Homicipher

Homicipher is an adventure horror game where you’ll decipher a language, fall in love and escape. Players will face various horrifying men in this strange world. Your aim is to decipher their language and eventually find a way to escape. Meanwhile, a peculiar feeling also starts to bloom.

Storyline

In the Other World, all these mysterious men use an unusual set of words. Players must speculate the true meaning of those words through their expressions, gestures, the objects they are pointing at, and many more to successfully understand what they are talking about. You may encounter different men anytime during your stay in this dark space. And not all of them are friendly. When danger strikes, you must make the correct decision to continue your journey searching for an escape.

I had so much fun in a way I never expected especially because I tend to scare easily. I came into it not thinking it could really be an enjoyable experience (though I was willing to be surprised), and somehow it blew every expectation out of the water. Learning the language was such a fresh concept and getting to know the characters meant more as a result. Every path is so interesting and there is so much to tap into. I hope anyone who is a little hesitant like I was gives it a go because you'll have a great afternoon ahead of you by playing it! Also, Mr. Crawling is truly that guy.

才发现首发折后居然比常驻价格贵，玩法比较新颖，但剧情很单薄，没有人物配音，音效也几乎都是免费素材库产物，除了爬行男子之外其他角色的剧情量真的非常少，如果能打折到三十以下感觉才稍微有一点性价比。

各々の関係性が垣間見える感じが大変良かったです
言語解読としては完璧に答えが見つかっていないのが少し歯がゆいですが、言いたいことが分かるので良しとしてます。言語を積極的に教えようとしてくれるので、言語解読入門編としておすすめです。

游玩体验感还行，吓人的方式就是不停突脸+一惊一乍的音乐。我本身不喜欢乙游的人但是当初这个游戏出来打了乙的噱头（现在好像只归到女性向标签里了），人外这点蛮吸引我的所以就买来玩了。恐怖氛围在文游里算比较低级的了（心理恐怖基本没有），吓人方式也比较低级（但有效），总的来说值得玩😋原价买不太值但是好像也没怎么搞过活动（我是原价买的冤大头）

Simplesmente amei, foi um trampo para entender as frases mas valeu muito, confesso que achei o preço um pouco salgado pela quantidade de conteúdo mas ok. Temos finais com quase todos os personagens que aparecem ao decorrer do jogo, até agora meus favoritos são o Mr. Chopped e o Mr. Crawling pois ambos são dois piticos. O silver é uma boa opção mas enfim... ele acaba matando nosso cabecinha de qualquer forma e isso me deixou triste, por mais que ele tenha ido atras de um corpo por nossa causa, ele acabou ficando bilu teteia legal, tanto que se não o matamos, ele nos mata.
Se vc está atrás de um jogo otome diferente dos padrões, esse é perfeito, tanto pela modalidade de jogo onde vc pode refazer suas escolhas e reparar seus erros.

the story is surprisingly amazing, and i love how its an open ended story. some characters may appear scary, but they are surprisingly wholesome and i love that.
i love the puzzles too, it felt like a real language at times with how broad the meaning of a word can be.

Es divertido, con múltiples finales y un menú excelente para poder regresar a tus escenas favoritas de tus capítulos favoritos y así completar el juego al 100%. Have never seen a romance game where I dont know what the characters are saying, the premise is sooo unique and the game plays really well. The visuals are stunning and theres so much to do in this game! I havent finished even like half of it yet. I have no notes on Mr Crawling, hes my husband now, I dont know what drug they put in his visuals, but Im just obssesed with him, hes so cute. Anyway, love love love this game 10/10

Definitely makes you think. The characters are very likeable, and LOVEE the premise of this game. The story is so so good too, and learning things about the storyline feels so much more satisfying when you've had to learn the language before getting to this point.

Fun interactive. I liked the characters and the different endings you could collect. I wish we had the background for more of the characters in game. It was a bit difficult to decipher. I ended up using a dictionary for it online after struggling. #mr.gap and #mr.crawling are life.

Tambien me gusta mucho el sistema del juego de ir descifrando el lenguaje, me parece super original y entretenido y como el juego te va dando pistas. 刚开始的时候还被突然跳至面前的角色吓一跳来着，也因为错误翻译出现过一些让人不明就里的场面。
[spoiler]因为翻译错误，不知道缝隙男在说什么，以为他只是不喜欢让人进自己房间所以才刀人（让你滚蛋就装傻在那笑是吧），搞半天他是个器官收集爱好者，哈哈 [/spoiler]
主角属于是玻璃大炮，高攻0防，会被路边不知名鬼杀，但主动出手就是见一个杀一个。不管是谁来了都得被歘一下打成糊糊。
玩了一段时间越看越觉得他们很萌。各有各的萌。特别是爬爬，过剧情打了他，后面他居然一点不生气只是委屈地躲起来哭吗？好狗狗好狗狗，给我整愧疚了都。

マウスパッドでプレイしていますが、全く問題ありません。（マウス買い替え中）
這いばい男さんがメロすぎて、多少の怖さなんて吹き飛びます。
見た目ホラーだけど癒されるゲーム。最高です。

i've been playing Otome style games for about Seven years now and i always adore when there's also quite a bit of horror at play as well, what a wonderful combination!
from the endings i've gotten so far i'd rate the game a solid 9.2/10, it would be 9.5 if i was able to give Mr Scarletella a kiss on the cheek. alas though that is not allowed. still really great game though!

J'aime tellement ce jeu, si seulement il pouvait avoir plus de reconnaissance ! L'histoire (que ce soit l'horreur ou même l'apprentissage d'une langue), les musique (celle de l'écran d'accueil est magnifique, j'ouvre parfois le jeu juste pour l'écouter), les personnages (mon dieu juste regardez la MC ?? For such a short and sweet game, I fell in love with all the residences of the netherworld, especially Mr. Crawling (but with special mention to Mr. Chopped!). I was kind of scared at first since I am weak to horror, but you get used to everything after a while, and again, you grow to love all these ghosts! You'll go from "Someone save me from them!" to "Someone save my darlings!" As my final hurrah, I had to replay Mr. Crawling's good end (if you know, you know), as one last goodbye to this game.

The game mechanic is very unique. It is a word deciphering game. I recommend trying it out on your own first before looking for tutorials as there is something satisfying as having an "Aha!" moment when the words finally click.

Highly recommend if you're an otome fan with a soft side for monster boyfriends!

作为一款恋爱游戏来说，还是挺让人耳目一新的。学鬼话这个环节还是挺有意思，让人啼笑皆非。与各个男鬼之间结局较多，有的竟然还挺温馨。但是五十多块买这个游戏实在不值得，性价比太低，而且对比其他恋爱游戏来说实在有些单薄，一旦适应了主要玩法，后面就千篇一律，没什么吸引力了。鉴于我还挺喜欢爬爬，综合以上优缺点可以给到这个游戏NPC，如果价格降到20以内，那么就可以大力推荐。

Правда не ожидал чего-то столь милого и доброго когда начинал играть!
Моментальная классика, и она тут же отправляется в мой топ 10 игр когда либо выходивших.

На фоне душных визуальных новелл и jrpg с кучей повторяющегося текста - это просто глоток свежего воздуха. Темп для своего жанра здесь просто бешеный, выборов много, последствий тоже. Играть действительно интересно.

Очень понравилось как центральная механика используется через всю игру в куче разных контекстов и ситуаций. Без спойлеров тут нельзя, поэтому в пример ничего не приведу, но можете быть уверены, что одним лишь гиммиком с заменой текста все не заканчивается.

Она даже *почти* не ведет за руку как это обычно бывает, пусть подсказок тут много, а за смерти не наказывают, игра явно рассчитывает на вашу внимательность.

Крайне рекомендую всем!

Fun, interesting, and a bit challenging. This game is not only spooky, but can also be very cute and wholesome when it comes to certain interactions with certain characters. The story is engaging, the characters are all unique and intriguing, and the twists and turns never feel forced. Even the MC, a somewhat blank slate for the player, feels fleshed out and like they've got real personality. All in all, a great experience with lots of content and many different endings that I definitely recommend for people looking for something different :)))

面白かった～！ストーリーだけだとライトなホラーアドベンチャーという感じなのですが、言語解読要素が他にない感じでかなり面白いです！自分の翻訳があっているか制覇したシナリオ読み返して照らし合わせたりとやり込み要素が楽しい！

コテコテ乙女要素が苦手なのでゲーム説明を見て一瞬購入を躊躇したけど、やってみたら全然でしたｗ仲良しというか懐かれというか、ガチ恋愛～て感じではないので説明書きが過剰に思えるくらいで普通に遊ぶ人を選ばないゲームだと思います。
ホラー要素も死や血の表現があるけどそんなに恐怖をあおるような詳細な描かれ方はしていないですし、これについても苦手な方でも大丈夫じゃないかなあと思ってます。

シナリオチャートは無く再プレイ時に選んだことのある選択肢かどうかの判別が出来る仕様も無いので、自力プレイ派は記憶が消えないうちに前エンディング埋めるまで一気にプレイしきるのが良いと思います。仕事の日に休日一日挟んだ程度ののんびりプレイで三日でクリア出来ました。

SEがものによってかなり音量に違いがあるので丁度よく調整が出来ないのが若干ストレスだったかな。

個人的には最初は付きまとい系ホラー要員だった隙間男が今それどころじゃないとか押しのけられたり邪魔そうに穴をガムテでふさがれたりメタ要素入れてきたりと徐々にギャグ要員化してくのが面白かったです。いつものパーツくれくれ様式美をせずに自分の特集記事見せつけて自慢だけして帰った時は声出して笑いましたｗ
初期は「その先を見る」ボタンが出ない仕様だったせいでYourSideとRunionを見つけるのにめちゃくちゃ手こずったのですが、最後のエンディングとして見たのがRunionだったのでこれでゲームも終わりという自分は感情移入してしまって思わず泣いてしまいました…ｗ

Una vn otome bastante única en el aspecto que tienes que ir conociendo el idioma de las entidades del lugar, esto se hace gracias a que anotas en un libro las palabras que interpretas que ellos dicen, siento que es más cómodo el hacerlo en inglés porque todo el juego anda traducido en ese idioma, pero lo que se dice en el juego no es algo muy difícil, así da la posibilidad de anotar las palabras en español.

Fuera de eso, el apartado de artístico me gusta bastante, además que la estética general del juego a mí me agrada mucho, la música de fondo en momentos del juego anda bien pero lo mejor que tiene en cuanto a ese tema es la de la intro y el ending del juego.

Tienes el suficiente contenido para hacer (aunque yo siento que daba para más) varios finales, rutas diferentes aunque muchas de ellas llevan a los mismos camino, que en mi consideración estaría de lujo que eso te lleve a cosas diferentes, pero bueno, el juego tiene una duración bastante corta creo yo. 官方钦定官配爬爬，我觉得最劲的就是“Your Side”这个结局了TT但对我个人而言最对xp的还是风帽男子，话不多说只行动的最有魅力了~~~其次就是头颅君，猫耳再就是扎着个麻花辫太可爱了~！

Consigliatissimo.
Divertente e impegnativo a suo modo, ci ho giocato volentieri e non scherzo quando dico che non volevo staccarmi neanche un attimo! Purtroppo di titoli con questo input aka con un linguaggio da dover comprendere, scoprire, ne esistono pochi.
Nel complessivo ha una bella storia, i personaggi sono sviluppati davvero bene, nonostante l'iniziale blocco linguistico, appena gli conoscerai più a fondo, sarà impossibile non affezionarsi. Ci sono varie route e capire come accederle non è complesso, anzi. Rigiocabilità assicurata e, colpisce anche nel non sentirlo pesante come spesso, su alcuni otome la pesantezza si sente.
Darò i miei pro e contro.

PRO:
- Rigiocabilità assicurata, tuttavia, non risulta pesante.
- Davvero divertente, il gameplay è riuscito a pieno.
- Personaggi strutturati benissimo, niente da dire a riguardo e alcuni li porto ormai a cuore. (Mr. Gap e Mr. Crawling parlo di voi.)
- Un gioco di parole riuscito nel suo genere e speriamo che questo porti all'uscita di altri.

CONTRO:
- Mr. Crawling non esiste nella vita reale </3

Sostanzialmente, non penso ci siano buchi nel gioco, la considero un'ottima esperienza. Se proprio devo trovargli un contro, forse direi che poteva osare un po' di più sulla storia ma nel complesso, è una gemma che spero in molti troveranno e apprezzeranno come me.
Se state ancora esitando, fidatevi, non fatelo e buttatevi in questo bel mondo di Homicipher, non vi deluderà!
