Really wanted to give a thumbs up, but not doing so even if it's one of my favorite horror/jumpscare/scary game.

The tension in this game is really good, but unfortunatelly the main reason for the thumbs down is the game over *chance* when you die. The game could exist (and would still be fun) without this mechanic, I really don't know why developers thought on adding this.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about: When you die in this game, sometimes you wake on your room again just before you went on the mission you died, and sometimes you'll get a screen with two doors. One you'll wake on your room before you went on the mission you died, and the other one is game over. No hints, no nothing, just have to start everything all over again. And as the levels are randomly generated is not like "oh, now at least I know where to find that and that".

Still, whenever I have the opportunity I'm buying this game to some friends who are scared, I know they don't hit the mark of the game over gambling frustration because they wont play that much, they'll always hit the first chase, prob die, wake on their room, quit the game and never ever open it again XD

I love this game, saw many many youtubers playing the first one so many years ago when I didn't own a pc, but this game over thing sucks to try and play it seriously.

Bueno, Dungeon Nightmares 2. Como dice, es la segunda entrega de los 3 juegos que sacó el creador. Puedo decir que cumple relativamente con el objetivo de dar algún que otro susto y cierta tensión en ocasiones, aunque el juego posteriormente a eso pasa a ser un tanto cansador.
La verdad es que no está tan mal, es como para probar alguna experiencia de terror pero tampoco es como que te pierdas de algo loco, es sencillo el juego. Igualmente una experiencia parecida sería la 1er entrega la cual no está en Steam, pero sí está en internet, simplemente buscarlo y está ahí gratuito para instalar, más simple todavía que éste, pero como digo, experiencia parecida.
Conclusión, si pudiera dar una opinión neutra elegiría esa, el juego debería valer menos a mi entender y no mucho más.

Un juego de absoluto terror y supervivencia. Vas directo a lo que vas, a sentir miedo y a asustarte. Tiene una gran ambientación, logra mantenerte alerta y a sentir mucha tensión. Las mazmorras van variando y poniéndose cada vez más complicadas, apareciendo nuevos enemigos y obstáculos. Está bueno para probarlo, porque pasarse el juego es MUY difícil, pero si te propones pasártelo, mucha suerte.

The random generated maps makes the game luck based, especially on the timed levels. You walk miles and miles through hallways hoping to find the room that has the things you need in order to leave the stage. You find the exit, but you haven't found the switch to make the exit work. You have to backtrack through miles of hallway to explore areas you missed. You don't have time on the timed stages to go back and search. If you didn't get lucky enough to find the switch and the other items you needed early, you might as well quit and replay the level because you are not going to have enough time. It gets even more frustrating when the monster shows up. Because there is no options. There is no other hallway or alternative route. You have to backtrack away from the monster because you're in one big long hallway. But you don't have time. You have to go through that monster and risk it killing you, because you don't have time.

(Edit.) The Fire on the final level is such unfair bs that I want to sling countless profanities at this developer.

Первую часть откровенно люблю и с удовольствием ее в свое время прошел, пусть и не без матюков.
Вторую часть я пытался домучить энное число раз, но просто не могу уже.

С одной стороны, у нас тут все то же, что и раньше: спускаемся на лифте в подземелье, шаримся по темным коридорам и комнатам, ищем ключевой предмет, лифт и валим оттуда. В данже мы, как водится, не одни: тут все та же мясистая барышня и старые знакомые скелеты. Плюс еще несколько штук новых монстряков. Лифт теперь просто так не запустить, вначале нужно отыскать рубильник, благо он подсвечивается. А так все, в принципе, то же самое: бродим, пугаемся, с воплями убегаем от мертвых обнимашек и с облегчением выдыхаем, уезжая на лифте.

Дальше начинается то самое "С другой стороны". Подземелье-то все то же, да только еще ловушек добавили в виде смыкающихся лезвий из Принца Персии, секир-маятников и прочих шипов из пола. Казалось бы, интересная идея, доп. контент и вот это все. Но умереть от ловушек непросто, а вот тормозят они здорово, что в итоге начинает раздражать. Далее по подземелью. Испорчена генерация. В первой части карта уровня чаще напоминала паутину и, если мне память не изменяет, нередко была закольцована. Ко второй же части у разраба, видимо, проснулись фетиш длинных узких коридоров и отвращение к кольцам, поскольку пройти километр местной "кишки", упереться в тупик, разворачиваться и топать обратно здесь нормальное дело.

Далее, монстры, а вернее, один конкретный монстр. Та самая барышня, которая шастает по подземелью. В первой части она периодически затаивалась где-нибудь в темноте коридора, не издавая ни звука, тем самым устраивая засаду. Здесь же на нее максимум можно наткнуться, а скрыться от нее все так же просто, как и раньше.

Пронзительных скримеров, которые, имхо, были сильной стороной первой части, здесь так же на порядок меньше и встречаются они реже. Не поймите неправильно, я не фанат скримаков, но в первой части они были сделаны качественно.

Из нового (и неприятного) здесь мотания между уровнями. В этот раз мы не просто попадаем в подземелье, мы целенаправленно лезем в него сами, спускаясь на лифте отеля, по которому нам и предстоит бродить между забегами. Казалось бы, это ж здорово, больше лора. Но, как говорится, есть один момент. Во второй части, как и в первой, у вас одна жизнь. Померли - вэлкам ту первая ночь. И придется вам проходить все те же номера после каждого уровня опять, опять и опять. Да, конечно, здесь у вас есть шанс продолжить игру с той же ночи, где вы умерли, но сделано это из рук вон плохо: есть две двери, вам нужно выбрать одну. Выбрали неправильную - гамовер. И это всегда 50/50.

И наконец, конечно же, уровни с таймером. У вас 10 минут, чтобы найти ключ, рубильник, лифт и (желательно) улику, иначе все, финита. Присовокупите к этому описанные выше проблемы, типа длиннющих коридоров с тупиками, и вы поймете, почему многим это так не нравится. А таких уровней, между прочим, два, один за другим.

Первая игра была простой, дешевой и местами откровенно нечестной, но она была испытанием, которое в итоге приятно было пройти. Вторая же больше воспринимается как наказание, и проходить ее приходится себя заставлять. Мне лично больше не хочется этого делать, а вы уж сами решайте.

"Dungeon Nightmares II : The Memory" is a very badly made contentless (procgen) "dungeon" game where you wander around a procgen maze made up of different chunks of some office basement with some haunted skeletons and other crap giving you jumpscares. And that's really the first problem of many that we run into here. Why does it say "Dungeon" when there's steam pipes, office chairs, filing cabinets and other modern junk strewn all around?

I'm not really sure if "Dungeon Nightmares II : The Memory" is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. Case in point, the developer calls this a dungeon crawler but the assets are all mismatched, modern assets... whenever assets are this badly mismatched, it raises questions. There's no evidence, however, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself.

Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.

The game assets are far from bleeding edge, with lowish polygon counts and somewhat low resolution textures, making this look like it's at least 10 years old. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks poor in comparison to more professionally produced games as a result of their decisions.

The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.

The game features no proper level design or game/story flow/plot, as they opted to try to use samey repetitive procgen algorithms as a substitute for adding such content to the game, to avoid doing the important job of level/map design. As a result, the game doesn't actually have any content worth mentioning, just endless, boring, repetitive, soulless algorithmically generated sameyness. Developers must learn that procedural generation is not an acceptable substitute for content.

These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.

The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 16 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.

Dungeon Nightmares II : The Memory is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 9,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.

This game could've been a decent atmospheric horror game but the gameplay itself is just horrible. Basically ends up with you in the dark searching every single surface for a stupid switch to get an elevator working while mostly walking very slowly because if you run out of stamina something bad happens. Enemies will occasionally spawn in your way forcing you to run away and makes things take even longer. Oh and then they decide to put time limits on some later levels to add to the fun.

I'd go find a youtube playthrough to watch instead of buying this mess. Make someone else suffer through the gameplay.

Time limits and an absolutely broken stamina mechanic, especially when there is random generation AND a possible permanent death mechanic (which is based on a coin flip)... this game just has all the components to be a frustrating experience for no real apparent reason. There were levels where you have a 10 minute time limit (tied to instant death - see the above permanent death chance) and the hallways generated were so long and convoluted that even without the absolutely ridiculous stamina mechanic, it would have been impossible to find the movie reel, the elevator, AND the power switch, all within the time limit; especially when you have to backtrack because you just so happen to take the wrong path to begin with (not even listing the low character health and BS enemy spawns).

This game has so much potential that is just wasted on some BS mechanics.

I was enjoying myself so much, being scared the whole time for those first few levels.

Then...the time limit levels came in and that time limit became my only thing I was worried about.

I was running past the monsters and no longer scared of them at that point cuz I no longer had time to be scared of them, they became nothing more than obstacles I would run by because that damn time limit is so short and the map rng is always just gonna have me beat the level by luck.

The developer should remove that time limit or at least make it long enough to keep you in fear of the monsters and not some stupid time limit.

the moment I stopped being scared because I had to rush the levels is when the game became no longer scary or fun.

It's unfortunate, that I have to leave a negative review, but sadly I didn't find the game to be scary, only really repetitive and tiresome. All there is to do, is enter a maze and find the same item every time. The maze itself is very boring and uninspired and offers nothing but a few jumpscares with the occasional traps.

The sections between the maze feel much better, those actually include good scares and set pieces, however most of my time is spent on empty hallways and sterile looking rooms. The nail in the coffin is the death system that sort of leaves it up to chance whether you die or not. I don't think a dice roll is a compelling gameplay mechanic.

I played lots of horror games from Outlast, Amnesia, and Slender and those aren't as scary as this one. Dungeon Nightmares II does a fantastic job of making the player feel scared. This game is terrifying with its jumpscares, and randomly generated dungeons make this game one of the scariest games I've played.

I've Just recently returned to this game and my opinions changed quite a bit on it. At first I didn't recommend this game because of a glitch where you can fall through the floor of the map and it restarts you at the beginning of the night which lead to frustration as well as it prevented me from getting the true ending when I tried to collect everything since I was stuck in a glitch loop and couldn't get out of it, But then after returning to it, I never got it anymore and I was able to get the true ending. Whatever bug I've got that prevented me from getting it must have been an unlucky glitch that ruined my game. But I think I can recommend it now as long if it doesn't glitch you through the floor to restart the night you're on. It's one of the most horrifying games I've ever played with random jumpscares. However the only thing I don't like about this game is if you die you have a 50% chance of being able to continue, Otherwise you'll have to start over on a new game. But overall, I still recommend this game at a scale of 7/10

Wahrscheinlich das nervigste Horrorgame was ich in den letzten Jahren gespielt habe, pures Backtracking, nervige Jumpscares und schreckliches Leveldesign treffen auf Permadeath - Es ist alles genau so nervig und ungruselig wie es klingt, während ich Dungeon Nightmares 1 halbwegs gut in Erinnerung habe, war das hier auf jeden Fall eine durchgehend schreckliche Experience, nur nicht auf die Art wie es ein Horrorgame gerne verursachen würde..

Die Hotelpassagen sind "okay" - Aber an sich auch nur Standard-Indie-Horror der early/mittleren 2010s, kennt man schon.
Der Rest und Hauptteil des Games, die Labyrinthe, können nur funktionieren wenn man enorme Angst vor den kleinen Jumpscares hat - fällt das weg, fällt ALLES in sich zusammen, erbärmlich brennend.

I got the bad ending and I've had enough.

I don't feel why so many people love this game, maybe it's that I never played the first part or I'm too much of a scaredy cat that sucks in finding the right ways, but I just don't feel this one. Won't say anything about quality for an indie game, it's not bad, not good, just indie.

However, it is scary and will very likely keep you tensed, if that's what you're looking for, because this game is never the same.

Also, it is pretty much worth it's price for the amount of dev's work, so if you're in doubt about spending money and questioning if it will be worth, I'll say you should give it a try, you'll have enough for that price.

Моменты с сохранением раздражают, но и это придаёт особый шарм. В целом игра пугает ( выбивает дерьмо из игрока) даже тогда, когда уже привык и к местным обитателям, и к гнетущим и пугающим звукам. Но всё же надолго игры хватит только для тех, кто любит подземелья, исследование их, иначе после 3-5 часов может приестся хождение по лабиринтам, пусть даже с обходом ловушек.
Не сказать, что самая страшная игра всё же как по мне, но атмосфера шикарная) Первые два часа реально жутко
Ещё хочу добавить, что тут отдельным моментом придаёт гнетущей атмосферы связь с реальностью. Все эти замученные и сожжённые люди ( да и их призраки, но это imho) -- всё это происходило на определённых периодах истории, да и сейчас происходит, просто скрито и не так массово. Ещё и часы в комнате гг ( и не только) всё-время синхронизируются с часами на компьютере игрока, и сердцибиение это её дыханием, вроде сделано -- простенько, но это психологический хоррор, который заставляет задуматься, а если задумался слишком сильно -- то напугает так, что мало не покажется

Si eres medio atarantado y tienes un chat que te dice "juega esto, será divertido, hazlo en halloween", o que te dice cosas como "la bruja de blair no asusta, pon un juego más tierno como Dungeon nightmares", entonces este juego es para ti. Excelente juego para que el asterisco se te contraiga al punto en que no puedas defecar por 3 semanas aún si comes taquitos con arroz hindú. No me agradó que asuste tanto, me ♥♥♥♥ triste, pero como quiero a mi chat seguí caminando y llorando y entiendo que como es un juego de miedo es un buen juego y lo reseño positivo por eso mismo, porque me defequé todo y ahora ya no puedo volver a hacer mis necesidades por 2 meses, no sé si lo dejé claro pero en serio ahora tendré estreñimiento. Gracias y buena noche latinoamerica.

And this game tapped out all those opportunities with me.

PROS:
+ Rogue-like levels promise every game run to be unique
+ Graphics look decent for a budget indie game
+ A few well-done spooky moments

CONS:
- Jump scares galore quickly outstay their welcome and impact
- Bad use of sound effects that additionally dull the atmosphere
- Game shows you everything it's got in the first couple of levels

Dungeon Nightmares II The Memory (needs longer title, ffs) tells a story about the kid stuck on the hotel floor and constantly having day-nightmares. When you are in the hotel, your room is a "safe-space" where you can take a break, discover more of the ongoing story, gather your thoughts and think why you're wasting your time on crap horror games, before you enter the elevator and go into basement/dungeons where all bets are off.

To leave a basement level, you have to find and activate the power box, find at least one note of importance and exit by locating another elevator room. All basement levels are randomized mazes made out of bricks, just with different color and texture as you reach deeper levels. Majority of sounds are intentionally subdued and quiet, except for every screech, scream or attack that is purposefully loud to scare you. There are a lot of random "gotcha" jumpscare moments that aren't really threatening. Your stamina is signalized by the rhythm of your heartbeat, and health by the blurry redness of your vision, You only have one real threat that will occasionally chase you and will kill you quickly if it's nearby. You have unreliable candles to push this active threat away for a short time, but you have to find them first, there's too few of them and they might not activate on your first try when you need them. When you manage to leave a level, you loose all your spare candles, you keep the keys of other hotel rooms that will progress the story. If this sounds like Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion knock off to you, that's because it probably is.

The amount of cheap jumpscares in this game is through the roof, they feel lazy and effortless, there's no momentum nor build up to the scare. It's all instant-gratifying and bland scares that will spike your adrenocorticotropic before your brain acclimatize and start ditching these cheap moments of horror. There are a handful few well made horror moments: the eerie images on the walls and the thing that is chasing you are really unnerving, but everything else is forgetful. The sewer like design of levels that have no atmosphere nor personality also does not help in leaving a chilling, memorable gaming experience.

Avoid it unless you want to jump out of your chair in the first 3 minutes and then uninstall it.

I really wanted to like this game because it had some fairly original ideas and some very good scares, but unfortunately this game didn't have the same spark as the first one did. To get into detail, I like games with a few jumpscares, chasing, and some unforgiving mechanics like what Getting Over It did. But the whole horror experience of this game goes away once you realize that that is all there is to the game. The same things over and over again, repetitive jumpscares that just get annoying after a while, and you having to redo hours and hours of work to only lose the progress AGAIN to something you could do hardly anything about at all. I thought the game would get better until the timed levels come in. Who the actual hell would want to play a game where you only have 10 minutes to search EVERYWHERE for a lever and elevator and have to start from the very beginning if the 10 minutes is up? I think the idea of permadeath is a good idea for video games, but the way it was placed in this game was something that would cause someone like me to jump off a cliff. Complete permadeath in a game like this is a perfect lesson on what not to put in a horror game because it completely ruins the horror experience and is just pure agony. Of my 2.6 hours played, I have spent over an hour just getting back to where I was. This might just be the most overrated horror game I have ever played in my opinion. Period.

I love this game. I've supported K Monkey since the original Dungeon Nightmares. I can't give this a positive review however, because my very first experience into the game, although atmospheric and scary, was quickly killed by an inability to find the switch. Why game developers think it's fun to find the objective only to be turned away to find some other meaningless thing before you can use it (in this case a power switch for an elevator) is beyond me. I wandered around the tiny starter are for 15 minutes searching up and down every wall for the damn switch. Looking at my map, I retraced my steps in every room 5 or 6 times over. Still never found the switch. Goals should be difficult but achievable. This is especially important in horror games because if you lose your audience and they get sucked out of the atmosphere, they are no longer invested and the horror doesn't work anymore. This tedious searching, (at a painfully slow walking pace mind you) killed the game for me. Please make the switch a more obvious feature or just remove it. It doesn't make the game any more fun in the slightest.

I can deal with getting killed by a monster but the final dungeon goes too far with hallway fire traps, I've died from these more than anything else in the game and the fact that the continue screen gives a vague hint that you may start all over if you choose the wrong one doesn't help, the firetraps have no clear pattern and if your in a long hallway you can die in a second just from staying in place to recover or take a gamble mid-hallway and run to the nearest corner and to make matters worse there are many long dead ends.

I enjoyed everything up to the final dungeon, the dark atmosphere, the creepy ambience and ramp up in challenge but death mechanics like the random fire traps and corrupted save system ruined my chance of getting the good ending not in an unplayable sense but for the collectables, I collected every optional note, every newspaper and checked every corner of each dungeon and the game still says I only collected 71% of the newspapers, I can only assume this bug happened between the end of scripted horror segments in the apartment before entering the dungeon because it would crash to a black screen after entering the elevator. I didn't find this out until the end of the game cause there's no way to track it in between dungeons and without any way to dungeon select I'd sooner replay Silent hill 1 with no memory card.

A really challenging horror game, that actually scary too. If you die somewhere in the game, you have a chance to go back to where you died, if you choose the right door. I chose the wrong door of course, and had to completely restart the game back from the beginning. It's a fairly cheap game for how good it is, and it's replay value is very high. I recommend this game to anyone who is in need of a cheap, actually scary horror game.

ゲーム開始直後に風来のシレンのようなランダムに生成されるダンジョンから始まる。迷路のような壁だらけのダンジョンで到達したところはマップ上で見えるようになる。
やることは3つ:

[*]エレベーターの動力(壁についてるレバー)を起動する。
[*]エレベーターに乗る。

これをするとホテルに飛ばされて、キーアイテムを使ってゲームが進む。
で、またエレベーターを降りてダンジョンに進む。この繰り返し。
ダンジョンが進むとマップが広くなったり、トラップが増えたり、ノソノソ追いかけてくる敵が出たりする。

Самая страшная игра в которую я играл, это намного страшнее чем ваш Outlast со всеми остальными хоррор играми и фильмами ужасов ВМЕСТЕ ВЗЯТЫХ. Тем не менее, игра мне очень понравилась. [u]Очень[/u] атмосферная, простой геймплей, про сюжет на скажу ибо не сильно шарю в английском. Но у неё есть очень большой минус, если ты умер, то весь прогресс сбрасывается. И если "сохранится и выйти" то вы конечно выйдите из этого кошмара но прогресс не сохранится. По этому быстро пропадет интерес к этой игре

Boring game ... Let's run around in the darkness(and in a MAZE) looking for keys and switches. With the standard jumpscare thrown in. Not enough candles to light your way. There seems to be some kind of story behind it that seems intresting but that's all.

I can not recommend this game, I came down an elevator after opening some rooms in the apartement and I simply died because something was standing there and I couldn't even move??? And if you die you get to some doors and if you choose the wrong one you have to start the game all over...

Well, it's okay, since it's randomly generated, but everything looks pretty much the same. If not for the map, you'd get lost for sure. I came across the same hanging skulls almost around every corner! It's so dark, that trying to find anything is a strain on the eyes, even with a candle lit.

I will say this, the atmosphere is a bit creepy, with good ambient sounds, but sounds do not make a game. I was getting so bored, I was actually hoping for a jump scare and when it finally came, it didn't scare me at all! It should have, but I waited so long, it lost it's spark I guess. I played the game for 30 minutes before I even saw a jump scare.

The graphics are good, but it's so dark, all the dev's work is unseen! Plus, you move so slow it becomes boring. Candles only burn for like 2 minutes. They must be super tiny birthday candles! lol I hate games that do this. Candles burn for a long time people!!!

The HUD has a lot of writing at the top of the screen and this is just unacceptable to me. You might find it okay, but I CAN remember to press "M" for the map and "C" to spark a candle up!!! My goodness, what were you thinking leaving those on the screen!!! Some design choices just ruined the game for me. You might like the game though...

There are much, MUCH better horror survival games out there. I can't recommend this game at the going price! I bought many horror survival games for $2.00 full price that are much better than this. You might want to pass on this one, or get it on sale.

PT붐 이후 나온 아류게임중 하나

솔직히 좋은 게임이라고는 말 못하겠음.
할만은 했는데 재밌지는 않았거든.

특히나 사운드테러는 이 게임의 장점이자 단점.
사운드를 잘 만들기는 했는데 너무 고음량으로 넣어서
시끄럽고 짜증나기만 함. 그것때문에 놀라긴 하는데

사실상 이게 큰소리에 대한 놀람이지
공포라고 하기엔 좀 어폐가 있음.

그 외에 괴물은...호텔?인지로 돌아왔을때 이벤트
그정도만 공포분위기가 좀 나고
던전내에서 만나는 괴물들은 그냥 무덤덤...

특히나... 와! 샌즈!는.... 뭐가 무서운거냐...

제일 짜증났던건 2시간쯤 잘 하다가
죽어서 게임 오버된후 컨티뉴 없던거...

솔직히 이게 제일 공포였다.
쌉노잼인 게임을 처음부터 다시하라니...
그 후로 바로 지워버림.

2시간밖에 안했는데도 개인적으로 가장 놀랬던 빈도가 많았던 게임이였던거같음
그만큼 [b]갑툭튀[/b]가 [b]시도때도없이 계속[/b]나오고 , 갈수록 난이도도 어려워짐
던전 구조도 죽어서 처음부터 할때마다 바뀌는거같음

그리고 가장 중요한게 이 게임은 죽으면 부활이 바로바로 되는게 아니라 문 2개중 하나를 골라야되는데 1개는 부활이고 1개는 진짜 죽는거라 문 2개를 앞에두고 선택장애가 오는 자신을 발견하게 될꺼임 [strike]사실상 이 부활시스템이 가장 공포인듯[/strike]
잘못골라도 초반은 그냥 다시하면되니까 별 상관이 없는데 저처럼 몇시간 넘게한판이 날라가게되면 극심한 현자타임이 찾아오게됨 [spoiler]이런 시X[/spoiler]

Увидел ху_й_ню бегущую за мной.
Нашел прорубь,спрыгнул в неё,услышал крик(кровь пошла из ушей) м.б нет ув. или ум. громкости(мелкий косяк).
Увидел элеватор а ему нужна энергия,ведь это механизм,которому не нужна энергия...
Посмотрел что у меня со шкафом,понял что он в го_в_не..

Dark corridors and jump scares. If you're looking for a genuinely scary game then this isnt it. Got it cheap on sale so it's worth a play through but not even remotely as scary as others may lead you to belive, unles you're an absolute dandy.

Dungeon Nightmares II могла бы быть шикарным хоррором, особенно с поправкой на то, что её делал один разработчик-энтузиаст. Игра очень атмосферная, визуально она выглядит простенько и местами вторично, но при этом стильно. Работа со звуком очень достойная. Игра по-хорошему страшная, причем пугают далеко не только скримерами, но и угнетающей, жуткой атмосферой.

Губят игру (как и многие другие инди-проекты) неуместные и неудачные потуги разработчика быть не-таким-как-все. Пытаясь соригинальничать, он добавляет в свою игру элементы классического рогалика и вот тут начинаются провал за провалом.

В игре присутствует процедурная генерация и она очень плохая. Большинство уровней представляют собой череду очень длинных коридоров, ведущих в тупики. Связи между коридорами нет. Идти обратно несколько минут скучно. Встретить по дороге назад монстра, который зажимает нас в тупике как минимум обидно (в игре есть монстры, которые инстакиллят).

В игре у игрока одна жизнь, после смерти с вероятностью 50% придется начинать все сначала. Это просто глупость и неуважение к игроку. В нормальных рогаликах, где действительно одна жизнь, смерть это опыт и с каждым разом ты играешь все лучше и все ближе подбираешься к цели. В Dungeon Nightmares II, как и положено инди хоррору, все решает его Величество рандом (см. выше про монстров и тупики). В игре есть ситуации, в которых игрок обречен умереть и сделать ничего нельзя (в лучшем случае можно на опыте успеть выйти из игры, чтобы потом начать уровень заново).

Отдельно хочется отметить уровни с ограничением по времени. Эти уровни – торжество рандома, если подземелье сгенерится неудачно, то победить будет невозможно и смерть неминуема. Если конечно не выйти с уровня в меню, когда на таймере останется несколько секунд. Вообще экстренный выход в меню – едва ли не самый важный инструмент для борьбы со всеми трудностями в игре. Что само по себе не есть хорошо.

Резюме: если вам нравятся хорошие хорроры, и вас не пугает приставка инди, то попробовать игру стоит.
