The beginning is very good they were focusing on puzzle, exploration and investigation i start thinking steam review are so harsh but it didnt take much time to know why this game is suck, i dont know why all the room look similar it was really confusing to search for the room i want, The lack of the guidance i dont want to count the number of time i search for guide to know where should i go, idk why theres no level up system it would be cool if there was one, The name of the NPC is not showing when you talk to them so you need to search to know which NPC to talk too theres alot of them its hard to remember which one you want to deliver item too, this game lengths around 2-3hours, idk if theres continue of the MC [spoiler]son[/spoiler] but i would love to know what happen to him

Gopher simulator rpg maker style. A who done it using Zelda item trade off type gameplay to progress the plot. Unfortunately, with this type of game unless it's well developed the player runs into a wall and it gets boring quickly. At $2 it's worth the price if you're into this type of game. Really good music throughout.

I'm not a fan of who done its, and point and click games/Zelda trade games get boring quickly unless there's strong narrative progression. Nothing makes a mystery game more boring than when you hit a wall and don't know what to do, walking the same hallways over, and over again just hoping for the next drip-feed, the developer provides to move the plot forward. The reason I don't like who done its, is because if you figure out the murder in chapter 2, but the author doesn't want you to know till chapter 8, you're stuck waiting till the author catches up to you.
The good: great music throughout the game that keeps it immersive and enjoyable, the plot is interesting until it's not. $2 is a good price for this game if you're into this type of game. Not for me but I could see it being fun for others.
The bad: I mean I get it, you don't want this game to be a cake walk, none of your games are, but you have to understand with RPG games, especially one that's pure story like this one, you have to engage your player non-stop otherwise it's just so so boring.

I feel like this game took poor aspects of point-and-click adventure games into RPGMaker. I only played a bit, but it feels like I need to read/click everything and hope I will find something to make progress. It's definitely not my cup of tea. But if you do, I'd recommend you use either Notepad or paper and pen.

RPG Maker game that, like a lot of these games, lacks quality of life features of modern era gaming like quest objectives or a map with a real sense of direction. It like an aimless walking sim with random battle mini games. It's just so...blah.

It's ok.
The beginning is very good and intriguing, but you quickly realize you’re trapped in a game where you have to click on everything and everyone, hoping to find something useful. To complete quests, you need to manually search your inventory for the right items and give them to the correct person, simply clicking on them isn’t enough. Because of that, the game soon turns into a frustrating trial-and-error experience.
That said, the atmosphere is nice, and the music is great (even though you can’t adjust its volume). But after about one-third of the game, I couldn’t take it anymore. I still wanted to finish it, so I used this helpful guide, which I can highly recommend:

Without it, I wouldn’t have made it to the end. Some quests were also quite confusing, and it wasn’t always clear why a specific person needed a particular letter or item.
If you enjoy heavy click-fests and puzzle-like adventures, you’ll probably have fun here. For everyone else, it’s not really recommended.
As part of a bundle, this was the worst one for me. I was surprised to find myself playing as Windir, the wind mage from the previous title, in a murder-mystery detective Conan as a Harry Potter wannabe game. Gameplay is not what I was expecting at all, I don't like this one because its not even a classic RPG anymore.

Legend of Mysteria确实有点那种老式RPG的怀旧味儿，像无意间翻出来一本落灰的童话书，画风虽然用的RPG Maker默认素材居多，但部分场景和敌人立绘还是花了心思改的，偶尔能让人眼前一亮。故事设定其实挺有潜力——你是个被冤枉的法师，得在魔法学院里查谋杀案阻止战争，线索能乱序收集，结局也有分支，理论上自由度不错。但是这游戏实际玩起来就是纯粹的依托构思。经济系统简直是出生：主线会突然逼你交一笔钱推进剧情，可游戏里赚钱的途径少得可怜，就靠特定事件爆点硬币。要是你手快把钱全买道具（还不能卖！），就会直接卡死在这里。解谜部分更是让人头大。物品互动逻辑玄学到离谱：比如你得把“精灵水晶”塞进木桶才能偷听对话，或者按神秘顺序摆元素水晶拿书，全程零提示。我对着元素走廊折腾半小时，最后怒开攻略才明白——这种隐藏互动诗人能悟出来的啊？文本量更是灾难，关键线索全藏在书和信件里，角色名字扎堆出现还没特征，读着读着就不知道谁是谁咯。地图设计完全就是添乱。学院里全是长得差不多的房间，钥匙多到能开锁店（十几把！），但锁孔和钥匙根本不标注对应关系，只能满世界试错。战斗更是无聊透顶，敌人AI约等于木桩，来回按按技能比高数课还催眠。
游戏像一盘没炒熟的菜：闻着香，吃一口硌牙。不如只是挂卡拿钱。

一元的三个游戏给了俺三元的收入。十分推荐打包的时候如。用来挂卡
（另外，请留意这游戏的开始界面，那天晚上这游戏的客户端打开并没有进游戏的情况下，弹出来一个对话框：你渴望力量吗？我：我渴望NZ！ 。。。。。。。以上对话均为想象，其实是一个对话框说送我个游戏，然后让我输入一个接受的邮箱。然后我按照提示输入了小号的QQ邮箱，第二天就收到了另外一个游戏的激活KEY。很惊喜~！但是我并不知道是不是每个人都能有.或者做些什么可以得到？也许只是因为我给了额这一元包里的三个游戏都好评了？）

Legend of Mysteria RPG — це олдскульна JRPG у найкращому сенсі цього слова. Якщо ви сумували за класикою типу Final Fantasy VI чи Chrono Trigger, то ця гра — прямо в ціль 🎯
✅ Плюси:
Сюжет з душею. Простий, але не примітивний. Персонажі живі, їхні діалоги приємно читати.
Класичні бої. Покрокова система з базовою тактикою і трохи сучасних фішок.
Чудовий саундтрек. Музика дійсно атмосферна — для інді це рідкість.
Піксель-арт з любов’ю. Видно, що над кожною локацією хтось старався.
❌ Мінуси:
Баланс не завжди стабільний. Іноді моби сильніші, ніж боси.
Інтерфейс інвентарю трохи громіздкий.
Без "вау"-інновацій. Але це, здається, і не було метою.
🎯 Для кого ця гра:
Якщо любиш класичні JRPG — бери.
Якщо хочеш "казку на вечір" без донату та клікера — бери.

I got softlocked because the game asks me to do a purchase to progress the story. However, you are unable to gain money in this game other than in specific events, and you can just spend it all on items without knowing of such roadblock, and the last event that you can gain money from, gives 1 coin less than the progression requires, which makes me feel like this was intentional... And no, you cannot sell said bought items. That would be too simple, would it ?
This is awful game design and the maker should feel ashamed of themselves.
