The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an open-world action-adventure video game based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and the 2014 film of the same name. Two years after the death of Ben Parker, Peter Parker his nephew gains special spider-like powers to become Spider-man. But now with the rise of enemies like Harry Osborn, kingpin, And the Russian Mob, Spider-man is in one of his biggest battles yet. However, he is not the only one hunting villains.

Took me a good hour to get working. Have to play in windowed mode to play at 1920 by 1080. Suit texture looks like ♥♥♥♥. If you can get past all this and actually play the game, you'll probably enjoy it for a solid 2 hours. I'd say get the first one, but that took me just as long to get working too. Sad thing is I'm still gonna play both. Ye have been warned.

Okay i am a BIG fan of the web head,
and this game have a lot of good points, like:

+Good history (Its not fantastic or spetacular, but is good and fun to play)
+Awesome combat (Really works great and is easy to play)
+Web Swing (Its real AMAZING, they really make a good job on that part)
+Side missions (Are fun to play and the game have good diversity of missions)

The amazing spider-man 2 Its the best game EVER made of spider-man!
(Yes i played Web of Shadows, ultimate spider-man and spider man 2, but this is really better!)

The fire rescue side-missions, are one of the worst side-missions I have ever played. I know that the developers can't fix it, but in the future they should increase the time you have to rescue all those people.

Проходил игру 2 раза, пару лет назад на приставке и теперь на компьютере.

Honestly, I don't understand the hate behind this. It's still Spider-Man, right? I love Spider-Man! He's my favorite super hero. This game is on a bit of the 'short games' side, but it's still a blast. They put in a lot to do in the 'after-game', too. This game does have a few questionable camera angles, too, but it's still Spider-Man. Not as good as the first game, but almost equally good. 8/10!

For a game released in 2014, the graphic quality is really bad compared to other AAA titles. The story writing and voice acting is mediocre and the duration of the story clocking around 8 hours mark (not including completing repetitive side-missions). The combat is fluid enough although the basic movement kind of clunky. The level design is bad and boring, but the city itself is really fun to explore swinging from building to building while in free roam between missions. It's a fun game to play if you're a fan of Spider-Man, but if not, then there's other games with better quality worthy of your time.

+Завезли систему прокачки костюмов. Есть один, ты его прокачал и можешь взять и прокачивать другой. Интересная система.
+Паук теперь еще зрелищнее дерется. Прыгает, сальто крутит только так.
+Злодеи стали более харизматичней.
+Красивые костюмы.
Из минусов:
-Цена(лучше купить где-нибудь на сайте рублей за 200)
-Сюжет(как такового нет). Просто побеждаешь нескольких врагов паука и все. В первой части какой некакой, но сюжет был

First off I am a huge Spidey fan.
Naturally I saw the game on sale and bought it in a heartbeat without reading a review like the one you are now reading (good boy/girl).

Its starts off with a completely pointless 'direct from the movie' setup and bad animation, cheesy dialogue and instead of feeling like a natural world, you feel like you are on a wierd version of the truman show where everything has been set up around you.

You then start as Spider-man iconically standing on the side of a building ready to swing down and web-sling the hell out of the city only to find that the controls suck and a great experience has been reduced to a buggy, cumbersome task to explore the blandly textured world.

So I get to the first part to kick some ass! This will be the saving grace right?? WRONG
If you've been spoilt by all the Arkham games, the fighting system in this game is garbage.

It looks like very little thought was put into the actual fighting animations and the impacts feel disconnected.
It kinda makes me think about a scene in a 90's low budget sci-fi movie where actors need to punch air in front of a green screen and then they add the monster later.

So my conclusion is - If you want a superhero game with a great story, fantastic visuals and a fighting system that ultimately leaves you satisfied after each fight. Go buy an arkham game.

If you want a decent Spidey game(Like me) - Wait for Insomniac

its fun, input response is splendid, only speedies are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, they blink around while still letting you web em but it does nothin, made black cat quite hard to fight in any other way then counters, also ability to collect comic book pages and unlock readable comic books is a very nice touch for people that like their lore, do reccomend keyboard, or using LB when they camera gets off target alot it makes it such a pain to play all n all took not even 2 full days to finish. also strongly do not reccomend buying the dlc suits cuz in game unlockable suits are way prettier and free, defenitly a 8/10

PS. wisest to buy it on discount i can easily imagine buying this at full price could, to many, be dissapointing.

I found the game to be pretty straight forward, neither good or bad. I didn't find it good enough to finish though. The side missions designed to keep your alert level up forces you to repeat side missions, to lower your "wanted" level to stay heroic. The story is somewhat okey but I am not into story in general so it wasn't what I was focusing on. The flying around with the web through building is pretty fun, the fighting is okey but not on the same level as Batman in my opinion. The progression of abilities is decent and unlocks fairly quickly. The diversity of spider suits allows to change the bonus to match your playstyle a bit. The game itself isn't bad but I am deleting it as I don't think it needs to be "open world" as the "open world" offers very little.

The personality of spider man is there, as a character and the remarks he makes are entertaining but not at the same level as deadpool, then again deadpool is a different character. The game offers stealth gameplay like in batman, the added bonus being you can climb on walls and instantly jump from spot to spot, faster than in batman games.

So the game itself isn't bad at all but for some reason it fell short in my book. I am also playing deadpool and I am quite enjoying it. I think the disadvantage in The amazing spider man 2 is simply the big city which is its strength, it is also its weakness.

Other then that, I might have felt like playing it if it had something more new up its sleave than just leaning on the fact that its spider man, its fun to web around and all that.

I also did find the lack of enemy npc model to be obvious and identical, the animation and timing was bad in my opinion as it didn't match the voice half of the time. Unlike in Deadpool where the character animation and voice matches the personality more.

I think you should still play it though. I just don't found it unique enough.

♥♥♥♥♥, это насколько надо быть бешаными г*вн*давами, что бы сделать вторую часть, хуже первой по всем, ♥♥♥♥♥, параметрам, что бы на этот кусок говна ставить ценник в 1200 рублей? В меню маргают какие то ♥♥♥♥♥ чёрные квадраты, игра иногда зависает при выборе "да" или "нет", мышка переодически, какого то ♥♥♥ не хочет, ♥♥♥♥♥, поворачиваться в левую сторону и тебе приходиться наяривать круги в правую сторону из раза в раз, и самое охуенное что могли сделать разрабы этого куска говна - это криво запихать уже, ♥♥♥♥, сделаную боевую систему из Бэтмана. Понимаете ♥♥♥♥♥, сделаную, ♥♥♥♥, сделаную боевую систему из другой игры. Про проблемы с логикой и графон я даже говорить не буду. Я надеюсь, у людей, которые делали эту игру на ПК (не знаю как там обстаят дела на консолях) отвалятся пальцы, что бы они больше никогда не прикасались к играм.
Единственный плюс этой игры - костюмы. Единственное, что у них получилось хорошо.

Игра очень интересна своим гейплэем, тут более-менее простое управление. Иногда бывают лаги или баги, и преходится презайти. В целом игра имеет сюжет, который наполнен дополнительными заданими, если их все упевать выполнять то тогда тебе будет легче играть. После выпонения дополнительного задания вы получите притный бонус в виде новостей из дэйли бьюгол. P.S. дэйли бьюгол это название газеты (новостей) в которой работает Питер Паркер, который явлетс человеком пауком. (Вернёмс к теме) Но если вы провалите задания то и на дэйли бьюгол это отобразится

Un juego lleno de pantallas de carga,publicidad engañosa,la historia tiene muchos fallos argumentales,la ciudad se siente vacia,el modo de reputacion es aburrido y tedioso,sistema de balanceo muy incomodo y para colmo es un juego que para el precio que tiene en dificultad super heroe te lo acabas antes de las 8 horas,sin duda alguna prefiero el 1 antes que a este aunque el uno no es perfecto debo aclarar

It had potential.

The game is OK I guess ,but I finished the main missions in 6 hours and it is laggy.

The story is also a bit boring. I recommend this only to spiderman fans.

I pre-ordered the game when I saw the trailer showed Black Cat, and Electro, and Kingpin. I thought "finally, a spidey game using some of the badass iconic villains in the comics!" If you're a hopeless spidey fan like me, still don't buy this trash. It had mediocre gameplay at best, an all too short storyline (I've beaten it three times, then got 100% completion with all suits unlocked) and god awful voice acting. Just downright cringe worthy. This game isn't worth anything. Don't buy it. If you really want to swing webs around New York, download an emulator for Spider-Man 2 on PS2.

Bir şeyin fanboyu olmak genelde sizin gözünüzü kör eder, kötü şeyleri iyiymiş gibi görürsünüz ve bundan da mutluluk duyarsınız. Benim de bu oyunda hissettiğim şeyler aşağı yukarı böyleydi. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 bunu bana tekrar göstererek ne kadar rezil bir iş olduğunu daha iyi anlamamı sağladı. Üzülsem mi sevinsem mi bilemedim. Yavaş yavaş oyuna geçelim bakalım.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 tabii ki filmin de rüzgarıyla satması planlanan bir ürün. Bunu ilk çıktığında da biliyorduk, şimdi de biliyoruz. Ama ben o zamanlar bunu görmezden gelmek istemiştim. Çünkü o kadar uzun zamandır yeni bir Spider-Man oyunu çıkmıyordu ki çıkan ilk ürüne atlamak istedim ve atladım. Ne oldu? İlk defa oynarken aralıksız 6 saat oynayarak bitirdim. Ve mutlu ayrıldım, gerçekten. Filmden de gördüğümüz ve sevdiğimiz karakterler bunun yanında çizgi romandan da bildiğimiz karakterlerin oyunda yer alması tam bir aşk mektubuydu Spider-Man severlere. Ama tabii ki bu da bitti. Önce Sony TASM markasının fişini çekti ve ona ait ürünler de pazarlardan yavaş yavaş kalktı, aynı bu oyun gibi. Ama ben oyuna olan ilgimi ve sevgimi kaybedemiyordum. Taa ki 4 saatlik oyunda 130 saatimi devirmiş ve son achievement'ımın peşinde koşana kadar. İşte o an tüm o büyü bozuldu. Bakalım beni bu kadar oyunda tutan senaryo neymiş:

Hikayemizin başlangıcı [spoiler]ilk TASM filmine dayanıyor. Yapımcı ilk oyundaki senaryo akışını fazla orijinal bulmuş olacak ki tercihini tamamen filmlerden yana kullanmış. Ve tabii ki Ben Amcanın ölümüyle oyun başlıyor ve kontroller Ben Amcanın ölümünden bir yıl sonraki zaman diliminde bize veriliyor. Oyun ilerledikçe tabii ki ''dünyayı tehlikeye atacak'' olan bir villian olan Carnage çıkıyor ve oyun onu yenmemizle de bitiyor. Fark ettiyseniz yukarıda dediğim farklı karakterlerden hiç bahsetmedim. Çünkü bahsetmeye bile değmezler. Sadece fan service olarak koyulmaları bir yana eğlenceli boss savaşları bile sunamıyorlar. çünkü hepsi gereksiz amelelik görevleri üzerine kurulu. Tüm boss savaşları Arkham Knight'ın son bossu gibi desem çoğu insan anlar herhalde. Yan görevler ise tek kelimeyle berbat. Aynı ara sahneyi gazilyon defa izlemeyi seven mazoşistleri bile iğrendirecek cinsten.[/spoiler]

Hikayenin pek iç açıcı olmadığı ortada. Bir de oynanışa bakalım. Oynanış olarak oyun zamanının en akıcı Spider-Man oyunuydu evet ama bu onu iyi yaptığı anlamına gelmiyor. Evet ilk oyundan çok daha güzel ama vuruş hissi gerçekten kötü. Zaten oyun boyunca aynı düşmanlarla savaştığınız için tempo da değişmiyor. Hadi haklarını yemeyelim Bu oyun sadece şok dalgasıyla yenilen bir düşman çeşidi koyuşlar ki hiçbir anlamı ve hiçbir farklılığı yok. Kamera açısının ilk oyundan daha uzak bir yere yerleştirilmiş olması en azından oyunu daha çekilebilir kılıyor, çok göze batmıyor.

Grafikler ve optimizasyon zaten bu oyun ile ilgili konuşmak istediğim son şey. Grafikler PS3'ün erken versiyonundaki oyunlarla yarışır. Optimizasyon zaten yok. Oyunu akıcı oynamak için grafik sekmesinde bolca vakit geçireceğinizden emin olabilirsiniz

Sonuç olarak bu oyun en büyük hayal kırıklıklarında biri benim için. Gerek senaryo, gerek oynanış gerekse grafik bazında senesinin çok gerisinde. Oyuncuya zevk verecek mekanikleri de zaten düzgün çalışmıyor. Spider-Man oyunu olduğu için son bir kez fanboyluk yapıp bu kadar vakit geçirdim ve tabii ki size de tavsiye etmiyorum. Aa! zaten alamassınız Steam'den. Neyse Gaben ağabeyimiz bize iyilik yapmış diyelim.[/b]

Peor que el 1 y mira que puso el listón bien bajo. Lo único que han mejorado es el sistema de balanceo, que ya no es tan automático como en el anterior, pero todo lo demás...

If you own this game and are having Framerate issue, turn off the Verticle Sync option. Frame Rate should go back to 60FPS. Graphics is not great and should not take a huge toll on your system but with VSYNC off, screen might tear once a while.

Spider-man is designed well in this game. Movement and acrobatic is lively. The character will comment some quirky quotes time to time. Funny at first but repetitive after a while. Dialogue wasn't well written so does the story telling in the game. Everything is straight to the point. The opening story is playable. Looks really good at first but its really short and ends abrubtly.

Controls are a little but awkward specially when you try to swing, wall run or web rush. On stealth, when you try to rappel (says on screen), you will drop down instead causing enemies to be alerted.

Not much depth in the gameplay. There's an skill upgrade but its more like sprinkle on ice-cream to give you a little bit progressive feeling as it makes your character stronger. Fighting is button mashing and timing.

But above all that, the biggest turn off is the Hero and Menace system. When the bar was introduced, it will tilt towards Heroic side when you succeee in menial random events in the city like taking out thugs, rescuing hostage and fire victim. These events randomly appear and if you decide not to help out it will tilt towards Menace side. Bar is short and it wil fill up or drop pretty quickly. After the following mission that introduces random event, neutral forces began to spawn in the game and will go against you if your bar is on the Menace side. You need to keep participating in this random and repetitive event that will play an unskipable scene before and loading news scene (skippable but need to wait a bit) after.

This is really annoying because you would want to explore the city to search for collectibles. I collected 85% of these items before the random events takes place. Progress with the mission and I simply cannot find the patient to search for the remaining 15% because the random events are simply too much.

That said, I only reached 17% of the overall game content. I read that the random events will stick around even you have completed the game to give a purpose so to say.

The DLCs gives you the option to play in different suit where each suit has its own traits and can be leveled up as you gain experience playing. This will give you certain edge against different bosses. Personally I think it should not be sold separately.

Если с первой частью я сразу определился ставить да или нет, то тут дела обстоят несколько сложнее.Сразу скажу про самую слабую часть игры - Сюжет.Он переиначивает события фильма про паука номер 2.И если вам казалось что в фильме много начавшихся и;незаконченных,быстро кончившихся и просто бессысленных линий.Тут над сюжетом провернули адовые изменения.Запихнули и линию с убийством дядьки Бенна, моральные проблемы паука сажать или убивать преступников, линия любви скошкой, линия с кингпином и много, много и ещё1 офигеть как много ненужных линий.
Но что же с геймплеем, да они сделали город более забитым заданиями.НО - теперь их выполнение привязали к силе человека паука......ПРИВЯЗАЛИ К СИЛЕ....что ♥♥♥♥♥!!!!??? Как вообще связано то что паук спас дебила залезшего под поезд и его живучесть?
Но ладно что с заданиями-то?Их всего несколько видов.3 вида спастения, драка,перестрелка и вообщем то всё.И всё бы ничего но!!После задания нам показывают сначала секунд 10 непропускаемой заставки, а потом ещё заставку секунд 15 но которую можно пропустить.И это очень портит темп игры, в отличии от первой части где всё это было без таких уж явных швов.
Единственное что вытягивает игру из совсем уж днищща, это путешествие и боёвка.Их ощутимо подкрутили.Так-же можно сказать и о картинке, она на порядок красивее.
Если судить о ней как и о тервой части.
Человеку не знакомому с пауком игра будет на 4-5 максимум из 10.
Любителю паука 6-7 из 10.

*Framerate lag issue is the most that worries me alot, even other Spider-Man games on PC (Ultimate, 3, Web of Shadows, Shattered Dimensions & the first TASM), especially Lego Games (originally fine as i played MSH & Movie. Vous achetez le jeux, vous modifier les graphisme en fonction de votre configuration et quand vous lancez le jeux... plus rien! Un écran noir avec votre souris. Je veux bien mais j'arrive ni a tisser des toiles ni a me balader dans New-york avec ça. Alors vous ne perdez pas espoir, vous faites vos recherches pour trouver solution à votre problème. C'est la que vous vous rendez compte que la plupart des joueurs qui ont des problèmes ont tous des problèmes différent du votre. Alors vous essayez de le régler par vous même vous faites des modifications par ci par la vous vous passez d'option que votre pc n'aurait aucun mal a supporter pour finir par reussir à lancer le jeux! Enfin vous vous dites! Donc premier lancement, a peine le temps de faire l'intro parce qu'avec tout ça il est déja bien tard. Second lancement du jeux, pas d'écran noir, pas de soucis vous vous dites. Ben non! le jeux est maintenant à 14 FPS super la jouabilité! Je renonce donc. L'intro du jeux ne me suffira pas à vous donner un avis dessus. Déçu, je n'ai même pas su enfiler le costume juste le temps de voir l'oncle mourir (désolé pour ceux qui ne savaient pas)

I don't understand all the fuss. This game played like a gem on my computer with a PS3 controller. I love Shattered Dimensions and Web of Shadows to death, but this game right here had the best combination of graphics/combat animations/feel of web swinging that any Spidey game has had to date.

The ending was meh. In this day and age, crap endings are something I've learned to expect being a child of the 80's.

If you can get over a meh ending and you're a fan of Spider-Man comics/games/experiences, grab this. ESPECIALLY if it's on sale. I paid full price and I don't regret a cent.

he Amazing spider 2, fan du comic, j’ai pas pu résister aux jeux (oui j’ai fait aussi le 1) et le moins que l’on puisse dire, est que je regrette mon achat. ,
Coté graphique, pas d’évolution en comparaison aux 1. Certes plus beau car, je le tournais en 4k mais pas trop différent. Il faut tout de même signaler l’optimisation plutôt réussie de cet opus.
Le game play est une honte, comme pour le 1 est d’une facilité pour gamin, oui l’on se contente d’appuyer sur une touche et le mec fait tout seul. Si les déplacements du Héros sont un pur bonheur, la répétitivité du game play ainsi que la non variation des ennemis, n’aident pas vraiment.
L’histoire n’est pas au top mais, c’est un plaisir de voir certains Boss de la saga.
Niveau duré de vie, une honte. Comment vendre ce jeu aussi cher ? Activision sérieux. à peine 7 h , non ne me dites pas qu’ il y a des quêtes secondaire, ils sont tous identiques : pas d’écriture, personnage identiques, même scenario encore et encore .
Brefs jeu à prendre aux plus bas prix possible et je ne le conseille pas vraiment, car comme souvent avec Activision, on sent un jeu bâclé.

The optimization is terrible. Absolutely terrible. For those of you who have Prototype 2 for the PC, this game is optimized almost as badly as that. At the very least, Prototype 2 had decent graphics for its time. But this game doesn't even have that! The game looks as if it was made in 2007! So there's absolutely no excuse for its terrible performance.

If you MUST play The Amazing Spider-Man 2, buy it for a console. But you know what? Don't bother, because the first Amazing Spider-Man is the better game anyway (and runs much better). So get that one, YOU LITTLE FURBALL!

Hell, just go with Spider-Man: Shattered Dimension and don't bother with either of The Amazing Spider-Man games. You'll be glad you did.

I've already written a review for the first one. This one was just better.

My only real complaints are that: [spoiler]the green goblin fight was done lazily and it was a bit underwhelming. But it's okay. Since spider hunters make a return from the first game, so it is still possible to have astonishing aerial dogfights. And Elektro wasn't too bad neither. Oh and, another disappointment, need more black cat in this game, lol sadface.[/spoiler]

Some major evils from spiderman, like Wilson Fisk does make an appearance in the game, so it's pretty cool.

Some gameplay mechanics have a little bit of expansion from the first game, so it feels like it is something more than the previous game.

Oh and, you can literally read your collected comic books in game. And many many more cool things.

Btw, if you are having troubles rappeling from a ceiling, go to the keymappings before opening the game, and change your bindings from there.

And if you have problems about game crashing on startup in fullscreen mode, just start it in windowed mode, and then press alt+enter. Excelsior.

На данный момент, единственная игра про паука с такой хорошей графикой. Более она ничем не отличается.
Плюсы:
+Боевая система, спи... позаимственная из серии игр Batman: Arkham.
+Множество костюмов, которые можно разблокировать не вложив денюжку в игру, хотя и таковые имеются.
+Почти весь состав Зловещей Шестерки в качестве боссов.
+Система улучшений.
Минусы:
-Все еще ужасно сделаны полеты на паутине, зачастую могу зацепиться за небо и полететь выше здания Оскорп.
-Неадекватный ИИ врагов.
-Баги с освещением, иногда весь город погружается в тень.
-Легко пройти даже на самой большой сложности.
Итог - 7 паутин из 10.

С большой силой приходит большая ответственность...

Спустя 2 года после смерти дяди паучку почти удаётся поквитаться с убийцей дяди, но появляется еще более кровожадный убийца и мочит подонка. Всё это на фоне бесконечного противостояния уличных банд, непонятно откуда взявшихся русских бандитов и спецотрядов силовиков Оскорп - месиво предстоит еще то. Увидим мы и персонажей из фильма - коллега и суперэлектрик Макс, Гарри Осборн со своей идиотской челкой ну и парочку мелких ганстеров вроде Фелиции и прочих злодеев, на которых всем насрать.

На мой вкус, сюжетка второй части явно уступает первому эмэйзинг спудимену во всём - в роликах, персонажах, качестве проработки кампании. Но пройти её все еще можно, получая удовольствие - мне понравилось что нашлось место и для Питера Паркера без маски - правда он в основном ходит, болтает и иногда фоткает, но эти моменты очень хороши для атмосферы супергеройства. В кампании мне как в и первой части игры, очень понравились катсцены - они интересные и наполнены смешными диалогами и вообщем-то по большому счету их вывозит один только спуди мен, как и всю игру. В некоторых местах даже есть возможность поговорить с персонажами, выбрать разные темы для разговора - нелинейностью тут и не пахнет, но типа разнообразие.

Кстати, о юморе - хоть персонаж Тоби Макгвайра и был более душевным, но вот в чем нельзя отказать новому пауку - так это в юморе. И в фильме, и в игре он дерзкий, наглый и остроумный - в противовес скромному Тоби. Во время катсцен паучок постоянно отжигает и веселит. Отлично смотрится спайдермен и после постоянной игры в крутого, но иногда слишком супер сурьезного Бетмена. Вообще, мне очень нравится атмосфера нового человека паука в играх и фильмах - такой классный крутой добрый герой, всем помогает, со всеми дружит и постоянно отпускает едкие шуточки про бандитов, которых обезвреживает буквально одной левой по три штуки за раз. Да, это больше похоже на сказку, но именно такая сказка мне и нужна.

Уровни кампании - это типичные для спуди места, вроде зданий оскорп, подвалов, заводов, канализаций и прочей малоинтересной чепухи. Заниматься мы там будем в основном тем же самым - драки, стелс и КТЕ. Стелс остался почти таким же, только теперь спуди не просто сваливается с потолка на голову врагов, а красиво и тонко спускается на нити - выглядит очень эффектно и красиво. Боевая система всё такая же двухкнопочная, плюс стрельба паутиной - мне показалось, что она стала менее зрелищной, хотя возможно я придираюсь. Моя девушка Наташа вот считает, что спуди дерется гораздо круче и бодрее бетмена, и поиграв десяток часов, я с ней пожалуй соглашусь.

Прошли кампанию? Время заняться дополнительными заданиями, которые в паучке не хуже кампании, а в плане атмосферы супергеройства возможно даже и получше будет. Открываем карту, выбираем задание по вкусу и полетели - кстати про полетели, разаботчикам пришла в голову идея, что зажать один курок и переть напролом как в первой части это не разу не круто - теперь спуди может выпускать паутину из каждой руки посредством левого или правого курка, так и мало того эту паутину еще нужно куда то прихерачить - то бишь если вы летите высоко или над водой или над парком, то хрен вы уже полетите. Есть мнение что так это дело выглядит реалистичней, хотя как ваще может выглядеть реалистично мужик в трико, выпускающий подозрительную белую субстанцию из рук?

Задания теже - драки, погони, перестрелки. Хотя есть и некоторые фишки - допустим режим фотоохоты обосрали по полной. Вспомните, какие интересные были задания в первой части, игроку давали лишь общие подсказки, а вам уже самому приходилось находить объекты для фото. Здесь тупо - приходишь на место, фотографируешь либо какие то стремные доказательства, либо место преступления, причем одни и теже объекты повторяються по многу раз. Уныло, очень уныло и обидно. Правда правда, есть таки свет в конце туннеля - позже сам главред Джеймисон, мистер Свиное Рыло, даст геймеру десяток неплохих фотозаданий. Ну хоть чтото.

Второй спуди - это как первый спуди, только второй. Всё тоже самое, только немножечко хуже. Особенно радует, что кампания и открытый мир с побочными заданиями - это две равнозначно интересные части игры. Лично я, как уже говорил, просто люблю атмосферу нового паука, мне нравится спасать людей и нравится сам персонаж - веселый и юморной. Так что если любите паучка и хотите стать супергероем - милости прошу.

[h1] The Amazing Spider-Man 2 [/h1] is the follow-up to the first game and somehow ties into 2014’s movie of the same name. The extremely short length might be the only saving grace for this game, as it is considered a mercy. I had already heard about the negativity surrounding the game, but I guess that I had to experience the game myself to make sure. I think this is the first time I post a review with a big red dislike button hovering over it, but I felt that I had to.
[b] TL;DR version at the bottom of the review. [/b]

[b] STORY: [/b] Well, there isn’t much of a story as the game just jumps around villains and story arcs that are never finished, leaving the player asking “what the hell just happened?” many, many times. The story picks up after the events of the first game and at the start of TASM2 movie with Peter struggling to juggle his life as Spider-Man and Peter. This premise is nothing new, but when done well, can create truly great Spider-Man stories. Gwen is almost never mentioned! She could have had a major role in the story of Peter’s struggles, but sadly, the game sets up this premise without really exploring it. All I saw was untapped potential at a decent story.

On the Spidey side of things, our favorite web-slinger fights a multitude of villains including Kraven the Hunter, Kingpin, Black Cat, Electro, and a shoehorned Carnage. All villains feel like filler and underdeveloped except for Kraven. The story jumps around fighting these villains (usually once) without any context. One of my major gripes with the story is the inclusion of Carnage who was shoehorned for fan service, but as a huge fan, it actually angered me to a certain level. Also, how could Carnage exist without Venom?!

[b] GAMEPLAY: [/b] Spidey’s webs now attach to buildings instead of just shooting up in the sky which forces the players to stick close to the ground as the buildings are really short. In a Spider-Man game first, web slinging is now mapped to Spidey’s left and right hands, meaning that each hand is mapped to a button (LT/L2 and RT/R2 on controllers) and this system creates a sense of speed and momentum when it works, but it was mostly broken in my experience.

Most of the 12 story missions shared the same structure, go to place X (usually Oscorp), beat up the goons, save the civilian and finally, fight the boss. The boss battles felt like reskins as all of them shared the same strategy and level design which is to keep mashing the attack button until the health meter goes down; zero variety and minimal strategy or thinking.

As for combat, combat is akin to Arkham games but is extremely limited with little to no variety. Spidey kicks and punches with one button and counters with another. Enemies are basically punching bags that sometimes just won’t go down. Combat was mostly a bore and I avoided it whenever possible. There were also several stealth sections that break up the action. These sections were similar to the noir levels in Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions but are extremely dumbed down with only 2-3 animations on repeat.

Aside from the main story missions, there are several side missions to increase Spidey’s heroism stat and a bunch of collectibles. These side missions consist of taking pictures for the Daily Bugle, beating up thugs, and saving civilians from fires. I avoided the gang missions because how boring combat was in the first place.

It is important to note that the game is extremely short, having finished the game in one sitting at around 4 hours of gameplay time (including cutscenes).

[b] GRAPHICS: [/b] With a lifeless city, muddy textures, limited enemy design variations, horrible drawing distance, and dated character models, the game is without a doubt, ugly. Both TASM1 (2012) and Shattered Dimensions (2010) look better than this game and I have no idea how. The game is also marred by performance issues as I had frame dips to as low as 25FPS on a rig that can run graphically demanding games such as The Witcher 3 at max settings at around 120FPS. On the bright side, Spidey’s model, costumes, and animations look fantastic and fun to look at.

[b] AUDIO: [/b] The laughable script is only worsened by the lifeless voice acting. Music is nothing memorable as I honestly cannot remember any single musical piece, and I played the entire game in a single sitting.

Overall, I really tried to like TASM2 as I thoroughly enjoyed its predecessor, but I just couldn’t look past its ugly visuals, boring combat, and repetitive gameplay. If you want a good Spider-Man experience on Steam, I suggest getting either Shattered Dimensions or TASM1. If you want an amazing Spider-Man experience, then try to get a copy of Spider-Man 2 on the PlayStation 2, or my personal favorite, Ultimate Spider-Man. In the end, I feel that TASM2 is a very poor man’s Batman Arkham Origins (yes, Origins).
*on a side note, I had to resist the urge to include the many, many puns I had.
