I really enjoyed this Duck Detective game because I was hoping for more lore about the world and some funny characters and both are included in this game!

This is honestly my new favorite game series! The voice acting is definitely the biggest highlight of this game. I can't help but laugh and chuckle at some of the ridiculous things, and I love the art style of the game as well. The gameplay and storytelling is really fun and has a nice flow to it. All the puzzles are really good as well. I really appreciate the story mode option because as someone who sometimes struggles at certain puzzles I really do enjoy the highlight option, but yeah, definitely a really fun game. Definitely recommend.

As a child, I’d eat candy mindlessly and then come to and run crying to my mom fully believing that someone had stolen my candy.
I obsessively waited for this to come out and consumed it within a day and now I have to call my mom.
I cannot get enough of Duck Detectives. The dialogue is hilarious - voice actors are 10/10. I will admit that there were a few leaps here and there in terms of being able to get to where they need you to; but loved it all the same. Keep 'em coming!

I REALLY wanted to enjoy this game, and I certainly enjoyed moments, but I just can't recommend it.
- The story, dialogue, characters, art and voices, were awesome.
- A few of the puzzles actually required you two connect some dots on your own. It was satisfying without it becoming the type of situation where the answer felt like something near impossible. However, most of the puzzles were pretty obvious.
- I was really enjoying my time with the game only to suddenly realize I was near the end and just thought to myself "oh, that's it?". It seemed like the game ended right as the story and puzzles got interesting.
- The ending decision also felt entirely superfluous.
If the game was on a big sale, I could absolutely see it being more worth it. As it stands though, the cost just wasn't worth the amount of content (and I dilly-dallied a lot). I was left really disappointed and I think it would have been so much better if it was even a bit longer and more fleshed out.
TLDR: If you aren't concerned about your money, go ahead. It's short but enjoyable and really endearing. If you are concerned about your money, save it for something you're able to spend more time with. The content is just not there.
A lot of great improvements from the previous game, compelling story, more unique character dialogues, and a fun ending. highly recommend!
I liked The Ghost of Glamping a lot but less than Secret Salami. The pros are that the setting is really cool, especially with the allegedly haunted abandoned sanitorium. The world is more expansive and there's a lot to explore. Much like its predecessor, the mystery unfolds quite nicely. However, my only qualm is that the mystery itself fell a bit flat to me, compared to the first game. And the "villain" is sort of predictable. You don't get to explore the sanitorium much at all, which felt like a bit of a waste. Overall though, it was a very enjoyable experience with fun characters.
The game ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot find any information on when the third game will be released, which is a bummer. I would love to play future installments of this series.
Another great Duck Detective game. Highly recommend for folks who are interested in something like Case of the Golden Idol but aren't sure if it's for them.

A nice game for a quiet sunday. Do not expect it to go on for very long, but it is very well made and the time you put in is not wasted. The art style is nice, the voice overs are marvelous.

73分钟通关，第一部的小迷弟成为了这部的室友了，这次虽然地图比前作更大，人物更多，但是实际游玩时间比前作更短了，可能是因为体验过前作后轻车熟路了把。完全可以俩小时内退款，可惜我买了一阵子了QAQ

i love this series! this sequel did not disappoint, a great follow up to the (equally impressive) previous entry. it is a short game (seems most take 2 hours, i took a bit longer than 3 hours), but its cheap and definitely worth a shot! can crank it out in an evening.
the mechanics resemble the first game, the investigations are reasonably simple but the deduc(k)tion mechanic forces you to explore evidence and actually deduce for yourself the answer, plot starts simple, ramps up in intensity, all while staying a bit absurd and comedic. voice acting is great, characters are great, art is charming. overall, a strong recommend if you like puzzle or detective games!
definitely looking forward to the next entry in the series! especially after that final scene. can't wait to see what they come up with next!

但是我是国区，你用两倍的价格可以买更完美的《鲁特里之死》以及20到30小时的游戏体验，对于这款游戏，这好评如潮，实在是有点不值得，可以交给美术和tips。
剧情清水不止，逻辑浅薄不行，制作组应该是想为了轻松明快的风味，或者说单纯技术不够，很多转折极其冲动，我无法理解怎么突然这人就是了，为什么这人居然能带着这个出来，无法理解这个人的动机居然是为了换这个，而且没有伏笔说喜欢，难道你的意思是让我默认知道你这个游戏说三句话才能获得所有信息知道这个人因为死缠烂打过度自信所以被嫌弃了么？
如果要还原人的性格和联系，为什么要用浅薄的聊天记录就联系上了，这几个人我不认识，而且我觉得这些人也不熟。
而且，1小时太短了，我是否应该随时对一款游戏的时间保持低估呢。至少从绝大多数好评看到4小时我以为还行呢。结果一如既往的对我来说至少少2个小时。

A cute detective game that's pretty easy although some things don't really speak to you at first

He's back once again as this bread addict has another case to solve.
Fundamentally there is not much different from the first game gameplay wise as the overall mechanics are largely unchanged. The new characters were fun to interact with and discover their secrets, as well as the story having larger stakes this time. The lore of Duck Detective is growing larger and larger.
For the asked price though its a bit much unless you loved the first game, if you haven't played the first game it would be best to wait until this game is on sale.

Duck Detective is a cute, beautifully drawn and animated, bite sized mystery for anyone look to scratch the detective itch of Nancy Drew or Pig Detective without the mind-boggling puzzles. The characters are fun and the dialogue is witty acted wonderfully, My only two complaints are the puzzles are WWAAAAYYY too easy. For example: I solved the L.L.L puzzle completely by accident since I knew two of three answers and my first guess was correct. I never used a hint and many of the fill in the blank choices were super easy to predict. Second: it was WAAAYYY too short. When the game I ended I audibly went "that's it?" I understand the game is only $10 which for the effort of the devs, artists, and VAs is a steal! But the way the game was advertised I thought there was a lot more plot to get to. If you are looking for anything similar to Pig Detective or Nancy Drew with fantastic narrative, challenging puzzles, and creepy elements then this won't satisfy. For a quick fix? It's perfect.

A really charming and compact puzzle experience. It reminds me of the Golden Idol games, but with a lighter, more accessible deduction system. It's a bite sized game, and I’d happily play a longer version with several chapters expanding on the concept.
Compared to the first one, this entry feels a bit more polished in terms of logical flow, which I appreciated.

Very much like the first game, this plays as an extension rather than it's own thing. There are no new mechanics introduced in this one, but to be honest I liked that, it felt just as cozy as the first with a *little* more spook. Personally, I prefer this story to the Salami Bandit as I feel it's a little more interesting. It's a super short one that took me around 1hr 40m to complete the story and get 100% of the achievements (you'll likely get 100% from the achievements by just playing the game icl). If you liked the first one, you'll like this one as they are very much one and the same.
I went into this with low expectations as I didn't enjoy the previous game, but I prefer the story of this game much more. I think the story makes more sense and there's a little character development for both Freddy and the duck detective.
Often, sequels to games are disappointments, failing to deliver the same punch as the original, improving the gameplay, or capitalizing on the vibes.
This is not one of those cases. This game had big ol' shoes to fill, because Secret Salami was amazing in all aspects. This game takes everything about the first Duck Detective, cranks it up a bit, gives it a deeper story that fleshes out the world, and somehow manages to be even funnier and imaginative than Secret Salami. Seriously, the mechanics, which were excellent in the first game are improved further, the game is longer, and the characters, while ridiculous, still feel fleshed out and real; as real as sticker versions of anthropomorphic cartoons can be.
I recommend this game without reservation. For the price tag, you can't beat it, and you will find it is far more entertaining than going to the movies, which you can't even do for $10 anymore. Buy it, say goodbye to a couple hours of your life, and join me in waiting for the next entry into this excellent series.

The story was great and not too long but very interesting the whole time.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is the sequel to Duck Detective: The Secret Salami. Going into the sequel, I was expecting the same level of consistency in how the cast of characters interacted with each other, as well as how the game made its detective like puzzles just difficult enough for the player to want to try and solve the puzzle on their own. On this front, I can happily say that I was blown away.
Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping, while short. Clocking in at the 2-3 hour mark for full achievement unlocks, was a great evolution from the first Duck Detective game. In Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping, you reprise your role as the titular Duck Detective. The Duck Detective, now roommates with Freddy Frederson, a side character from the first game, all decide to go on a trip to a glamping spot. For those who have played Duck Detective, the controls, and game mechanics of having conversations and finding clues to fill out deduction sentences remains the same. Basically how the whole game plays remains the same in the sequel. But this time around, the cast of characters that are introduced to the player made me way more invested in seeing future sequels to the Duck Detective series. Without spoilers, Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping introduces a whole new cast of fun, and interesting characters each with their own quirks and behaviors. But the difference that I found to be way more refreshing to me, was that this time around, interactions between the cast of characters and the Duck Detective is way more relaxed and natural. In the first Duck Detective game, the cast of characters. While lovable, were also archetypes of people who work in an office. Which made a lot of interactions with the cast of characters seem very professional at times. The sequel however takes a different approach and makes interactions between the cast of characters more personal, going into interesting topics while having more personality in dialogue and conversations. Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping presents an evolution in writing style and character personality, while still managing to make the deduction and detective systems still feel fresh and fun, and clocking in at a 2-3 hour completion time also makes it a great game to just jump into on a weekend. But that would probably be my only criticism this time around. Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is too short, and left me wanting this game to be longer due to how great the cast of characters were this time around. Happy Broccoli Games has knocked it out of the park again with a stellar sequel and continues on delivering quality games that make me want to see more of what they can do.
Short but really fun. Decently challenging but not to the point of breaking your brain. Great writing and voice actors, fantastic characters. I actually liked this one even more than the first!
Also I got rickrolled twice...once in each game. Really hope to see a 3rd game come out in the near future because I will buy it immediately.

Another amazing game from the Duck Detective, wonderful cast of charaters and an engaging mystery. Nothing new about the game play mechanics but it's just as fun as the first game. There is a slightly larger area to play with and there seemed to be a lot more side stories this time around. It's not a long game but it's a fun time.
Somewhat easier than the first game, however with a slighly larger area.
I hope this series continues, the voice acting and writing are both very entertaining.

That said, I enjoyed the first case a bit more. The characters didn’t feel quite as interesting this time, and the story didn’t hook me as strongly as before.
It’s still charming, cozy and well written, but it doesn’t quite reach the same level as the original.
Because of that, it gets one point less than salami case.

This game was so wonderfully fun and quirky. I thoroughly enjoyed the exposition, jokes, and the scenes that were in this. The best deducktions and doing it all for the bread.

I had both of these on my wishlist and my girlfriend gifted them to me for Valentine's. We played this in one take after beating the first one and found the mysteries in here to be equally as compelling and hilarious as the first game. They're building the foundations for a very solid series and we literally can't wait to play the third one (provided a third one is made).

I got this a gift for Christmas and after playing the first game, I quickly played this one. Charming like the first one, characters are fun and story was interesting but not overall confusing. I can't wait to see what the next installment for this series brings.

Fun, cute, well voice acted, and very short. For the price it's just fine, but I did find myself surprised when it suddenly ended.
And just like the first game, there were several times where the "deducktion" the game expects you to make simply doesn't make sense given the available information.
Even after solving a particular mystery, I sometimes couldn't figure out what clues where supposed to have led me there. It's weirdly sloppy for a game this short.
But I did like it - the addition of Freddy as a companion was welcome, and endearing.
An excellent follow up to a game that I already enjoyed.
This one plays much like the first, and with a story that has just as many twists and turns.
Like the first game a simple crime at the beginning leads to the exploration of a much bigger web of conspiracy and crime. This story does a great job of expanding on the setting and even has a sad and spooky ghost tale to add on to it.
Once again a solid recommend.
