It's not for me but I can see how other people would like it. Level wise it's fun, the constant threat of falling down to the bottom is intimidating and the commentary is actually entertaining. My problem with it is the controls feel like I'm holding a wet bar of soap covered in dishwashing liquid. It's fast when I don't want it to be, slow when I do. Controls at times feel more like a suggestion than a direction and don't even mention stopping.
That being said though I do like the game. I like the fact that it's super clear what you have to do even if it's so hard to do it. I like the grindset collectables that make you throw an attempt just to maybe get some audio about dudes being alpha podcasters. I like that every level completed feels like you've conquered a mountain. I got to the curved jumping bits at intern level an hour in and felt proud of that but I also know that I didn't want to spend the next three hours malding and trying to get the last jump.
Overall I'd say the game is for a very specific type of person who really enjoys the grind, the incremental pieces of advancing knowing there's a risk of falling and doing it all over again. 6/10
I really want to like this game but every once in a while it starts to stutter to unplayable levels. The first time I thought it was a bad install, so I reinstalled it and it worked fine. Now I'm up to Junior Analyst and it's started again and I don't want to reinstall after getting this far.

Hitboxes are god awful and the physics is just wrong on so many levels, the map was also designed by an 8 year old with an overactive imagination

This is the perfect game. The writing is fantastic, the story is immaculate and i have never seen anything like it before. I already knew it was a masterpiece before i played it. The song that played when i completed the doinkler portfolio made me feel like my life is complete. And yes, i cried. Jerry and Richard will forever be my favourite couple. I wish i could give this game more than a 10 / 10.

The movement is actually very fluid and fun. It's like a perfect combination of csgo surfing and trackmania movement. It's very intuitive and my favourite movement system for climbing games like this

I have been stuck as a Junior Financial Analyst for an untold amount of time. Every year, I get invited to the wine mixer. Every year, I get offered an interview for the position that keeps opening up (not sure what that's about, surely the high turnover means nothing). And every year, without fail, I find myself a cog in the machine once more. I don't even have a hat to show my dedication! Maybe one day, they will recognize my hard work, but today is not that day.

overall this is a fun game however I had a issue with using a nintendo switch pro controller the controller would consistently just stop working after losing 3 hours of progress because of this issue I stopped playing the game though I'm unsure if that's a game issue or a steam issue with their controller support.
first rage game ive ever played and it was SO HARD but i beat it after 7 hours! definitely going to try to beat it quicker but overall i love this game! hard but very rewarding, highly recommend to others wanting to challenge their patience (and anger issues)

Really fun game, it's not a low effort game, the game got some good controls and some funny podcasts you can listen in the game.
i recommend if you enjoy these type of climbing games.

This is one of the best rage games I've ever played as you don't fall to the very beginning of the game but you can fall to the beginning of the section or sometimes even further than that. The mechanics are really unique and fun to mess around with especially in the DLC - I also really loved the creative narration and witty sense of humor that the developers decided to go with. Seriously, one of the best and most enjoyable games I've ever played.

the game is fun but the yellow jump pads in the doinkler special are so inconsistent it just completeley ruins the game. who ever let the jump pads through play test dropped the ball its not fun to hit the pads what so ever it will just launch you in a random direction even if you hit it pefectly its not worth the frustration to play the tower with the pads
