This game is honestly really weird, i never thought i'd see a surrealist horror rage game about a bipedal giraffe with slippery feet in search of literal Love, while i did want to love it and see more of what it had to offer, i don't really like horror since i get jumpscared quite easily and the movement is intentionally very annoying, which i don't find to be fun at all and kept me from playing more. Should you play Giraffe town? Maybe if you also have slipery feet. Special thanks to Rati for gifting me the game and making me suffer.

I never felt the same about gaming since I've experienced this. Why does triple A slop exist to continue their failures when these gems light the way forward in innovation.
Genuine masterpiece of game design and storytelling. Would recommend to anyone, especially those who like easy and laid back games. 11/10, Kojima could never.

this honestly perfectly exemplifies the whole game: a maze section has a character's diary. pretty standard stuff, great opportunity to add some flavor. is it 5 pages to find sprinkled in different spots? nah, let's just have the whole 30-page diary, right at the entrance, 80% stuff you already know, with no "exit" button, so if you wanna stop reading, you have to click through all the pages! i thought the length of it was a joke like 6 pages in, but no, that's just how this game does pacing. you get 30 minute chunks of fun gameplay separated by a 2-hour block of walking simulator through cutscenes. and don't get me wrong, i liked a lot of the writing throughout, but it's diluted by either needless repetition, or the kind of dialogue you come up with on the spot when someone asks you to "say something funny!"

The hardest game of all time, Girafftiny Twon. In Girafftiny twon you play as a giraffe with no hoes on a path to bag the baddest ♥♥♥♥♥ in Griffatiny Twon, Love the Giraffe. After a long trip and a run in with an auraliciuos clown and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gets wicked and you get slimed, but you go back in time and get geeked at the crib instead of chasing hoes. Goated game if only they make a sequel like Destiny has Destiny 2

Might be the most kino game ever made. If you enjoy stuff like Toilet In Wonderland or Crypt Worlds you need to check this game out, broski. Its commitment to the bit is unfathomable.

I can’t stand the “:3” emoji. I absolutely despise it. Every time I see it, I feel a deep, overwhelming hatred that words can barely describe. It’s obnoxious, it’s pathetic, and it makes me physically recoil. There is nothing cute or funny about it, just a disgusting, childish excuse for an expression that ruins everything it touches.
I hate everything about “:3.” I hate the way it looks, I hate the way people use it to try and seem quirky or cute, and I hate the type of person who thinks it’s acceptable. It’s embarrassing. It’s disgusting. It makes me lose all respect for anyone who types it out. You could be the smartest, most respectable person in the world, but the moment you use “:3,” you are dead to me. There is no excuse. No justification. No redemption.
I don’t care if it’s meant as a joke. I don’t care if it’s ironic. Every time “:3” appears, a part of me dies inside. It’s an abomination, and I will never stop hating it.
And I know a majority of you will comment ‘‘:3‘‘ below this post and I do not give the slightest ♥♥♥♥. It’s just another horrible pathetic attempt of yours trying to make me rage.

If I could go back to before I played this game and kill myself I would. I would do it so slowly and painfully. I wish I was that person. So innocent. So humble. I am no longer that man. A kick in the nuts by a dog, and a beheading later, I am changed. I'd rather my testicles get eaten by a slightly anorexic monkey then replay anything that I have. 90% cut scenes, 10% game-play? No, I don't recommend. Save yourself. Go play a good game, like Soda Drinker Pro.

i wouldn't say its a good game really, because the cutscenes seem a bit long, and the animation isn't great. But the story is incredible, so it's worth a play.
I'd call this one a certified banger.
When I first played Giraffe Town, I expected a solid game, but I got so much more. The adventures of Giraffe were overall life changing. Whenever I see a truly relatable protagonist it makes me cry. You see, I also was born with slippery feet. I was the product of a relationship between a human and a container of olive oil, and once I slid out of that container I found the world difficult to navigate as someone perpetually oiled up. Seeing representation really speaks to me for that reason.
The games horror is second to none, my favorite part is when I got beaten to death by two people in scuba gear. It was truly terrifying. So terrifying that it made me start traveling the streets of Spokane, Washington becoming an oily scuba bandit beating everyone I meet half to death. Thank you Samer Khatib. The second scariest part was when I walked up to Love and found out she was dead. It was truly terrifying. At the end of the game I was faced with true challenge unlike anything in modern "games" with the weird floating creatures puzzle, or as I hear my less oily half siblings call it, "peak." And the final boss, a commentary on human achievement. It took me four years of gaming to win that fight but, at the end, I was, like the Buddha: enlightened. When I shot the final bullet I must confess to you, gamers, that I nutted. A lot. Which is worse cause my nut is half olive oil by composition. My room is now covered in olive oil. Help me escape my slippery hell.

I truly would recommend this game as something you experience once in your life, since you will genuinely never have any clue where it's heading at any given point. the graphics and visual effects are very appealing to me but others might disagree. the cutscenes are excruciating in a way you won't understand unless you play through the game and see them for yourself. the gameplay is lacking but that's not very important to me. I came for the experience and an experience is what I got. the ending is literally unbeatable tho. thanks samer khatib, very cool

I honestly haven't delved into much of this game to leave a full review (yet - I shall edit this one day when I experience more) but Giraffe Town is a game that CANNOT be explained. Just purchase it and play. You're in for a journey or a "trip" you could say....fun shenanigans to be had.

I would like to preface this by saying I don't think I've ever written a review for a game before, but this game was so special that I felt the need to do so. With that being said...
This game is a truly transformitive experience. I came out of this game a completely changed man. The gameplay was simple, yet complex enough to be challenging. There are multiple different routes to take in your playthrough, so adds much replayability. The characters introduced are interesting, have good development, and are utilized to the best extent possible. The main character, Mr. Giraffe, is an interesting little fellow who goes through a great character arc and has truly enticing development through the storyt. The story itself is enjoyable with many perfectly placed plot twists and turns.
I would 100000% recommend this game to anyone, if you have the money to spare. Truly, the game of all time.

This is the greatest masterpiece of a game I have ever played. Out of all the Samer Khatib productions this is the most intuitive and enjoyable game I have set my eyes on. Giraffe town should be placed in a museum, and it should be the centerpiece of their collection.

This game grew on me a lot throughout my playthrough. The noise textures and Miximo animations help create an absurd and surreal atmosphere that fits the comedic moments as well as the surprisingly unsettling ones.
There are a few annoyances, like the first chunk of the game being a bit streamer rage bait-y for my taste, checkpoints sometimes being placed *before* long walks that are annoying to repeat, and no options to speed up/slow down/pause cutscenes. The biggest pain point was after I was booted out to the main menu (which happens every time you get a game over). I accidentally pressed "new game" instead of "continue", and since the "are you sure you want to overwrite your save?" warning is interactable instantly and defaults to "yes", I accidentally wiped my save and had to start over.
However, despite those annoyances, I still kept playing since I consistently wanted to see what would happen next, which is a sign of an engaging game imo! A lot of comedic moments landed for me, the facial expression cycling and "sorry i only had a fork lying around" gags immediately come to mind. On the horror side, the [spoiler]heavy breathing, sudden cuts, loud dialogue sound, and motion tracking on "Love" in the house[/spoiler] created a really tense vibe that worked great for the scene.
The game's definitely worth the $3 asking price; if you're ok with the cutscenes and earlier gameplay segments sometimes feeling like they're wasting your time, you get a unique and fun experience. Give it a shot!

This Game is absolute Garbage, Only bought it to make a friend laugh for like 3 seconds
the game was great at first until you reached the maze and final boss level... is straight up unfair and the final boss is absolute jerk as sometime he can run toward you not doing his intended melee attack and damage you rapidly effectively draining all your full HP to zero in just 2 seconds because there are no damage cooldown, the maze level is the worst offender of them all as there plenty of enemies that can swarm you, push you, block you, and most of all phasing through the wall! you can't clear them as they will respawn infinitely, you need 2 shots to kill them and that is not all, you are limited to just 6 ammo max and ammo are very scarce even in final boss!
Very fun and replayable :) Always fun to come back to when you wanna struggle a bit

Das war ja mal einer der größten Fiebträume die ich auf Steam gesehen habe. Für 3€ gibt es verschiedene Skillchecks mit einer Cursed, Fiebertraumhaften und Uncanny Atmosphäre die seinesgleichen sucht. Unerwartet viel Content und Fesselnd in mehreren passagen. Einige sind dabei wirklich schlecht durchdacht und hart frustrierend, aber diese Goofy Cutscenes haben mich so hart an der Stange gehalten, dass ich es einfach zuende bringen musste, obwohl der Chat schon lange skippen wollte. Hier habe ich Potenzial gesehen und ich glaube es hatte sich gelohnt. Ich hatte unironisch spaß, besonders die Dialoge zu vertonen. Besonderes Augenmerk liegt bei diesem Spiel auch am Sounddesign besonders in den Gruselpassagen die ich echt gut gemacht finde, sowie an Cutszenes, bei denen das pacing aber oft nicht ganz (bewusst?) stimmt. Alles in allem eines der besten schlechten Scuffed HorrorGames, die ich bisher unter hunderten spielen durfte. Daher mindestens eine persönliche Empfehlung wenn jemand mal ein klassisches "Scuffed Game" spielen möchte.

This was the most emotionally moving game I have ever experienced. It had the perfect blend of happy and sad moments. All of the characters are deep and well thought out. Gameplay elements are varied and always engaging. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for an amazing, life-changing experience.
