dies ist wieder ein schönes Wimmelbildspiel von Artifex Mundi.
Die Story ist leicht verständlich und schön gemacht, die Wimmelbilder und Minispiele interessant ohne wirklichen Frustfaktor wie manch andere Spiele.
Auch das Sammeln der kleinen Falkensymbole (bis auf eines: [spoiler] bei der Flucht aus dem Kerker befindet sich eines links an der Wand auf der Höhe wo die Fakel hing nachdem man durch den ersten richtigen Pfad gegangen ist [/spoiler] )
Jedoch finde ich nicht, dass die ca. 15€ für dieses Spiel gerechtfertigt sind.
Ich habe es in nicht einmal 3 Stunden ohne Probleme und zu 100% fertig machen können.
Am Ende müsst ihr es selber entscheiden.

Great game with recipes and puzzles. Not enough HO scenes. But there was one element that nearly gave a negative review. This major design flaw caused me to turn the sound down entirely except for the spoken dialog. A CONSTANT IRRITATING TERRIBLE squawking NOISE that played EVRRY TIME a window was opened and closed. Unbearable. Terrible.

La propuesta es simple: historia de fantasía, puzzles ligeros, escenas de objetos ocultos y progreso lineal con vibra de “cuento interactivo”.
La primera impresión es exactamente la que esperas del género: cómodo, directo, ideal para apagar el cerebro después del trabajo… o para encenderlo solo lo suficiente como para preguntarte por qué el reino entero depende de que tú encuentres una palanca escondida detrás de una maceta.

Would only recommend this when discounted. I liked it, enjoyed the alchemy aspects of this. But it's a bit older. The game is short and there's no bonus game

Very fun and interesting.
Very well done hidden object game. The scenery and atmosphere sets a nice fantasy setting. The HO and puzzles are not too hard and not too easy. The story was good and kept me engaged. Depending on how fast you are with these types of games you'll get 3/4 hours of game play. It doesn't have a bonus chapter. It is a good game and worth a play but I would recommend waiting for a big sale or getting it in a bundle.
Story is ok, unique mechanics feel kinda wasted, but it's quite a bit above "ok" as far as Hidden Object games go
Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom is a decent Hidden Object Mystery backed by a nice alchemical recipe book. There's darkness afoot in the kingdom as the masked wardens, old defenders of the crown, are now being persecuted by the royal golem knights. A young apprentice must uncover her family ties to the organization and set things right. There's also a cat with ram horns.
The game took me about three hours to complete. I couldn't find one of the hidden collectibles, so I went through and beat the game again, without finding it. Oh well. The story was better than I remembered, but I have heard mixed things about the sequels.

The game is generally OK, but no second chapter, awful scraping noise every time you go into a window, and boring alchemy puzzles. It only tool 3 hours on my first play-through and that is simply not long enough.
A good game, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around where was everybody in the supposed YEARS before this happened.. It was a little "off" I guess.
I enjoyed this game more than any other HOG I've played so far. The finding and putting together objects to progress the game make sense and make you feel smart. I loved the uniqueness of the hidden object screens, they changed depending on what you are trying to find or make. It has a great alchemy element which I found surprising and fun. The puzzles are challenging but intuitive enough that you don't ever feel like you have to skip. As a massive fan of Nancy Drew mysteries I was surprised to find that this has some of the same qualities that I'm always looking for in mystery games. Excited to play the rest in the series!

这个公司的游戏我玩了很多了，说实话我是真的挺喜欢的，但是我不推荐的原因主要是设备不兼容，明明写了支持mac的，但是才刚开始玩不到两分钟，鼠标就完全不动了，跟画面完全无法交互，直接卡住，不论我重开还是怎么样，永远只会重复卡在同一个页面，我尝试了我能尝试的所有办法，除了换电脑之外，我不知道我还能怎么继续玩这游戏，如果这个问题解决不了这游戏就只能晾在这当摆设了，我没想到游戏内容一点没体验到，直接卡在了技术问题上，我真的挺失望的
I'm a huge Artifex Mundi games fan, but I cannot recommend this one. The story and plot are completely nonsensical; everything feels shallow and rushed. The Alchemy mechanic is absolutely useless, and I felt zero connection to the story, or its characters. 1/5.

В одном сказочном королевстве случилось так, что у Главной Героини пропали родители. Её взял под опеку главный Мастер-алхимик, и, когда девочка подросла, она пошла по стопам своего наставника и уехала учиться в магический университет. Когда она, через пару лет, вернулась на практику к Мастеру, девушку удивили изменения в столице: по улицам бродят стражники-големы, какие-то люди хватают всех без разбора, король какой-то странный. А тут ещё к героине в дом проникает мужчина в маске птицы, чтобы забрать какую-то очень ценную вещь. Нам предстоит понять, как этот мужчина связан с девушкой, что случилось с королём, куда пропал Мастер и другие глобальные вопросы. Ну, и алхимией заниматься активно, зря, что ли училась. К сожалению, сюжет проработан плохо – не всегда понятны мотивы персонажей, причины тех или иных действий.
Раз наша ГГ почти профессиональный алхимик, то мы будем активно заниматься зельеварением. Половину недолгого времени, посвящённого игре, мы будем искать ингредиенты и варить снадобья. Остальное время будет посвящено общению с персонажами, поиску предметов и решению головоломок, как обычно. Зелья делаются при помощи задачек на кручение цветных колец и собирания определённого узора. Я такие загадки очень не люблю, но тут они простые. Волшебные замки с ключами тут есть, но сильно не раздражают. По игре разбросаны коллекционные символы Пустельги, которые реально найти все.

Картинка стандартная, аккуратная, как у Artifex Mundi и положенно. Цветовая палитра сильно сдвинута в сторону фиолетовых и синих цветов, к концу игры начинает напрягать. Озвучка средненькая, музыка есть, но не запоминается.
Обычный середнячок – ругать особо не за что, но и хвалить нечего. Рекомендовать не буду, но, с учётом того, что она проходиться часа за три, можно ей время и выделить.
The first of the series. Very enjoyable, probably one the most logical in terms of 'cause and effect' of the puzzles. I felt like I was in a fantasy adventure novel! Alchemy based HOGs are some of my favourites. Though the 'potion making' puzzle got tedious after a while and I skipped the ones near the end. ^-^
Like another one of this series, it's almost a children's tale (those games where you have to listen to a story? they're here). It's well done, but trying on the adult patience. Thankfully hints and skips recharge quickly on casual. Annoying "do the sequence" puzzles that can't be skipped. I'll give a thumbs up for the quality of the game build overall, but not for much else. It gets boring fast. It's also very short, 2-3 hours, no bonus chapter.

Through out this game, the story throws in different notes and letters to let you know about the whole picture of the story. It's merely a 2016 game with sub-par mechanics, voice acting, and puzzles. But do note that some of the collectibles are hard to see, and it took me an additional quarter of a game playthrough to collect one I've missed. The graphics is okay, I'd say enough for the year it was released. However, the alchemy puzzles are sometimes hard to maneuver. Even then, I would still end up rating this game a a [u]7/10[/u], and definitely a recommend. I am fairly enthusiastic with the last in line (as I played the second already) and I look forward to finishing the series as a whole.

A good hidden object game that is easy and also short. Nonetheless it has all the ingredients that I like about those games: different kinds of riddles, lots of objects to find the right use for, and hidden object scenes. Graphics and sound are fine, the story stays plain and predictable.

Petit jeu d'objets cachés avec des puzzles variés. J'ai passé un bon moment car l'histoire est très intriguante, les graphismes sont sympas mais les cinématiques sont un peu... vieillottes, ce n'est pas beau ni particulièrement bien fait..
J'ai fini le jeu en 3 heures en regardant toutes les cinématiques et en faisant tous les jeux et les puzzles sans passer. Bon petit jeu pour passer le temps, mais je vous conseille de le prendre en promo :)
I'm a bit sad too see the hidden object genre devolve into some sort of low grade point-and-click adventuring with the occasional hidden object puzzle, but this definitely seems to be a trend starting from the 2010s. These games are usually rich with well-crafted locations, beautiful visuals, there is some mildly interesting story, some carefully-made-not-to-be-too-tough minigames, and a few hours of not too engaging gameplay. Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom is a perfect specimen in this formula - it's executed well, but doesn't really do anything to make it more interesting than its sibling games.
If you are fine with the genre's de-facto-standard limitations, then this game can also be recommended - although only at a discount, for 10 EUR, there are much better games available.

Alright well... It's a H.O.G... What more do you want?
The story is understandable (although let's face it, almost every H.O.G. has loop holes and questionable scenarios) and it has choices... By "choices" I mean you get to ask people questions.
My problem was with the MC giving up the object that the Alchemist sought for a long time. I think she is superbly confused as to who the hell is a good guy and who isn't. He is like "Gimme!"... And she is like "Here! Take it!" And I am like "Huh...?"
Yes, yes we are here to find things and put things into things. I know. So I can disregard that part... On account that the Alchemist needed to play with said "object". But he could've knocked her out? Also, her other familial member was rather careless wasn't he? But okay.
The part I completely don't get is the ending. [spoiler]The Alchemist needed the amulet to cure the sick mother... The one he was in love with and then you hit him a few times with a magic spell (where did our MC learn that?) and then he is like "I be dead for her"... So first he wants to kill his brother, but when he is hit a few times he goes and sacrifices himself? Wonderful.[/spoiler]

A trivial game with a decent story! Apart from a few puzzles that took longer than I wanted to, this was a really entertaining game about alchemy, golems and secrets. The story even includes a cat with horns!
Achievementwise it went for the most alright; but I missed one collectible that was hidden in an uncommon place from what I am used to.

- Finding the hidden Kestrel symbols is a challenge. I finished the game three times to find all of them.

- The main game is a bit too easy for experienced players.
- It's short. The game can be beaten in less than two hours.
- There's no bonus chapter.
Conclusion: Well worth getting this game during a sale.

A peine la série "Queen's Quest" terminée, je ne peux m'empêcher de commencer une nouvelle saga du type "point and click", toujours dans cet univers coloré et onirique. De ce fait, c'est ainsi que je reprends le flambeau avec la série "Lost Grimoires" et son premier opus : Stolen Kingdom. Et bien évidemment, à force, on commence à être rodé : les critiques / évaluations vont toutes se ressembler (du moins, dans les grandes lignes) puisque nous avons à chaque fois (et ce n'est pas forcément une critique négative que je développe ici) les mêmes éléments utilisés ; s'ils fonctionnent, pourquoi s'en priver ?
Ainsi, ce premier "Lost Grimoires", scénaristiquement parlant, reste plus qu'accessible : on essaye tout de même de nous induire en erreur, nous faire croire que le grand antagoniste n'est pas celui que l'on pense mais en fin de compte - même si on met en scène des raisons légitimes aux agissements machiavélique - on ne se fait pas tellement avoir par l'intrigue somme toute mignonne et bon enfant. Néanmoins, et c'est quelque chose que l'on avait déjà pu constater avec la série précédente, l'intrigue peut avoir l'air simpliste, il n'en demeure pas moins originale et inventive dans sa manière d'être présentée ; ce qui accentue parfaitement l'aspect onirique qui nous séduit si aisément. De ce fait, et pour ne pas changer, le scénario demeure sympathique sans être transcendant, mais sans être ennuyeux au possible.
Du côté des personnages, on reste avec une construction typiquement issue du conte populaire : moins on en sait et on en voit, mieux c'est ! On retrouve la figure de l'apprentie alchimiste (avec un système de concoction des potions qui ne rivalise pas avec les deuxième et cinquième opus de la série "Queen's Quest" mais qui demeure diablement efficace) comme protagoniste principale ainsi que des personnages secondaires intéressants.
Du côté de la technique, rien de bouleversant : les énigmes demeurent plaisantes, tout comme les recherches d'objets.
Graphiquement parlant, c'est acceptable ; les différents tableaux sont toujours aussi enrichis de détails.
Pour la musique, une fois n'est pas coutume, nous avons des mélodies vraiment poignantes, contribuant de ce fait au merveilleux de l'histoire vécue.
"Lost Grimoires : Stolen Kingdom" est donc un agréable commencement pour cette nouvelle série "point and click", en espérant que les prochains sauront, si ce n'est améliorer le concept, voguer sur la même réussite. Mais commençant à connaître la maison, je ne doute pas que les prochains titres sont d'agréables surprises !

Le jeu alterne donc entre point & click classique, tableaux d'objets à trouver et casse-tête à résoudre. Au final un jeu réussi qui se boucle à 100% en 4 à 5 heures en fonction de votre vélocité.

A little adventure game that has an interesting story. Achievements are very easy to get too. Reminds me of some 90's point and click adventures. Got this on mad sale, so couldn't really turn it down.
A good hidden object game that is animated and voice acted.
Graphics have appropriate quality: the locations are well-designed and detailed, the animations are fine.
Sounds and music are fine. The quality of the voice acting is OK with the exception of a few voiceover lines that sound distorted.
The story is average: it has no significant plot points and ends with a generic twist.
There is a map available but since the locations are grouped it is not really required.
There is only one set of collectibles (kestrel symbols) but luckily they are relatively easy to find. There is also a help option available that tells the player whether they have already found the collectible in a given scene or not.
There is no bonus story.

I like it when in that you can make use of your profession in HIOs like in this game make alchemical potions. All in one is the game good the sounds the graphics and the background music are nice and the story is ok. In one moment you think the protagonist is pretty stupid (totally stupid) and the end doesnt really feel very great. All in one a good solid game. Recommandable

Really interesting! While the execution of certain things (like the sounds and certain dialogue) wasn't as well executed as others I've played, I was actually really impressed with the characters and the story in this one. There was interesting development in the relationships and some surprising twists, which is something you don't see often in these little games. I liked it!

This is a nice little HO game with a good story, decent graphics and enough of a change up so you don't get bored doing the same HO scenes over and over. There's alchemy mini games and the HO scenes are both straight forward in some areas and interactive in others. There's another a little kestrel-hunting sidequest throughout. Get it on sale and you've got yourself a good deal. Easy 100% in about 6 to 10 hours.

It's not a terrible game. And, Artifex Mundi are one of the best hidden object game publishers around. Unfortunately they have a bad habit of reusing their puzzles in other games. Because of that, I do recommend limiting your purchases of their games to their better stuff, such as Enigmatis 2 and 3, My Brother Rabbit, Grim Legends 1 and 2, Eventide, The Secret Order 6, and Endless Fable 2.

Здесь приключение по традиции мистическое с примесью головоломок на алхимию - нужно будет составлять всякие магические зелья помимо задач с поиском предметов и головоломок. Так что некое разнообразие присутствует. Также здесь можно выбить все достижения за один присест, если внимательно искать по локациям символы Пустельги. Если их пропустить по мере прохождения, то придётся начинать игру заново.
Сюжет в меру занятный и даже драматичный, хоть и типичный для серии игр Artifex. В целом багов замечено не было и достижения выбились быстро. Хоть при первом прохождении несколько символов было упущено.

This game was pretty standard fare. The story reminds me a lot of some of the other games. I won't go into more detail, but nothing crazy or new in terms of the story. There's no bonus adventure.
The game does have a mechanic for the alchemy that's different from other games with alchemy in them and I really liked this a lot.
I didn't run into any bugs. There is one collectible that's hidden in a sequence in the game that I didn't appreciate because it's in the type of sequence that the devs haven't hidden a collectible in before, so I did 2 playthroughs to find it. At least this game also has the icon to check for collectibles, so I'd recommend making sure you check that on every screen!

You come home female, young, single and, oh yeah, trainee alchemist. So the normal woman next door. You don't know it yet, but your adventure has now begun.
There are many puzzles and spooky mysteries. Make your way through mini-games to reach your goal and find out the truth. Pretty hard, but there is help and you can skip the small mini-games. The story you can earn is not bad at all and the 30 cards are also well designed. The main focus is alchemy and its recipes. For this you need ingredients and these are exactly what you are always looking for. Well done.

Du kommst nach Hause, weiblich, jung, ledig und, ach ja, Auszubildende als Alchemistenlehrling. Also die ganz normale Frau von nebenan. Du weißt es noch nicht, aber dein Abenteuer hat jetzt begonnen.
Es gibt viele Puzzles und gruselige Mysterien. Bahne dir ein Weg durch Minispiele um dein Ziel zu erreichen und die Wahrheit herauszufinden. Ziemlich schwer, aber es gibt Hilfe und die kleinen Minispiele kannst du überspringen. Die Geschichte die du erspielen kannst ist gar nicht schlecht und die 30 Karten sind ebenfalls gut gestaltet. Schwerpunkt ist Alchemie und deren Rezepturen. Dafür brauchst du Zutaten und genau diese suchst du immerzu. Gut gemacht.
Mir hat das Game gefallen.

Excellent hidden object game from Artifax Mundi. Mini games are not too taxing and the HOP are easily repeated for your extra Achievements. The hardest thing in the game was finding all the kestrels. The story line is a simple yet heartfelt one if a wee bit predictable but all in all Well worth the cost.

Wir lösen wie üblich verschiedene Wimmelbilder & Minispiele/Rätsel, suchen verschiedene Gegenstände und sprechen mit verschiedenen Personen. Was mal eine schöne Abwechslung war und mir auch sehr gut gefallen hat war das Alchemie System bzw. die Alchemie Minispiele, denn des öfteren brauchen wir bestimmte Gegenstände bzw. Tränke, die wir nur mit Hilfe unserer Alchemie Fähigkeit herstellen können. Dabei spielen wir immer ein Minispiel bei dem man Kugeln in eine bestimmte Position bringen muss, dies fand ich eine Tolle Idee und eine erfrischende Abwechslung. Das Voice Acting ist natürlich wie üblich schwach, die Musik hingegen fand ich passend und hat mir auch gefallen

Great game!
Pros:
- Lovely art with great detail, proportions and unique colour palette,
- Beautiful classical music (with harp, piano and harpsichord) and sound effects,
- A variety of interesting and challenging puzzles. I enjoyed the parts where the main character looks for different ingredients and combines them into potions. There's also many hidden object puzzles if you like that sort of thing.
- English subtitles with good grammar and readable, dyslexic friendly font and clear, audible voice acting.
- An exciting and engaging story with unexpected plot twists and likeable characters.
- A hint button and skip button for hard puzzles.
- A wide variety of beautiful locations to explore.
Cons:
- Only one minor con - some of the hidden object puzzles are difficult, as the objects are well hidden. However you can use the skip button for this.
- (neutral) this can be a pro if you like horror games, but there's a section of the game that is horror themed with a dimly lit room, broken objects, hostile toys, a cat with large sharp teeth and eerie music. If you don't like horror games, just be aware. It's a short section of the game with one hidden object puzzle and only about three click and point puzzles.
If you really want this game but don't like horror, you can use the skip button for harder puzzles and play it on low volume if you dislike the music for this section.

Another entry in the wide world of hidden object / adventure-lite casual games.
As with all of them, there's some crappy story attached as a reason for WHY your character wants to do all these things, and they still don't make much sense on an individual level.....but the gameplay is the important part.
The hidden object scenes as well as the other puzzles are good - they're tough enough, but not too tough.
There are a few typos scattered about, like Cap instead of Cape.
As usual Artifex Mundi puts out the best of this genre, and it's overall well polished and worth playing if you like this style game. I would not pay $10 for it though.
This is a really fun and beautiful hidden puzzle game.
The art style is really beautiful and the story is so interesting and captivating.
You only have to complete the game once to unlock all the achievements and it takes about 2 hours to complete all the achievements.
Overall I think this is a really fun game for everyone.

More hidden objects and puzzles. This time we visit the castle, the dungeons and the cobbled streets and try to solve the mystery of the disappearance of the parents of the main character. I recommend all fans of Hidden Objects.
Very entertaining HOG. Games interesting with escalating difficulty. Enjoying it very much, I got it on the special price which was a real bargain.

I've been playing a few hidden object games from other publishers, guess you just can't beat Artifex Mundi ones....
Anyways, great game with nice artwork and another one of those fable stories that mixes magic with a somewhat medieval setting.
It's, at least to me, the right mix between hidden object parts, puzzles and point 'n click adventure quests game with a story to follow, in a short but sweet package... I've played just a couple of other games in the genre that achieves this, but no other publisher gets it right most of the times like Artifex Mundi does.
Again, it's not the type of game for everyone, but those who enjoy different game styles with a more chill vibe to pick and play whenever... yes, I can recommend this one.

I received this as mystery key in a bundle, so it's suffice to say Hidden Object Games aren't exactly my thing or a genre I'd knowingly purchase. However, after playing through this one and 100%ing it, I can honestly say it's enjoyable for those who aren't necessarily the most interested in object games, or those who aren't as accustomed to how puzzles operate in this genre.
The artwork is supposedly handpainted too, which gave a really nice style/touch to the setting. You play as a female lead who's an alchemist in training, taken in by a head alchemist after her parents passed away. There's political uprisings and futuristic yet medieval struggles happening? lmao I don't know how to word this, but there's essentially robot police forces though they're controlled by magic and the world doesn't have many luxuries that our era does. The MC is attempting to uncover secrets about the Kingdom and it's sudden outlawing/management of its people.
I think the story is pretty alright, considering I wasn't expecting a story at all while going into it. It finishes nicely, no loose ends remained afterwards. It mostly has a somber tone to it, with no true villain in the end. It's also fully voice acted, again something I wasn't expecting, and it features several cutscenes too. All of which were lovely and I had no issues with.
The game itself isn't difficult to 100%, but fair warning that most of the achievements are missable. I played through twice in order to collect all the collectibles, as you WILL get locked out of areas if you allow the story to move forward. Wasn't a big issue though, and it's a short game in itself.
I think the length/pacing in general was really user-friendly, something you can easily finish in a single sitting while at work, or idling, or for children's attention spans. All and all, I can recommend it to everyone. For me, I would wait until a sale, but perhaps for fans of the genre 9$ is a reasonable price.
It isn't the hardest hidden object game but it was fun. If you're brand new to these types of games, you'll really enjoy this one. I recommend this game. It's a great time killer. Enjoyable.

I bought this during the Winter Sale and while I'm giving it a thumbs up, it does have it's faults. I will be reviewing as much as I can without spoilers.
Plot? Pretty straightforward HOG but not bad. Graphics? Pretty good. Puzzles? Mostly fun and challenging, but there were a few frustrating moments with the alchemy system. I kept clicking one section of ring only for another to rotate instead. The "boss fight" puzzle started while I was reading the rules of the puzzle, and thus got a strike simply because I hadn't memorized the VERY faint symbol pattern that showed up while I was reading the description. Sound? Oh boy. The sound. Whatever god awful sound effect they dredged up to use for every "click to zoom into scene/out of scene" quickly made me mute it. (The regular music is fine.) I would comment more on the voice acting, but when the "sound" controller ties regular sound effects AND voice over in the same slider, well, what voicing I did hear before being forced to mute for the other reason was just fine.
I can't say if I'll pick up the sequels, but it'll certainly be during a sale if I do.

First of it's series and fortunately one of the strongest entries for players to start with. Puzzle and task flow reasonable well and enough narrative hooks to make the payoff meaningful.
