This game had a TON of potential but it's just terrible. Even with the detailed tutorial it still is really confusing figuring out what you can do. The interface needs to be streamlined with your choices and the tutorial robot needs to be there for the entire game really. The early game is brutal YOu just die and die and die. It's so hard to even figure out how to do simple things.

Such a great little game. If you find the pixel graphics off-putting then its maybe not for you, but for those who can see beyond such things there is so much to like here. You have some engaging base building as you repair your ancient space station. You have logistical challenges as you try and gather resources from nearby stars, planets and space stations. You have space combat with a variety of classes of ships with multiple possible loadouts. There is an interesting story and a whole lot of humour - any sci fi fans will laugh a lot I suspect. There are so many in-jokes that reference Trek, B5 and so much more. Arguably the weakest aspect is the ground combat which works in much the same way as the ship combat but is far less balanced.

Regardless of the small issues, its great. Had a ton of fun in my couple of play throughs. Strongly recommended. And those aliens who claim to be empaths? Maybe dont believe them :)
