlight for me, funny, weird, and oddly heartwarming all at once.
What really surprised me was the personal touch from the developers. You can tell they poured their own experiences and creativity into the game. It’s rare to feel such a direct connection to the creators, but MechaNika makes that possible, and it elevates the whole experience. The artwork, too, is absolutely fantastic, vibrant, charming, and perfectly suited to the game’s eccentric vibe.
The gameplay itself is both entertaining and rewarding. The puzzles are well-thought-out, and I enjoyed the challenge so much that I played through it twice to grab all the achievements (achievement hunters, this one’s for you!). Despite being a short game you can complete it in an hour or so. It’s 100% worth the price for the quality and replayability.
Everything about MechaNika screams “so 2015,” in the best way possible. If you’re looking for a quirky, creative, and nostalgic indie gem, I strongly recommend giving this game a shot. Coolness guaranteed.

포인트 앤 클릭 어드벤처, 껍데기만 귀엽고 생각보다 매운게임.
'만약 네가 멋지지 않다고 생각하면, 숨어라. 메카니카가 멋지지 않은 너를 부숴버릴 것이다.'
7세의 어린 소녀의 이야기를 담고 있으며 반복되는 따분한 생활과 막장스러운 주변 환경에 질려버린 공돌이의 재능을 지닌 소녀의 세계를 정복할 목적으로 '메카니카 프로젝트' 실행준비를 한다. 이곳저곳 돌아다니며 목적을 이루기 위한 부품들을 모아 거대로봇을 완성해 나가는 줄거리를 담은 스토리.
진행하다보면 후속작들에 대한 떡밥을 굉장히 많이 뿌려놨는데, 아가사의 육식교 이야기나, 오빠인 데니스가 플레이 하는 게임의 제목 콜로서스 다운 이라는 부분이 눈에 띈다.

Interesting and unique take on the point and click genre, with some cute (though arguably "bad") art and animation. The puzzles themselves are a little basic, but the world and story are interesting with good characters to go with it. The puzzles can get a little difficult at times, but the flask was usually there to give me surprisingly clever hints without outright telling me the answer. The entire game only took me 2 hours to complete + some side achievements, but for $4 it isn't half bad of a game (though I got it on sale for a dollar)
Honestly the perfect game for anyone looking to try out the point-&-click puzzle genre but don't want something too complicated or long
Edit: Forgot to mention, but the game has PHENOMENAL soundtrack, I recommend picking it up on steam as well, some of the tracks are perfect for study loops

以轻松诙谐的语调讲了不少压抑怪诞的事情，光看前面还不太能和主角共情，走完全流程才明白，“不酷”的东西确实太多了，很有毁灭的必要。但因为还有温馨美好的人事物存在，所以整体不是那么黑暗（如果一切都是病态沉重的那应该成恐怖游戏了)。[spoiler]在肉铺搞献祭仪式的[/spoiler]阿加莎很酷，[spoiler]捅死杂碎爷爷的[/spoiler]奶奶很酷，她们一定都会留下的。
游戏内的限制级要素其实算不上特别骇人，除了[spoiler]站街和色情杂志[/spoiler]的部分让我感到了不适。[spoiler]当一个作品想借由成人色情内容去表达一些东西，我们大概率会看到不少女性裸露身体且只有女性裸露身体。[/spoiler] 对一个决心想摧毁一切、对大部分破事都能保持冷静的小女孩来说，[spoiler]把女人当性资源[/spoiler]这些事可能没什么特别的，制作组或许也是想以此来讽刺。[spoiler]但看到游戏毫不遮掩地展示女性的胸部和下体，而唯一的站街男（生理）只露了胸，我也有了毁灭这一切的想法。[/spoiler]总而言之，这世界真是活该付之一炬啊。

It's a simple game with hit-or-miss humor - sometimes it's funny, but other times it feels forced. The art style is kinda cute, and the pop culture references are fun. However, the controls are kinda awful and I wish there was a way to see all dialogue options at once instead of having to cycle through them one by one.
Still, it's a charming game, but ultimately very average.

没事已经习惯了，当年男朋友的妹妹玩的星露谷物语，我想增加亲密度结果买了辐射谷物语...
这个也挺有意思的，开头暴击，谁家小朋友喝白兰地啊，白兰地+可可粉还是游戏的提示功能！
操场我就开始卡关了，B站搜了个视频开头教室多拿了一个攻略，然后视频攻略也在操场卡关了！！！
后来又找了另一个大佬的视频攻略
剧情有点迷，卡通的画风，成人的故事，这游戏看着可爱感觉要分类16+总感觉在讽刺什么又怕是联想多误会了TAT（24.07.24）
