Best part is when Lilly puts on her super-goggles and yells "It's Lillian' time!" and transforms time and space all over the place.

As others have mentioned, it kinda just ends in the middle of finding out wtf is going on, so that's the biggest downside. I'm guessing they couldn't continue making for whatever reason.

As is, it's a well made point-and-click puzzle game. There is no dialogue and no hints, which is probably the biggest and strength and weakness. Had to cheat to look up the last couple of puzzles, but I'm kinda dumb on puzzles sometimes. I like the style and approach, hope they continue to create games.

It is an adorable little point-and-click 2D adventure game.

The art style is beautiful with cute character design. Music and sound design are also nice.

You will have to solve the puzzle(s) to get through a section/location. There are 10 locations. So the gametime will be quite short. It can be completed in about 2 hours or maybe in less time. Also, there are no achievements.

The puzzles are hit or miss. Mostly the miss, to be honest. They are so random and vague. The colour puzzles were not designed well.

There are no textual conversations at all. Just two or three small dialogues in the entire game. You have to interpret the story by yourself. It also ends abruptly with a strange ending. I wasn't pleased with that. Maybe there was a plan for a sequel. It's obviously not happening since the game is from 2013.

I can see that the developers have tried hard and put their hearts into their first game.

But I would not recommend this due to reasons stated above.

I won't put any ratings on it. If you are intrigued by the art design, maybe get this on sale. Just don't expect much.

PS: It's not available for purchase in many regions for some reason. So, you may have to get through third-party sites or through a trade (just like I did).

Pues resulta que eres una niña normal y corriente, jugando en el pantano en el que vives, hasta que una extraña cinta roja mágica se lleva volando a tu hermanito. Y claro, no vas a dejarle tirado, ¿no? Que a veces es un pesado, pero le sigues queriendo. Menos mal que tienes picardía, agilidad, y algo todavía más especial: unas misteriosas gafas que, al ponértelas, te trasladan con su punto de vista al pasado del lugar en el que estás. ¿Que para qué te va a hacer falta? Para mucho más de lo que piensas.

'Lilly Looking Through' es una aventura cuqui y relajante, con una estética de aire infantil y puzles que te masajean el cerebro sin hacer que sangre del esfuerzo; eso sí, algunos de la parte final exigen que nos estrujemos las neuronas, y hay otros que piden un cuasi-plataformeo sincronizando nuestros movimientos con los cambios de perspectiva que suponen poner y quitar las gafas mágicas. Pero tranquis, todo es asequible.

En conjunto, es una cosilla corta, para oxigenar cuando estás saturado de jugar a algo más largo, y que os durará una o dos tardes sin estresaros mucho. Quizá el precio es un poco exagerado, sobre todo porque no es que sea muy rejugable, pero de oferta sí que vale la pena. Y bueno, si dudáis, siempre podéis probar la demo y ver si es vuestra mandanga.

Avventura grafica, bene ma piacevole e rilassante. Dovremo aiutare una bambina di nome Lilly a "salvare" (?) il fratellino (?). In realtà il gioco non presenta dialoghi e tutto si basa sul nostro intuito, ma avremo un pulsante di aiuto che indicherà gli oggetti con cui interagire. I didn't come into this game with very high expectations, so maybe my bias skews a bit positive, because really like it. In particular, I love the animation on Lilly. Her character model is cute, and the way she runs out of breath and struggles to push heavy objects and levers is so endearing, and it enhances what is otherwise a pretty bog standard plot, where her little brother has been blown away by the wind, and you must save him.

The gameplay is mercifully simple, because the slow, deliberate pacing of the animation would make complex puzzles a pain to trial-and-error. It does its job of making you mildly satisfied with yourself. The magic goggles add an extra layer of complexity that isn't very thick, but is nonetheless welcome.

That said, with how simple and short the game is, get it on sale, for as fond as I am of it, I cannot in good faith say it is worth $10.

That said, what was with the ending? [spoiler]Taken at face value, it has a sort of "the adventure continues" vibe, but I can't help but see the red curtain hiding the grandfather as a metaphor for death. I'm not looking too much into it, am I?[/spoiler]

The art used for the game is really nice. It's nice to look at and works well with the calm vibes and music it offers. The concept is pretty cool, too.

The puzzles are simple and easy to figure out once you understand it.

Lilly Looking Through es una aventura point & click con una estética algo infantil pero realmente cuidada.
Sus escenarios, sus personajes y el movimiento de los mismos bien parecen extraídos de una película de dibujos animados, y ese cuidado depositado en ellos se palpa en cada escenario que iremos visitando durante la aventura.
La banda sonora también ralla a un buen nivel, con música y efectos de sonido muy variados e incluso importantes en algunos puzles que iremos encontrando en nuestro camino.
La jugabilidad es muy buena, con movimientos sencillos e intuitivos reducidos a un puñado de opciones que se nos abrirán con cada decisión. La dificultad, a excepción de algún momento puntual, es bastante baja. Esto, unido a lo excesivamente corta que se siente la aventura, hará que su durabilidad sea muy inferior a lo que esperabas.
El hecho de poder modificar los escenarios con una gafas especiales que te harán ver el lugar en otro tiempo, y coordinar ambos escenarios para conseguir nuestros propósitos o realizar alguna acción en uno de ellos para ver su resultado en el otro, bien podría sentirse como algo original, si bien es algo que ya he visto en otros juegos desde hace mucho tiempo (véase "Day of the Tentacle") perdiendo en ese sentido la sorpresa que quizás sí despierte en otros jugadores más noveles.
Al final, estamos ante un juego técnicamente excelente pero de una brevedad excesiva. Además, su final es un sinsentido, que te dejará con la sensación de estar ante un juego inacabado por lo abrupto que se siente.
Merece la pena jugarlo si te gusta el género, pero sin duda no es un indispensable.

"Lilly Looking Through" is an animated point-and-click adventure game that is appropriate for all ages. This game has a beautiful story, a variety of enchanting hand-painted environments, a cinematic 2.5 D multi-plane experience, atmospheric soundtracks, multiple puzzles, cute animations, 10 stages/areas and 6 trading cards (you will get 3 cards for free).
It's a short game as it took me only 50 minutes to finish it and and it doesn't have any achievements. It has only one ending and there is a save feature, so you can restart or continue the game from the moment you left off. I would give it a 3/10 difficulty rating as the gameplay is minimal and the puzzles are easy to solve, especially with all the free hints (by pressing the hint button, the game will show you a clue) and the unlimited number of tries.
The indie studio Geeta Games presents "Lilly Looking Through", a cute point and click adventure game with a family friendly theme. Lilly’s story is set in a fictional fantasy world and told almost completely by the universal language of pantomime, and can be enjoyed at many levels by the whole family. On a particularly cool and misty summer night, Lilly is visited by an enchanted red scarf that sends her on an incredible adventure as she seeks to rescue her little brother Row. She encounters many obstacles that require her to solve multiple puzzles in order to proceed into the next area. The puzzles vary between easy and difficult and with the help of the magical goggles you can switch between the two worlds to solve them. The gameplay may be a little slow sometimes, but the artwork is beautiful and the atmospheric soundtracks blend perfectly with all the enchanted environments.
I got this game for free, but I think that its market price (of 8.99 euros) is a little too high. I would recommend to wait for a sale before buying this game or you can also try to get the CD key of the game in exchange for some gems in the Steam Trading Cards group (there, you will be able to get its Key for around 300 gems).
In addition to what I have already said, I want to mention that I didn't notice any bugs, but I would have loved to see a different ending as the existing one is very abrupt. The story ends with a giant cliffhanger and it only leaves more unanswered questions.
Overall, I am impressed that a game that was released in 2013 (more than 10 years ago) still looks this good and I would recommend it to players that like animated point-and-click adventure games or to the casual players that are trying new games/doing playthroughs.

Allgemein verdient das Spiel wahrscheinlich nen Daumen hoch, vielleicht sogar mit 6 oder bis zu 7 von 10 Punkten, aber meine persönliche Spielerfahrung macht dies unmöglich...

Das Spiel startet mit einer "Grafikkartenwarnung". Man soll wählen zwischen "Software" und "Hardware", was auch immer das heißt, denn eine Empfehlung gibt es nicht. Schon da schwant uns Böses, denn allgemein ist unsere GraKa keinesfalls zu alt und läuft auch bei allen anderen Spielen meist zuverlässig.

Ich wähle also "Software" und kann mich nicht beschweren. Das Spiel läuft gut, hier und da kleinere Framedrops, aber nichts Wildes. Alles sieht nach einem "klassischen Adventure" aus, wir klicken auf Gegenstände, die wir benutzen können/wollen und das Spiel reagiert. Die "Hilfe" zeigt uns an, was wir jeweils benutzen können, welche Wege möglich sind.

Die Graphik hinterlässt einen zwiegespaltenen Eindruck. Die Figuren eher meh, die Umgebung lala, die Hintergründe sehr hübsch.
Die Musik ist beruhigend, entspannend, tritt in den Hintergrund.

Die ersten Rätsel sind in Ordnung. Aber schon ziemlich bald werden sie nervig. Es ist wie so häufig bei diesen Spielen: Einfache, geradewegs heraus logische Wege reichen nicht. Selbst wenn man die Grundmechanik des Rätsels raus hat, nein, die Entwickler müssen immer noch eine unnötige Schleife drumherum machen.

Seis drum. Es geht voran. Irgendwann stehen wir im vorletzten Level - und hier kommt der Bruch.

Im Unterwasserlevel brechen die FPS radikal ein. Teilweise friert das Spiel sogar ein. Ob Vollbild oder Fenster, nix geht mehr. Teilweise kommt die Windows-Uhr zum Vorschein. Nichts Böses ahnend schließen wir das Spiel, starten es neu: Was sehen wir da? Das Spiel beginnt wieder von vorne. Moment mal, denken wir uns: Gibt es hier keine Speicherstände? Doch, na klar! Aber durch das Erzwingen des Schließens des Programms wurden diese wohl nicht angelegt.
Möglicherweise lag es auch daran, dass wir, wegen der FPS, danach auf "Hardware" gewechselt sind. War aber egal, denn dort war das Problem genauso schlimm. Übrigens immer nur beim Unterwasserlevel und nur, wenn das "gelbe Licht" an war. Ansonsten ging jeder Bereich flüssig.

Ein Bug? Nun, bei anderen Spielern in Playthroughs gab es diesen nicht. Ich war also wohl "begünstigt" von einer besonderen Konstellation. Ich hatte, ehrlich gesagt, keine Lust mehr das ganze Spiel nahezu von vorne zu beginnen. Klar, sobald man die Rätsel kennt ist das Spiel relativ kurz und schnell, aber die sehr langsamen Animationen der Figur kosten trotzdem jede Menge Zeit. Es hat auch nicht geholfen, dass die Framedrops und Freezes auch beim 2. Mal an derselben Stelle wieder da waren. Kurze, knackige 2 Stunden sollte der gesamte Durchlauf hier dauern, 2.5 wären in Ordnung gewesen, am Ende stehen über 4 Stunden auf der Uhr. Meine Begeisterung hält sich in Grenzen...

Wie dem auch sei: Auch nach der offensichtlichen Beendigung der kleinen, süßen Ministory gab es noch ein Level - und wieder war es ein Farbspiel. Natürlich. Ich glaub nicht, dass mir die Mehrheit der Rätsel gefallen haben...

Fazit: "Lilly" ist, vorausgesetzt ihr habt keine Bugs so wie ich, schon grenzwertig. Ja, das Spiel ist auf seine Art niedlich, entspannend und nicht unbedingt zu schwer, aber eben auch fragwürdig gecodet/programmiert, frustrierend und langsam. Ich bleibe bei meinem Eingangsstatement: Allgemein knapp in Ordnung, aber nach diesem Horrorrun für mich nicht akzeptabel für eine "Empfehlung".

It was a giveaway so I got it for free. It has such a potential but let's be honest and call it more like a demo. The art is stylish and sweet and the whole game is pretty much about those few beautiful backgrounds and that's it. The last few quests with color bells and pipes I found completely illogical and chaotic. But perhaps it is just me. But the story... It is just a shame that developers were not able to come up with a simple yet strong story with a lovely ending for a demo long game. You just can't finish your games explaining nothing like there is another few seasons are coming soon. And to make the game longer they simply made animations slow and super annoying what is really bad practice and it is especially strange to see the whole bunch of game testers in the credits. I mean the game testers should navigate the developers to make game experience better.
Also 8.99 euros is quite questionable price for Demo long/short game. I mean you can get some top AAA games on sale or even couple of them.

This was not what I was looking for.

This is a point & click adventure with no dialogue, beautiful backgrounds... and that is the extent of it.

It is more a scene to scene puzzle than an usual point & click game. Similar to the old Goblins, Samorost.

I did not get in the mood - most of the puzzles are based on position based things and the character movement is really slow. Also they tend too be somewhat not logical things (but not hard by any means). A pass.

If you want a kid - friendly colourful game I would go with Tsioque instead.

Charmant petit jeu qui nous fait passer un très agréable moment. This is cute. It starts and ends quite abruptly and some puzzles are not to be solved by logic but trial and error which makes gameplay a bit tedious at times. Anyhow, it's a magical little game, with a cute story that doesn't really need words, a truely magical surrounding aaaand - time travel, tadaa! I'd recommend getting this game only on sale, as it regularly goes on sale for 90% off. Summary: Short, relaxing, mostly intuitive and cool time travel. 6.5/10 for point and clicks.

This game is very short, around 2 - 3 hours depending on how long you're stuck on a puzzle for. A short game doesn't mean a bad game, but there was a lot to be desired.

[i] Gameplay [/i]
Very simple mechanics and intuitive puzzles (for the most part... see below under Annoying Things). Requires looking at the environment and remembering what things do / how they could work together.
• No inventory, so you don't spend a bunch of time using every inventory item on every object like some other point and clicks.
• No 'build a jigsaw or align some pipes' puzzles that are present in mixed point & click / puzzle games like Machinarium or The Tiny Bang Story.

[i] The Time Travel Mechanic [/i]
Gave it its own heading because I thought it was cool, though I think it's underutilised. You have goggles that let you travel back in time. A lot of the puzzles require thinking about how changing things in the past could affect the future you're currently in. I thought that it was neat and wished they did more with it.

[i] Story / Characters [/i]
You're following someone trying to get them back, similar to Machinarium. Not particularly captivating or interesting, but passable. The ending part adds slight intrigue and makes your journey retroactively more interesting, but since it doesn't continue, you only have your imagination to extend the lore and plot. Not much to the characters, they don't have personalities and are there to facilitate the plot, which isn't a big deal, as this isn't about the characters.

[i] Annoying Things[/i]
• The Colour Puzzles
There are some puzzles that use colour theory. They're implemented in a confusing, slightly contrived way that doesn't make physical sense in the way the other puzzles do. They can be solved using tedious guess and check if you aren't familiar with colour mixing, but I wouldn't blame you for using a walkthrough.
• The Ending
It's very abrupt and almost makes you think your game died. Feels like the story should continue but just doesn't. It was a bit unsatisfying and left a lot of questions that it seemed like they would answer. Perhaps they had more planned.
• Mini cutscenes play whenever you do something that you can't cancel, so things can be tedious if you need to go back and fourth a lot.

[i] Graphics and Music[/i]
The artistic backgrounds are well done and pleasant to look at. The characters and some interact-able objects are simple 3D or un-shaded, which can make it easier to see what you're supposed to click if you're lost. Nothing special, so not much to say here. Music is relaxing and simple.

When considering this game it's only fair to remember that the game is 8 years old and was developed on a small Kickstarter budget by a small indie studio. Having said all that this is a fine little game with lots of charm and holds up well nearly a decade on.

The game is admittedly short and can be completed within a few hours and yes the ending is a little abrupt and open ended. However, to dwell on that alone would be to overlook some of it's other qualities.

I was really impressed by the character animation. It was so smooth and varied that Lily really came to life. Her range of movements were quite impressive and it's clear that a lot of attention was given to this by the studio. Matching this is the beautiful fantasy art style and digitally painted environments.

Character control was nice too as the game only allows you to move to restricted areas of the environment which meant reduced time running back and forth as you frustratingly do in many point and click adventures. This meant you could focus on a smaller area of the environment in solving puzzles and less pixel hunting. The goggles were a cool gameplay mechanic which added another dimension (quite literally) to the game world.

The puzzles were a mixed bag. Sometimes they were a little confusing but did have internal logic once you worked it out. I was only really stumped on the underwater level which seemed to be the case for a lot of players. I will admit though that some of the puzzles I was just lifting levers and pressing buttons in random order until I magically arrived at the right combination which isn't as satisfying as knowingly working out and understanding the solution.

Sadly, in spite of the positives the backbone of the game was missing. There is a clear objective but no story to speak of. In a game world that is full of potential for bizarre and wonderful tales, as the player I had no idea what had happened or what was going on. I'm guessing that this game was an experiment by a new studio which had there been just a little more back story and creative thought would have been more successful. Unfortunately, that's one of the limitations of Kickstarter projects - time and money.

It's also worth noting that the game isn't optimised for widescreen monitors but can be played in windowed format. Playing in full-screen didn't affect game-play on my ultra widescreen as all menu buttons were still reachable albeit vertically trimmed.

Overall, if it's on offer for a few quid then I would say it's a charming and relaxing way to spend a few hours happily pointing and clicking. It's a beautiful world to step into and to interact with but with little depth to maintain interest.

Most of the puzzles I wouldn't say are all that puzzling. Really they're just busywork and include a noticeable amount of time waiting for animations to play out so that you can implement the solutions.

The only two puzzles in the game that are all that puzzling are ones that involve manipulating colours. Both felt obtuse and not all that player friendly. Your mileage may vary.

There isn't much of a story. The game is basically one long chase scene followed by a hint of reveal before the game abruptly ends, probably waiting for a sequel that has not eventuated.

I do like the art, but that's about it.

One thing that I find somewhat questionable is that it feels pretty obvious that the game is just part one of the story, but I can't find it written anywhere that that's what it is, or that a part two was every actually being considered?

And the game is unplayable for me. Extremely slow and choppy with "no response" Windows errors popping up constantly.
Searched the games discussions and did some troubleshooting steps but gave up after awhile.
Fair warning, perhaps it'll work for some but it isn't for me. Maybe if i'm smart enough to figure out a working solution i'll update this.

Lilly Looking Through mi è piaciuto molto, è un gioco poco narrativo e più basato sui rompicapo che però sono molto bilanciati e scorrevoli. L'età del gioco si sente nei fondali a risoluzione piuttosto bassa mentre sono sinceramente impressionanti tutt'oggi le animazioni, molte estremamente specifiche e realizzate con splendida cura.

Le due-tre ore di gioco sono come piene dello stupore dei bambini, una sensazione molto bella. C'è un solo grosso problema: il gioco finisce in una maniera improvvisa, troncato di netto e senza alcuna preparazione. Ormai è pressoché impossibile che vi sarà un seguito, quindi è giusto indicarlo. Nonostante ciò, la storia non è importante e l'esperienza può andare bene anche tronca.

Lilly Looking Through is a 3D rendered (2D static backdrop) point and click adventure game with a whimsical/family friendly theme.

The premise is workable enough but the resolution is fixed and there's no working fullscreen so the game falls beneath minimum standards for PC. The art assets are very low res even for 2013, which is a shame as the developer clearly had a decent vision for the game. This is the kind of game that might have done better on mobile. It's really not worth $10 USD.

Adorable est le mot qui vient immédiatement à l'esprit quand on joue à Lilly Looking Through. Comme quoi on peut être indépendants et réaliser un véritable P&C avec à la fois une jolie DA (et qui n'est pas du rétro-pixel pour une fois), une véritable histoire et une mécanique de jeu originale. OK le jeu n'est pas très long et on aurait aimé une suite (même si tous les "enjeux" sont conclus à la fin) donc de là à le prendre plein pot peut être pas mais si vous avez accroché à la démo n'hésiter pas à prendre le jeu complet, et pourquoi le faire découvrir à des enfants.

I mean it's fun and all, but it's super short and has no ending. You go to the next screen and then it's cut to credits. It's like the devs gave up halfway through and couldn't even be arsed to make even a low effort ending. There's no sequel, no chapter two, the company hasn't made posts for like 3 to 5 years, depending on twitter or facebook, and even then one of the two last posts on twitter is just a three year old political retweet. The journey was cute and wholesome, the puzzles were fine, but the unskippable and endlessly repeated animations made playing the game a chore. I beat it in 2 hours. RIP.

I got this game on sale for 89 cents. For the price is excellent, but I wouldn't recommend at $10.

Excellent children's storybook artwork and fluid animations on point and click imaginative adventure about Lilly who uses googles to go back and forth from present time to past, changing things in the past to affect present time and progress to next screen. Game is not too long, completed in a few nights. There is only 10 screens in total.

The first half of game is excellent and the puzzles interesting. The sound is very sparse and there is not really music except atmospheric sounds so low that with the sound on my computer turned all the way up you can barely hear it.

My least favourite puzzles were the colour puzzles, which are repeated twice more. The very last puzzle was the most frustratingly random which I looked up using a strategy guide. The solution is not logical, but if you click on everything you would eventually figure it out. For me it took hours on that last puzzle. I've loved story based point and click adventure games for years. This game is light on story, but makes up for it with excellent graphics and charming backgrounds.

The game ending is abrupt with no end cutscene and to be interpreted.

Charming little game, though rather short.
Me being a colorblind halted progress in two puzzles, but overall it was flowing nicely.
The story isn't really fleshed out, other than there being change from clean old architecture, to the rural ones of the future, pointing to some decay in those places. The goal is chasing bratty younger brother, with suddenly grandpa as a medium guide appearing for a second, then you fall to some middle of nowhere and it just stops.

After the game's release 7 years back, there wasn't much activity from the devs, just some retweets of random stuff, the game also appears to be no longer available for purchase in east europe on Steam, though official site still provides steam keys for 9$.

I think I had it either from sale or bundle, so the pleasant backgrounds and animations were a nice treat.

A beautifully designed and charmingly animated puzzle game filled personality and humour and great music. Maybe a little on the short side but well worth the time spent. The puzzles are fun with enough little character moments that make you smile too. Some of the interactions could have been tightened up a little as the pace can be a little slow once you have figured out what to do and just need to do it but it generally fits with the relaxed nature of the game. Left needing a sequel and wondering if there is one ? Apparently not, what a shame.

Direkt am Anfang des Spiels verliert unsere Namensgebende Protagonistin ihren Bruder. Somit ist der Grund für Lillys Reise gegeben, denn es gilt, den verschwundenen Bruder wiederzufinden.
Diese Suche führt uns an die unterschiedlichsten Orte. Das Schöne daran ist die liebevolle Gestaltung der gesamten Umgebung. Es macht wirklich Freude, sich die gezeichneten Szenen mit ihren ganzen Details genau anzusehen.
Im Kontrast dazu stehen die minimalistisch dargestellten Charaktere. Bei Lilly selbst wurden zum Beispiel auf alle Schattierungen verzichtet, durch ihr rotes Kleid sticht sie in der Umgebung, die mit Details und Schattierungen nur so glänzt, jedoch sehr hervor. Mir persönlich gefällt die Kombination dieser zwei, komplett unterschiedlichen, Stile sehr gut.

Die Level des Spiels sind so aufgebaut, dass wir immer ein größeres Rätsel lösen müssen, um von der linken Hälfte des Bildschirms auf die rechte Seite zu kommen. Wenn das geschafft ist, wartet der nächste Spielabschnitt und somit das nächste Rätsel auf uns.
Die Rätsel sind nicht zu einfach und ich hatte, zumindest bei den meisten Rätseln, auch sehr viel Spaß sie zu lösen.
Gegen Ende des Spiels wird es mit den Rätseln leider etwas eintönig. Denn dort warten mehrere Level hintereinander auf uns, bei denen das Mischen von Farben gefordert wird. Da hätte ich mir etwas mehr Abwechslung gewünscht. Es hätte schon ausgereicht, die Variationen der Level einfach anders anzuordnen, anstatt am Schluss mehrere davon direkt hintereinander zu platzieren.

Was das Spielprinzip besonders interessant macht, ist die Änderung der Zeit.
So befinden wir uns einerseits in der Gegenwart, können jedoch unsere Umgebung in der Vergangenheit betreten, sobald wir eine Pilotenbrille aufsetzen.
Dieser Aspekt wurde optisch wunderbar in dem Spiel umgesetzt. Ich hatte mich immer wieder sehr darauf gefreut, das erste Mal in einem neuen Gebiet diese Funktion zu benutzen.
Unterstrichen wird das ganze Szenario von Musikstücken. Diese wechseln auch, sobald man die Pilotenbrille aufsetzt und sich in die Vergangenheit begibt. Die Musik empfand ich jedes Mal als sehr entspannend und beruhigend, was zu einem sehr ruhigen Rätsel-Spiel, wie diesem, auch wunderbar passt.
Wenn ein Musikstück jedoch geendet hat und von neuem beginnt, hört man dies sehr deutlich. Ein fließender Übergang bei der Dauerschleife hätte mir um einiges besser gefallen. Das ist aber wirklich meckern auf hohem Niveau, weshalb dieser Aspekt auch keine Auswirkung auf meine schlussendliche Bewertung des Spiels haben wird.

Dann kommen wir jetzt auch endlich zu den Punkten, durch welche das Spiel schlussendlich eine negative Bewertung von mir bekommen hat.
Lilly bewegt sich in dem Spiel genau so, wie man es von einem sehr jungen Mädchen erwartet. Das erzeugt eine schöne Stimmung im Spiel und weiß optisch auch zu überzeugen. Da Lilly sich jedoch sehr langsam bewegt und man diese Animationen, egal wie oft man sie auch sieht, nicht überspringen kann, wird das irgendwann störend. Zudem wird die Spieldauer dadurch künstlich gestreckt. Das Spiel lebt davon, dass man ähnliche Aktionen immer wieder aufs neue versuchen muss, um Rätsel zu lösen und sich daher immer wieder dieselben Animationen betrachten muss.
Mir hätte es einfach viel besser gefallen, wenn man eine Aktion beim ersten Versuch detailliert zu sehen bekäme, bei den erneuten Versuchen die Animationen jedoch überspringbar gewesen wären.

Abgesehen davon ändern sich auch die Spielmechaniken einfach so, wie es für das jeweilige Rätsel gerade nötig ist. Während einer Animation etwas anderes im Spiel auswählen zu können, ist bei den meisten Rätseln überhaupt nicht möglich. Im späteren Spielverlauf ist dies jedoch dann plötzlich nötig, um manche der Rätsel lösen zu können. Eine Erklärung dafür gibt es nicht. Ein Begründung für die plötzliche Änderung oder ein durchgängig gleiches Spielprinzip wären wünschenswert gewesen.

Was mir jedoch am negativsten aufgefallen ist, war das Ende des Spiels, denn es existiert kein wirkliches Ende. Das Spiel überzeugt allgemein nicht mit einer guten Geschichte, im Gegenteil, abgesehen von dem ausschlaggebenden Kriterium für Lillys Reise, existiert nicht einmal eine Geschichte. Dies fand ich nicht schlimm, da das Spiel als ein ruhiges und entspannendes Rätselspiel dennoch Freude bereitet.
Ziemlich am Ende des Spiels bekommt man dann jedoch eine Szene geboten, welche viele Fragen aufwirft, jedoch keinen Sinn ergibt - man hofft automatisch auf mehr.
Kurz darauf endet das Spiel.
Die Art, wie das Spiel endet, ist nicht einmal ein richtiger Cliffhanger. Es fühlt sich eher so an, als ob man das Spiel einfach an einer willkürlichen Stelle beendet hätte, ohne es bis zum wirklichen Ende zu spielen. Dieses Gefühl lässt einen nach dem Spielen vollkommen frustriert zurück.
Ich bin eine Person, die gerne über offene Enden spekuliert, aber hier gibt es nichts für Theorien oder Spekulationen - man wird einfach ohne etwas stehen gelassen.
Dabei hätte das Spiel durchweg die Möglichkeit gehabt, ein richtiges Ende einzufügen.
Als erste Episode wäre es in Ordnung gewesen. Da das Spiel jedoch schon einige Jahre alt ist, wird es wohl leider keinen zweiten Teil mehr geben.

Die Spieldauer, bei meinem ersten Durchlauf, betrug übrigens ca. 3 Stunden, da ich mich lange an den Rätseln aufgehalten hatte. Wenn man die Lösungen der Rätsel jedoch schon kennt und sich daher nicht immer wieder dieselben Animationen betrachten muss, ist man auch gut in einer Stunde mit dem Spiel fertig.

[b]+ Die Umgebungen sind wunderschön gezeichnet und sehr detailliert.
+ Die Musik wirkt entspannend und passt gut zum Spiel.
+ Die Rätsel machen, besonders in der ersten Hälfte des Spiels, viel Spaß.
+ Das wechseln der Zeiten ist eine interessante Idee.

- Die Animationen lassen sich nicht überspringen, egal wie oft man sie gesehen hat.
- Es gibt nur einen Speicherplatz.
- Eine richtige Geschichte existiert nicht.
- Die Spielmechaniken ändern sich teils ohne Begründung.
- Das Ende des Spiels fühlt sich unvollständig an.
- Gegen Ende des Spiels werden die Rätsel etwas eintönig.
- Die Spieldauer ist sehr kurz und es bleibt kein Reiz, um das Spiel erneut zu spielen.

Heartwarming and pretty 2D point-and-click with no ending and very frustrating pacing. It could be great, and I hope some day we'll see a second one. As it is though, I can't recommend it.

Lilly Looking Through is relaxing and visually pleasing, but is also an example of why episodic gaming is a bad idea. The story doesn't have an ending, and probably never will because it's been 7 years without another installment. It looked like it had great potential to be interesting and engaging, but unless you're looking for another game "saga" with a permanently-unresolved cliffhanger ending, don't buy it.

It's a shame, because I really enjoy the aesthetic that the game provides. It's a very non-threatening vibe, with engaging environments that are beautifully painted. The puzzles are simple but require you to think on at least a minimal level, and integrate well into the environments they're presented in. I would have enjoyed seeing where the story led, but it's now just another dead-end.

The other negative I have to mention is the mandatory un-skippable "cutscenes" that happen whenever you interact with anything. For example, some puzzles require you to experiment with various levers and buttons. Unfortunately, every time you click, the cursor turns into a movie reel and you have to wait for Lilly or her brother to casually walk over to the object, interact with it, then casually walk back to their starting position. They also wait to start moving for a full count, and you don't get control back for a full count after they're done. It's enough to turn the most innocent and adorable puzzle into a vein-busting act of frustration.

This mechanic wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem if there weren't [i]many[/i] puzzles that require a significant amount of experimentation before you learn how to go about solving them. It's worsened when you have to change locations between steps, which takes even longer. A huge amount of time spent on "playing" this game is just waiting for Lilly to walk, swim or jump between scenes you've already seen in order to pull a lever, and artificially inflates the length of time it takes to finish. It turns what would otherwise be about 30 minutes of enjoyable gameplay into 2 hours of toe-tapping impatience with no payoff at the end.

On the plus side, the music, ambiance, voices, and visuals are just downright lovely. While they alone can't make up for the two major frustrations that I have with it, my hope is that Geeta Games might one day pick up the mantle and make "episode two," because I'm willing to bet they could really turn out a terrific sequel.

Покинув родной дом, сестрица отправляется в опасный и захватывающий путь спасения, захватив с собой вовремениперемещательные родовые очки.

Сюжет резко оканчивается и всем и ничем - [spoiler]брат найден, но мы оказываемся на воздушном шаре неизвестно где, а рядом витает дух нашего дедушки, который и подослал тот шарф с какой-то целью[/spoiler].

Нас ожидают 10 мини-глав, включающих по несколько экранов с головоломками - перемещательными, алгоритмическими, физическими и гимнастическими. Дети [strike]младшего[/strike] среднего школьного возраста непременно останутся озадаченными.
На всё приключение уйдет всего 2 часа.

Сильные стороны проекта - это высокое качество анимаций, фонов, скроллинга и общий мягкий тон игры.

Рекомендуется к ознакомлению любителям неторопливого решения всякого рода задачек (кроме пещеры), которым не важен смысл всего вокруг происходящего.

This is a short and casual little game that was better than I was expected it to be.
Really cute with easy little puzzles. The only downside for me was the ending, which there isn't any as it ends on a cliffhanger for what I would assume was other chapters or a second game that never came to be.
I would recommend it as, like me, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Awful game, less than 2 hours of total "game", I wanted to quit 15 minutes in, but went through with it thinking it might pick up later (never did). Eventually I reached the "ending", which is literally not an ending, just a cliffhanger of what is obviously them running out of budget.

Backgrounds and world are beautiful, but the character models don't fit into it, they are widly out of place.

The worst of it all was, from the 2 hours you will play this, no joking, around 1 hour and 30 minutes will be loading screens and waiting for your snail of a character to finish moving or interact with an object.

Can't recommend, not even on sale. If you got it as a gift, just put it at the very bottom of your games to play.

Really short. The last two puzzles are the harder and when I though that the game was starting it just ended. The ending... is not an ending it's a cut to stop the game. I paid 0.5 and was worth but no for 8€

The puzzles were good, I really had a great time playing it but the ending made me felt there's nothing on it. Is like the intro of a chapter.

Für ein Erstlingswerk ist dieses Spiel wirklich gelungen. Die Animationen und Hintergründe sind hübsch gemacht, die Rätsel sind schlüssig und nicht zu schwer.
In knappen 3 Stunden ist man durch dieses Spiel durch, wenn man es in einem der zahlreichen Steam Sales kauft, ist es das Geld auf jeden Fall wert. Zum vollen Preis hätte ich es nicht gekauft, dafür ist der Artstyle nicht ausgefallen genug bzw. das Ende zu abrupt.

This game is short, just about 2 hours long. I am also sad to say that it ends with a clifhanger and to be honest if I had known this from the start I probably would not have bought it. But the animation and art are really pretty and the music fits well with the story and slow gameplay. The puzzels I would say were a little on the easy side but that depends from person to person of course. All in all it was a good experience but I do hope there will be more to this adventure in the future!

I bought this so my six year old daughter could play it. Well, she had a bit of trouble with it, but her older brother helped out and they both had a great time! Point and click games are not really my thing, but if you have kids, this is definitely worth it.

A pesar de su brevedad, alrededor de dos horas, voy a valorar el juego de forma positiva por la idea con la que se afronta la mayoría de los puzles: el tiempo.

Alternamos entre dos épocas distintas para conseguir salvar los pequeños obstáculos que nos encontramos en el camino.

Y lo que menos me ha gustado han sido los puzles relativos a los colores.

Un juego de temática interesante pero excesivamente corto en su desarrollo.

Nah... al final me lo he replanteado.
Demasiado corto para recomendar su compra.

Le jeu est très court et sans rejouabilité puisque les énigmes sont la base du gameplay.

Vous allez donc incarner Lilly à la poursuite de son petit frère. Pour ce faire vous allez alterner les tableaux en y résolvant une énigme globale intégrée dans les décors. Très vite vous pourrez et devrez basculer dans un autre espace-temps pour pouvoir vous en sortir.

Les graphismes des décors sont très plaisants et la musique discrète ponctue votre progression. Sans paroles et sans véritablement d'aide vous devrez comprendre par quel biais faire progresser Lilly. Pas forcément évident, avec un peu d'habitude et de persévérence vous devriez y arriver. N'étant pas très fort avec les "couleurs" j'y suis parvenu... c'était sans doute la chance :)

Vu la faible durée de vie, prenez-le à très petit prix. Sachez qu'il est possible de se faire une idée avec la démo.

Güzel arkaplan resimleri olan basit bir point&click. Dinlendirici bir havası var ve kısa bir macera isteyenler için bire bir. Bölümlerde çözülmesi gereken bulmacaları çözüyor ve ilerliyorsunuz. İleri kısımlarda çok zorlaşıyor ve epey zamanınızı yiyebiliyor. Oysa ki başta tıklanılan yerlerin son derece az olması bana böyle tahmin ettirmemişti.
Ciddi şekilde olumsuz bir yön olarak bahsedebileceğim FPS sorunu var. İleri seviye ekran kartlarında dahi gülünç FPS'ler alınıyor ve oyun kasıyor. Benim GTX1060'ımda 25-40 arası alıyordum ve kasması gerçekten komik geliyordu. Ancak oynanamaz durumda değildi ve bir şekilde bitti. Bu sorun herkeste var. Bunun bilincinde olarak alıp oynayabilirsiniz.
