While I love the concept (one of my favourite movies is Stone's Talk Radio) the game is let down by the script.

Dialogue feels like it has been written by Jos Whedon fans, tension is undercut with strange comments and weird jokes that instantly remove the tension.

I wont refund as I'd like to support the devs, I cannot recommend given the consistently cringe nature of the script.

I absolutely loved this game omg- 10/10!!! First watched Jacksepticeye play this and loved it so much, watched the playthrough twice and had to get it for myself!! I always love the 80's slasher vibe, and combined with the radio and 80's tunes its just perfect. The voice acting, the story, the dialogue, choices and direction, all absolutely phenomenal. I havent finished the game yet, but so far, in my opinion, it would be perfect if not for the very unrealistic dialogue. I was kind of expecting more of a horror-feel, with some sense of urgency and panic, but it leans heavily towards comedy instead (and I didnt think it was that funny). Everyone is *way* too happy-go-lucky and jokey even though theres a serial killer on the loose ready to dice them up into millions of irreparable pieces. Maybe some people do enjoy that kind of thing, but it just isnt for me. Though, this game definitely isnt bad. The voice acting and visuals are very charming, and I generally do find these kind of "choices matter" games very enjoyable.

What an amazing game!

I did not know what to expect from the game about radio host and then I found myself being on the edge of my seat for the majority of playthrough. The story is great, I liked learning more about the small town and people there and putting pieces of puzzle together.

The vibe and the atmosphere is insane, I REALLY liked that, instead of throwing jumpscares left and right, the game relies on building tension and suspense that you can feel under your skin at times.

The music - 10/10 every track is a boop.

Definitely recommend and I hope there will be a part two!

This game is a delightful, bite-size experience, especially when you play it in one sitting like I did. Phenomenal performances, excellent writing, cool puzzles. Loved the style, both in the graphics and in how much of a love letter it was to classic 80s horror, especially the likes of Friday the 13th and Halloween. It wears this inspiration proudly, making it extra fun for horror nerds to notice all the nods and references. 10/10.

this was such a surprise!! it was so fun and unexpectedly chilling. I found myself creeped out more times than once which I really didn't expect. the art style is amazing, the colors are wonderful and the soundtrack is top tier! also, you really have to use logic and the clues you find in order to save people, the right answers are not just handed to you which made it all the more fun and engaging. A truly well-crafted thriller game with a distinct 80s vibes, especially in the music.
Every choice matters and affects the townspeople, whether or not they’re saved depends on the decisions you make. Even though it’s set in a radio station, the tension surrounding your choices is palpable, drawing you into the plight of the victims.
The game lasts about 4 to 6 hours depending on your pace; I recommend taking all the time you need for certain puzzles and, above all, playing it using auto-save so you don’t have to go back on your choices, that’s where the real appeal lies. Highly recommended!

Ogni scelta conta e si ripercuote sulle persone della cittadina che verranno o meno salvate dalle scelte fatte, nonostante sia ambientato in una stazione radio la tensione nelle scelte si fa sentire, facendoti immedesimare nelle situazioni dei malcapitati.
Il gioco ha una durata di circa 4 o 6 ore a seconda del ritmo con cui si vuole giocarlo, consiglio di prendersi tutta la calma che serve per determinati enigmi e sopra tutto di giocarlo usando il salvataggio in auto e non tornare indietro sulle scelte fatte, il bello sta proprio in quello. Consigliatissimo!

良かった点
・海外ドラマさながらの臨場感あふれるゲーム進行
全編フルボイスでラジオパーソナリティ＆アシスタント＆ギャロウズクリーク住民の掛け合いが繰り広げられる。日本語ボイスには対応していないものの、日本語訳には対応しており安心してドラマパートを楽しむことができる。喜怒哀楽の表現も非常に豊かで、ゲームでありながら海外ドラマを見続けているような不思議な感覚になる。

・直感的な操作性
プレイヤーはラジオパーソナリティとして、時に電話で人々に指示を出し、時にはナイスな音楽をチョイスし、時にはスポンサーのCMテープを流す必要がある。しかし操作は非常に直感的で、迷うことはほとんどない。ラジオ局内を探索して様々な手掛かりを見つけるパートもあるが、こちらも特別な操作は必要なく物探しに集中できる。ドラマと推理にしっかり没頭できる環境が整っている。

・個性的なキャラクター
皮肉屋で名パーソナリティーのフォレスト。どこかに憎めなく、やはり少し憎たらしいところもあるペギー。愛に生きる男、ユージーン。空手マスター（？）なマーフィなどなど。一癖あるキャラクターが次々とフォレストに助けを求めに来る。彼らを文字通り「生かすも殺すも」フォレスト次第だ。(救えなかった場合はフォレストの皮肉交じりなコメントが聞ける。)

・ジワジワと侵食してくる恐怖感
過去に死んだと思われていた謎の殺人鬼「ホイッスリングマン」が平和な田舎町ギャロウズクリークを一夜で恐怖に陥れる。直接的な描写は少ないものの、指示を間違えればあっさりと、しかし惨たらしく人々は殺されてしまう。普段は慣れ親しんだラジオ局内の探索も、この夜だけは妙な胸騒ぎが付きまとう。そんな中で外を探索するときのドキドキと言ったら…。(とは言え、ジャンプスケアのような急なホラー演出は殆どなく、じっとりとした恐怖を楽しめる。）

もう一声な点
・スキップ、早送り機能が無い点
全実績解除のためには複数回プレイが必要になるが、会話パートをスキップする手段はほとんどない（序盤のチュートリアル程度）。そのため周回プレイではやや手持ち無沙汰になる場面が多かった。また通話中は局内を自由に歩き回ることも制限される。もっとも、通常プレイでは特に困ることはなく、実績回収の際にやや不便に感じる程度ではある。

・カーソルの位置調整が若干面倒。
電話を取る、音楽を流すなど、小さなボタンをクリックする操作が時々求められる。
カーソルを近づけてもボタンに吸着するような補助がないため、押そうとしてズレることがある。
小さな点ではあるが、頻繁に行う操作なだけに少し煩わしく感じることはあった。

很好玩的一款文字互动解谜，SL救人大法永不过时！购买的时候漏看了“恐怖”标签，好在整个流程里除了开头那一小段和中途一些突如其来的怪动静外没什么过于吓人的元素[strike](也就是打完了才能这么说说，其实全程都在提心吊胆的生怕哪一块搞个jump scare吓死我)[/strike]。但是对话不能快进这一点真的很让人恼火，可能是因为有四小时成就限制，且技术力又不足以同步加速记录游戏时间导致的(深表理解但仍然建议优化)。

Quick Description:
-Killer Frequency is a comedy horror murder mystery game. You are a radio DJ that stumbles backwards into saving that town from a deranged, whistling serial killer. The visual style and voice acting are hands down, the star of the show. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end for me. The horror elements are non-existent and the puzzles sprinkled into the game are just as thin. The core gameplay is far too slow, tedious, and repetitive to keep my attention. This is why it has taken me 4 months to play about 5 hrs of this game.

Consensus:
-Bottom Shelf Game (Tier 5 and makes up 10% of my reviews). I really wanted to like this game, but it's just not for me. It's a shame, b/c a lot of love has been poured into the voice acting, the comedy, and the overall atmosphere. But I grew very tired of walking back and forth across the radio station, just to find another item that has a nugget of information that you need to solve a radio call puzzle. This is just not a game that I can recommend.

This is definitely not worth the full asking price but on sale for 80% off? Very much so.

This game is essentially just an interactive visual novel. You walk around, pick up clues and answer callers using said clues to save them from a murderer. The puzzles were nice and well thought out but there's a few of them I think could have been explained a bit better. Voice acting is well done too which is a must given how this game is mostly auditory and the horror relies on tension and atmosphere rather than cheap jump scares. If you are squeamish there is a single jump scare at the beginning of the game during the tutorial.

Game took roughly 6 ish hours to complete for me but it's not one I would want to replay again since there is no fast forward option. You'll have to reread and listen to all the dialogue again. Also, this is a minor complaint but I find Peggy (who is like your sidekick) to be kind of annoying. Dialogue between her and the protagonist feels kinda of cheesy and out of place at times.

Overall, this was a pretty solid game that you can finish in even one sitting if you wanted to. Do pick it up on sale and if it isn't I would suggest waiting

Sentimientos encontrados con el juego. La historia que plantea es de lo más interesante y los momentos en los que hay que tomar elecciones están bien hechos, pero ya. Me ha faltado poder interactuar más con objetos, sobretodo en las partes en las que solo se habla pero no hay nada más que hacer.

Весьма добротный проект про диктора на радио, которому пришлось ночь оттарабанить оператором службы спасения. Сюжет хороший, саспенс сделан грамотно. Стилистика, цветовая палитра очень хорошо играют на атмосферу конца 80-х. Диджейский сет огонь.

Единственное, до чего хочется докопаться, это эпизод с вычислением следующей жертвы маньяка. Есть такое ощущение, что там накосячили с датами, потому что они не стыкуются. Образуется разница в один год, из-за которой тот, кто оказался мишенью, выглядел менее очевидно, чем тот на кого ткнул я.

Жаль, что такие игры одноразовые. Повторное прохождение имеет смысл только ради достижений, потому что ты уже знаешь как будут развиваться события, и эффекта вау, напряжения, уже не будет.
А так, игрушка на вечер классная.

无聊到发困的程度，在电台收听来电帮助别人逃脱杀人魔挺好玩的，但是坏就坏在只能干站着看对话、做选择
中场穿插的对话真的无聊、也没什么幽默段子，还不能快进。氛围烘托的好像很紧张马上要被杀了，结果来电人还有心情在那自言自语、说各种语气词也是没谁了，捧读感你赢了
选择也是绝了，有的选项完全没可以判断对错的逻辑性，第二个人那选红蓝绿棕粉线纯靠运气，真服了，完全就是拖时间读档重来，非常重复、枯燥、无聊

Un viaje nostálgico que no sabía que necesitaba

Como alguien que hizo radio en su adolescencia, Killer Frequency me voló la cabeza. La sensación de estar en la cabina rodeada de botones, discos y neones es perfecta, me atrapó desde el vamos
Lo que más me gustó es la interactividad. Acá tenés que estar a mil, tocando botones, buscando mapas y poniendo vinilos mientras gestionás el caos de la ciudad por el micrófono. La jugabilidad es súper táctil y satisfactoria, y la atmósfera te transporta a los 80 de una forma increíble.
Aunque es cortito (unas 4-5 horas), la historia es súper sólida y te mantiene en tensión constante

A nostalgic trip I didn't know I needed

As someone who did radio back in my teens, Killer Frequency absolutely blew my mind. The feeling of being in the booth surrounded by buttons, vinyls, and neon lights is perfect; I was hooked from the get-go.
What I loved most was the interactivity. You have to be "on" all the time, hitting buttons, checking maps, and queuing records while managing the city's chaos over the mic. The gameplay feels super tactile and satisfying, and the atmosphere transports you to the 80s in an incredible way.
Even though it’s a short experience (around 4-5 hours), the story is solid and keeps you in constant tension.

very cute and underrated game !!!! also love the vintage audio equipment, i'm studying to go into an audio tech field and it really does look like the vintage audio stuff i've seen. lots of love to the developers. is it kind of campy? sure, but it knows it is. It strikes a healthy balance art direction wise between the actual brown-ness of the eighties and the pop culture neon lights, I think.

Gra jest świetna. Ma swój niesamowity klimat daje poczucie fabuły thrillera z lat 80tych.
Estetyka jest fantastyczna i utrzymana w klimacie nocnego studia radiowego w jakimś małym miasteczku.
Fabuła jest bardzo wciągająca i intryguje do końca.
Muzyka podtrzymuje klimat a całość jest miła dla oka i ucha.

I didn’t expect a game about running a radio station to be this stressful the atmosphere is on point the characters feel real and every choice had me second guessing myself I like how it builds tension without relying on cheap jump scares

Doesn't take too long if you're looking for a quick and re-playable game. Fun, spooky/creepy, and of course I triggered the bad ending on my first try. Highly recommend especially at the discounted price. Love the story and the vibes.

Really fun game! I love slasher movies and this game really does a great job scratching that same itch. The solutions to the puzzles all feel perfectly balanced, I got most of them on my first playthrough, and the ones I didn't get felt like my fault, rather than the game being obtuse. The game is long enough to feel like a full experience, but doesn't go on long enough to overstay its welcome. The music and visuals are all really nice. Some of the voice acting is a bit cheesy at times, but honestly that almost just made it feel more like a slasher movie. I love that the map is covered in references to horror movies, with road names like Weyland, Haddonfield, Romero, and Macready. I got the game on sale for only $5, but even at $25 I think this game would be worth the price tag. I also made 725 shots into the trash can from my desk

En Killer Frequency tomamos el papel de un locutor de radio que por cierto suceso (que no voy a spoilear) termina atendiendo llamadas de emergencia y deberas ayudar a las personas que llamen. De eso dependera su destino (y el tuyo)
Es dificil catalogar este juego en un genero, es como un thriller con toma de decisiones.

Como punto negativo solo pondria 2, y es que algunas decisiones deberian poder replantearse a medida que se planifica, una vez respondido, el objetivo se fija (ya entenderan al jugarlo) y la otra es una mision donde debemos tratar de descifrar que va a pasar, el problema es que es demasiado ambiguo y 90% probable que de responda mal.

De resto, 10/10. Ideal para jugar con tu novia al lado tomando decisiones entre los 2.

The concept of this game is extremely unique and yet, they did it perfectly. The story had much depth and was beautiful. Only thing I dont like about the game is how easy the puzzles are but thats saved by the main characters deep radio voice.
