If you get this game, follow a guide and achievement hunt it. Not because it's so hard and frustrating to figure out what to do, but because seeing all the unique bad endings where you die (many of which have an achievement tied to them) is half the fun. It's like a literary version of a game like Dragon's Lair with all the insane, over the top ways you can die.

"Disturbed" is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game.
We can at least breathe a sigh of relief with this e-book... because it's not a fan-fiction about the authors imaginary girlfriend (believe it or not, this is what most Steam e-books are about). Instead it's a depressing CYOA about a bad farmer.
This e-book isn't that linear and works more as a Choose Your Own Adventure, but the point still stands... nobody read a CYOA book and then said "Wow, what a great game I just played." Books aren't games.
This was slapped together with the godawful Ren'Py visual novel construction kit... enabling terrible authors to publish books as if they were games when otherwise we might have been spared the pollution. So, just like no professional writing took place here, no professional software development took place, either.
Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble out and you have to click your mouse every time you wanted to read the next sentence, instead of just turning the pages. You'd think it was garbage.
Now imagine that experience, but with much worse writing (because if these guys could write professionally, they'd be published authors and this would be on shelves in bookstores, and they wouldn't have to pay Valve $100 to self-publish this on Steam), and you have your average Steam e-book.
One of the chief problems with failed authors polluting Steam with non-game E-books is that E-books can easily just be presented in a web browser... there's no justification for charging money on Steam for what might as well be a webpage. We don't spend thousands on buying a gaming rig to spend money on Steam for something Chrome or Firefox could do.
While this E-book has no up-front cost, you can get better quality, professionally written books and comics for free online (from places like Project Gutenberg) or from public libraries. Steam isn't a comic book store, neither is it Netflix, it's for games. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. It's impossible for me to recommend things to PC gamers that aren't really games.

You are a farmer and something has been wrong lately, people are dying, shadows are lurking. The danger is everywhere. What will you do?
🟢The drawings have an amateurish, simplistic feel, but they are effective in what they depict. The music creates a good atmosphere of mystery.
You can save your game (it's not always the case for free games, that's why I'm telling you this).

It's also an appropriately short and not overly ambitious project (over-ambition being the undoing of many a newbie dev, in my opinion). All in all, while this is no great shakes in and of itself, I do look forward to whatever this Brad Moore fellow gets up to in future, as there's no denying the potential shown here. (Though I wouldn't mind seeing his rough sketches elaborated into more aesthetically complete images in future).

Simplicity means no music and sound effects are only heard here and there, plus, there are some typos but the game can also be played in other languages. 도전과제 추가용으로 좋은 게임이고 영문이지만 단어들이 어렵지않기 때문에 1시간 정도 해석해가면서 진행해도 별 무리는 없다.
게다가 플레이한 유저들이 많아서 가이드에까지 소상히 작성되어있으므로 별무리 없이 엔딩과 도전과제 달성이 가능한 게임이다.
내용을 이해하고 플레이한다면 20분 정도는 잡아야하지만 도전과제가 목적이라면 그냥 빠른 클릭으로 3~7분에 100% 달성이 가능한 게임.

Идти прямо - вы умерли. Идти направо - вы умерли. Потрогать грибы - вы умерли. Не трогать грибы - вы умерли. Стоять и просто дышать - да, вы угадали - тоже самое. Не дышать - вы умерли. А что с сюжетом? Да нет его тут. Описания в пару предложений - г*вно. Рисовка - г*вно. Единственная интрига и интерес, который тут может нечаянно возникнуть - это через сколько ходов ожидает смерть. Наверное это лучший образец того, как делать квесты не нужно. И в этом его единственная польза. Не нужно это качать, ну или можете - если хотите пострадать и бездарно потратить время.

У грі ініціатива за вами — вибираєте стежку, досліджуєте екрани з чорно-білими, вручну намальованими сценами, і просто намагаєтеся вижити. Кожен крок може обернутися смертю, це додає грі похмурої атмосфери: відчуєш себе не героям, а таким собі дурником, що постійно летить у прірву.
Графіка — чорно-біла, мінімалістична, але стильна: малюнки реально створюють відчуття готичного текстового роману . Саундтрек мінімалістичний, занадто навіть - не вистачає звуків і музики, які підкреслення сюжету.
Сюжет — похмурий, про боротьбу з собою, про вибір — убити себе чи спробувати врятувати світ.
Технічна частина: загалом стабільно, хоча бувають лаги при підвантаженнях.
Оптимізація в цій грі зовсім не тішить: збереження не працюють, кожна нова гра починається англійською мовою, яку щоразу доводиться змінювати вручну. А враховуючи, що для отримання всіх досягнень гру потрібно запускати не один раз — це починає добряче захарювати.
Що ще розчарувало —якість локалізації, тут сказати нічого доброго не можу. Він, звісно, є, але з купою помилок і часом жахливою якістю. Загалом, гра не дотягує до хорошої оцінки, навіть якщо глянути на неї крізь батярські рожеві окуляри.

E' una novel stile horror ben riuscita e di tutto rispetto per essere gratuita. Avrei preferito meno finali "Mortali" e qualche finale alternativo o neutrale. Per completarlo al 100% ci vuole circa un'oretta/un'oretta e mezza ma ne vale la pena se volete provare qualcosa di particolare.

Очень интересная новелла-головоломка. Собрала не все плохие концовки, но благодаря этому и множеству сохранений сумела пройти игру. Не слишком сложно, но достаточно интересно. Стиль истории очень лаконичный, ничего лишнего, но очень атмосферно.

Los únicos problemas que puedo darle es que podría tener una interfaz mejor (sobretodo porque hay partes donde puedes caminar en círculos) y que la traducción está algo rota (al perder e iniciar nuevo juego, se cambia a inglés, aunque lo tengas en otro idioma).

"Disturbed" – это визуальная новелла, которая короче, чем очередь в McDonald's в 3 ночи, но оставляет после себя больше вопросов, чем философский трактат Ницше после пятничных посиделок с друзьями.
Что тут есть?
🔹 Сюжет: Вы – чувак (или не чувак, хз), который... обречен (или нет) мрачная атмосфера – всё как в моей жизни, только тут хотя бы достижения дают.
🔹 Геймплей: Тыкайте в экран, читайте текст, принимайте решения. Да, это не "Dark Souls", но тут хотя бы не надо парироваться от вопросов "Кто я? Зачем я здесь?". Хотя... стоп.
🔹 Философия: Игра ненавязчиво намекает, что мир – это боль, люди – загадка, а единорог – возможно, единственный друг. Глубже, чем кажется, но не настолько, чтобы провалиться в экзистенциальный кризис.
Почему стоит попробовать?
✅ Быстро и достижимо: За 2 часа можно пройти и получить все достижения. Идеально для тех, кто коллекционирует их, как Pokémon.
✅ Атмосфера: Мрачновато, стильно, с налётом "что-то не так". Как будто смотришь "Чёрное зеркало", но без подписки на Netflix.
✅ Юмор: Нет, игра не смешная. Но осознание того, что ты потратил 2 часа жизни на разгадывание тайны – это уже неплохой повод для иронии.
Если вам нравятся короткие, но атмосферные новеллы с намёком на глубокий смысл (или его иллюзию), то "Disturbed" – отличный вариант. А если нет... Ну, достижения-то никто не отменял!

Депрессивная, для меня слишком перегруженная маршрутами, игра. В какой-то момент начинает подташнивать от ходьбы туда-сюда. Зато повеселило количество печальных концовок. В начале думаешь, окей, тут загрызли, тут траванулся, но еще столько вариантов, по-любому где-то же будет хорошо. А потом понимаешь, что нет - снова и снова ты...короче, снова и снова всё плохо.
P.S.: но в конце добро побеждает зло...более или менее :)

A fun point & click horror game with a great & simplistic art style with multiple endings. Also I believe the art is a bit different from in the pictures but I think it is better anyway. Only complaint is that it is pretty short but I also used a guide a little bit so its probably a bit longer.
Aunque no soy fan de ren'py porque produce en casi todos los casos novelas visuales o aventuras interactivas muy genéricas, este es un caso distinto. La ambientación es bastante buena y las rutas te conducen a distintas muertes, hay alguna ruta que quizás pueda ser problemática de conseguir sin una guía como es la del unicornio, que lleva al final bueno de la historia.
Quizás este sea uno de los pocos casos donde es necesario crearte un pequeño mapa para jugar y saber qué rutas te llevan a distintos finales y qué objetos pueden conseguirse.
Got every achievement in 1.5 hours its a free game its easy but besides that i enjoyed the visuals not very spooky and its obvious every choice leads to the very obvious endings it was good!

Al igual que todas las personas que recomiendan disturbed, lo recomiendo por su apartado artístico y porque te transmite esta agradable sensación independiente de “Juego creado por una sola persona”. Pero antes que lo juegues te aviso que los logros en Steam hacen que el juego no de miedo.

Esse jogo é maravilhoso, ele é curtinho, eu terminei em 1h e 10min e faltou só um achievement pra fazer. Mas não deixe isso te impedir de jogar esse jogo incrível, a historia dele, apesar de simples, te prende e te deixa curioso para saber mais sobre a lore desse mundo. A arte do jogo é simples e isso funciona muito bem nesse caso, a escolha das músicas foi impecável.

Disturbed cuenta una historia simple y lúgubre, pero puedo asegurar que si te esfuerzas (o lees una guía, jeje) conseguirás un final feliz.
I can tell the creator of this game put a lot of love into it. The art is quite beautiful and the puzzle that is the main plot of the game was enjoyable to unravel.
There are a lot of ways to die in this game, which is fun (but I could see it being infuriating for some. If you hate having to repeat yourself, make sure to use the save option as you go.
For a short Choose-Your-Own adventure game that comes at the price of free, you can't go wrong.

Weird (and yes disturbing) yet charming point-and-click. Great art. Fine puzzles. I wish I was able to 100% it, but I didn't care enough to. As far as free games go, it's worth your time for an hour or so.
