It's alright.
It looks and runs well, but the story feeling is... unfinished? The comic-ish vibe comes across as cheap or bland, because the presentation is missing *something*. Maybe the music or sound just doesn't slap hard enough..

That said, it's fun. Buy on sale and play with some friends.
The game becomes a lot more playable once you've unlocked and upgraded everything.

Honestly i don't fully get it, people seem to be rating it poorly cuz its not the original game, but its still a very fun game.
I get it I played the original and I thought "wow this is similar but its different" but after playing it i honestly still really like it, so i'm not sure why people find it a negative experience just cuz its not identical to the first. figured i got it on sale the least i can do is give it a review when they are mixed.

An unfinished game that is so good that its still worth playing.

The developers have made 70-80% of this game, released it and never looked back. Its has random voiceline shoutouts during conversation text between characters instead of voiceover, it has a single DLC and no other content. There are some bugs with enemies and characters, that could have been polished out.

But the gameplay... the worldbuilding... they are amazing.
The Hub called ''Saloon'' even has a performer stage with music that changes slightly from time to time, and Songs seems specialy writen for this game. The attention to detail is amazing, and the gameplay is fun.

[h3]Gameplay[/h3]
Endless Dungeon combines a few gameplay loops together and does so mostly good. Its a roguelite dungeon crawl where you open room after room, looking for resources and fighting enemy spawners. After reaching the end of a zone, you go to the next. And there are 4 levels for each playthrough, with a total of 10 floors that you can play through. From workshop and metal, to greenhouse style floors. Each with some story elements to them, and some with themed bosses.
[b]Combat[/b] is a combination of turret defence with set (random gen) locations for turret placement, and a rock-paper-sciscors damage type. And ''hero's'' that you control top down, able to swap between them with up to 2 guns and an passive/active/ultimate ability each. This lets you choose if you want to focus more on the turrets in a run, or your characters in combat but you will always need both to atleast some regard.
[b]Resource Management[/b] is done clever but also somewhat restrictive, you get resources mainly from opening doors to new rooms. This means that this gameplay element can get a bit repetitive over time, since you wont have other ways to get resources during a run. Resources are used for researching turrets, building turrets, upgrading characters and buying weapons and items. This part is done extremely well, even the character levels give you a choice between 3 random upgrade cards along side the base ability increases.
Turrets are upgraded once each if they have seen enough combat, and beond that through research up to level 3.
Some turrets get more range, making them viable later down a run.

[h3]Replayability[/h3]
Is mostly done through having multiple floors and maps being random generated. Beond that you can also unlock upgrades for characters, and unlock aditional characters. This is a little grindy, but atleast they also added story elements to each character.
However a lot of the map generation is predictable, and goals and events are often the same resulting is some repetitive gameplay here and there. There are not many random events that can pop up, and bosses for floors stay the same each time.

[h3]Conclusion[/h3]
I highly recommend Endless Dungeon, even with it feeling a little unfinished. The content that is here is very much worth it, and with some creativity you can make runs feel more unique and get even more replay vallue out of it.

Overall solid-ish.

Handgun vs Heavygun Characters:
- In co-op you will hate it being the handgun character to support your friends, as your damage is too low
- Heavygun is the only real option for deiling with large dot enemys
- Handgun characaters don't outshine Heavy Gun Characters with what they bring to the table.

Character Balance:
- I fee like 4 Characters are top, while the rest are at bad or at best mediocre

Meta upgrade:
- They general meta upgrades and the few crystal bot upgrades feel usefull, but not strong
- Character and weapon upgrades seem mediocre at best

In round upgrades:
- Some realy nice powerups, make you feel extremly strong at times
- Too many filler upgrades making rerolling a must

Tower Options:
- 6-7 towers are important, the rest i would love to remove or mod out of the game due to the lack of usefullness

Enemys:
- Shades are a bit too tanky
- Blobs are annoying with their multiplcation and directional damage mitigation
- Melee Heavy Dot Bot is a buttlet sponge
- Insects are fine
So not bad as enemy designs, they should have annoying stuff to them to feel meaninfgull.

Bosses:
- They are ok, if their AOE pattern actually appears they can be fun to dodge
- Minimal Movement, Skills and no randomness, as such making for little to no fun repeatative kills

Gameplay:
- Once you see the pattern on where Resource nodes appear, you follow that
- RNG dictates a lot
- Characters need to activly defend spawn locations or generator
- You pick the least damaging negative effect and go do that run
- If specific negaive effects need to be picked your run is over
- If you reach the core with 70+ industry you have won unless you ♥♥♥♥ around
- Shooting feels impactfull

Sound Design:
- Realy good, weapons sound nice and the voice characters are realy well done

Graphics:
- Good, if you see this review you can also watch the gameplay video in the storepage, it's good

Endless?:
- No endless mode

A couple of annoying bugs:
- Desync in Co-Op
- Stuck Crystalbot
- Teleporting Enemies (not the shade teleporting to you but actually skipping rooms)
- Doesn't want to close
- Game Stuck after every return to the salon in co-op
- Graphics Glichting out, removing textures or objects or starting a sudden rave
- AOE Markers not appearing leading to people dying due to not seen Aoes
- Resource Generator Selection sometimes doesn't pick industry as we wanted, happened 3 times to two people over the course of 11+ hours.

Honestly a big let down after having invested a good bit of time in the first game in the past, shame it's also pretty much dead.

Way different then the first game, not particularly all a bad thing.. though, keep that in mind.

I personally wouldn't bother buying this as it stands.

The good: Visuals are amazing, music is outstanding, gameplay before you figure out how to always win is tense and strategic, and even after you figure the winning formula out there is specifically one boss that still can wipe the floor with you. If you are into the endless series, lore reveals and callbacks are dope.
The bad: roguelike elements dont have enough variety to make it a staple of roguelikes, no mod support further crippling any lasting legacy this game could have. Multiplier does not feel amazing, with resources being shared turning each decission into an emergency meeting, which gets old.

- 1편을 재밌게 했던 사람으로서, 로비가 생겼고 세계관을 느낄 수 있는 요소 추가가 많아 너무 좋음.
- 전작에선 테슬라 타워 4렙만 썼는데. 적 등장에 따라 여러 타워를 써야하는 건 좋은 거 같음. 아직까진..
- 보스전이 등장한 건 좋았음. 깜짝 놀랐다.

단점 :
- 전작의 시스템에서 진보한 것이 없음. 업그레이드 요소가 여전히 영웅, 건물에만 적용됨. 새로운 걸 기대했는데...
- 전작에는 상인한테 판매도 가능했던 거 같은데 구매만 가능한 거 실화인가.
- 뷰가 바뀌면서 전작에 비해 좀 더 현장감이 생겼는데 정작 현장에는 게임 진행하면서 점진적 변화가 느껴지지 않았음.
- 시프트 누르면 뛸 수 있게 만들어 주지 맵 뛰어다니는 거 너무 지루함. 작은 애들 다른 방 이동 찍어놓고 퀵메뉴로 건물 관리해서 쉴틈이 없었는데 여기선 그런게 없음.
- 구르기나 대쉬도 없는데 무빙으로 피하는 패턴은 왜 넣은 거야.
- 맵을 직접 뛰어다니는 시간이 길어졌는데, 타워 업그레이드하고 몬스터가 떨어트린거 줍는거 너무 귀찮고 재미없음.
- 초반 스위퍼가 너무 매력이 없음. 솔직히, 못생김. 인트로에서 의도적으로 엉뚱한 사람이 영웅이 된다고 하는 메시지는 공감함. 그런데 청소부는 혁신적으로 못생긴 거 같음.
- 진짜 초반에 스위퍼 계속 봐야되는데 볼 때 마다 화남. 벙커랑 카티는 디자인 좋은데. 제일 먼저 만나는 영웅을 진짜 스위퍼로 왜 선택한 것이지.
- 스킬 쓰는 게 너무 불편함. 굳이 꾹 눌러서 쓰게 만든 이유를 모르겠음. 적이 몰려오고 급박한 상황 속에 침착하게 꾹 눌러쓰는게 더 재밌다고 생각했다면 할 말은 없음.
- 이동 불가능한 환경이 있으면 탭 눌러서 나오는 지도에도 적용을 해줘야 하는 거 아니냐. 탭 지도 보면서 이동하다가 장애물에 자꾸 걸리는 데 화남.
- 맵에 떨어져있는 아이템 위치 알려주면 좋겠음. 진짜 편의성이라곤 조금도 없음.
- 더스트 졸라 중요한 재화인데 통 부셔서 나오니까 맵 돌아다니면서 통이나 찾고 있는게 별로 재미없음. 당연히 도전적인 보스 잡아야 나와야 하는 재화아닌가.
- 통 부셔서 재화 먹는 것보다 몬스터 잡아서 먹는게 더 기분 좋음. 근데 타워가 죽인 몬스터가 떨군 재료 줏으러 가는 건 귀찮음. 업글해서 자동으로 먹기 가능했음 좋겠다.
- 1편에는 방에 노드 몇개 있는지 맵에 표시해줬던 거 같은데 없어져서 불편함. 어떤 방을 전략적으로 이용해야 할 지 중요한 요소인데 왜 없앤 것이지?
- 1편도 그렇긴 했는데 한 판 할 때마다 뭐가 더 나아진다는 피드백을 못 받겠음.
- 게임 도중 나오는 업그레이드 요소 수치가 너무 느리게 상승함. 그래서 업그레이드 피드백이 약함. 문 10개 열어서 식량 40개 모으는 게 힘든 일인데 공격력 15% 얻는 업글이 보상인게 수지타산이 안맞다. 애초에 한 층에 방 개수가 정해져있어서 한 층당 업글 기회가 1~2회 밖에 안되는데 꼴랑 15%오르는 업글보면 힘빠진다.
- 1편에서도 문제였는데 각 몬스터 웨이브의 위협수준을 알 수가 없어서 어느 정도로 준비해야하는지 파악이 어려움. 위협수준레벨 1~100 이런식으로 표현해서 내 수준이랑 웨이브 수준이랑 비교를 할 수 있던가 해야할 듯. 이거는 진입장벽임. 웨이브를 전략적으로 막는 게 재미있는 건데 정보가 너무 주어지지 않음.
- 1편 좋아해서 200시간 넘게 했는데... 실망이다.

I put around 80 hours into the first game. I'm at 46 hours on this game and pretty sure this is it for me. I originally did not know why the negative reviews, but once I hit 20 hours, I started to get the complaints. The Tower Defense aspect is nothing like the original. I used to be able to secure an area with towers, but now they only serve as a supplement for my hero's. This game has a limited number of levels compared to the original. I keep beating the game and it got boring pretty fast (40 hours).
I'm bored of the levels now and I still need to unlock 2 more heroes and still have several upgrades for my current heroes not available yet, but I'm tired of the game already (I'm just playing the same levels over and over again. I put 80 hours into the original and still don't feel bored of the game.

The graphics were upgraded in a major way and I love how I have so much control over the heroes, but I find myself missing the tower defense and the large amount of levels in the original. I wish they would have double downed on the tower defense aspect of the game. I think the bosses were a cool new idea, but gets boring after the 6 or 8th time beating them.

I paid something like $7 for the game, so i don't feel cheated, but if I paid full price, I would have probably gave this game a thumbs down. It feels like a spin off of the original rather then a part 2.

First 20 hours was a lot of fun personally. 30 to 40 hours the game started showing it's faults. 46 hours I got bored and uninstalling.

TL;DR: This is a game with mixed reviews, not because it isn't fun, but because it's not what people expected. Endless Dungeon is an enjoyable top-down, twin-stick shooter roguelike set in Amplitude's Endless universe. What it is NOT is a proper sequel to the much beloved Dungeon of the Endless - and that is ok. For a sale price of $7.50, I think you'll have a good time as long as you don't hate the genre or think you're getting DotE 2.

What I like:
--The core gameplay loop is addicting. You start each level in a room with a crystal that needs protecting, and several doors. Each door you open can lead to something useful, or a monster nest that periodically sends enemies your way. If it's monsters, you now need to use your characters and defense towers to keep those monsters from destroying the crystal for the rest of that level. As you keep opening doors, you end up with a maze of hallways and several decisions. Where's the best choke point? Does opening another door open a new path for enemies? Do I even risk opening more doors? Eventually, you need to move the crystal, which can usually get tense. Making it through a level always feels satisfying, whether you planned well or just barely made it. Boss fights and random events are included throughout to keep you on your toes.

--In usual fashion, Amplitude slaps an excellent soundtrack on their game (protect Arnaud Roy at all costs)

--In true roguelike fashion, losing on your first run is inevitable. However, you can use scrap and other items you collect along the way to upgrade, unlock new paths, and buy items to help you on your way. You'll unlock new characters during your first few runs, and each character has a set of side-quests you can aim to complete. You can also add additional challenges to your run that will make you rethink your strategies for a chance at more loot. All in all, you get a few ways to spice things up and feeling of progression after each run.

What I'm neutral on:
--Visually, Endless Dungeon succeeds at being both colorful as well as dark and shadowy. The art for the playable characters is more comic/cartoon-like than any of Amplitude's previous games, which I think may turn off fans who are used to a more realistic style.

--The characters in this game have personality - but not always in a good way. Some can be endearing, while others can feel annoying or juvenile.

What is disappointing:
--The game aimed for a more humorous, slapstick vibe with character dialogue that is often a miss and really out of sync with the rest of the games in the Endless universe. Sure, Dungeon of the Endless had some silliness, but it was much less in-your-face and didn't involve voice actors (thankfully, you can reduce dialogue volume to 0). It feels like Endless Dungeon made an effort to appeal to a younger or more general audience, and it simply was not the right move given what came before it.

--The game is unlikely to receive future updates, which is a shame, as there are still some occasional bugs and quality of life items that need addressed (e.g. some waves with no enemies, 1-2 weapons that AI don't use correctly, AI not using ultimate skills or repairing defense towers).

At the end of the day, this game deserves a recommend despite its flaws. There's a lot to enjoy here, especially if you're willing to look past some questionable style choices. Thankfully, Amplitude became an independent studio after this game launched. If you're listening, Amplitude (and I know you often are), I hope you take another run at Dungeon of the Endless 2! You have what it takes to make a proper sequel.

Es fehlen Elemente der UI und Tooltips, viele Menüs sind unvollständig oder unintuitiv gestaltet. Wenn man erstmal weis das man mit Hold Space und "Bot soll folgen" den Bot aus Stuck Positionen befreien kann dann ist es n Top game. Im ernst: das Spiel ist ein derart rundes und knackiges Ding das ich es echt schade finde das es nicht mehr davon gibt. Bitte Devs - ICH WILL MEHR! xD

This game commits the cardinal roguelike sin - repeated runs aren't interesting. The floors and enemies always look and feel the same regardless of route chosen. Character buffs in-run barely change anything. The rock paper scissors damage system makes your turret choices for you.

Even worse the game expects you to replay it numerous times just to unlock all the characters and their upgrade slots.

Characters require finding keys that are not guaranteed to drop every run (UGH) then playing again to visit the newly unlocked area. Upgrade slots require finishing 1 quest per run x 4 per character.

Since each run takes 2-4 hours (30-60 minutes per floor times 4 floors) the time investment just to unlock all the characters is insane, much less upgrade them.

And then there's the bafflingly bad collision detection system. Characters body block and push each other around in a huge radius. Characters constantly get stuck on corners and are unable to fit through visible gaps between objects.

All of this is a real bummer because the game's mechanics are fun: building turrets, fighting waves, planning your route, the boss fights. Unfortunately it all gets stale real fast without anything to change things up.

Maybe if you could get actual interesting in-run upgrades, maybe if you weren't forced to choose turrets purely based on damage type, maybe if anything at all felt different from run to run... maybe this could have been a good game.

Unfortunately it has none of that at all.

Je ne savais pas trop à quoi m’attendre en achetant et en lançant Endless Dungeon, mais je me suis vite rendu compte que j’allais passer pas mal de temps coincé dans cette station spatiale.
La première chose qui saute aux yeux, c’est la direction artistique. Le jeu a vraiment une patte graphique à lui, un style très marqué qui donne beaucoup de personnalité à l’univers. Mais là où j’ai vraiment été cueilli, c’est par la bande-son. Elle est juste incroyable. Et surtout, dans le hub, si vous vous approchez de la scène, vous avez droit à un petit concert avec Free Again chantée par Lera Lynn. Franchement, ce moment est magique. La musique colle parfaitement avec l’ambiance mélancolique et rebelle du jeu. Je me suis retrouvé à rester devant la scène juste pour écouter avant de retourner me battre contre des hordes d'insectes, robots et extra-terrestres.
Les personnages que l'on peut incarner sont aussi super réussis d'un point de vue global. Le casting est complètement barré dans la mesure où on peut jouer un simple employé de maintenance qui utilisera son balais pour faire tomber les adversaires, un insecte obsédé par sa vengeance, ou encore un robot communiste qui adore poser des tourelles. Oui, vraiment. Et c’est ça qui est cool, chaque personnage a sa personnalité, ses compétences passives, actives et ultimes, et peut équiper deux armes (légères ou lourdes). Du coup, quand on joue avec des amis, on peut créer des compositions d’équipe assez satisfaisantes et équilibrés.

Pour son gameplay, le jeu mélange dungeon crawler, tower defense et rogue-lite, et ça marche étonnamment bien. Les étages sont générés procéduralement, les coffres aussi et proposent des augmentatiosn ainsi que des armes… donc on ne sait jamais vraiment sur quoi on va tomber.
Le cœur du gameplay reste de protéger le cristal tout en traversant la station. Pour ça, il faut réfléchir un minimum. "Je fais quoi purée, je place une tourelle ici ?!" "Hey les gars, venez on ouvre cette porte non ?!" car il faut placer les tourelles intelligemment, gérer les vagues d’ennemis et anticiper les chemins. En parlant de ça, Il y a pas mal de types de tourelles différentes, entre les tasers, les lance-flammes ou les générateurs de barils explosifs, et certaines situations deviennent rapidement chaotique selon les tourelles choisies et améliorées.
Le jeu devient encore plus intéressant avec la gestion des ressources, surtout en multi. À chaque porte ouverte, on génère trois types de ressources, mais le problème c’est qu’elles permettent souvent d’améliorer seulement un personnage ou de placer une seule tourelle. Du coup, ça discute, ça négocie, ça vole parfois des ressources à ses collègues… bref, on sent clairement que le jeu a été pensé pour être joué à trois. C’est possible en solo, mais il faut aimer la micro-gestion des alliés .
Un autre aspect très sympa, c’est l’exploration de la map. Au début d’une zone, on découvre progressivement les salles et on doit imaginer le chemin que le cristal devra emprunter pour rejoindre la sortie. Ça crée plein de petits dilemmes stratégiques à savoir ouvrir une porte maintenant pour récupérer des ressources au risque d’ouvrir un nouveau front, ou jouer la sécurité et avancer prudemment.
Une fois le jeu terminé, on débloque aussi un système assez drôle représenté par les cocktails. L’idée est simple, mais ça change complètement la manière de jouer une run. Chaque cocktail modifie les règles du jeu, parfois de façon assez absurde. Par exemple, tu peux te retrouver dans une run où tes armes deviennent presque inutiles, mais où tes coups en mêlée font des dégâts monstrueux. De fait, toute la stratégie change, il faut adapter son personnage, sa façon de jouer et même la manière de se placer pendant les combats. C’est souvent un peu chaotique, parfois ridicule, mais surtout très fun. Ça rajoute une bonne couche de défi et ça donne une excellente excuse pour relancer encore une run.

Tout n’est pas parfait pour autant. L’équilibrage est parfois un peu bancal et il y a encore quelques bugs, notamment autour des coups critiques qui ne semblent pas toujours fonctionner correctement. Le jeu est aussi relativement court, même si le côté rogue-lite donne quand même envie de relancer des runs, surtout avec des amis.
Et puis il y a l’univers. L’histoire est vraiment intrigante, avec plein de petites touches de lore disséminées un peu partout. On sent qu’il y a quelque chose de plus grand derrière tout ça… et c’est presque frustrant de ne pas en voir davantage.

Au final, Endless Dungeon est un jeu vraiment fun, avec une excellente ambiance, une bande-son mémorable et un gameplay coopératif très efficace. Pas parfait, mais clairement le genre de jeu qui devient encore meilleur quand on y joue avec des potes… et qu’on accepte de mourir pour la centième fois en protégeant ce foutu cristal pour avoir le droit d'écouter à nouveau la voix angélique de Lera Lynn.

This game is extremely unfaithful to it's predecessor. All the game designs and concepts? Gone. All the characters? Gone. It feels like the devs decided that "Hey, no one ACTUALLY gave a ♥♥♥♥ about Dungeon of the Endless, let's just take the name and premise and throw away everything else." I'm a little heartbroken about this, because me and my friends adored the first game and were really excited for this. Huge letdown.

Ніколи до цієї гри не грала в подібний жанр з хаотичним випадінням зброї на рівнях, прокачки та покращення веж. Оскільки мені подобається всесвіт Endless і багато їхніх ігор дістались мені по смачним знижкам, я вирішила спробувати опанувати цю гру. На нижчих рівнях і високих складностях вороги сильно душать, але сам процес мені здався таким простеньким і приємним. Рада була бачити знайомі раси з інших ігор цієї студії (дракен з першої Legens, краверс з Space).
Рекомендую брати при гарних знижках, щоб не бути сильно розчарованим.

I wish there was a "neutral" option. It's not bad, but it's really not great either. A single run, taken by itself, can be fun. But it's just too repetitive, and things don't unlock fast enough. Still, if you don't mind that, there is some fun to be had.

Zu Anfang ist das Spiel recht schwer bis nach ein paar Runden genug Verbesserungen und Startboni freigeschaltet sind. Die Endbosse sind dann Trotzdem noch sehr fordernd.
Einzige was ich nicht so gut gelöst finde, es ist im Dungeon nicht möglich das Spiel zu speichern.
Mann muss mit ESC ins Menü und extra sterben und den aktuellen Versuch beenden, ein späteres weitermachen an der Stelle ist nicht möglich. Also bei RL = PC laufen lassen oder den Versuch beenden und dann wieder von ganz vorne starten. Ist als solches ein kurzweiliges Spiel im Universum der ENDLESS beidem der Weg das Ziel und das Ende zu erreichen eher Zweitrangig ist.

뽑자마자 다렉갤에 매일같이 판매글을 올렸지만 팔리질 않아서 눈물을 머금고 어쩔 수 없이 코드 활성화 후 등록하고 나서 그냥 묵혀둠

'그래서 뭐 어쩌라고 좆도 안 궁금한 니 사정 알빠노?'란 글을 서두부터 장황하게 쓴 이유는 이 겜이 딱히 리뷰할 게 없기 때문임

디펜스 요소를 넣었지만 결국 핵앤슬 특유의 단순한 플레이, 매력 없는 캐릭터들, 꼴랑 3개의 스테이지 무한 뺑뺑이 등 망할 수 밖에 없는 조건만 갖추고 나온 겜이라

게임으로서 대부분의 인디겜마냥 개창렬한 겜은 아닌 구색은 갖췄는데 그게 끝임

정가 16800원짜리를 2만원에 산 게 억울해 리뷰 평가 긍정적 달성 기원하는 의미 및 누군가가 긍정적 지표만 보고 낚여 사길 바라며 개추 박고 갑니다

I don't understand the bad review of this game.
I have play the game as the definitive edition with more than 30 hour of gameplay and its really a great game with lots of replay ability.
Maybe when it was in early access there were problems but as of now its really fun and better than the first game "Dungeon of the endless".
Multiple player choice for the avatar each with their different skill and story. Multiple story knowledge to be found and improvement for each player.

とりあえずノーマルでクリア。
セールなら別におすすめでもいいかなと思う。

一番良かったところは日本語ボイスついてたこと。ちょっとテンション上がった。
他はまあ微妙寄りのツインスティックシューターだけどそこそこ遊べたことぐらいかな。

悪いところは全体的にボリューム感や戦略性や爽快感がないところ。
リソースが潤沢じゃないからあんまり好きにタレットを置けない。その代わり敵もワラワラという感じでもない。そのあたりのバランスがゲームとして薄味になってしまっている要因だと思う。
タレットスロットはいっぱいあるけどそんなとこに置かねーよというところにもいっぱいあるから、どうしても適当に作ってるなと言う印象になってしまう。
ソロ用に時間停止かスローぐらい欲しかった。マップ確認とか操作キャラ切り替えや他キャラへの指示とかそれぐらい時間止めてさせてくれよと思った。マルチならしょうがないけど。

正直薄味でめちゃくちゃ面白いということはない。セールでさらっと遊んでまあこんなもんかで満足する程度の面白さかなと。そのあたりの個人的なハードルと実際の感想と値段がそれなりに近くまとまったからいいやおすすめで。

Интересная динамичная игра с приятной стилизованной графикой. Гибрид Tower Defence и твин стик шутера в формате роглайк. Можно играть в коопе по идее, я прошёл всё в одного. Играть было интересно и залипательно, хотелось пройти до конца и выполнить челледжи. В плюсы бы занёс саундтрек, особенно треки со словами, оч хорошо сделано.
В небольшой минус бы занёс малое количество боссов, всего 3 на выбор в каждом прохождении и 2 (1) финальный. Есть метовые башенки, а есть которые вообще юзлес.
Геймплейно все герои играются любопытно и выбирать на рандомных картах стратегию, чтобы выиграть всегда было интересно. Очень понравился дизайн локаций и хабов. Атмофсерно.
Серьёзные минусы, из-за которых игра, как мне кажется и провалилась:
1. Позиционирование как ремейк Dungeon of Endless, чем она не является, скорее так, размышление на тему. Не думаю, что у той игры были орды фанатов, но выпуская эту, разрабы наслали на себя гневные отзывы фэнов первой части, с такой рекламой.
2. Сюжет, meh... Я читал все записки, со всем болтал... Скукотища ни о чём. И ооочень жидко, то есть прям одна мылся размазана на 10 часов гейплея за героя.
3. Герои, потом успех с дизайном персонажей повторит злополучный Конкорд. Но уже здесь видно наработки профессионалов, в виде огромных шарообразных тётенек с миниганом и мужиками поломойщиками с тряпкой, нет это не шутка. (ето прогресс, это понимать надо)
Видимо разрабы расчитывали на успех игры и много апдейтов по контенту после, но не вышло не фортануло. Но в целом залипнуть на пару десятков часов фанатам TD можно.
P.s. плохо работают клаудсейвы, хотя они есть, но надо настраивать.

Звездолётчики сталкиваются в космосе с непонятным огромным объектом и совершают на нём аварийную посадку. Как оказалось, это не единственный такой случай и здесь собралось много выживших после аналогичных случаев бедолаг. Дело за малым — разобраться, что это за место и как из него сбежать.

[h1] ГЕЙМПЛЕЙ [/h1]
Игровой процесс представляет собой смесь ARPG и Tower Defence

Есть хаб, где тусят выжившие. Отсюда отправляемся на миссии и здесь же происходит прокачка героев и их оружия.

Станции улучшений открываются не сразу, а по мере набора специальных ресурсов и выполнения индивидуальных квестов героев.

Персонажи отправляются в боевые забеги с единственной целью — получше изучить станцию. Для этого нам надо провести специального ремонтного бота из условной точки А в условную точку Б. Забег идёт через цепочку данжей. Также иногда бота придётся проводить в нужные вспомогательные точки маршрута.

Данжи всегда состоят из рандомно генерируемого набора комнаток. В них могут быть станции для добычи ресурсов и прочие полезности, а могут быть логова монстров. Логова уничтожить невозможно, поэтому раз в некоторое время они порождают волны врагов.

Так как баз монстров много и данжи относительно большие/разветвлённые, то приходится планировать оборону нашего ремонтного бота во время каждой волны. Атаки идут с разных сторон, как правило, особенно на поздних этапах забега. Также враги всегда атакуют во время передвижения бота. Если бот помер, то миссия завершается неудачей. Впрочем, ресурсы для прокачки нам выдают в любом случае. Это даёт смысл каждому забегу.

Важнейшая механика игры — почти в любой комнате данжа мы можем расставлять автоматические турели разных видов. Есть локации, где защитные здания поставить нельзя по умолчанию, но за особый ресурс всё-таки можно.

В начале забега нам всегда дают возможность ставить самую простую турель. На специальных станциях в данже открываем новые башни. Делать это придётся каждый новый забег.

Установка и развитие башен требуют особых ресурсов, которые также собираем в забеге. За них же и временно усиливаются персонажи.

Наши герои тоже не статисты, а активно дерутся с монстряками. Одним управляет игрок, а вторым и третьим (после соответствующей прокачки на базе их станет в отряде три) ИИ. Персонажи умеют палить из своих пушек и кастовать скиллы, индивидуальные для каждого героя.

По сути, всё сводится к тому, чтоб расположить удачно защитные башни и ловко подраться героями во время провода бота в нужные точки локаций.

Рассмотрим плюсы и минусы игры, подведем итоги.

😐 Забеги, как по мне, очень затянуты. Спокойно можно пробегать часа полтора, а то и два. Я смог полностью завершить один и за это время просто запарился. Хотя сам процесс и интересен. Просто хотелось бы более быстро награды получать после миссий.
😐 Система глобальной прогрессии вроде и неплоха. Но из-за общей затянутости геймплея кажется слабой. Очень медленно получаем усиления.

❌ Из-за волнообразно повторяющегося, одинакового и затянутого содержания геймплея игра притомляет.

[h1] ВЫВОДЫ [/h1]
Хорошая игра, если смотреть по отдельным аспектам. Драки бодрые, есть башенная Защита (любимый жанр). На практике я запарился во время первого же забега. Второй даже не хочется начинать, т.к. придётся безостановочно лупить ещё пару часов этих монстров для открытия чего-то небольшого на базе.

Neredeyse hiç beğenmediğim bir oyun oldu. Hiç oynayacağımı zannetmiyorum.

Karakterlerin uyumu kötü, işlenme sistemleri hem tasarım olarak hem oynanış bakımından veya pratik olarak kötü. Kontrollerini beğenmedim. Oynanış şeması çok sıradan, mobil oyun havası veriyor.

Çeşitli yapılarda zindanlara ana üssünüzden birkaç karakterinizle ışınlanıyorsunuz (karakter sayısı çok çok kısıtlı) ve Endless evreninden bildiğimiz simgelerle bilim, gıda ve endüstri jeneratörlerini ve onları koruyacak taretler inşa ede ede haritayı açıyorsunuz. Üzerinize dalga dalga düşmanlar geliyor. Evrenini pek yansıttığını düşünmüyorum. İkonlar, simgeler ve çizim sistemi belki kabul edilebilir ancak karakterlerini ve onların tarzlarını hiç beğenmedim. Günümüz süperkahraman filmlerindeki gibi bir züppe, yavşak, böyle kendilerine okkalı bir tokat savurmamı istetecek tavırları var. Herhangi bir düzgün ilerleyen hikayesi yok ve daha çok bu anlattığım sistemi sürekli tekrar tekrar tekrarlamaya yönelik otistik simülasyonu gibi bir oyun diyebiliriz.

Первая игра была пиксельной эта 3д тут дело вкуса кому как, но то что создатели заменили великую музыку на жалкое попёрдывание это мерзко. В первой не было озвучки и лучше бы не было и в этой, эти отвратительные восклики невпопад ужасны. Все игры амплютьюд чей я большой фанат особенно серии спейс отличилась невероятной эстетикой и неповторимыми оригинальными идеями и подходом к созданию образов в этой же игре бинго из тупых клише и невероятно нищенски смотрящиеся комиксы с озвучкой мее -бее на симлише и эти бесконечные попапы с паузой текстовым обучением игре нафиг не нужны. Те кто делал эту часть данжена совершенно не поняли как и зачем продолжать серию и просто сделали студийный кал для дойки фрашизы, такое же ощущение у меня было во втором Ледженде.

Поиграл еще 5 часов, единственное чувство которое возникает от этой игры - выпустите меня. Тут не очень всё кроме анимации эффектов, тот кто рисовал выстрелы и взрывы - молодцом.

Pero es bueno para pasar un buen rato con amigos o lo que sea, obviamente no es un AAA, pero no es un mal juego, es hermoso visualmente, tiene buen rendimiento, buena optimización, nunca me falló. Recomendado si quieres un juego que te provoque estar un poco en el borde de la silla pero sin tener que matarte para poder pasar los niveles.

Брал с ОЧЕНЬ большим скепсисом и морально был готов к рефанду. Но по итогу не понял за что НАСТОЛЬКО занижен рейтинг, со скидкой точно можно взять. Если обнаружу какие-то серьёзные недостатки - дополню отзыв.

В других отзывах ругают что мол хуже чем Dungeon of the Endless, но я не вижу где бы разработчики заявляли что это сиквел DotE. Да, у них общая концепция, но геймплей различается.
Dungeon of the Endless это достаточно хардкорный тавер дефенс, а Endless Dungeon - твин-стик шутер со строительством и сюжетом. Что, честно говоря, мне пока нравится даже больше "предшественника".

Game started out decent but when co-op hit and one friend couldn't move after joining, then repeat after the cutscene finishing floor 1, a quick google search "Endless Dungeon can't move" followed by a quick refund.

Not only was movement disabled but the keyboard in general, no ALT F4, CTRL ALT Delete just a hard restart.

To the devs, There are bugs and then there is complete lack of any care for your product what so ever. For this to be so common and never fixed, you should have just removed the game from steam if you had no plans to fix it. I will be avoiding any of your future products like the plague.

Even though this review is written after 2 hours of gameplay, but I believe it's crucial to let everyone know the current state of the game. I've been looking forward to play this the day it was announced; but I didn't purchase right away, seeing how many bug people have encountered. It should not be a big deal. BUT IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS ALREADY and I've experienced many issues. Damn Crystal Bot keeps getting stuck between rooms, either bump into doors or edges or generators. Tried to restart the game, didn't work. For the heroes, though it's less than DotE, I can appreciate the quality. I can't seem to sell items to merchant, which is real shame. The Loading screen getting bugged sometimes that it stops at 99%. I had to request the refund after my 4th runs. Don't know if I would give them another chance....

Having played the first game a lot, both solo and Co-Op, I took a put at a heavly discounted game and got it for 5 euros. Having played 4 hours with two friends I can say this is a solid fun game. its evolved and maybe the players from the first game didnt like the changes, its more tower defence, in real time with "enter the gungeon" stype of gameplay.

Id highly recommend for some co-op fun.

No client crashes or bugs, I did disconnect once from the host and the game asked me if id like to rejoin, which I did without issue.

Game is fun. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about this game. It's fun. I like the art style and the gameplay mechanics. There is plenty of variety in terms of gunplay and hero's. I think my only complaint (and it's a nitpick) is I wish the music was a bit more interesting. The soundtrack is bland. Beyond that criticism I would say to full send this game.

This is a super fun rogue-lite twin stick shooter with some interesting tactical elements. I think most of the negative reviews here are from people comparing it to the similarly named Dungeons of the Endless which does share some elements of the game but plays completely different. Hence, a lot of people are coming in with maybe the wrong expectations. This is not a sequel to that game.

Sadly, the game does not get any more updates from the developers, however, there is already more than enough content to be worth the price (especially because it regularly gets heavily discounted).

Hard to play properly without friends which is ridiculous considering the first game set a precedent for being able to play it and enjoy it on your own. The dialogue honestly felt like it was either called in by a young intern trying to appeal to what their millennial supervisors thought was funny back in the 2010s or was written by said millennials. Cool spin, would love to see more cooperative games in the Endless universe, but this ultimately felt like a fumble. The strength of the Endless universe is in it's complexity, beauty, brutality, and humanity- that should be embraced and expanded upon, not diluted for the sake of corporate "safeness". While admittedly I barely put time into this (I really wanted to like it and maybe I will return eventually), it felt like the writers turned the beauty of that complexity into a pretty face without substance. I hope to see a return to form that honors what Amplitude initially captured as they were starting out all the way up to most of Endless Space 2 and their expansions.

Bought it in early access and I seriously regret my decision.

Had high hopes for this one, since I played the original. I have to say it is a huge let down. The strategy of opening door and light management was almost totaly abandoned and made the game pretty much a braindead strategy wise and since the original was mainly strategy game, this ended up being mainly an action game.
Bad one at that.

Not even worth 5€.

Not even worth your time if it was free to play, because I can only say two positive things about this. It has above average soundtrack and pleasing visuals, but that is only matter of taste.

Also it is buggy and became abandon-ware before game breaking bugs were fixed.

2 out of 10 because playing it as duo with my sister made it at least a liiittle fun.

A remake of the original Dungeon of the Endless, this game has better balanced gameplay compared to its predecessor, but falls flat in almost all other areas.

The new artstyle might be preferred for those who dislike pixel art, and the difficulty spike towards the end of the original has been smoothened out somewhat. There are some improvements from the original, especially for players who felt frustrated at the near-instant deaths that used to happen very late into a run. Finally, the music is still great.

Unfortunately, those are the only siginificant positive changes between the original game and this remake.

The novelty and artistic skill shown with the original artstyle is gone, as they have shifted into a more "smooth" looking 3D game. The addition of a new real-time element for the timing of waves and enemy spawning removes a large deal of the planning and strategy that made the original game fun. With the new real-world timer mechanic, the ideal strategy is more or less always going as fast as possible to reduce the number of waves you face, which makes runs feel boring and repetitive fast. They do have a drinks system to modify runs, but these are mostly just additional challenge modifiers and do not help the problem much.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I feel like if the devs have simply remastered the original with new art, they could have easily succeeded instead. I respect them trying to modernise the original, but they've lost what made the first game fun.

While not an outright [i]bad[/i] game, there simply is no reason for this remake to exist. Even if both games were on a massive 75% discount, there is simply no reason to buy this game over the original's $3 pricetag for a clearly better game.

As a player who have never played the first game, and therefore don't know the comparison many other players seem to make, the mixed reviews surprise me as, to me, this is a very entertaining game.

Personally, I found it to have a great atmosphere, fun characters and cool enemies. It gives you the wonder of discovering cool areas and features and reveal interesting lore tidbits as you go along, both through the map itself and small snippets of text you find along the way, while also creating fun and tense situations fighting enemies.

I played it with a friend and do think it's significantly better suited for multiplayer, as the teamwork and social aspect makes it a much more interesting challenge than simply finding good turret combos to hold all places you don't hold yourself. For me it's probably a 20 hour game, which I think is just fine for 15€.

If you and a friend are looking for a fun experience, I can most definitely recommend, especially on sale, as 5€ for this is a steal.

No he llegado a entender el rechazo de los fans del dungeon of the endless original. En mi caso también lo soy y creo que este juego es una clara mejora. La música es mejor, el apartado artístico es impecable, se corrigen algunos fallos de diseño que tenía el original y se añaden mecánicas en el control de personaje que hacen del juego algo más entretenido y menos tedioso.
No se me ocurre ningún aspecto que me haga añorar al original y por el que lo jugaría antes de este, y me da mucha pena porque creo que las expectativas de los fans han jugado en su contra y les impide disfrutar de un gran juego.

Fantastic game, great execution. The mix of strategy, resource management with the variety of weapons and characters make this game so addictive. The levels look fantastic, character design is great, weapons are unique and each character and weapon has passives you can upgrade. Every playthrough will truly be a different experience.

I am going to say yes to this game, its fun and fairly similar to the first game, though I would say its a different kind of game to the first one. It seems fun so far - four hours in and I am discovering mechanics rather than being taught them.

Initially I was unsure if I would like it based on the negative reviews and worried it was going to be a planned layout the way the game starts off however, it is still randomly generated and I do like the feel of the game while playing.

The unlocks system see reasonable and there are seem to be a lot of different choices to be made. I particularly like that the unlocks seem to be tied to making progress in the story rather than in gain XP and then you have it (though you do have to collect resources too to unlock them).

There obviously things I would change (as with all games) but most of the things I would like to be different are related to how they work in the previous game, for instance:
I would like to be able to sell turrets but you cannot in this game.
or
I would like to un-power a room like the first game but if you power a room you are stuck with it turned on after that.
If they did change these to how I would like them, I think it would be better to add it as a different mode, like they did in the previous game, with lots of game modes.

Things I think would make the game better:
Different zoom levels specifically a zoom out function, especially when I started playing I found the zoom of the game is too close so I am not always able to see what I am firing at - I have started trying to use the radar to aim instead and gotten mostly used to it now.
An inventory key, it took me a few tries to find the inventory is the escape key menu and I only found this out when I got up to do something for a few minutes.
Lastly, rotation keys, it would be nice to be able to orientate the level so I can see what I am looking at better.

The only thing that seems weird is the in game skins system seems to say go to the store by I don't see any skins in the store.

I tend to play the original game on my laptop when on holiday and have a few minutes I am not doing anything in particular so I do think this game could fill that niche too.

yes there are some bugs, such as one of our party could never actually choose the type of generator and once in a while you can't close one of the menus when interacting with workshop etc, BUT my friend and i got it on sale and we've player 8 hours non-stop! it's great for hanging out with a couple of friends

Просто восторг! Для всех фанатов космоса и приключений обязатальна к прохождению. Музыка - отдельный восторг. Almost everything that made the first game fun is not present in this one. Combat feels..meh at best. No returning characters either.

It doesn't help that this was quickly brushed aside by the devs, but to be fair ? I'm not even sure its the wrong call.

I was so excited for this game before it released. It finally came out and I wanted to love it, I really did. But it was never even fun enough to recommend to my friends (who all love Dungeon of the Endless as I do).
This game was a flop. Which is extra sad because it could have been an absolute gem.

From having banked 200+ hours in the first one, I have to say the second one is honestly a lot of fun despite the mixed reviews it currently has. When I originally found out about the sequel in development, I had kept my eyes posted for updates and a potential release date. Granted when the release of this game dropped, it was a bit rocky for the launch, but overall it's seemed put together really well!

The style seems reminiscent of the original (the obvious difference being the style change from 2D to 3D, but keeping the format of top-down strategy). The roster of characters is small compared to the original (28 different characters in the first whereas there are 9). While the roster is small, I feel there is as much background given to each character (the original Dungeon of the Endless gave connections to some characters, having portfolio linking backgrounds and synergies whereas this one has more weapon customization and buffs compared to synergies.

Needless to say, this game can be a lot of fun on your own or with friends as well! I'd recommend it, especially with the discounts it seems to go on sale for!
