[b]What I wanted was a spiritual successor to to the Power Stone games[/b], or at least some thing that got pretty close to them - [b]what I got was an interesting, but largely forgettable clone with a kinda cheap enemy AI that counters everything and gameplay that doesn't nearly feel as impactful and satisfying as the games from over 20 years ago.[/b]

I've always wondered why for years this game was never spoken about much after it released and now I see why. Perhaps I'm expecting too much for an inexperienced indie developer to make something as good as the Japanese development legends of old, but despite the fair attempt at a stylish game, the combat is nowhere as near bombastic and entertaining as even the first Power Stone. The use of sounds and visual affects from that game to make it feel like you really knocked somebody on their feet or rewarded you for picking up items dwarfs the attempt here. Jumping straight into rounds in Power Stone feels entertaining as the first fights are fair, the stages offer various combat opportunities, and the power ups are fun and rewarding.

Doing the same in Last Fight, the AI in Versus mode would attack me perfectly right before I could, generate shields to block stage objects thrown at them, use some electric attack to some how stop/avoid projectiles, block most of my attacks, snuffed my evasion tactics, and grab and throw me whenever I tried to block and gave me no hope of winning. It almost felt like playing the cheap arcade AI of arcade fighting games from the 90s, and sure enough, the best way to beat them is to be relentless in cheesing their AI responses.

One, big, muscled brute style character would always wake up from a knock down with a sort of uppercut, rock lift attack. I learned I could just knock him down with a combo, get close to him when he wakes up, press Block right before they attacked, then combo again. Repeat this process ad-nauseum until you win. If you don't rely on these kind of tactics, like shooting the bazooka at the enemy, waiting for them to get up and shooting them again, you'll almost always get out-fought by the AI that can always attack first or evade into an attack at the perfect time, and is obsessed with grabbing EVERY. SINGLE. ITEM. FROM. THE. STAGE. EVERY. TIME.

The difficulty from the Story mode starts off more reasonable, but the whole mode can be finished in 20-30 minutes, and with it being a 1 vs 1 focused fighting game with little content, I felt practically no reason to keep playing. Power Stone had a similar issue, but the key difference is that the gameplay felt so fun, I'd be willing to play the same arcade mode again, just to see if i could play it better or faster, or more importantly try out other characters. It does seem like every character plays a bit differently, but for some reason, I wasn't really motivated to play them all (other than to maybe get my Steam Trading card drops). Unlike Power Stone, your "Power Up" mode you get from picking up the 3 treasures isn't based on your character, but is based on the Stage. They don't always feel exciting and even though I was getting pummeled by the AI in my early play of this, I was able to decently evade their attacks most of the time, making the supers feel useless, despite the stages not having the ability to bounce off walls or spin around poles like in Power Stone.

[b]I could see this game being "fun with friends" but that applies to practically any game.[/b] You probably would get more mileage out of this by playing people of different skill levels and tactics versus an always competent or always incompetent AI, but that's maybe for a few minutes or hours at best. [b]I'd always be down to play a few games of Power Stone 1/2 with friends (or even strangers) at a party like the YoVideoGames Twitch streamers, but Last Fight is a kinda game I'd play once or twice and never touch again.[/b]

It feels very Powerstone-like but doesn't quite hit the mark.

This is the first game I've played in years that feels similar to Powerstone. The use of items and super forms with interactable stages, it all feels similar.

Graphics look pretty nice and the music is adequate.

You are able to pick up and throw items and catch them if they are thrown at you. Items in the game are quite limited though and you do not unlock more items through gameplay unfortunately.

Stage designs look varied and have some hazards but some are a little uninspired.

Combat feels quite satisfying. I do miss some of the movement options that they had in Powerstone where you could swing from poles or push off walls or bounce off your opponent's head by pressing P + K.

The super forms power up your character but in this game instead of being character specific you have a super form tied to the stage that you are playing on and the super forms repeat so you only have a select few transformations in the game. This was the first thing that made me feel that something was missing. This could be attributed to budget constraints but was very disappointing.

Another thing is that there are a very limited amount of games modes. The arcade mode is limited to two playable characters instead of having the entire cast playable, which is sorely lacking. The story plays out almost exactly the same regardless of who you play as too. There is no option to play the campaign in co-op either which is disappointing as it would have given another (albeit very limited) play option. You can also play team matches against bots or other (local) players or a mix of both.

My biggest gripe is that the game is local multiplayer only so you will need 4 of you in the same room if you want to have a 4-player match which is extremely rare in PC gaming.

I have played 2-player local matches and they were quite fun so if you have someone to play with then you'll get some enjoyment out of the game (if this is your genre).

As a single player experience though you will get bored very quickly so I wouldn't recommend it.

Love this game and wish it had more of a following. Tight controls, unique style, original combat system, and over all very fun. I do wish the game had a bit more padding. I beat the mean story in under 30 minutes and played with the free play a little, but the limited time i experience was more fun than I've had playing most mainstream fighters.
What this game needs is a sexy poster-girl. Obviously they don't "need" it, but its proven that kind of stuff gets peoples attention. (Tracer, Chun-Li, Bayonetta, Ivy Valentine, Laura Croft, YoRHa 2B, you get the picture.) Maybe if more people bought the game, Piranaking can afford to add additional characters, stages, and story elements. I know that's unethical, but dammit I want this game to succeed! Buy it.

The game is really poor ... That its biggest issue : few levels, few characters with no really differences of skills, a little bit buggy and not a lot of environmentals things to help you during fights, finished in 30 minutes an multiplayer as poor as the rest. Music and sounds effects are pretty cools but, even as a big fan of the book and animated serie, I think that's just a waste of time.

Characters are different and ok to play, but played with a buddy and it cant capture the fun of a Powerstone or Smash Bros.

This game lacks depth and variety in a lot of ways.

First off, it's primary selling point, the multiplayer mode only covers the bare minimum of what you would expect of a title in this genre and price category:
- Only 2 different versus game modes, being the mix of brawling and item-usage as shown in the trailer and a hastily tacked on Pinball mode, where opponents can only be hurt by shooting stage hazards at them.
- Featuring 9 playable characters that may diverge in terms of range, speed and specials but all rely on the same limited moveset which in the end makes them all play more or less the same. The "advanced techs" like perfect blocking or dodging don't really add anything to this except making some cpus almost impossible to beat in hand to hand combat.
- And at last the 8 different arenas that do change up the item variety but because of the very limited play options ultimately get old very quickly

And that's it. No modifiers, no item options (you can't even turn them off), no difficulty setting for the cpu, no team match options (aside from 2on2) and you can't even play co-op versus a single cpu. Neither in local play nor the story mode WHY?

This is what really put me off and made me go from being barely in favor of this game to straight up disliking it.
No 2 Player option even though you only have ONE story arc with TWO playable main characters is just straight up insulting and makes this being listed as a co-op game almost come off as false advertising.
Of course going 2on1 might trivialize the challenge of unlocking the hidden character but doing so might make the game at least a little bit entertaining!
Instead, getting beat up time and time again by those ridiculous, frame perfect final and hidden bosses, restarting over and over just to get a character that's basically the same as every other, except maybe a LITTLE bit faster, stronger and with more range, is NOT fun - And, now that i think about it, is probably really just there to increase game length and not have everyone immediately realize how shallow and uninteresting this game actually is.

Only get this if you want a watered-down version of Power Stone and regularly have friends over who enjoy content-light, casual brawlers.

This game got me into the comics, which are amazing.

But, it also made me realize how sad this game is. None of the great characters from the comic are in it, except for Richard. Duke Diamonds is also in the comics, but nothing like he is depicted here. Even the arguably main protaganist, Adrian, isn't in here. And it's not because they can't fight. LASTMAN is an action comic, so practically everybody important is a fighter, even the MC's mom.......

The comics have amazing action scenes, good characters, and a good world.

The action in this game is very slow........ and the characters aren't too amazing. The storyline is surprisingly dumb. It's a fighting game, but the comics had such a great story, and this has nothing to do with them, which is surprising.

I'd really like to see a REAL LASTMAN fighting game, that captures everything great about the series, and uses the actual LASTMAN characters readers care about.

In short, buy the LASTMAN books instead. You can probably get the first 3 on Amazon for the price of this game.

Gran juego, controles sencillos, siento que le faltan mas opciones de personalizacion como en los colores de los personajes, tambien siento que el modo historia necesita mas, porque la historia solo se puede jugar con dos personajes, y bueno si tienes una computadora modesta y crees que no llegara a los requerimientos minimmos pues yo lo e comprobado y lo unico dode me laggea es en un solo nivel dode es con el hombre de negocios, en todos los demas va bien.

This game is a blast, it reminds me a little of the Powerstone Franchise. Great little beat em up. Only wish it had more to it. its a great brawler if you like beating the crap out of your friends while chilling on the couch. Neat polished graphic, decent soundtrack and interesting characters.

Only wish there was more! Bigger maps, more characters and more areas to explore.

All in all good fun!

This game is quite decent and well made, its a fast and fun brawler that plays rather well and it is one of very few of this species in the market right now, the characters are quite loveable and the music is on the spot for the action. The only downsides is that it lacks content and is quite short, I really hoped it would have more stuff to be the closest to Power Stone as possible... Well let's hope for a big sequel or expansion-update.

Wot I wish for:
Larger maps with envinronment modifiers like in Power Stone.
Individual character transformations.
Tons of items and unlockables.
More characters.
Bosses in campaign mode.
Multiplayer in said campaign mode.

The genre extreme has potential, please explore it, there is even space for competitive gaming, imo.

Une agréable surprise! Feedback après avoir joué en co-op contre deux IA: L'IA peut sembler difficile à battre, mais le challenge est là à tel point que la victoire en devient joussive après une partie effrénée.
Les maps ne sont pas là que pour varier l'ambiance comme un SFIV, chacune offre des variations de gamplay, notamment en fonction de la topologie de la map ou des objets du décor/powerups que l'on peut utiliser.
Bref si vous cherchiez un jeu de baston pour du jeu en local avec manettes de 360, ne cherchez plus celui-ci vaut vraiment le coup..

Okay. I understand that this was primarily made to promote and expand the sooper cool comic series "Last Man"...

but there's just a few things here that are just stupid mistakes.

-No Training Mode
C'mon. It doesn't matter how much of a party game this is, it has tight controls and cool combo options. You've gotta give us the option to put in work.

-No Neutral Stages or Item Switch
I'll say it again: IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH OF A PARTY GAME THIS IS. Even when I play smash with casuals, I still play in an environment of skill based gameplay. Items and stage hazards may be "wacky", but get really annoying really fast. There HAS to be some kind of option to just... FIGHT!

-Two Characters for Story Mode
Okay. In a game that has a main focus on story mode, how come it's so limited?? Maybe it's just me, but I always thought the BEST part of playing FG story modes is playing the bad guy. Is it THAT hard to line up other paths??

-Mystery Character
This is really just a personal gripe of mine, but it's just silly nowadays to hold back playable characters in a versus fighting game. "Oh, sorry guys, we can't have ALL the fun with this game yet, I have to play the story mode first." Even worse, the accuiring method is so stupidly specific, it just feels like a cheap developer gag.

This game could be SO GOOD. I LOVE the visuals and I LOVE how the controls feel. It's just these crucial mistakes that leave such a bad taste in my mouth.

対戦アクション。
悪い薬のせいで犯罪が起こるような世の中で、犯罪組織に恋人を攫われた男とその友人が救出に向う。

ストーリーモードでは1vs1だけだが、他は1vs1或いは2vs2を選ぶ事になる。
行動は平面の移動とジャンプ、攻撃（普通とスペシャル）、掴み、投げ、ダッシュ、ガード。
攻撃される瞬間にダッシュで回避（すり抜け）、ガードで硬直が減る（様な気がする）。
Xbox360コントローラーが使えるので、その方が良いと思う。

普通に殴ったり、掴んで投げたりする以外に、ステージに落ちている物を持ち上げて投げつける事もできる。
寧ろ、それも有効に使って相手を怯ませたり、突き放したりする事も重要。
また、ゲージが溜まるとバケモノに変身して一時的に一方的に押し捲る事ができる。
当然敵も変身する。

日本語訳もされているし、普通に遊ぶ分には何の問題もない。

問題は日本語訳がおかしい事。
上記で「直前ガードで硬直が減るような気がする。」と書いたのはそのせい。
画面には「直前ガードで元気になる」と表示されているので本当に良く分からない。
敵に直前ガードされるとよく反撃されているのでそんな気がする。

でも大丈夫、この手のゲームは感覚でなんとかなる・・・多分。

主人公の男が誰かに似ている気がするけど気のせいか？

If you liked Powerstone, you MUST get this game. It feels like that game, crisp controls(I used my PS4 controller), nice graphcis, sound, animation, items and levels. I don't know how much content there is since I just started playing. However, the fun factor is 10/10 if you are a Powerstone fan. What a fun game to play!!!

It's a very fun party game with great visuals and an amazing soundtrack. I could jam to the main menu theme all day. The roster of playable characters as well as stages are limited however. The same could be said about the story mode. I'd love to see something a little more complex or perhaps a larger list of fighters. The premise and art are amazing and I'd love to see it be expanded upon.

3/5 A solid party game to just mess around with for a bit with friends. Buy it on sale.

Played the story mode of the white guy.

Its a nice story, but very short.
I needed 35 minutes to finish it.
I dont know if the other guy has anoter story?

The enemies keep throwing stuff at you, its kinda annoying.
On the other side i did have some fun.

Do i recommend this game?
For cheaps, yes. You will have some fun.

O veredito? Você gosta de Arena Brawlers? Compre. Multiplayer local? Compre, Jogos de luta? Compre. Power Stone? Compre.

Então, vamos começar com o ruim:

- Sem modo online. Eu pessoalmente não uso, mas isso vai prejudicar o jogo a longo prazo.
- Modo História é limitado a apenas dois personagens que têm os mesmos caminhos e final. Apenas duas cenas são diferentes.
- Até agora, não há o modo Todos contra Todos você está preso com 1 vs 1 ou 2 vs 2 apenas.
- Não há como selecionar 4 personagens iguais.
- Não há opções para ligar e desligar os perigos de cenário e itens.
- Opções de gráficos para um jogo de PC são muito escarças, e, às vezes, o jogo pode perder alguns frames por nenhuma razão aparente, mas nada grande, talvez apenas um pouco de otimização pode ajudar.
- Não há remapeamento de controle.
- A AI para determinados personagens não funcionam bem, alguns ficar presos usando um movimento (Acid) outros não usar certos movimentos quase nunca (Spice).

Agora, vamos para o que é bom!

- Arte é ótima! Personagens são muito bem animado, e alguns cenários são incrívelmente bem feitos.

- Música, dublagem e som são maravilhosos! As vozes combinam com os personagens, e eu realmente gostaria de ouvir mais deles, principalmente durante o modo história, mas foi provavelmente um problema de orçamento. Os efeitos sonoros são bastante eficazes, você sabe o que está acontecendo, e você pode sentir o impacto. A música funciona muito bem, com alguns bons e outros grandes temas. Muito bom.
- Gameplay é envolvente. Você tem ataques normais, ataques especiais únicos para cada personagem e também um sistema de esquiva e defesa muito interessante que premia a sua utilização inteligente, itens excusivos para cada cenário, fora que os riscos dos cenários são muito úteis, e precisam ser vistos com cautéla durante uma luta.
- Transformações são perigosas! Quando você vê as três drogas no cenário, você realmente quer precisa correr atrás de obtê-las, ou não deixar ninguém pegar, porque as transformações são realmente poderosas e podem facilmente mudar a batalha muito rápido.
- Combate frenético. Fique quieto e você é já era.

Conclusão: Uma tremenda surpresa, e extremamente positiva. Este é um grande título para fãs de jogos de luta ou para que quer bons jogos pra jogar com o pessoal em casa.

Lastfight is a 3d arena brawler/fighter. The game is very much inspired from Capcom’s Power Stone. It's a pretty fun game. The color schemes, graphics, dialog etc. will remind you of a 70’s flick. The story mode revolves around the good ol’ “rescue your girlfriend from the evil people” plot.

[b][u]Graphics: [/u][/b]

The game’s graphics look superb with a sort of cartoony look yet it’s a bit different. The characters and the environment have a clean look art-style to them. Like there is not much details on anything but everything looks so sharp and neat, almost like cel-shaded. I liked these graphics a lot. The game is a bit demanding, I had quite a few FPS drops during my gameplay but setting the graphics quality to high from Fantastic fixed those issues. So if you want to play the game at the best settings you better have a good PC, though there shouldn’t be any problem for lower end pc’s to play the game at low or even normal graphics presets.

[b][u]Sound: [/u][/b]

There’s plenty of sound tracks in the game and they’re very nice to hear as well. The music sounds like 70’s fast paced almost pop-like music. The character voices, and other sounds are pretty solid too.

[b][u]Gameplay: [/u][/b]

You can play local co-op or play the story mode. The story mode starts off with 2 characters. You get to play with either Duke or Richard. In between each fight there are cut scenes and some of the story unfolds. Both the characters’ story is same but some dialog/cut scene will vary depending on who you play with.

Other than story mode you can co-op with friends and play 2 vs. 2 matches which can be extremely fun. You can also play the versus mode with AI if you don’t have any friends hanging around and you feel like playing. The game is basically a very fun party game in versus mode. The controls are fully rebindable so you should have no problem setting up with friends.

The fighting mechanics are pretty simple. You can pick up and throw objects and they respawn so you can do it all over again. There are also power pickups and weapon pickups, e.g. you can pick up the Spartan (I think) helmet and it’ll transform you into Zeus and give you lightning attack for a short while. Pick up weapons like a rocket launcher which you can use to blast your opponent, boxing gloves etc. Picking up different power ups at the same time can also transform you into a much powerful character and you can wreak havoc.

You have a dash ability which you can use to dodge objects thrown at you. You also have a grab ability which you can either use on objects to pick up and throw at enemies or grab the enemy themselves and throw them. You can also block. When blocking, a bubble surrounds your character and the damage enemy does is blocked, timing it correctly can save you from a brutal punishment. Your character can also jump which is used on stages with multiple steps etc. There’s a total of 10 characters and 8 stages. Every character and stage have their own unique weapon/object pickups and abilities, though most characters feel very similar to each other in playstyle.

A really nice work, with good graphics, animations and soundtrack. I love the comic and there is original and complementary stuff in the game. The story mode is really short, it would have been great to have a Towerfall-like story mode with mobs. Look at it as an indie 4 multiplayer local game only.

Je recommande ! Je vais commencer cependant par enumerer ce qui m'a déplu :
-l'histoire se finit en 30min, 1heure si vous finissez le jeu avec les chaque perso du mode histoire, ce qui ne change rien dans les dialogues (énormes :D) entre les combats :(
-Le versus a deux sur un clavier est naze on se fait rétamer par les bots car les touches s'annulent si on appuie sur trop a la fois ( moins bien géré que dans towerfall ascension pour citer un exemple ).
-le peu de diversité des coups des persos de base, meme si ca induit un point fort du jeu : easy to play, hard to master !
-Pas de multi en ligne,
Voila enfin les points forts du jeu :D !

+Tu peux te faire rétamer par ta petite soeur !! Si si c'ets un point fort, comme ca elle voudra bien jouer avec toi vu que tu lui fera pas le gros coup de pied saute gros coup de pied accroupi moyen point gros pied shoryuken comme sur street fighter.
+La bande son (c'est subjectif) mais j'adooore.
+L'univers coloré de Lastman et l'humour ! On découvre la vie de Richard avant sa rencontre avec Adrien, et les nouveaux persos sont vraiment cools !
+toutes les touches reconfigurables !

Bought this game while some friends were over after watching the trailer and having flashback memories to Power Stone 1+2. Overall, the game is most fun with a group and after playing Story Mode a few times, I unfortunately don't see myself playing much more on my own without a group.

It's a pretty straight forward brawler with throwing items, blocking, dodging and super mode after collecting three gems.

There is story mode playable by either of the 2 main characters and multiplayer (1v1 or 2v2 with AI bots). There is no online play so it's most fun as local multiplayer.

+ Dodging and Blocking (perfect block recovers HP and pushback) allow for more skill based combat
+ Super form after collecting gems is specific to the level so nobody has a particular advantage
+ AI bots can be added if you don't have exactly 4 players

- No Online Play
- No FFA mode
- Maps are all square with minimal interaction and no progression / movement
- Some of the Super forms seemed easy to avoid or dodge and there's no meter showing long you have left in the form

I wish this was Power Stone 3 but to be fair it also didn't cost as much as Power Stone 1 or 2 so for the cost, it was worth the buy for me.

Tirée de la bande dessinée LastMan: ce jeu est un gros produit fan service.
Et c'est un bon produit made in France comme on en fait plus!
Le jeu s'adresse avant tout aux affamés de bagarr. Et surtout de bagarre en local.
Le truc où tu es avec des vrais gens, dans ton canapé, sur une chaise, les genoux de tonton Roger.
BREF! Jouer à plusieurs personnes sur le même écran: c'est possible (de nouveau): et ça fait du bien putain.
Les mécaniques restent ultra simpliste mais on en demande pas plus. Les modes restent assez limités. Dont un mode histoire très court mais en même temps: qui s'intéresse à une histoire dans un jeu de baston? Srsly??? Puis le mode Versus fait le coeur du jeu avec un roster et des maps variés. Mais on aurait aimé des options pouvant retiré les anitrans. Parce que la drogue c'est mal, m'voyez.
Au final: LASTFIGHT est un bon jeu à l'ancienne comme on en fait plus du tout: charmant, dynamique et original. C'est le powerstone-like tiré d'une excellente bande dessinée.

Lack of free for all mode in versus: brought over two friends and one of us always had to have an AI as a partner.
The map layouts are kinda stagnant, but that could just be me comparing it to Powerstone.
Also online multiplayer would really benefit this game.

Beyond those complaints it's a solid well polished game.

I never played power stone but I'm a big street fighter fan. I was a bit worried Last Fight could be kind of a "gadget fighting game" but I'm discovering a lot of depth to every character and a whole new way to kick my friends butts.
Even the single player story mode is fun and challenging.
Special kudos for retro arcade style and delirious props & combos.

If you loved Power Stone 1&2 then this is for you.

Same premise: 1vs1 or 2vs2 fighting in an open 3D arena, with lots of items & weapons to throw or use against your opponent, if you grab 3 unique power ups, you turn into a monstrousbeast that can perform special attacks and deal much more damage.

Pros:

- tight controls, it feels really good
- great amount of items & weapons
- great visuals, cool art style & music
- balanced difficulty
- 4 player local co-op support

Cons:
- No branching / choosing key levels
- No real boss fights
- Arenas are static, they don't change throughout the fight, unlike in Power Stone. There are small touches of interactivity but nothing like the game that inspired LastFight.

Overall, is a really good game, absolutely worth its price. But if you are expecting it to be better than PowerStone, it's not. But it's freaking excellent anyways.

This is actually a better Power Stone Love Letter Than I initially thought.

While I wasn't a fan of the characters or the inital art design, the gameplay is a solid nod to the original Dreamcast party fighter. The addition of a dash and block are good but I hardly used them since I'm coming from the school of Power Stone where those things were an illusion. Controls feel ok but a tad loose. I can't explain it only that it doesn't have the snap of Capcom's aforementioned fighter. Also you're essentially doing what you did in Power Stone, collecting three maguffins to become a super being and reigning down pain on your opponent. Kinda wished I knew that going in. Also regardless of who you are you can only tranform into four monsters from what I can tell. They have interesting powers and they definitely turn the tide of battle which to some extent helps with balancing but the uniqueness of the characters doesn't get a chance to shine through.

Also the UI is missing some things for the sake of simplicity I wish would just get added instead. The Stone Counter and Radar I wish was present so it's a tad more obvious who has what stones and where they are on the maps. Items aren't nearly as diverse as Power Stone's Gallery but there are some interesting ones ala missles, boxing gloves and a helmet that gives you Zeus' Lightning. However, they're also stage specific. The stages themselves are an ok romp. Some are simple stages and some up the ante with hazzards that make you think of Power Stone 2 but you're still relagated to one arena.

The story was both good and bad. It's good in the sense that it doesn't take itself too seriously and is actually pretty funny. There's story transitions that last under a 40 seconds per fight so it's really quick but there are only two character campaigns in a roster of 10 characters. That's kinda sad man... Also the story has a very spotty anti drug message that seems to get lost in the fact that you win fights by taking the very same drugs you're mad at everyone else for taking.

Also, I kinda wish there was a tutorial. The game is simple enough to jump in and go ham but the AI starts doing some high level business that you kinda wish you could pull off.

All and all, this is a solid effort but it does need a tad more in the area of content for my liking. It's essentially a party game but I'd like to see the developers make more with it. I'm not sure it's done enough with the license to make me start going after LASTMAN as a series to follow and I do wish there was more content on display.

I will say that getting it for it's $13 price is decent if you can part with that much for a bare bones brawler, especally if you're itching for a Power Stone fix. Otherwise, wait for a sale that takes a tad more off the top. If you can get it for $12 or less I can definitely recommend. The game is good but it shows potential to be better.

Grand fan de la BD depuis le début, Lastfight est un jeu de baston bien sympa avec l'ambiance un peu retro que se soit les musiques les génériques, et les combats assé nerveux, on est a fond dans chaque rond, et des graphismes lisse qui retranscrivent assé bien le style de dessin de la BL. Le jeux vaut largement ses 14 €.

j'avais vu un reportage sur l'équipe de dev il y a quelque mois heureux de le trouver sur steam aujourd'hui !
Jeu de combat et de plateformes jouable à 4, basé sur la bande dessinée Lastman de Bastien Vivès, Michael Sanlaville et Yves Bigerelet oui un jeu bien Français et trés bon !
fun a mort on se jette des canapés, placards, tv, poissons chinois tout en récuperant des bonus qui tombent gants de boxe et bien d'autres bref un petit prix pour un trés bon jeu bourré d humour bien frenchy.

graphisme : nickel (coloré et sympa)
animation : nikel (no lag)
maniabilité : nickel (xbox one)
note 10/10 chauvin moi ..... jamais !

Après une attente encore plus longue qu'un tome de Lastman, les fans peuvent enfin joueur leur playboy préféré. Mais alors à quoi doit-on s'attendre avec ce jeu? Beaucoup, beaucoup de swegg.

Que ce soit par son scénario brillant digne d'un Hitchcock:
"Désolé mec il faisait trop sombre"
"Désolé mec j'avais du sable dans les yeux"
"Désolé mec je me suis paumé dans l'immeuble"

Des répliques cinglantes:
"Comment ça il est pas frais mon poisson?"

Un character design digne du Grand Vivès, et malgré le fait que l'on ne retrouve que 2 personnages sur 10 issus de l'oeuvre original les autres n'ont aucun problème à s'intégrer.

Le jeu est donc coloré et très sympa à regarder. Pour ce qui est du gameplay on est à mi-chemin entre Smash Bros et Tekken et putain c'est bon! Le jeu est sans prise de tête sur vos combo et le décor sera en fait votre première arme (quelques équilibrages à faire d'ailleurs de ce côté). On a donc du lourd en attendant la sortie du prochaine tome, alors qu'est ce que tu attends pour l'acheter galopin?

So far I really like the game. It has a lot going for it, mostly I crave for a game similar to Powerstone. A really amazing art style and diverse cast. I kind of wish there was a bit more variation in dropped weapons and maybe larger levels to roam around, plus more unlockable things. It is a bit tough going back for more knowing that there is no online multiplayer for now since it really is a game to be enjoyed with others (there is local multiplayer but most of my friends are online), though here is hoping it is included later down the road.

I still have to say I am in love with the design.

Developed by French based developers Piranaking and based on also French comic book Lastman Last Fight is essentially the Power Stone game we have been waiting for Capcom to make for the last 16 years.

Back in the days of the Dreamcast the original Powerstone was one of my favourite games. It was different to pretty much all other fighting games at the time and was an absolute blast to play. The sequel inventively names Power Stone 2 added an extra 2 players and actually in my mind was not quite as good but overall I have been aching for a threequel for a good decade and a half.

Well Capcom aren't going to give me what I wanted but alas Last Fight seems like it is going to give it a damn good go. The game sees you in an arena with full movement and the ability to pick up and use weapons as well as fight. As Powerstone power-ups appear that when all connected transform you into a stronger special character that generally leads to you destroying you opponent.

The story mode follows Duke Diamonds or Richard Aldana in a mission to save Richard’s girlfriend who have been kidnapped by a secret organisation amongst an epidemic of drug crazed rioting. Its pretty silly but fits the theme of the game well.

The cast of 10 characters features a nice wide range of characters from aliens, to hobos, to goat faced businessmen but generally playing as them is pretty similar and there is not a massive diverse range of abilities. There are 4 different transformations to experience and these radically alter the style of play and are all pretty different. Some are better than others but all were fun to be and were always a key part of winning a fight.

There are a number of different weapons to also pickup most of which are simply used to throw at your opponent but there are a few things such as rocket launchers that add depth to the gameplay. One of the biggest gripes I have with the game however is that there is just not enough in the way of difference amongst the stages with most being square arenas not filled with an awful lot. Powerstone had a lot more things to interactive (or at least I remember it having) and the game could definitely do with a few more things to play with in the stages.

The game however is great fun especially when played with friends. Currently there is only local multiplayer available which is a shame and as is the case with most indie games there probably never will be online multiplayer but if there ever was a case for using Nvidia’s screen share feature this is definitely a good one.

I have generally enjoyed playing LASTFIGHT and it evokes a lot of fond memories of Powerstone. Sure it’s not perfect but it’s a fun game that is worth playing for all fight fans and fans of Capcom’s aforementioned Dreamcast Brawler as its probably the best you are going to get and at £10 you really can't go wrong.
