Loaded up the game and resumed my run through the prologue to find that I had been locked the party information menu. Relaunched the game to then run into a UI issue where the action and combo points would not display. Played through it to eventually discover that I was also unable to use consumables thanks (presumably) to said UI issue. Beyond this it also does not seem to explain how core game mechanics work. I'm familiar enough with the genre to have puzzled out the combo points, but I was also generating "momentum" with no idea what it does.

The concept and style is great, but the game is unpolished enough for me to ask for a return after the first mission

I have to say I did not play the first game, FITS, so I have no reference to that. I have thoroughly enjoyed this game and likely will for years to come. It is an excellent roguelike card battle game. 8 different classes mean 8 very different play style that can then be altered within class. The addition of 1-2 companions mean there are a huge number of combo's possible. There is a lot of replaying missions over and over because death is final. I don't see it as a lack of replay ability though. Each battle is it's own fight.

I'd love to see some DLCs add other campaigns and classes. Maybe and Orcs & Goblins Campaign or a dwarf or elf class.

The party and gear systems add more complexity to the solid structure of Fights in Tight Spaces. Perhaps not as elegant, but still fun to find solutions to the combat scenarios and puzzle a way out of seemingly impossible positions. The music continues to be great.

Joguem a Demo primeiro!

Para um deckbuilder, o jogo possui muitas mecânicas desnecessárias, o contraste entres as cartas e a atmosfera do jogo é péssima.

Não esperava que o jogo fosse tão colorido o que acabou deixando o 3D bem tosco, além da trilha sonora ser muito animada para um jogo que tem esse ar sombrio .

Imaginei que o jogo me proporcionaria boa uma experiência, mas na prática, não me agradou.

I played too much of Fights in Tight Spaces, and was surprised that this exists.

I like that it tries new things with a system that was in some ways limited, and does it to a pretty satisfying degree. The equipment subsystem is a little limited though. So far some of the weird bugs in FiTS aren't showing up in this one, but I suppose there's time to discover them. This series seems like it's difficult to balance, but I feel that they mostly get it right.

I guess this is a puzzle game subgenre that I find really compelling. It either works for you, or it doesn't. Also, the art really reminds me of Ben McSweeney's stuff, unless I'm misremembering his style. Something about the way the armor looks, in particular.
