Wait for a sale - fun at first, but gets quite repetitive.

Could use more variety in the missions - not necessarily more types, but more things that could differentiate one Defend the Refinery mission from the next Defend the Refinery mission.

IDUN is an enjoyable take on the Tower Defense genre. The gameplay is exactly what you see on the box; You shoot bugs, move turrets and a couple units around in a pseudo-RTS fashion, and work with a very basic meta-upgrading system to make your selection of defenses stronger. It is a fast-paced game where individual "rounds" take 2-15 minutes, typically around 5. The game handles literal thousands of enemies being on-screen at once pretty well too.

There are several gamemodes that change up the core mechanics, several enemies that require special attention to handle, and a few simple modifiers applied on a per-mission basis. There are a LOT of missions to play, despite their contents not actually varying that much.

My only note of warning is that the game is entirely AI voice-acted and it does not sound very good. However, the voicelines/dialog are not a major feature and can be entirely skipped through without missing much; the story kinda tells itself. I would honestly prefer to see Simlish or another bark text variant used, I feel like that would add more character to the characters without requiring voice actors.

总结:价格相比游戏内容略显一般,重复性较高,玩的挺爽的.
如果我现在看到的是全部科技树的话后续没有拓展了,那么内容丰富度一般.任务也基本全部体验过了,目前的重复性已经比较高了.大该玩了5个小时左右吧就出现重复性内容了,打两把就不想打了.
不过打的挺爽的,虫潮蜂拥而至,细腻的画面击杀特效,没事打俩任务爽爽还是可以的,但是一直打挺无聊的.

This feels very much like a mobile game port.
I tried playing it with controller but gave up pretty early due to the drag and drop controls. Also overworld and tutorials feelt like a cheap mobile game.

IDUN is a complex TD game in a sub-genre that includes terrains and storylines. The graphics are excellent and the game play is both challenging and entertaining. Most of the classic elements of TD are included - tower(s) to defend, turrets with choices for placement, upgradeable turrets, heroes to help win. I think it will appeal to most TD players (8/10).
