Очередной ламповый квест серии, который пролетел так же быстро, как и вторая часть. Точно так же не хватает промежуточных активностей для выполнения основного задания, ну а некоторые части локации попросту не служат ни для какой цели, мало предметов для применения в деле, да и разговор с персонажами толком ничего не даёт, вследствие чего детективный элемент отсутствует как явление, и это печальнее всего. Однако, хочется похвалить музыкальную "студию", добавляет простор для креатива, чего не было в той же первой части, где вместо этого давали математические примеры.
В общем и целом - 6/10, на уровне второй части.

I have a ton of nostalgia for this game so I came into this game fully expecting to love it and feel that sweet serotonin after giving it a whirl. After finally playing it and finishing it all these years later...yeah this was not as fun as I remember it being in my memory. It hurts my heart to be so harsh to it, but I think it deserves the critical analysis because I love several aspects of it and want to see people take inspiration and reinvent the wheel because I understand why I liked the game as a kid.
So, the positives. All the voice acting is very charming. The actors are really putting a lot of love in their respective roles and I like how they annunciate clearly. Kids would love that feature. I liked how there were save slots when you press S and the cute little sight gags that happened when you clicked around were always fun to watch. I'm glad they put in that extra effort. All the animations are nice, I like some of the missions, and the general design when it comes to color and the style of the mouse and text were all nice to see.
Onto the cons. The puzzles very much seem to follow "moon logic" and I can understand why I never completed the game as a kid. This game is really boring large in part due to its glacial pacing. So much of this game is just the characters swimming around because of how quickly different dialogue options dry up. And I know that's likely because it's an older game, but I just wish that for the port they included more options I suppose. While all the animations and pixel art are charming and fun to see, it gets old when there's only a few different locations you can visit.
Because the thief is randomized based on your playthough (which is good btw, I like how each playthrough is different because of this, but as a result) there's not much foreshadowing and the items don't always feel perfectly connected to the thief as a result. If the characters in the game had better chemistry, the dialogue and visual gags were funnier, and/or the environment felt more whimsical I'd probably like this game a lot more. But I didn't really feel like it was any of those things so I don't.
I don't know, I'm sure there are plenty of kids who would love this game, and this game is a fun problem solving one for developing minds. Tohu and Detective Grimoire might stimulate them in a similar manner however. And I especially don't feel like I can recommend this game in good faith to an adult. It's perfectly inoffensive with some cute moments, but there's not much beneath the surface :/

Don 't fart in my face and tell me it's gravy. Fredward the Fish 3rd edition is a mystery that just keeps getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weird dude. Who did it? I mean WHO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DID IT!? Right before the big holiday they made a whole game for some repugnant bubble blower took the conch and spread it's horns around the clickable areas. I've been solving this mystery since I was a smaller, fatter child, and I will keep solving it until I am a older, fatter butterfly.

The Third Fishy Adventure!

Freddi Fish and Luther are a great dynamic duo that benefit the story greatly. Animations, Artstyle, Gameplay all are very well done while having a detective style story which is myterious at first and requires a little brain work to solve that keeps it interesting and engaging. It's randomized so you'll never get the same conclusion which is great for replayability.

More puzzles that were fun to solve, more items to collect, more things to interact with and more fantastic cutscenes. It's an outstanding game that improves on both Freddi Fish 1 and 2.

A game I used to play repeatedly as a kid. I ended up buying this while it was on sale mainly for nostalgic purposes and I'm glad I did so. Perhaps I will buy the rest of the series later on and relive my childhood even more.

Another fantastic Freddi Fish game.
The artstyle got changed to be more colourful, but the gsmes don't become too low stakes tone vise, so I think it works for the series. Also I feel in this gaames specifically they out out a lot of fun "fluff" content, you shhould click on everything in ALL Freddi Fish games, but especially in this one, theatre and some music jukebox is also pretty fun to watch n listen. Only "fluff" content that was a letdown is the mini game being puoy puoy.

Althought like all of them, this one is still very easy, but still very charming, it also got a few chuckles out of me! One huge positive of 3rd and 4th games is that on top of each playthrough being slightly different due to randomized locations of main objective items, now even the end gane villain can be different each playthrough!

Get all five Freddi Fish games when they're on discount, and so long as you want relaxing, casual p&c adventure, Im sure youll enjoy it all the same :)

It is a project that combines a cozy atmosphere, memorable characters and a simple but fascinating story, perfect for both children and adults nostalgic for the old days.
The plot centers around an investigation into the theft of a sink, and Freddy, along with his friend Luther, take on the case. Despite the fact that the story is aimed at a children's audience, it is well structured, with a logical development of events and a good moral. The atmosphere of the underwater world is created with the help of bright, cartoonish graphics and friendly tone of the narration.
The game is a classic point-and-click quest. Gameplay is based on collecting items, interacting with characters and solving logical problems. The puzzles are simple enough for an adult player, but still enjoyable, especially due to the context and presentation. The main advantage is the random generation of some events and decisions: with each new playthrough, key items and action sequences change, making the game replayable. That's why I advise you to play it at least 3-4 times - you will discover something new every time.
The graphics, although from the 90s, still look charming. Characters are well animated, backgrounds are rich in details, and all elements are perfectly readable. For a kid's game:
10/10

I grew up playing this game in the early 2000's and I loved it as a kid. Humongous Entertainment is well-known for it's quality kids games that are well-made and have tasteful humor and high production values. Even for something made in 1998 it looks amazingly gorgeous and the wholesome, colorful art-style and playful characters are very fun for kids to engage with.

The world is very interactive and while it's not strictly educational, it has fun puzzles and riddles to solve that aren't too taxing for a kid but are fun and stimulating to play with. It also has some creative mini-games and optional art-making studios if your kid wants to just spend time making a silly looking character. If you're looking for a good game for your kid that is tasteful and has good tongue-in-cheek humor then you can't go wrong with the Freddy Fish series as it's one of the best early-childhood entries out there.

This is the game I spent most of my time as a kid that I loved. The dev team finally figure out what they want Freddi Fish games to be. It finally comes all together in a game with graphics that go well with the characters' designs. There's an actual mystery to solve this time around. No making traps or hunting down clue bottles to solve where to go next in this game.

The plot is finding all the golden pipes to the golden conch to free Luther's uncle who's been imprisoned for losing the conch.
Let the dog sniff the pipes then go find the thief. Only thing I hate about this would be that you don't know who it's going to be until you get to the pyramid. Would have been nice to have some misdirection towards the player about who the thief was but this game was made for small young children after all.

Funny thing about revisiting a game that you played as a kid. I kept thinking stuff was missing from the pipes in the funhouse or the organ. Apparently, I forgot that the game randomized where the pipes were every playthrough. Oops.

Do I enjoy replaying the game to get multiple endings like I did as a kid? No, I'm getting too old to get lost in nostalgia for a game that I haven't played with my childhood friend in a long time since then. But if I was a young kid then I probably would. Multiple endings and you get to choose what ending you want this time around. This is the game for young kids who enjoy playing the same game over and over again.

10/10 Narwhal Gate Cover-up.

I have a Steam Randomizer and today it told me to play Freddi Fish. I had this specific game as a demo when I was little so it was pretty cool to actually play the whole thing now since I always wanted to. Childhood win.

While it's a short story, there are plenty of extra goodies hidden throughout the game and the colorful scenery and peaceful music can make you feel as if you're actually in Hawaii! This may be the best Freddi Fish game of them all!

A childhood favorite, it plays exactly as I remember, though I didn't see a printing option built-in for the fish creator, but that's what the "print screen" keyboard button is for.

As for the game itself, I loved it as a kid and can still enjoy playing it for the nostalgia, even if the carnival matching mini game isn't very interesting for an adult. I would recommend this game to kids in the target age range (3-8) and, to a lesser extent, nostalgic adults.

В этой части, мини-игра вписана в сюжет, что делает её не такой бесполезной, как мини-игры первой и второй части.
Продолжительность сюжета несколько меньше чем была в предыдущих частях, однако появилась большая вариативность, потому вариантов прохождения стало куда больше.

Well, if it isn't my favorite childhood game! I am very pleased to play it again after all these years 😍 I can say it stood the test of time for me. Although it might look a bit outdated I think the amount of interactiveness is pretty impressive as you can click on pretty much everything on the screen and get some kind of response. It's a kind game for the little ones which has small amount of cheeky jokes. Also, it can be played on Steam deck despite it being marked as unsupported, you just need to remap hotkeys for saving and loading. The game is point-and-click so you simply can play using Steam deck's touchscreen. I highly recommend 💓

I have the haunting memory of owning this game as a CD when I was a kid and playing it with my older sister all the time. We could never beat it.
