an amazing collection that i had hoped and prayed for for YEARS before it was announced. would have liked a display option that hides the subscreen and it should have also contained symphony of the night, but it's still absolutely fantastic. check it out
Tan bueno como lo recordaba, la escencia de los metroidvania. Nunca he podido encontrar otro igual como Dawn of sorrow.
Son los exponentes; los padres del genero y lo mejor de este. Espero con ansias Symphoni of the night, nunca lo jugué y dicen que es aun mas peak.
Ahora una pregunta: Porque no emularlo? Porque tiene calidades de vida y adaptado a Pc de la DS, algo que un emulador no lo hace tan bien, este usando el espacio vacio en algo util. Recomendado

1. [b]Dawn of Sorrow (2005).[/b]
Очередной клон Symphony of the Night. В игре добавили возможность улучшать оружие за души, а режим за Джулиуса, который открывается после основного прохождения, дает возможность играть за трёх новых персонажей. Всё, что требовалось делать стиком на DS, хорошо садаптировали под геймпад, хотя можно было просто вырезать. В остальном, лучше играть в эту часть в последнюю очередь, т.к. остальные игры предлагают хоть что-то новое. Тем более, скины врагов полностью скопированы из этой части в другие без каких-либо изменений.
2. [b]Portrait of Ruin (2006).[/b]
Здесь концепцию несколько изменили. Во-первых, теперь в нагрузку нам дали второго персонажа со своим набором оружия и навыков, на которого можно как переключаться и играть самому, так и доверить компьютеру. Интеллект у напарника не очень, но в части урона он будет помогать неплохо. Для любителей соло, напарника можно убрать в любой момент.
Вторым нововведением являются картины, размещенные по замку главным злодеем и позволяющие попадать на другие уровни помимо замка. Это позволило сильно разнообразить локации, например, добавить Египет. Увы, железо тогда было слабое, и дизайн локаций в последних картинах будет повторяться, с минимальными изменениями.
3. [b]Order of Ecclesia (2008).[/b]
Такое ощущение, что именно эта часть стала основой для Dark Souls, со всем худшим, что в этой серии есть, начиная от переапанных мобов и заканчивая боссами с ваншотами. Это всё ещё самая плохая часть серии, в которой оружие и магию заменили глифами, что на практике не меняет практически ничего (например, глиф меча визуально аналогичен обычному удару мечом). Помимо этого, игру разбили на отдельные зоны и попытались разнообразить квестами от деревенских жителей, которые, в основном, связаны с фармом, поиском на локациях и прохождением некоторых данжей, которые настолько длинные и сложные, что радует только отсутствие ачивок на них.
Dopo aver divorato, e amato visceralmente, sia Symphony of the Night, che i tre capitoli per GBA, sono riuscito finalmente a mettere le mani su i tre Castlevania usciti invece per NDS. Mi vorrei soffermare a parlare di tutti e tre ora che li ho finiti tutti al 100% (Portrait al 1000%, in realtà XD ), sia gioco base che extra, senza fare spoiler ovviamente, ma partiamo da un presupposto: non avendoli giocati sulla console originale non sono influenzato né dal ricordo del tempo né li ho mai provati con le caratteristiche originali (tipo i sigilli da fare) ma, a prescindere, qui ci troviamo di fronte a tre tra i miglior metroidvania mai fatti. Se vi piace il genere, potete non andare neanche oltre: cliccate su Acquista e giocateli.
Iniziamo con [b]Order of Ecclesia[/b]. Sarò sincero, per me è il capitolo più debole di questa trilogia, per due motivi: l'elemento metroidvania stesso, e il finale buono. Questo gioco è, infatti, caratterizzato da una struttura a livelli separati, che sono belli e variegati, ma che hanno poco o nulla di elementi metroidvania - è quasi più un "semplice" action 2D con un minimo di esplorazione. Ci sono i segreti, ci sono le quest che vi "costringono" a tornare sui vostri passi, ma siamo lontani dall'elemento metroidvania preponderante degli altri capitoli. Da appassionato del genere, questo per me è un grosso difetto. L'altro problema è che come si ottiene il finale buono, che non ho particolarmente apprezzato: non voglio fare spoiler, ma se concettualmente ha senso, per come è strutturato "cosa si deve fare", è un no, ma non posso dire altro senza fare spoiler. Per il resto, lato gameplay è il più action e veloce dei tre: un solo personaggio, tutto è legato ai sigilli (Shanoa, la protagonista, non ha neanche le armi, se vuole tirare una spadata deve usare il sigillo della spada), ricarica del mana velocissima, azione veloce e frenetica, poche tecniche ma buone (la suddetta spada si potenzia, ad esempio, trovando i sigilli della stessa, ma in versione più forte), boss fight incredibili (a parte alcune, io ad esempio odio Eligor per come è realizzato, così come il granchio, anche se sono belli da vedere "da fuori"). Ha un dungeon extra che è uno tra quelli più "sbagliati" e squilibrati che abbia mai visto in un gioco del genere, ed una modalità extra che è senza infamia né lode, ma, in generale, è un gioco incredibile, una masterclass di come si realizza un action 2D con qualche elemento metroidvania. E, ripeto, per me è il più debole dei tre.
Passiamo invece a [b]Portrait of Ruin[/b]. Ho amato alla follia questo gioco. Questo per me è un Castlevania con la C maiuscola: un castello enorme con tante sotto-aree a loro volte gigantesche, pieno di segreti, zone belle da esplorare, tanti oggetti da trovare, ben bilanciato in tutto, quest con alti e bassi (nel senso che alcune richiedono purtroppo grind, ma in generale sono belle), e la coppia di protagonisti che semplicemente funziona. Potevano sfruttare molto meglio il dualismo tra i due, specie lato Metroidvania, ma funziona: ognuno ha i suoi punti di forza e punti deboli, combattono volendo insieme (con il malus che se l'altro viene colpito perdi mana, che è in comune) e offrono stili di gioco diversi. Ma poi gli extra: quello al "femminile" è bello, ma l'altra modalità mi ha divertito così tanto che è stato un piacere rifarmi tutto il gioco da capo solo per farla. Uno tra i più bei Castlevania che abbia mai giocato.
Infine, passiamo ad un altro pezzo da 90, ovvero [b]Dawn of Sorrow[/b]. Qui abbiamo addirittura un unico castello gigante da esplorare, singolo personaggio ma con la possibilità di avere due pre-set diversi (che fanno la differenza), ed è tutto basato sulle anime dei nemici, che è sia la croce che la delizia del gioco: croce perché alcuni hanno delle probabilità di essere rilasciate bassissime (per ottenerne alcune serve veramente troppo tempo), delizia perché rendono il gioco incredibilmente variegato. Inoltre, cosa particolare, le armi possono essere potenziate alla loro versione successiva dando in cambio un'anima specifica, cosa che rende doppiamente importante l'ottenimento delle stesse. Ha alcune zone con segreti particolari che sono bellissime (ne avrei volute avere di più), tipo l'area con il gioco dei 15, o il pianoforte, lato boss fight ha alti e bassi (forse è quello più debole tra i tre in questo senso), ma è un altro giocone incredibile, un must play assoluto per gli amanti del genere.
Got this collection to play Dawn of Sorrow since I had it as a kid, but ended up playing Order of Ecclesia instead since it's more enjoyable for me! Shanoa is awesome and while a good amount of assets are the same, it has a different feel and is rewarding to play.

These are my favorite next 3 Castlevania games after Symphony of the Night. I only wish that you could keep the map active, like when I play these on my old DS. Loved the 2 screens.

多米纳斯合集制作的比ADVANCE合集还敷衍，图鉴也敷衍，ADVANCE合集里月轮击杀有卡片的敌人有外挂提示，白夜外挂会提示房间剩余的收集物，晓月击杀敌人会显示名称和魂收集情况。多米纳斯毛都没有。
成就系统敷衍，出了剧情奖杯连苍月的全魂收集都欠奉。纯纯的敷衍。
如果不是为了补各成就留痕，不如玩模拟器。模拟器配滤镜显示效果碾压，而且模拟器有汉化版和各种优秀的改版，比如苍月决定版。

Some great games here. Both Portrait and Ecclesia are up there with SOTN. Dawn is good while also being a slight step down from Aria.

Incredible trilogy of imo the best Igavania games outside of SotN. Also includes an arcade port of the original Haunted Castle and a gorgeous remake called "Haunted Castle Revisited". If you had any concerns at all about how the DS ports would translate to PC, then you can drop them, as imo everything was handled perfectly. For example, the sigil drawing in Dawn of Sorrow has been changed to a quick time event, which I find to be MUCH better than how it originally worked on the DS. Also, the "Richter & Maria" mode AND the "Sisters" mode has both made it over in Portrait of Ruin with no compromise.
Now all we need is for Konami to PLEASE port Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night to Steam and we will have complete access to all classic and igavania titles!
Mostly rock solid collection. only issue is that for me at least Order of Ecclesia crashes constantly but the others work just fine. just a bit annoying that the one with crashing issues is the Hard One

Currently playing Order of Ecclesia for the first time and without any problems! Enjoying it a lot! All in all much value for money in this pack.

Lovely showing from 3 (well, 4 and a remake!) games, all slapped ono a well-running emulator with some lovely crisp soundtrack options as well. Controller is essentially required as you can't map keybinds, but otherwise QoL is much improved.
Jugué el Order Of Ecclesia y me encanto, (En futuro jugaré el resto).
No soy muy afín al género metroidvania, pero debido a la duración y lo no tan enrevesado se disfruta, aun si como yo los metroidvania no suelen ser lo tuyo, es recomendable para recién entrados al género, tiene muchas mejoras de calidad de vida que podrían evitar frustraciones para ciertos jugadores.
La historia es algo simple y hasta cierto punto predecible, pero acompaña bien.
Eso si la única queja seria que jugar con mando no es una recomendación, es casi obligado porque jugar con teclado debido a ciertas decisiones que se tomaron resulta bastante incómodo.
I have only finished Dawn of Sorrow and just started Portrait of Ruin at the time of writing this but genuinely for what this offers and how well it is done I can't help but recommend it. Dawn of Sorrow alone is a fantastic game and has been enhanced with the only feature I can find to complain about the annoyance of the "touch screen" seals during the boss fights. It runs as well as I have played it on any emulator and the rewind feature is fantastic. More remapping and easier access to save states (at least saving them) would be nice but there are at least ways around the button remapping through steam input or if you have a controller (like my 8Bit Do Pro 3) with its own software you can map around the limitations.
It's your Metroidvania fix in the original form and done well.

Warning: Lack of full-screen, Dawn of Sorrow's Luck (among other souls) do not work, and farming souls is abysmal. However, if you wait for a sale it is worth it since these games are a few decades old thus I do not think they are worth buying full price.

遊ぼうにも高くて気軽にプレイできなかった事や蒼月に限って言えばDS発売初期頃に顕著だったDS特有のタッチを[strike]強引に[/strike]使わせるシステムのせいで
ボス討伐後の魔封陣(ボスのHPを削り切ると発生、タッチペンで陣を描くが失敗するとボスのHPが少量回復し戦闘再開)が面倒だったがコントローラーによるコマンド入力に対応させたりとベタ移植ではなく問題点にも切り込んでくれている
各作品メイン画面の横に本来上画面に表示されていたマップやステータスが表示される出来る様になっており2画面だった時とプレイ感はあまり変わらないがステータスはともかくマップは小さすぎて見づらかった
クイックセーブ、クイックロードのほか巻き戻しにも対応しているのでソウルやレアドロップを狙ったりする際に便利ではあったがタイミングによってはフリーズすることもあったため過信は禁物

暁月の続編、キャラグラがアニメっぽくなっているのが気になる人もいるが内容は変わらず良い
ソウルを使って装備の強化が出来たり複数個ソウルを集めると強化されるなど更に面白さUP
唯一の欠点であったタッチ操作云々は上記の通り解消されたのでもう文句無し

物理のジョナサン、魔法のシャーロットを切り替えて探索する
操作していない方を呼び出して疑似協力プレイ的な事も可能でボス戦以外は出しっぱなしでも問題ない程度に賢いので悪魔城の割に画面を賑やかに出来る

最終作かつグリフというソウルに近い独自のシステムがメイン
横スクロールだった頃を意識したほぼ横スクロールオンリーのエリアや復活する中身ランダムの宝箱、いつもの家系の関係者が出てこない等毛色が少々異なる
難易度でいうと容易な方だった2作と比較して見ると被ダメが大きく与ダメがあまり盛れない事から難易度は高めなので前者2作品で慣れた後に遊ぶのを推奨
