Great game to play with friends after tilting from League of Legends.
All the little details in the sound and the design of every spell, the sound of the ui and the relaxing vibe and options of the training arena. Enough unique enough spells and a way to curve them. The game is simple enough for anyone to enjoy, has a high enough skill celing (considering each spell) and has enough chaos for a LOT of replayability. Probably the best 6 dollars I've ever spent (It was on sale), Right up there with the likes of rounds and stick fight but with a lot more nuance and a LOT more creative mapmaking.

My friends and I play a lot of games together, but one that we frequently come back to is this one. We've put a lot of hours into this game and it still manages to surprise us with the variety of possible spell combos. Definitely have had lots of laughs and fun with this one. I hope this game picks up traction. I think there could be potential for new spells, so I hope to see more from this game in the future :)

Its goofy, its hard, it'll make you made, and you will laugh with your friends (you wanna play with friends). You'll get eaten by a fish, burned by lava, and inevitably launch yourself off the flying ship to your death, and you will have a great time doing it!
Dev is still working on making it a better game.
There totally some issues :
Controller not being usable if you don't have on when booting the game, controller doesn't work if you use the keyboard while plugged in. Random things break and require a restart.
Would love to see some more maps and some more spells.

This is stupid that it makes me play tutorial and level to 1v1 when I already played the game. This is stupid, please fix. I hope you guys feel bad and do better next time.
This dev locked one of the pieces of clothing behind leaving a review for this game and most of the other customizations behind leveling all the way to level 50 which means you will be playing this game far longer than you intended if you want it all.
Ok so here is the thing about this game. I like the idea here, it clearly wasn't a high budget game, it was meant to be kinda fun with your friends and randoms, they put a variety of spells with some interesting choices of "magics", and they encourage the whole curve spell thing alot. I understand the words said and I do think the game is enjoyable but only if you have friends to play with in all honesty. I have had this on my wishlist for quite awhile and was even telling people I knew in real life and on my friends list for over 2 years straight and often. In that time I got 1 to wishlist it and nobody else to buy it or care. And in that time I have yet to meet a single person who has owned it let alone even heard about it anywhere whatsoever. After playing it I am somewhat regretting telling people at all. This game needs work still and the devs do not seem to answer anything or even really care at this point.
When playing online against people I was either the top player in FFA and team matches overall 95% of the time. I honestly hate that most of the time I would get stuck with 2 players who would be lucky to get 5 kills in 9 rounds and have more deaths than kills, constantly friendly firing on me and the other teammate knocking us around and costing kills and getting us killed by the other team, getting in the way of ALL OF MY SPELLS, or the fact that I do not believe everyone you see in the game is a human being. I played a bunch against bots and people and I think they actually fill spots with bots with random names as I could not find any person I searched up on steam and these guys walked around and fired spells randomly just like the bots do. I know in every game that there are good, bad, and useless weapons and whatnot but a few of the spells when comboed together completely break the game. The broken ones in particular send you all over the screen non stop and you go from full health to dead in less than 2 seconds flat and there is nothing you can do to stop it and it seems the really good players only do this tactic but I refuse as it is cheap. The curve function at least on controller does not work for ♥♥♥♥ and I tried many a time. Sometimes it curves or curves too much or just does not at all so I gave up on it entirely as I think the implementation just does not work here. You need gems to unlock outfits and whatnot and even if you win a game with 20+ kills on your side you get so little as a reward I was genuinely insulted by how few gems you receive and the mediocre amount of exp you get for leveling. They expect you to play for a very long time and this game does not have that kind of quality or content for 50+ hours of playtime as it is your standard make a game and pair it with twitch kind of garbage that I really cannot stand.
If you intend on strictly going against bots rather than people just know that the bots will target you far more often than one another. if you are having trouble against 1 or 2 human opponents imagine putting in 9 bots on level 1 and having 6 at the start of a round throw acid flasks in your eyes. The fish that swims around that supposedly "attacks the nearest player" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. When it comes to bots even if your 10 yards away from the nearest bot and the bot is right next to him the fish will choose you over it more often than not and when playing with people it changes often. With the casting most spells can be dodged by just a slight tilt in the joystick or keys. The hitboxes all around need adjustments as some you need to hit like a sniper and 1 or 2 that connect with you even if they do not touch you. Too many things left untouched and the game really missed the mark for me and am overall very disappointed. I do not recommend this to anyone.

Awesome game! One of my favorites in couch coop. Easy to learn with a high enough skill ceiling that you can play with new people or have more intense matches with friends who have played before. Highly recommend if you want to expand your local multiplayer library!

A Fantastic party game that we always come back to. surprisingly high skill ceiling that is easy to pick up, definitlely would recommend picking up as the local co-op and remote play features work great, especially if your friends just want to give it a go.
Received a large balancing update recently, which was somewhat unexpected, can only hope that the devs are able to continue to pump more content into this game. We have had an awful lot of fun playing this as a group.

Игра на несколько раз, никакого баланса, слышали про всеми любимый сабтик в кс2? Мейджквит в рот его ebal. Если вы играете с джойстика то все проблемы множатся на 2 из-за того что разраб не может добавить настройки скорости стика, хотя один Xyй ваши кенты на мышке будут новодиться/разворачиваться быстрее (в разы!). Кончeные хитбоксы моделей и заклинаний. Тип будет смотреть в другую сторону от вас и попадает 3/5 случаев. Добавляя про сетевой код: даже с нормальным у всех пингом на вашем клиенте по вам будет регать то, что измеряется в 1-3+ пальцах на экране между вами и снарядами оппонента (И ЭТО СYКА В КАЖДОЙ ВТОРОЙ КАТКЕ, ЕСЛИ НЕ В КАЖДОЙ).
Если захотите сыграть с ботами (дабы попробовать все режимы, тк некоторые требуют чтобы игроков было поровну), то при их сложности <6-7 они просто овощи, при >8 они раунд через раунд eбaные киберкотлеты которые инста убивают тебя так, что даже если ты будешь что-то жать ниxyя не произойдёт, либо овощи снова.
Разраб недавно выпусти большой фикс/ребаланс/обнову, есть несколько хороших решений в виду изменения некоторых спелов, но в остальном ниxyя не изменилось, а лишь добавилось проблем тк сервера не в состоянии грамотно обработать и показать новые возможности спелов, как итог снова обугленная жопа и минус несколько друзей.
Карты: уже не вартандер, но сyka есть такие, что вообще не играбельны, то blyaть фото-иллюзия где ты ровно пройти не можешь (а спелл кинуть вообще забей, и это если что просто часть карты в виде платформы куда ты зайти можешь), то водные карты где есть рыба которая вообще рандомно типов хавает, защищает их от твоих спелов и багается, то какие-то мелкие объекты что стопят спелы. В общем все карты, что включают в себя какую-то интерактивную/динамическую часть работают через жoпy.
За все время проекта (2019 года игра я нопомню) разраб неудосужился пофиксить базовый сетевой код, в связи с чем каждая катка это сборище багов и необъяснимой xyйни от которой у одних сгорает, а другим весело. Обычный матч без зaлyпы это исключение.
Итог: Игру можно рассмотреть на несколько вечеров при значительной скидке (не стоит больше 3$), и играть в нее с друзьями пока вы только вкyривaете что происходит и мало что понимаете, как только поймёте все механики вы уже врядли захотите играть дальше.
P.S. Сегодня разраб в патчноуте напомнил о предстоящем турнире по этому влaгaлищу, я в axyе...

Great game honestly, its a blast with a bunch of friends. It seems like the online portion is dying a little bit, which is a problem if you dont have a group to game with. About the same queue times as league can have at certain times of day. Great christmas gift for the whole friend group if on sale.

The speed can throw you off at first but you get used to it. I wouldn't change a thing about this game.

This is great game for LAN parties. Sadly the online mode PvP isn't really populated with real players, but when you fiend a few friends and go for 3v3 or 5 player chaos you'll have a lot of fun.
This game provides quite a lot of strategical depth while also being quite beginner friendly.

For my family's Family Day, I organised a MageQuit session for me and my cousins. It was fun. This is the only 10-player game in my library for now.
Very good but dead game
Not a fan. The gameplay is very slow, all of the spells are based on cooldowns, the accuracy of the spells is bad, the spell curving mechanic is basically useless, and the spells in general are poorly balanced. The movement speed in particular is aggravating, it feels like you're walking in a bowl of jello the entire time.
The UI definitely needs work, for instance to change your resolution and display refresh, you have to cycle through every possible combination, it goes by resolution and individual refresh caps until you finally get the one you want, takes forever. You can't remap buttons on controllers and until you complete the tutorial you can't even remap buttons on mouse and keyboard.
The way rounds are setup are awkward, they give a lot of options for setting up matches but you don't really get much control over a lot of stuff, such as how spells are distributed. It is painful the first couple of rounds when you only have 1-2 spells total in your arsenal, makes those rounds just really boring. Most of the stages are pretty plain, there were a couple with some interesting mechanics to them like a giant fish that will swallow you up or a hockey game you play against the other time which was fun, but there's just not enough of that in the game.
I didn't buy the game, I had it gifted to me. I don't see myself playing it again honestly, most of the fun we had with it wasn't with the actual gameplay itself, I could easily get more enjoyment with a more enjoyable game.

A fun party game with a good future ahead. I enjoy all the different abilities offered, and finding combos can be very fun. The game can get very chaotic very fast, but (when playing with 4-6 people,) it never feels too much. My only real issues with the game are how offline play makes you type a name, but even on PC your forced to use a scroll wheel, so I usually just name myself "A" to not have to deal with it, and the fact that I can't assign uneven teams playing with bots (like setting up a 1v3 or 2v2v2) Some things I would lie to see added to the game would be ways to unlock cosmetics offline and settings allowing for more elements to be used in a battle and for spells to be able to be picked an infinite number of times. Overall a fun game, and I'm excited to see where it goes!
