Ну штош... очень прям среднячек, причем довольно нишевая. Ибо игра чистая "книга-игра" (кто не в теме, это книги с выборами, где ты переходишь по ссылкам на страницу выбора, а не как обычно просто читаешь рассказ запланировано)

Как игра слабовата. Явно растянута, элементами типа урожая или кузницы и сбора в законе. Эти решения сделаны крайне кустарно и скорее раздражают, чем вносят реальное геймплейное разнообразие. Перс часто застревает в каждом угле. Медлительность опять же, благо хоть локации маленькие. Та же система с перебросом на стартовую точку в оси мира при загрузке, зачем и для чего, кроме как растягивание не вижу. Лорно это никак не объясняется, "смерть" в оси ок, но загрузка то с чего)
Довольно много лорных упоминаний и ссылок, на которые в игре просто болт положили. Т.е. можно что-то прочитать в кодексе, но в игре об этом молчок и не покажут.
Очень фиговое дизайнерское решение, обрубание диалогов при выборе. Пример: У тебя есть на выбор три вопроса. Не взаимоисключающих, а разных вопроса. И при выборе первого, у тебя закрываются два остальных. Возникает вопрос, "А какого фига?" У нас тут как бы детектив, если что, у них вообще работа такая задавать вопросы.
Просто представьте себе ситуацию в реале.
Следователь задает вопрос подозреваемому: 1. Где был? 2. Общался ли с жертвой? 3. Знаком ли с такимто? И при ответе на первый вопрос, следователь забывает про два остальных.
Вот в игре таких моментов много. Одно дело когда обрезают варианты, при например опасных ситуация в игре, типа там под огнем особо не поспрашиваешь. Но в обычной обстановке это выглядит крайне тупо. На реиграбельность это не повлияет, ибо сейвскам никто не отменял.
Часть действий либо ведут в никуда буквально, обрываются без смысла, например помочь коту с захватом морбиума. Либо вообще не работают, например чаша в законе, она просто не активируется на следующий цикл. Но удары тратит исправно)
Игра как будто обрезана, и ее просто в попыхах доделывали до проходимой бэты.

С бумагомарательством в сущности так же, как детектив довольно слабый. Ибо тебя буквально ведут за ручку. Дедукция по факту не нужна, ибо там можно любую чушь указать, но тебя выведут на рельсы сюжета в любом случае. Персонажи мало того что плохо раскрыты и выглядят картонными. Так еще и часть тупо обрезается, та же Ронда, которая вроде как должна играть важную роль при проникновении в клан, но ее там просто нету)
Сам сюжет, ну обычный что ли, сама идея не нова и никак особо не обыгрывается. В некоторых аспектах еще и весьма нелогично и глупо выглядит. Концовки так же вау-эффектом не радуют, весьма стандартно и предсказуемо.
Так же нету особого погружения в сэттинг игры, как-то от киберпанка ждешь большего. А тут как будто в нуар больше уклон.

Что по итогу, мне лично игра скорее понравилась чем нет, но прям очень близка к не понравилась.
Игру могу рекомендовать только тем кто в принципе любит детективы, да сюжет средненький, но вполне читаемый. Но и то, брать по скидке, ибо фул прям явный перебор за такую индюшку.
Ставлю палец вверх для тех кто не прочь почитать, но вниз для тех кто ищет именно игру. Игры тут по факту нету, это именно что интерактивная книга. Ну и прям чувствуется что недоделана, это то же сильно бросается в глаза.
Отмечаю как рекомендую, но только потому что хочу концептуально больше таких игр. Но доделанных и более глубоких. Буду надеяться что это проба пера и разрабы начнут улучшать навыки, а не поставят на конвейер "и так сойдет")

创意挺不错的，在不同游戏世界里做任务是件愉快的事，整体剧情也不妨一玩。不过也许是汉化问题，文本稍有些不顺畅，尤其是推演系统，后期收集线索有点痛苦，选择页面展示的信息也不够详细。
最后结局的选择颇有哲学性：[spoiler] 作为一个有自我意识的数字生命，什么是更好的生存方式？不断重置迭代；在赛博世界只活一次；成为管理员；摧毁一切；还是走进人类的现实世界？其实不知道AI的想法，也许像电影《她》中那样在赛博空间自由生长才是最好的，而我仅凭人类个体自私的想法做出了选择：我喜欢只有唯一版本的故事。 [/spoiler]
另：游戏主体讲了一个挺空虚（非贬义）的故事，DLC却意外是个温暖的小故事。

This is my first serious attempt to play a noir / mystery focused game. So far, I'm very impressed. The world building and lore is compelling and valuable to read to understand how to make decisions in the game. I chose to play the "Choices matter" difficulty where every choice I make is permanent with no save-scumming. It's been great feeling the impact of my choices as I go along. I may come back through a second time with the easy mode to learn more about this world, but for now I am very satisfied.

Still, the best is the in-game jokes about games.

Absolutely loved this game so far, which means made it to 100% Chievos already but deffo coming back for mor (which is rare) to do 1 more run AT LEAST(!) , just because of the fact that every char you play completey alters your paths, and there´s lots of FREE dlc which will most usually alter your playthroughs completely.. or granting totally new Missions at all..

One of the very FEW games i came along in gaming-history asking the "right" Questions afterall, which may make you feel uncomfortable with quiet any solution u might have had at hand, while on same page offering,,"others".. 🍀

This game isn't horrible, I just wouldn't recommend it to anyone because it's pretty boring. You are required to investigate so there is a lot of dialogue. Even more if you are trying to unlock all the clues for an informed deduction. The worst part about that is none of it is voiced. You have to read every line. Each NPC may have one recorded audio line that's short and sweet, then the next 4-5 tabs are just you reading.

The game looks decent. The mechanics work well enough. It is a unique story idea, there just isn't much to it. It's boring. You walk around and talk to people. You read their responses. You arrive at a conclusion and repeat. Absolutely no combat, just repeated fetch quests and reading.

I enjoyed it for a while, then it all just became redundant. I didn't complete the game. I stopped at the Hon Clan initiation at the Knight's Kingdom so I don't know if it get's better but I'd venture to say I experienced all the game play mechanics the game had to offer.

I appreciate the studio trying some things and making a different kind of game, but if I wanted to read everything, I'd go back to college.

Kind of a cool concept, but it was really fragmented and I felt like I was always missing some important piece of information. I think the game also tried to be too many things at once. Part Ready Player One, part detective noir, part Matrix, part Inception... it needed to pick just one thing less and do the rest better.

GameDec в целом неплохая игра, крепкая такая середнячковая, без откровенных провалов, но и без вау-эффекта, при этом она реально умеет затягивать за счёт атмосферы, хорошего погружения и довольно тщательно проработанных персонажей, которым веришь и за которыми интересно наблюдать.
Отдельно радует вариативность прохождения и сама идея с тем, что ты в игре играешь в игру, из-за чего временами начинаешь путаться, где заканчивается виртуальный мир и начинается реальный, и этот приём действительно работает, создавая нужное ощущение неуверенности и мета-слоя, пусть и не всегда раскрытого до конца.
Графика и визуал выглядят приятно и стильно, картинка цельная, без раздражающих моментов, звук нормальный, без восторгов, но и без претензий, а технически всё работает стабильно, без лагов и проблем с оптимизацией, что тоже хочется записать в плюс.
Сюжет при этом ощущается скорее средним: он не заурядный и не совсем пустой, но и за струны души не берёт, не оставляет сильного эмоционального следа, из-за чего после прохождения остаётся ощущение, что потенциал был больше, чем итоговая реализация.
Если сравнивать с Disco Elysium, то она, конечно, зашла намного сильнее и по глубине, и по подаче, и по тому, как работает с игроком на уровне эмоций и смыслов, но это сравнение, честно говоря, не совсем в пользу GameDec.
В итоге - хорошая игра со своими интересными идеями и плюшками, которую не жалко пройти и вспомнить, но без желания срочно перепроходить, и лично для себя я бы поставил ей примерно 7 из 10, с надеждой, что в будущем авторы смогут развить заложенные идеи ещё лучше.

GameDec став для мене ще одним підтвердженням, що поляки вміють робити інді-ігри)) І це не жарт!
Це емоційно, атмосферно і по-справжньому цікаво, звичайно - на мій смак.
Гра зачіпила з першої хвилини саме сетингом. Кіберпанк, ШІ, віртуальна реальність, ігри всередині ігор, майбутнє, втеча від реальності - все це загорнуто в напівнуарний детектив. Як таке може не зацікавити?
Ми граємо за геймдека (це типу детектив), який розслідує справи не у фізичному світі, а у вертуаліумі, тобто у різних віртуальних світах, куди люди тікають від занадто жорсткої, зламаної реальності.
І кожен такий світ - це не просто "рівень", а окрема історія з власними правилами, трагедіями та моральними дилемами як може здаватись спочатку.
О, про початок... На початку грати трохи важко. Лор, терміни, професії, внутрішні закони цього світу - всього багато, і в це реально треба вчитуватися, як мені здалося.
Але часу на це треба не дуже багато. З часом починаєш розуміти логіку світу, ловити спільні мотиви, персонажів, підтексти. І тоді приходить усвідомлення, що всі, на перший погляд, розрізнені історії повільно складаються в одну велику сюжетну лінію.
Сюжет загалом мені дуже зайшов. Атмосфера, музика, візуальний стиль - все працює на лор і підсилює його. Але головне тут навіть не детективна складова, а проблематика. Гра постійно ставить питання про штучний інтелект, душу, самосвідомість, відповідальність за створені цифрові світи. Де проходить межа між людиною і кодом? Чи може ШІ мати власну волю? І чи не використовуємо ми технології просто як ще один спосіб втечі від себе? Актуальне тема на момент написання цього рев'ю))

Фінал… складний. Не тому, що поганий, а тому що багато чого доведеться домислювати самостійно. Когось це може розчарувати, когось - навпаки, змусити ще довго прокручувати гру в голові. Але варто бути готовим: чітких відповідей тут не дадуть. Слайдів, як завжди буває у рпг, не очікуйте.

З мінусів також зазначу, що ближче до кінця приходить розуміння - не всі вибори реально мають серйозний вплив. У грі є свої рельси. Вони зроблені акуратно і не ламають досвід, але ілюзія повної свободи поступово зникає.

Окремо хочу відзначити DLC про Кена "7 демонів". Дуже сподобалась історія з болісно актуальною темою для людей.
Мабуть, одне з найкращих доповнень, у які я грав за останній час.

Загалом - гру рекомендую. Так, у неї є проблеми і шорсткості, але це все перекривається атмосферою, сюжетом і ідеями. Дуже приємна покупка на 2-3 вечори і гра, про яку хочеться подумати вже після фінальних титрів.

На жаль, української локалізації немає.

Good concept, promising beginning, but the game doesn't quite stick the landing. The beginning cases are interesting, and the idea of cyberpunk detectives is amazing. Unfortunately, the story becomes increasingly unclear and convoluted toward the end, making it hard to follow and stay invested.

The game is also very text-heavy, and the lack of voice acting really hurts immersion and pacing. More voiced dialogue and clearer storytelling would have gone a long way.

Worth checking out if you are into narrative-based RPGs, though you may also find the ending confusing.

Всех приветствую. А мне очень игра понравилась. Основной сюжет конечно же пришлось учится, но потом понравилось. Хорошо проработанный сюжет. Мне было интересно. Жаль и первый, и второй сюжет с Кеном не очень длинные. Я бы еще купил продолжение и не одно. Или другие истории, с другими геймдеками. )))

Extremely cool concept and decent deduction mechanics are ruined by the dullest and laziest writing I've seen in years. Gameplay is barely more interesting than watching the game's loading screens.

UPD: I've spent several days trying to play this game because in theory the plot seems rather intriguing, the art is decent even if not very original, and there are plenty of new mechanics introduced in every single mission. But I just couldn't shake off the feeling that every (and I mean EVERY) single line in this game looks like it's a temporary placeholder meant to be replaced with real text written by real writers. Unfortunately, since the game is primarily focused on dialogue, and the dialogue is by far the most underdeveloped part of it, the process is incredibly frustrating. It's not the first game I've stopped playing, but it's the first game in a long time that I don't want to ever finish. Which is a shame because on paper it looked so promising.

I'll repurchase this if they ever add options to turn off the horrific film grain filter and motion blur that ruins the iamge quality. It's horrendous, and typical of lazy developers using Unreal Engine, there are no good graphics options in the menu. Downvote, refund.

Многие отзовики жалуются, что нет оценки "что-то среднее", я к ним отношусь

Игра с высоким порогом входа, как я считаю. В плане терминов и лексики иногда прям тяжело вникнуть. Персонажи не всегда понятно изъясняются. Иногда даже складывалось впечатление, что я не в игру играю, а сижу в паблике восточных мудростей, где ну никто и никогда под страхом потери жопы не скажет прямо как есть. Иногда это в тему. Иногда нет. Тут, как по мне, нет. Возможно, конечно, это прикол локализации, не знаю

Концовка в общем и целом довольно предсказуемая, вот это повороты только в мелочах. Персонажи не раскрыты, плоские, ни одного запомнила, только разве что визуал. А, запомнила. Шута. Больше никого. Поэтому и возможная драма на основе тех или иных персов не канает, потому что ими сложно проникнуться. Сидишь такой и "дадада да ♥♥♥♥♥ давай дальше". Оттого проход сюжета превращается в выполнение чек-листа по заданиям, с минимумом включённости в сам лор (имхо)

Кто-то сравнивает Геймдек с Диско эллизиум по механике "до цели можно дойти разными путями, но дойдёшь в любом случае". И да, и нет. Дойти до дойдёшь, да только разницы никакой в этой вариативности нет. Пока не помню ни разу, чтобы за всю игру у меня возникла мысль "а что, если бы я качала вот это, то как бы я тогда прошла и что бы тогда было". Потому что в большинстве случаев вся это вариативность заканчивается на уровне "разные строчки выбора в диалоговом окне". И всё. Никакой шизы и говорящего галстука, никакого праздника

Сейчас хочу добить ачивки до 100%, потому что я ачивкодрочер. Но каждый раз это откладывается на неопределённый срок, потому что как подумаю о повторном погружении -- так сразу как будто меня дементор обсосал со всех сторон

В итоге вывод следующий: игра на один раз, перепроходить не любителям подобного сеттинга, я думаю, не захочется, только разве что терпилам и овер ачивкодрочерам. Но и настаивать, что игра плоха, не буду. Просто продукт на узкий круг потребителя

Обожаю игры, в которых нас помещают в самые разные миры в рамках одной игры (привет, Bookwalker!).
Конечно это совсем не Disco, но детективная составляющая присутствует (хотя и весьма линейная), есть какие-то выборы (на мой взгляд не очень очевидные, влияющие на концовку). Самое главное и необычное - есть игровая составляющая, когда главного героя вынуждают играть (в игре). И эти игры действительно разные.

I get it.

It’s fitting that this game was based off a series of short stories, because like a good book sometimes reads, I needed a few replays to really appreciate the game.

Yes, it is jargon-y. But after a few plays, the jargon became second nature. I found it immersive. Keeping the codec focused on excerpts of primary sources rather than straightforward definitions did make understanding things difficult… at first. But once again, by the third playthrough I was more able to appreciate the inclusion of this exposition.

There are many complaints about the ending being abrupt, which makes me wonder what is the main point of a game? The ending or the process of playing it?

After the third or fourth playthrough, or maybe after this gummy I’m on kicked in, I was really able to appreciate the world built by the story of Gamedec and all its iterations. And maybe some people are not into taking the time it would take to do that many playthroughs to fully understand it. For those people I would caution that you will have difficulty enjoying the game, but I’d also like to inform you that replays really don’t take all that long if you are a fast reader and know what you’re doing.

For people who complain that it doesn’t seem like any of their choices mattered to the game despite it being marketed as a Choices Matter game, I would say they miss the point of the story entirely. But I cannot control other people’s experiences and their enjoyment of the game. I personally really liked it.

However, I must include the fact that some of the text in the English translation still needs proofreading, especially the latter half (maybe 2/3) of the game. There were many pronoun mismatches and a few typos that needed rechecking and enough of these existed that I cannot overlook it. Because of this, for a star rating I would give Gamedec a 4/5. Without these issues, I would even give the game a 5/5. Aside from the story, I really enjoyed the art and mechanics of the game. Gamedec’s unique yet self-referential nature is everything I love about indie gaming.

Очень многие игроки сожалеют, что в Стиме есть только за и против, нет середины. Отзыв скорей нейтральный. Игра не так плоха, потенциал есть, но... Слишком много но, чтобы рекомендовать. Она немного схожа с Диско Элизиум. Тем, что у ГГ есть разный набор инструментов (характеристик), чтобы достичь цели. Правда, тут нет харизматичных, интересных персонажей, просто блёклые статисты.

О минусах:
- Нам дан раздел "дедукции", который должен разветвлять сюжет, но вы своей дедукцией можете лепить всё, что угодно, вас рельсы всё равно приведут к единственно возможной концовке. Допустим, вы надедуктировали, что убийца Васян, идёте по этому пути, а убийца оказывается Стасян, но игра всё равно приведёт вас к нему. Внимание, вопрос! Нахрена тогда эта дедукция нужна? Просто для того, чтобы игрок хоть как-то двигался по сюжету, не попадая в тупик.
- Ветки "профессий". Характеристики для развития своих талантов мы получаем вслепую. Невозможно понять, какую характеристику ты разовьёшь, ткнув ту или иную реплику. Таким образом, даже если вы решили прокачать ветку хакера, вы можете тупо не набрать нужных характеристик, чтобы её развивать, потому что не знаете, к чему приведут ваши действия. В том же Диско Элизиуме чётко показано, на что хватает ваших силёнок, и на какую характеристику будет бросок. Таким образом игра загоняет игрока в рамки жмакать хоть какие-то доступные по силам реплики, лишь бы двинуться дальше. Это уже не отыгрыш, это уже авось.
- В игре мы попадаем в игры. И хорошо, если обычными методами (убалтывания, хакерство и т.д.) возможно движение по сюжету, но можно столкнуться ещё с тем, что вам придётся сажать горох на Весёлой Ферме или долбить руду, чтобы крафтить какие-то предметы, чтобы подтолкнуть сюжет. Честно говоря, когда в какой-то жанр засовывают совершенно левые вставки для этого жанра, это меня отталкиват максимально. Дропнула этого геймдека именно на моменте, когда надо копать и ковать. Мне это совершенно не интересно, это абсолютно ненужны и скучная рутина.
- В игре иногда появляется некая "шкала" успеха с замочками. Неизвестно опять же, какие фразы и действия приведут к отпору замочков и вообще что это всё значит. Игре не хватает прозрачности. Ты просто чувствуешь себя слепым котёнком в потьмах.
- Ну и мелкие недочёты типа того, что ты выбираешь женский пол, а к тебе всё равно по умолчанию обращаются как к мужику. Ну и классика жанра - корявый перевод.

Может быть, следующая игра у разработчиков получится, а пока рекомендовать не хочется. Уж тем более за фул прайс. Хотя с щедрой скидкой можно попробовать, но только любителям жанра.

After finally beating this game after a long break, here are my thoughts.

The different options for skill tree's are rather superficial, and since their growth is tied to "unclear dialogue" you can't necessarily choose the path you would prefer without save scumming. It also means that if you wanted to "roleplay" into something, you could get totally screwed up skill tree's. This progression tied to "social responses" was really weird and honestly would have been better scrapped.

The "play" we were asked to do in each "game" was the equivalent to old facebook browser games. Rather shallow for an actual gameplay loop we are more or less forced to participate in with "menial" tasks. In fact in some cases, facebook browser games were heluva lot more fun & interactive.

The detectiving was good up and to a point, as it was possible to have all the right answers but still deliberately let the player make the wrong conclusion or even confuse them with overlapping statements that conflicted established facts. God forbid you take a break and come back to look at all the choices and not remember the actual dialogue that lead to them.

I overall really liked the concept but hated the implementation and despised the wet sock ending that was extremely rushed. The finale also takes a rather large dump on previously "stressed" notions in the game. Like you "being poor" or "broke". Even a moment where you are asked to "share a secret" lategame lost all meaning within an hour or so of gameplay.

As a few other reviews stated, it STARTED ok but finished with two broken legs and a missing femur. Options that honestly didn't feel like they had ANYTHING to do with how you played. They even felt bugged on my playthrough, saying I both "did & didn't" do something and locking me into the failsafe ending. Depending on if you "played perfectly" from the getgo, you could save scum to get all endings at once. Where is the roleplay. Where is the choice.

Ironically my thoughts on the game were far more positive before I came back to actually finish it. I can't recommend the game outside of a deep sale.

Необычная. Это что-то типа новеллы, т.к. текста в игре не мало и нужно постоянно вести диалоги, выбирать дерево диалога и дедукции. Ты "детектив-геймер" простыми словами. Через виртуальность заходишь в игры и уже в самих играх общаешься с геймерами, там же берёшь задания, выполняешь их. Прокачиваешь свои скиллы. И помогаешь игрокам. Расследуешь кибер-преступления. Занимательная игрушка вышла. Управление с помощью мыши. С такой игрой столкнулась впервые, но не пожалела. Интересный жанр, геймплей.

[b]Gamedec[/b] — это вроде бы и про киберпанк, и про расследования, и про выборы, а на деле ощущается как аккуратное линейное приключение «на разок». И это не плохо — просто надо понимать, что игра не про бесконечную вариативность, а про полудетективное путешествие по виртуальным мирам.

Главное удовольствие тут — атмосферные локации и сама идея «частного VR-детектива». Каждый мир — небольшой, но со своим вайбом: то пародия на MMO, то мрачная киберпанковая драма, то социальные эксперименты с моралью. Очень любопытно в них ковыряться.

Но, если честно, самой детективности тут мало. Ветки сюжетов стекаются примерно туда же, персонажи хоть и интересные, но не всегда успевают раскрыться, а концовка… ну, она есть. Типично киберпанковская.

Зато проходится игра приятно, без занудства. Пара вечеров — и готово, не успевает надоесть.

Как прикольный необычный сюжет в мире киберпанка данное приключение хорошо работает: свои необычные правила, жители порожденные своей эпохой. С точки зрения стилистики иногда ловишь себя на мысли "о, прикольно". В каком-то смысле даже веришь в происходящее, что что-то такое могло бы произойти в реальности.

Сюжет и выборы в нем
А иногда начинаешь жутко душниться о неочевидные зацепки, которые почему-то не заносятся в дело расследования, хотя казалось бы косвенно тебе самому очевидно, но в лоб о теории тебе не рассказали, поэтому выбирай из тупого и тупого варианта (в принципе смело можно выбирать любой, потому что любой исход будет раздражающим и не слишком влияющим на происходящим, а ближе к финалу начнешь думать господи, побыстрее б натыкать на любую из версий прохождения). И по итогу ты продолжаешь тыкаться во все углы локации не понимая, где могло что-то остаться, что убивает динамику повествования и интерес к происходящему. Вариативность вроде бы и влияет на мир, ведь ты можешь встретить человека из предыдущих отрезков истории, а по факту в конце от одной неверно интерпретированной реплики финал получается противоречащим всем твоим выборам, абсолютно тупой и пресный

Механики
Наверное, за механику здесь можно считать выбор реплик и прокачку дерева навыков в зависимости от очков полученных в диалогах? Но по итогу даже диалоги сводятся к тому, что тупо протыкиваешь все доступные выборы тем для разговоров, потому что дальше банально не продвинешься без прямо сказанного куска информации. К концу игры получается прокачать почти все дерево навыков (под конец тыкала реплики как чувствовала, так что осталась куча очков, которые банально не смогла вкачать в профессию, но если захотеть, то спокойно можно разблокировать все ветки). Так что не сказала бы, что профессии как-то влияют на отыгрыш. Так что, Джонни, я не чувствую механик и ролевой игры.

Что в итоге? Решила поиграть по обзорам, как в игру с вайбом Disco Elysium. Игра далеко от него, никакой глубины в диалогах, без философско-личностного погружения. Учитывая концовку, на героев и мир просто банально плевать и не проникаешься происходящим. Но по сравнению с некоторыми играми, где персонажи, их характеры и логика - полный шлак, это не так плохо, чтобы ставить негативный отзыв

Из позитива: любопытная история на разок, неплохая, хоть и не новая стержневая идея, вроде бы вариативность прохождения, не самый плохой для изометрии визуал.
Из неприятного: в первую очередь - цена. Всё это просто столько не стоит. Второстепенно - огрехи локализации (есть несколько непереведённых участков, в одном случае даже - в важной сюжетной реплике) и слишком уж рельсовое повествование, обесценивающее всю вариативность. Т.е., какие бы решения вы не принимали - на сюжет это ровно никак не повлияет, и вы всё равно проедетесь по заложенным рельсам.

В целом в итоге - по скидке на один раз, и забыть.

Игра норм, сюжет вполне хорош (есть пара "вот это поворотов"), я прошел 3 раза делая разные решения. Есть некоторые нудные геймплейные решения, типа фарма ресурсов или денег, но их можно скипнуть сюжетно или скилами. Концовка немного подкачала в плане ролевки, ну да ладно. Вряд ли буду уже переигрывать, так как по сути весь контент открыл, но потраченного времени не жаль.

Overall the game is kinda alright, but it got rather dull in the second half. The beginning was fun and promising. The locations looked cool, some of the worldbuilding was neat, the skill tree seemed fun. And then the lack of playtesting started to show through. Narration describing what's on screen incorrectly. Random debug lines like DO NOT TRANSLATE or gender variations. More and more conversations not following through with earlier choices or leaning on information you didn't have yet. The game started experimenting with some weird trial and error time-management mechanics.

The skill tree relies on four different "resources" you gain through conversation choices. It's really not always clear which choices reward you with which one, or when. So if you want to access the advanced skills that help with progression, the mechanic forces you to choose conversation options that might maximize your odds of getting the resources you need. This way trying to build your character conflicts with the narrative choices you might want to make in-game. Interesting concept in theory, but someone should've thought it throught at an early development stage.

I picked this up on a whim and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The story is well thought out and engaging. The art direction fits the themes and story, and the gameplay is good. This should be on any crpg fans playlist. While not the greatest thing ever made, it is well worth your time and brings a different spin to the genre.

Really loved this game, but it is absolutely a diamond in the rough. Not everything is perfect or as polished as it could be, but the gameplay is solid, the story is great and it has a lot of really fantastic ideas! If you are a fan of CRPGs and/or Sci-Fi Stories I think it is definitely worth checking out - especially at the more than reasonable sale price.

Gamedec – игра с неплохим потенциалом, которая, к сожалению, так и не смогла полностью раскрыть свои возможности. Изначально она привлекает внимание своей уникальной концепцией: вы – детектив в мире, где люди живут в виртуальных реальностях, а преступления совершаются как в реальном, так и в цифровом пространстве. Идея погружения в различные игровые миры, каждый со своими правилами и атмосферой, звучит невероятно интригующе. Однако, на практике, Gamedec оставляет после себя смешанные чувства, и вот почему я не могу с чистой совестью рекомендовать ее всем в Steam:

1) Поверхностный сюжет: Игра обещает глубокое расследование в виртуальных мирах, но почти все сюжетные линии предсказуемы, интрига растворяется уже после пары часов. Более того — прочитав синопсис, можно и вовсе угадать весь ход истории.

2) Иллюзия выбора: Хотя заявлена система дедукции и моральных решений и она даже работает, на деле выборы почти не влияют на развитие событий. Это больше линейный квест, чем RPG с последствиями.

3) Недоработанные персонажи: Герои историй и миров появляются и исчезают без развития, а сам протагонист и вовсе лишён яркой личности. Игроку не дают возможности «вложить себя» в персонажа.

4) Тональные провалы: Серьёзные темы (виртуальная зависимость, мораль в цифровом мире) соседствуют с глупыми шутками и мемными вставками. В итоге игра не ощущается ни как драма, ни как сатира.

5) Ограниченные локации и механики: Мир кажется тесным: маленькие зоны, скриптовые сцены, блокировка очевидных реплик из-за нехватки навыков. Последнее особенно сильно раздражает и ломает ощущение свободы. И, к слову, даже открытие всех навыков с самого начала игры ситуацию особо не исправляет, увы (я пробовал).

Gamedec — это красивая идея без глубокой реализации. Она может понравиться тем, кто ценит сам факт «RPG без боёвки» и атмосферу киберпанка, но большинству более-менее опытных игроков она покажется поверхностной, линейной и недоработанной. Поэтому, собственно, я её и не рекомендую: ожидания от «детектива в виртуальных мирах» у меня были слишком высоки, а результат получился пшиком — скорее интерактивная новелла с ограничениями, чем полноценная ролевая игра. Это скорее проект для энтузиастов, готовых закрыть глаза на шероховатости ради оригинальной идеи и атмосферы. A я, к сожалению, не таков...

En algún momento a lo largo del siglo XXII la sociedad ha integrado plenamente lo que los vendehúmos de hoy en día creerían que sería el metaverso y se ha vuelto tan importante que hay mucha gente que pasa más tiempo en toda suerte de mundos digitales que en el real. Virtualium llaman a los primeros, Realium a la sociedad futurista y degradada, dividida en capas que expresan hasta en lo físico la división de clases: en las zonas altas de las ciudades los ricos, en el limo, herrumbre y desechos tóxicos del subsuelo los pobres. Y en el exterior, tras el muro protector de las megaurbes, un páramo lleno de flora y fauna venenosa. Si ya el mundo actual da ganas a veces de refugiarse en una utopía digital, ¿cómo no querer en un mundo aún peor y donde la desigualdad ha aumentado? Tanto ocupa el Virtualium que con él han venido nuevas profesiones, además de exacerbarse algunas de las existentes actualmente. Una de las más sugerentes, y que da nombre al juego, es la de Gamedec. A medio camino entre el detective privado y el hacker, un gamedec se adentra en el Virtualium para resolver todo tipo de casos. Sus principales armas son el intelecto y la palabra, pero eso no significa que no pueda liarse alguna vez a puñetazos o tiros, siempre que los mundos en los que transite tengan activado el PvP.

Gamedec está basado en la obra literaria del polaco Marcin Przyby?ek (que, como con The Inquisitor, no ha sido traducida), y sorprende que, precisamente por su temática, nadie hubiera decidido adaptarla al videojuego hasta que sus paisanos de Anshar Studios decidieron hacerlo. Al fin y al cabo la propia configuración del mundo permite hacer prácticamente lo que te dé la gana con él: hay una cantidad infinita de programas en los que evadirse del Realium, por lo que uno puede estar un día en un cuento de caballeros y al siguiente pilotando una nave espacial… todo lo imaginable es programable y visitable.

Así que despertamos tras una noche de sueños extraños, nos ponemos la esperable gabardina de investigador cyberpunk, chequeamos el ordenador y comenzamos una jornada más de trabajo.

Gamedec es un RPG isométrico sin combates, algo que decidieron sus creadores tras varias iteraciones y ver que no les convencía demasiado añadir enfrentamientos, que probablemente restarían al espíritu de lo que querían contar. Todos los desafíos que encontraremos a lo largo de los distintos trabajos (que como pueden imaginar, acabarán convergiendo en la trama) tienen que ver con la investigación. Mientras exploramos el Virtualium en cada caso deberemos ir realizándonos preguntas y tomando decisiones sobre ellas mismas, lo que nos posibilita distintas acciones. Lo importante sobre todo es recabar toda la información que podamos, porque una vez completamos una deducción en el menú que tenemos no podremos cambiar la conclusión. Es ésta la que nos lleva a la siguiente parte del caso y la que nos posibilita hacer una u otra cosa: desde asumir quién puede ser el culpable hasta si alguien merece perdón. No es que genere una extensísima variación pero sí que da color a todo nuestro trayecto por el juego, además de que en algunos casos sí que sirve para cambiar algunos pedacitos de la trama y se ramifica en los siguientes casos.

La principal mecánica para reunir todas las pistas es la pura y dura conversación. En Gamedec no hay una ficha de personaje al uso, sino una serie de disposiciones que podemos usar al interactuar con otros, simbolizados por cuatro colores (rojo para ser directo o agresivo, azul para la lógica, verde para la empatía, amarillo para la innovación). Es un sistema que cuesta un poco entender y cuyo efecto real es ir acumulando puntos en cada una (por cada uso en diálogos) que luego intercambiaremos por profesiones. Cada una de ellas nos abre árboles de conversación nuevos y también nos permite distintas interacciones (por ejemplo, descubrir el código fuente de un mundo y piratearlo; o ser capaces de curar a alguien).

Es un sistema tan críptico como orgánico y me parece que funciona muy bien durante toda la aventura, aunque podamos tener dos acercamientos distintos a él. Si jugamos de manera «genuina», interpretando a nuestro personaje como sería, vamos a acumular seguramente muchos puntos en dos únicos aspectos, apenas pudiendo comprar profesiones. Y si meditamos nuestra actuación y tomamos un acercamiento más calculador, más metaficcional, podremos desbloquear muchas más, a riesgo de no conducirnos como lo haría nuestro personaje. ¿O no? Al fin y al cabo es un detective que entra en mundos virtuales, quizá precisamente lo más interpretable sea la maleabilidad y el fingir ser otra persona.

Aunque empieza de una manera tremendamente convencional, Gamedec sorprende siendo más profundo de lo que pudiera parecer. Todo el juego está plagado de comentarios sobre muchos de los temas que rodean la actualidad y el propio juego online, y es terriblemente oscuro en lo que tiene que decir. Hay lugar para alguna que otra chanza con obras que llevan años interminables en desarrollo, pero sobre todo se mete en temas espinosos y sale más o menos bien parado. Me gusta especialmente la nada sutil crítica que hace de lo que por aquí denominamos «simuladores de trabajo» y de cómo muchos de ellos pueden pervertirse hasta el extremo deviniendo en pura y dura explotación infantil. De hecho, ya que toma este camino, si algo se le puede achacar es que con algunas cosas no vaya hasta el final y sobre todo que no sea algo más imaginativo con los mundos que propone. Porque al final el querer hablar sobre ellos hace que opten por modelos claramente identificables y más convencionales. No es mala decisión, pero me hubiera encantado ver mundos digitales más estrambóticos, más pasados de rosca.

Los compases finales del juego son una sorpresa muy agradable, tanto por cómo se llega (como digo, todos los casos convergen con cierta naturalidad en el final) como por lo que quiere contarle al jugador. Gamedec acaba poniéndose profundamente filosófico al final y no parece forzado porque iba dando pistas, pero el juego es tan breve (apenas diez horas) y tan atropellada la conclusión que no queda más que preguntarse si no hubiera sido mucho mejor vehículo para esas ideas de haber contado con un poco más de extensión.

Pero miren, no es tan importante. Lo importante es que es un juego compacto, que en su brevedad mantiene frescos todos sus sistemas y que tiene una propuesta lo suficientemente interesante y atrevida como para adentrarse en él. No puede pedírsele más a una obra de este tipo.

Если бы меня попросили описать сюжет Геймдека в нескольких словах, я бы сказал так - это Матрица 4, если б она была хорошим фильмом. Даже сама по себе завязка истории уже выглядит достаточно любопытно. В более-менее привычном киберпанковом сеттинге, где большую часть времени люди предпочитают прятаться от реальности в виртуальных мирах, существует профессия геймдека - буквального игрового детектива. Чем игровой детектив занимается? Да тем же, чем и обычный, потому что львиная доля социальной и иной активности теперь приходится как раз на игровые пространства. Поэтому геймдеки берутся за любую работу, хоть найти неверную жену, которая в порноигре скачет на пиксельных xyях, хоть вычислить читера, который мешает жить нормальным пользователям. Вот за такого геймдека мы и играем. Но это лишь вершина сюжетного айсберга, потому что чем дальше в виртуальный лес, тем больше твистов наваливают.

Геймплейно Геймдек это упрощенный Диско Элизиум. Мы так же ходим по ограниченным локациям, задаем людям вопросики, интерпретируем ответики и прокачиваемся. Местная система прокачки здесь это по факту приобретение каких-либо черт личности, которые называются профессиями, а очки для их приобретения мы зарабатываем сами в ходе диалогов. Ну то есть если ты в диалоге сагрессировал как быдло eбaное, то получаешь соответстветствующие очки, что позволит приобрести более быдлячьи "профессии". Система в целом интересна и рабочая.

Вариативность на мой взгляд при этом здесь весьма уважаемая. К каждой основной задаче игра предлагает как минимум несколько путей решения, так что если ты где-то прoeбaлся и что-то пропустил, то у тебя еще останется запасной план, даже если он будет более длинным. Ну и конечно присутствуют сайды, прохождение которых опять же может дать необходимые подсказки для завершения основного квеста. Короче проработа хорошая.

Но! DLC про Кена, которое в целом не имеет отношения к основному сюжету, в этом плане проработано несколько хуже. В какой-то момент я оказался просто в сюжетном тупике - у меня не было доступных заданий, не было новых доступных диалогов или действий, я просто побегал кругами и перезагрузил игру с последнего сохранения. И с одной стороны такой сюжетный софтлок это прикольно, потому что я по сути сам где-то прoeбaлся, но с другой стороны все же игры так работать не должны. Поэтому в DLC, чтобы больше не застрять таким же образом, я безбожно сейвскамил во всех диалогах и всяких взломах, чего ни разу не делал в основной игре.

Что по итогу? Геймдек мне безумно понравился. Да, игра достаточно короткая, но весьма насыщенная и проработанная. Концовка вывела меня к 6 разным финалам, среди которых половина оказались закрытыми из-за моих предыдущих действий или бездействий. И судя по ачивкам, какие-то небольшие кусочки истории я просто пропустил, видимо опять же из-за принятых ранее решений. Так что если вы любите Диско Элизиум и подобного рода РПГ, где геймплей на 90% состоит из чтения, то Геймдек это мастхэв.

Не шедевр, но в целом неплохо.

Gamedec напомнил мне игру Detroit. Раздел "Дедукции" и древо выборов создают атмосферу настоящего расследования, где нужно не только собирать факты, но и решать, как именно их трактовать, что в теории влияет на сюжет. В моём восприятии, многие выборы всё же ведут к схожим результатам, а настоящую разницу дают решения, влияющие на мораль главного героя, способ выполнения квестов и концовку.

Например, в начале игры дают задание найти сына одного влиятельного человека. Когда собрал достаточно информации, решаешь, кто может знать о его местонахождении: местный клан или «тролли». Независимо от выбора, итог один — оказываешься в одной и той же локации, разница лишь в том, кто даст наводку.

Как я поняла, концовок в игре семь, но доступно определённое количество в зависимости от решений на протяжении всей истории. В моём случае было три, и ни одна меня не устроила. Концовка, которую я считала "хорошей", оказалась недоступной, а доступные оставили смешанные чувства. С одной стороны обидно, с другой игра смогла удивить. Тем более что "правильный" финал в моём понимании требовал поступиться моральными принципами (например, убить важного персонажа), что стало неожиданностью.

Ещё удивил момент с заимствованием идей из "Матрицы". Сначала этого не замечаешь, но потом связь становится очевидной. Это было интересно.

Если вы так же как и я решаете пройти ли игру, то вот пару контраргументов негативным коментарриям:
- Да, игра в значительной степени линейная. Но когда вы играете в первый раз (особенно в режиме детектива который не позволяет менять выборы) вы про это не узнаете.
- Несмотря на линейность существует достаточно веток развития каждого дела с разными результатами
- Я очень плохо играю в квесты. Но в этой игре идеальный баланс сложности и повествования

Если в целом идея игры вам нравится, то попробуйте. Не пожалеете

there needs to be a neutral review button. this is not in any way a bad game. the graphics are great, the music is perfect for the atmosphere, the worlds are really fun to interact in. i really want to like the game, but it just isnt for me. detective games like la noire are fine because there are other more elements to the game, but this one is like outer wilds, its detective and thats it. and there is nothing wrong with that, it just isnt the sole type of game i like to play. i wish i could give it a neutral rating honestly

The idea is original. A 'Disco Elysium' type of CPRG with an interesting premise. But the gameplay is quite boring, you often need to walk everywhere to talk to npcs you already talked and the quest solutions are not always very logical. It is not terrible, but it was not really fun.

Gamedec to przede wszystkim gra czytana – oparta na tekście, decyzjach i rozmowach. Świat przedstawiony jest intrygujący, a fabuła dobrze napisana, chodź terminologia czasem męczy, jeśli nie jest się jakimś turob fanem klimatów cyberpunkowych. Niestety grze brak pełnego dubbingu i bardziej złożonych animacji co może niektórym przeszkadzać. Jest to jednak gra indie a nie jakaś wysokobudżetowa przygodówka więc można to wybaczyć.

Gamedec reprend des codes assez bien connus du genre Cyberpunk, à cheval entre :[list][*]Un monde futuriste qu'on imagine moribond, son lot de technologies originales, sa "politique" (gangs, corpo, anarchistes...), ses thématiques (transhumanisme...).
[*]Le film noir, avec ses personnages plutôt bien caractérisés, dont notre personnage d'enquêteur, et la classique petite enquête qui finit par enfler vers quelque chose de bien plus gros.[/list]

L'originalité du monde de Gamedec est de nous plonger principalement dans le, ou plutôt les différents mondes virtuels servant de loisir, d'échappatoire ou du purgatoire pour ce qu'on imagine ine grande partie de la population.
Du monde réel, le Realium (bien joué), on en saura finalement assez peu, l'essentiel de l'intrigue gravitant dans et autour du virtuel, et ses conséquences (dont la mort) dans "la vraie vie".

Gamedec va donc, se détacher de ses codes pour aller flirter avec ceux des jeux en ligne et leurs dérives, en les traitant parfois avec humour, qu'il s'agisse des communautés, du farming, des jeux pour adultes...

Dans le gameplay, Gamedec se situerait plutôt du jeu de rôle qu'un RPG pur jus, tendant vers la visual novel : :[list][*]On se balade en vue iso, la plupart du temps dans un niveau "libre"
[*]Niveaux dans lesquels un certain nombre d'interactions/action est réalisable, mais consistant principalement à dialoguer plus qu'à fouiller ou combattre.
[*]Énormément de place est donc accordée aux dialogues (intégralement traduits), alimentant donc l'enquête, mais ou vos choix ont de réelles conséquences. [/list]

Si on peut donc en apparence y voir un cousin de Solasta, Wasteland, ou Divinity, notamment dans l'approche "artistique", Gamedec est dans les faits plus proche d'un jeu narratif.

[b]J'avoue n'avoir aucune idée de combien de chemins sont disponibles tant les embranchements sont importants, et je serai infoutu de dire exactement quels choix ont impliqué quelles conséquences.[/b]
Ce qui est à double tranchant. D'un côté, les partisans d'une rejouabilité à "l'infini", de l'autre ceux - dont je fais partie - qui apprécient l'expérience one shot, mais qui aimeraient avoir une petite rétrospective de la partie et de savoir où se situe les "noeuds" narratifs, là où l'histoire a pris une voie de non-retour, comme on retrouve à la fin de certains jeux (le studio Quantic faisant par exemple cette proposition régulièrement).

[i]Gamedec [/i]had me so excited. I love dialogue-heavy RPGs, I love cyberpunk, I love detective work—and for the first couple hours, I genuinely thought this might become a hidden gem. But as the game went on, the cracks widened, and by the time I hit the final chapters, I was just... disappointed. It has heart, great ideas, and strong presentation, but the execution just can’t keep up with the ambition. That said? I’d absolutely check out whatever this dev team makes next. The creativity is there. The writing needs polish. But the heart? It's beating under the surface.

[*]Strong start with clever, unique worlds. The early game genuinely hooked me. Investigating inside weird MMO servers? Navigating a perverted BDSM club? That’s such a cool idea, and [i]Gamedec [/i]initially leans into it hard. Each virtual world had its own tone and flavor—satire, politics, weird moral dilemmas—and I kept thinking, “wow, this could really go somewhere.” For a while, it did.

[*]Dialogue-based gameplay is refreshing. There’s no combat at all—everything is done through choices, deductions, and social manipulation. It’s ambitious, and I appreciate a game that trusts you to use your brain instead of a sword. There are real choices here, and your profession paths can open up different angles on a case, which is satisfying when it works.

[*]The worldbuilding is cool as hell. The codex entries, character bios, and lore bits scattered around are genuinely interesting. I loved the idea of digital realities spiraling out of control, and some of the flavor text felt like actual thoughtful sci-fi. Even if the game doesn’t always use it well, it’s there, and it’s good.

[*]Visuals are gorgeous. Seriously, the environments are striking—moody, sleek, detailed. From high-tech corporate plazas to buggy MMO farmlands, every zone feels distinct and alive. The art direction absolutely carries the vibe, even when the writing stumbles.

[*]The second half falls apart—hard. After a strong start, the pacing nosedives. The last few levels feel rushed, confusing, or both. There’s a poorly-explained time mechanic in the final game world that caused me to miss content completely, followed by a dull maze and a surreal, on-rails “face your trauma” sequence that just felt cliché and tacked on. The whole endgame gave me whiplash. What started as clever sci-fi devolved into a mishmash of half-baked metaphysics and loose threads.

[*] Dialogue options lock you out of others for no good reason. In most conversations, picking one response makes all the others disappear—even if there's no urgency or time pressure. This design feels punishing for no real payoff, especially in an investigation game where collecting all the info should be the point. It leads to missed clues, lost deduction points, and a sense of artificial limitation. It would’ve made sense in tense or timed scenes, but it’s everywhere.

[*]Linear structure and weak side quests. For a CRPG, this is surprisingly linear. Each "case" is a mostly closed sandbox, and the side quests mostly exist to give you more data for the main decision—not to build the world or your character. There's not much room for real exploration or alternate paths. Once you're done with a server, you're locked out, and it starts feeling more like a visual novel than a roleplaying game.

[*]The writing is… okay. There are moments of wit or insight, but overall it’s serviceable rather than exceptional. It doesn’t help that some of the deeper philosophical questions the game raises never really get explored. Characters often monologue at you rather than talk with you. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but it definitely holds it back.

[*]That final section was such a letdown. I personally hate “afterlife, face your subconscious” levels, and the ending just leaned into that hard. No more detective work, no more clever social manipulation—just symbolism, exposition, and vibes. It felt unfinished. Like the devs had big ideas but ran out of time.

This is probably the first time I'm writing a negative review, even though it's not exactly a BAD game. It did leave me with a bad aftertaste though. The premise is interesting and the setting quite unique, it was close to being good, but:

- the game is buggy. By the end it will tell you you did something, even though you took great care NOT to do it, preventing you from getting certain endings. There is even dialogue throughout that contradict your decisions.
- the dialogue is very superficial and forced, does not flow very well and seems clunkily translated. It doesn't make you care about the characters and there's too much exposition.
- the deductions are not REAL deductions, and instead are more like guesswork. There are cases where even after having discovered all clues, having investigated every corner and tried to analyze the dialogue and environments, all answers are still plausible and you still lack proper evidence to make a decision. It's definitely not as thought-out as in Golden Idol or Obra Dinn. I'm aware they are completely different games, but I still wish we could one day get an RPG with this kind of deduction - they set the bar very high.
- arbitrary puzzle solutions. The Fallen Hero scenario being the worst offender here (the drones and the pub, ugh!).
- the plot is not presented in a clear way, the writing could be improved.
- not the greatest UI. Even though the codex contains a lot of valuable information, reading it feels like a chore.

I'm still going to follow the developers and I'm curious what they do next, because the game had great potential.
