小学买的游戏，因为没中文，小的时候也不知道怎么打汉化补丁，所以放着一直没玩，直到大学重新在库里看到名字变成中文了，才知道过了这么多年竟然还更新了汉化，几天给打完了，剧情是老兵ptsd找回自我之类的，看不懂，但我觉得还不错，跑酷方面挺有意思的，感觉随便跑跑就能通关，除了那几个带骷髅头的关卡都很简单，点名《期待》卡了我一下午，很考验操作和识路，总之是一个好游戏，值得一玩

Отличная игра, хоть изначально и может показаться что она устарела, по итогу это не важно.
Прошел 4 концовки и несколько уровней потяжелее, дальше понял что контент не для меня, слишком сложно, а мне такое не надо!

indie platformer with great level design, deep intriguing story, nice art & music and a free & diversified movement system. movement is a bit clunky for modern standards but it has a charm to it. (tho grabbing ledges can be triggered when not intended frequently) learning curve can feel a bit too steep and only a small percentage of people can beat the hardest levels, would like to see more tutorial levels that break everything down or a "casual" mode with less strict energy management.

A platformer with a heart.
Its a game which strikes the right balance of fun and challenging gameplay. with controls that reward experimentation and mastery and in doing so, stays fun for hours on end. 10 years later and the game still looks beautiful and the soundtrack is excellent as well. The levels are of a decent difficulty until you reach the "skull" difficulty levels. I might end up skipping those as I don't have the patience to master those types of levels, but if you like a challenge that is where you'll find it! My one complaint with the game is that the enemies are the worst part - the shooting mechanic isn't the best, and the enemies only add frustration. Especially when they can shoot you off extended sections of walling running.

The game is worth checking out. I also liked that the developer/programmer can still be seen posting in the forums, and has even recently published updates for the game. That's pretty cool!

Cloudbuilt is clearly a passion project with plenty of love in it, and if you're into this particular kind of precision platforming with speedrunning potential, you might love it too. But as someone who only dabbles in it, I find the game a bit overly-fiddly and under-polished for my taste.

It's a 7/10 game that could have been an 8 or 9/10 game but the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shooter combat ruined a lot of the harder levels for me. The game mechanically is really fun traversing through the beginner and intermediate levels because the boost system works seamlessly with those beginner levels and allows you create different and fun routes to go through a level making those levels replayable as well. The harder levels however just overwhelm you with tons of enemies that become harder to dodge and put more of them along the wall forcing you to interact with this game’s terrible shooter combat. Only buy this game on a sale.

i bought this game years ago, played a level or two then forgot about it. Now I've rediscovered it while browsing my library looking for games to play on my Steam Deck and have fallen head over heels in love with it. The levels are challenging, the graphics have aged beautifully, the movement is solid, the story is compelling and the soundtrack slaps. The cherry on top? It has Steam Workshop support and a level editor.

A+ game. I'm nowhere near done with the story campaign but will definitely complete this game.

This is one of my all time favourite steam games, the music, the unique artstyle, and the amazing character controls and mechanics make for a game that I can't forget. This is a great and underrated 3D platformer with awesome movement, physics and general identity. It's not the most spectacular and isn't for everyone, but you should really consider trying it!

The main appeal of this game is the movement and controls. Controlling Demi here feels so good in almost every aspect. The wallrunning and climbing especially is fun because you have precise control on how you move on walls in this game. Once you get good, running across or jumping off walls will become as normal as moving on the ground and you'll be able to enter a state of just comfortably flowing around sections of the level. Your rocket gear allows you to boost around, but it's not to the point where you can just skip all of the level design. You'll have to manage your power meter to make sure you have enough to rocket boost or enough to climb up a wall. You'll have to carefully consider when you initiate a rocket boost because it depends on your velocity what effect rocketing will have. If you boost while you're just starting to jump, then you'll get a lot of height because of that strong initial upwards jumping force. If you're falling from a jump though, then instead of going upwards your rockets will push you downwards. It's momentum, your rockets multiply your speed and push you further in a direction instead of simply acting as moves that give you X amount of height or distance. This really allows for optimization of paths through levels and a fun showcase of one's skill.

The levels consist of floating structures and ruins in the skies. You'll be doing parkouring across platforms, doing some wallrunning straightaways or a lot of climbing up tall tower segments. You'll also have to worry about robotic enemies of many types and forms that will hurt you and interrupt your movement. There are some gameplay changing aspects such as structures that give you infinite power, drain your power or bounce you, but admittedly they only get added near the end of the game so you'll mostly be doing the same parkour for the majority of it.
The levels here are again not cakewalks allowing you to skip through them. You'll have to really experiment to find clever skips or exploits to cheese anything. With the DLC especially, this game can get brutally difficult. The level Desire for example which is part of the Defiance DLC set of levels took me 4 hours to beat. Luckily this game comes with a pretty forgiving respawn system that allows you to place your own checkpoints anywhere you want. You'll still need to learn the level enough though to do a good run and get higher rankings to unlock other levels.

There are a lot of workshop levels to play. The level creator itself is pretty hard to comprehend but people have been able to make very unique playing levels with it, from challenge courses to legit entirely working Metroidvania levels somehow. A lot of them seem to be quite difficult or focused on one aspect of the game instead of playing like the majority of the levels from the main game though, which means that you'll probably have to really like this game to enjoy most of them.

The premise of this game is that Demi is some sort of future soldier who gets severely injured and goes into an unconscious state. Every level is a dream of hers that represents something important. For most of the levels, you get dialogue from Demi regarding its meaning after you beat it. It's cool, but admittedly the dialogue seems too lengthy and I dislike how inexpressive the voice acting is, sounding the same for every line and every word. There are multiple endings for you to achieve through completing certain levels at the end of paths on the level map. Nothing that substantial comes from the endings though so I would say that the game lacks a satisfying conclusion. You'll just keep playing and unlocking levels until you see all the endings and are left with difficult challenges to beat.

The art direction here is really pleasing. The effects they applied to the visuals I say makes this game not age porly even though it's from 2014. It still can look quite beautiful aesthetically. The design of Demi is also pretty cool in my opinion and you can unlock a ton of alt skins if you wanna change it. The music for this game is great and probably isn't like what you've heard before. It's not one of the best soundtracks ever made but it's definitely above the quality of just being okay or good. It's worth a listen even if you're not going to play the game.

This is overall a worthwhile experience that doesn't seem to have been as successful as it probably deserved to be. You can wait for it to go on sale, but I personally would say it's worth the full-priced price-tag, especially because the devs are still updating it for some reason after all of these years.

Quite an enjoyable experience, this sort of game makes or breaks on the movement and controls but they really nailed it. There's enough freedom and momentum that you can skip chunks of some levels which always feels satisfying in pursuit of faster and faster completion times. I appreciate that they tried to tell a story here but I never felt as though I was ever contributing to it. I made it through 2 of the DLC levels but those are where the challenge really is (outside of speedrunning), and I'm happy to say I don't have the time nor skill to keep throwing myself at them.

A really good parkour third-person game, feels really good to wall run and time trial levels. However this is an old game, and you would think such an old game from 2014 would just be a cult classic, the developer would just move on right?

Apparently not, and they still update this game to this very day, and [b]added custom levels a level editor and steam workshop[/b] which is just mental.

Props to [b]Coilworks[/b], you didn't have to do that, and now this game has infinite replayability because of it.

My playtime is only 6 hours because i finished the campaign and all the endings really quickly and i thought to myself "yeah, this game is pretty fun, worth the time" but you can get so much more out of it then i did 8 years ago.

Don't let the low hours played fool you. I played this a ton on Playstation and was excited to pick this version up when I got a PC. This is clearly the better way to control it and maneuver. The game is super fast and you'll have a blast rocketing through the air and dashing up walls.

My only complaint, and it is massive, and one that I retain from all the time played before, is that some of the combat encounters are, um, simply not fun. You might find them challenging and maybe that's cool for you, but I don't really play this game to stop moving and peek around corners to snipe things. I play this game for rocket boosters! Yeehaw! Zip! Zing! I'm flying all over the freakin place! But then the drones come out and you can't kill them or things hidden by the environment are sniping you out of range and you need to navigate their bullets over a bottomless pit to even see what the hell is shooting you... Look maybe you'll like it.

This game's rad as hell and I'll always love it, but, unfortunately, it comes with a 'but.' It sounds like I'm really down on it but the super annoying frustrating why am i playing this game levels are in the minority. Most are the fun, fast, and enemy-free levels that let you move like a rocket pack is strapped to your back. Because it is.

cloudbuilt云境粗看像是一个泰坦天降风格的射击游戏，但是实际上更接近于3D化的洛克人，boost系索尼克一样的平台动作游戏。拥有巨大的赛道和高耸的巨塔一类的充分利用3D空间的关卡，boost系统带来了极强的速度感，同时鼓励玩家巧妙地运用资源。在这场庞大的冒险中还伴随着优秀的原声音乐。非常适合那些能从掌握移动技巧，串联动作，从高速移动获得快感的玩家入手。
游戏还有一部续作super cloudbuilt，很遗憾由于发行商缘故已经下架，希望有一天能再次回归

It's not a 3A game, the studio behind this game, Coliworks, even doesn't exist anymore. But this might be the longest gap between release date and last update I've ever seen on steam. The most incredible part is that it's not some simple meanless/fake update or even bug fix, but actually lots of updates on features. It's all because of the love from the developers. Especially that man, Gafgar. Homage to you, bro

This is genuinely a pretty fun game. It's a pretty rad booster based parkour game. I bought this years ago on a whim and enjoyed it. There was a rerelease of the game called Super Cloudbuilt that I bought too, but this, the original version of the game, has been getting updates from the devs. It shows just how much they care and I think more people should, at the very least, give it a try.

Controls took some getting used to, but gosh darn it's fun. Very nice skill curve. Enough struggle to make it feel like a real victory to beat a level but not so much that it ever feels impossible. And if you can run an area well it feels like absolute magic. Has good infrastructure to set your own challenge level. You can wander through the stages at your own pace or try for good times and/or challenge modes. Either way feels like an accomplishment

I usually hate this combination. but Cloudbuilt is good. Really good. probbably the best example of this genre I have ever played.
If you like challenging speedrun style games. check this out.
If you just want a pleasant 3d platformer, this is still worth your time.

This game is neat. It has a neat visual style and it has a story that seems interesting. It's not my kind of game, but if you like 3d platformers with wall running etc, it is probably something you'd like. You can turn down the artistic filters if you want the game to look a bit less jumbled.

I first played a 'Super' version of this game on my PS4 and absolutely fell in love with it. Its not for the fain't of heart or those with a heart condition. Before I could get this on other platforms it mysteriously disappeared like so many fantastic games. I passionately defended the 'Super' version on many a critics webpage. When I saw this game on Steam my heart dropped and I am so happy to have it in my library.. But ALL that being said - If you love a challenge and are driven to become a master - This game is for you. I love this game and will always love it. Thank you guys for re-publishing it.

I'm going to split up my review for this game between both Cloudbuilt and Super Cloudbuilt, but I found this one on a twitch stream when they were playing it a few year ago. I like it, but there were glaring problems with the style and mechanics that prevented the game from achieving full status of an excellent game, but I have sidetrack that to go over something that has become common today.

This game has 8k resolution, but the background beat the game into oblivion due to it just breaking under the style that it is using in the old-school resolution that it utilizes. I don't think that the game can be fixed without major renovations to the game itself, the formulas used (need a buff in the scale), and it's just one of the games that got super pulverized on a super high resolution.

Overall, I liked the game a lot, but right now, the game is too far from fixable to be able to fix the issue at higher resolutions. I cannot approve.

As of the Rendering Hatching Patch, I can easily say that the patch had the effect of scaling the etchings and lines appropriately at the 8k resolution, and provide a nice next-gen scaling that will allow the game to be future proofed.

It is greatly appreciated that the developer as addressed this issues. The video may take a few days to render in 8k, but overall, this is a resounding success for the 8k resolution and provide a much needed substantive content for the 8k resolution.

The game is approved.

The game is great, fast paced and with a extremely high skill cealing. I think it does a nice job on intoducing you to new mechanics and requiring more precise use of them during the levels... and after that you can nuts setting your goals of going faster and faster. The only downside is that sometimes the first runs at a new map doesn't seem to be fair as you don't have enough reaction time so you have to memorize the track.
Something not that important but impressive is that the developers still ship some updates 10 years after launch.

I enjoy that game quite a lot for it's fluid and momentum based gameplay. So, in short: recommended.

It's a rather short game as far as I can tell, but with tons of replayability.
The strongest point is the movement, although I needed a bit to adapt to it's unique quirks. Strafing while wall running seems unintuitive at first, but when accustomed, it's great.
If you can maintain your momentum it feels really fast and fun. That usually needs some scouting for a good path to keep up you fuel for boost, on the other hand these are good indicators on how to traverse points. There is still variety in the paths to choose and some extra lifes and extra checkpoints to gather.

Fighting against turrets and some crawling robots as well as a flying one that has a knack for pushing you off. I sometimes only incapacitated these critters only to be chased again. There is some fun to be had as there are some stages that feel a bit like urban warfare where you expect a turret after every corner. Over all I prefer if these turrets are used more sparingly, then you could just blast by or shoot them with one hit. Some are tankier and specially the robots need too much attention in my opinion. Of course, you can outrun them if you keep your momentum up, so this is likely a skill issue.

There are mines and static explosions as well that need to be avoided. These are mostly about timing. These can make you need a few tries to get it right. To me these were more annoying than helpful - but again, likely a skill issue.

At last there are levels that want you to just observe and find a path, with an occasional small turret. These levels are my favorite and in my opinion, the game shines the brightest in these.

I enjoyed the art style and music too, although the music has some bad entries that try too hard to pressure you. Some of the music is really enjoyable and brings the experience well together.

Lastly, the story that is positive and relatable enough although there is much that is left unknown. Maybe it will go further with it's theme of a recovering cyborg, but I don't expect to have missed much.

In conclusion the game itself can be frustrating in short moments while keeping you engaged and having fun. Due to the movement and the tight controls with it's well-thought through scheme it's a joy to play. It also delivers a unique aesthetic and atmosphere on top.

This game is amazing! It's what I hoped something like Deadcore would be. The movement is so fluid, giving you tons of control. It is a very intense game that I doubt can be played very well on a controller, though I have not tried.

Very excited to see what they do next outside of Cloudbuilt.

I've never been much of one for these sorts of games, but I saw it randomly recommended to me and it looked neat. Needless to say, I'm really enjoying this one. There is a clear theme and difficulty scaling in all of the branches to get you thinking more and more in the way it wants for that branch. I also like how there are just about always alternate ways and routes with little secrets, both actual and seemingly, spotted throughout to reward exploration. Art is stylized and nice, and the music is nice as well. I just wish the Super version would be available again! If it's only this but even more and improved then I'm absolutely sold.

Only a little over an hour in and this is already a pretty fun experience. The controls feel a little janky at first, but as you adjust to the unique style of gameplay it becomes a lot more fun, especially when trying out different parkour paths that seem more challenging. You'd think you could just speed through everything based off the game's trailer, but when actually playing there's a great deal of risk reward due to your energy meter, which makes those challenging routes feel much more rewarding to get through if you can pull them off without your meter running out on you. I also love the style the game is going for, it's sort of like a 3D Mega Man X but with speed based platforming similar to what you'd find in a Sonic game. If you're a fan of fast paced 3D platformers, give this one a go.

Edit: There are a few negative aspects I've noticed after playing for several more hours, though I would still very much recommend this game. Firstly, the story is kind of dull. After each level, the main character will go on a long-winded monologue that feels kind of meaningless when put next to every other monologue in the game. They each sound very similar and practically say nothing all that significant. The only lines that seem to matter are the ones at the end of the path you chose to play through, as they flat out say what ending you got. However, the levels themselves don't reflect the path you chose to go down, most of them have a similar aesthetic, which leaves you wondering how the ending you got to makes any sense.

This is excusable though, since the main draw to this game is the fun and satisfying gameplay. But unfortunately, the gameplay isn't free from flaws either. I noticed a few bugs while playing, but I'm not sure what causes them. Sometimes while simply moving your character, it will feel like they're getting stuck on some invisible force, causing movement not to be as smooth as it usually is. Also, while charging up and trying to aim a shot I noticed that there's a chance it will cause the camera to automatically cut to a different angle, which can hinder gameplay when trying to move quickly. The worst issue I experienced while playing though was the camera suddenly getting stuck in place when trying to respawn to a checkpoint, with the only solution being to exit to the hub and replay the level from the start. This wasn't too big of a deal to me early on, but as I got to harder/longer levels, it became a big issue. It's not a bug that happens frequently, but knowing it can come out of nowhere during a tough level is nerve-racking and when it finally does happen near the end of a tough level, it just makes you want to give up.

Despite these issues though, it's still a very enjoyable game and a rather fresh take on 3D platforming. I'm glad to see the levels get more challenging as I progress through the additional content and I'll be trying out some custom levels soon as well.

Some learning curve applies and the controls can sometimes get in the way but an overall clever platformer/pathfinder/parkour game with intense chiptune/retro/piano music. I only scratched the surface and have been enjoying it a lot regardless. There's a lot more to do for completionists or time trialers but the game still accomodates more casual styles.

Honestly felt pretty meh about this game overall, but I liked what it was going for and really dug the artstyle. I originally thought that the movement felt clunky, and even towards the end of my playthrough I still had moments thinking that, but once I really got the flow of parkouring down and started figuring out different movement techniques then things really started to click. You have so many different ways of progressing through a level, which was my favorite part of the game's design.

However, what really brought this game down for me were the enemies. The more difficult levels love throwing enemies at you in large groups, coming from several angles, littered about the place with no clear rhyme or reason behind their placements, hitting you with fast, long-range, huge knockback attacks, pinballing you to death as a group. Dealing with or finding ways past enemies never felt like a fun time as they greatly slowed the pace of things down, detracting more from the experience than whatever they added. Well placed traps and stage hazards very much did a better job of providing a reasonable, fun challenge. On that note, my favorite set of stages came from The Fog DLC, which had no enemies and focused purely on movement, routing, and good ol' platforming.

I'm not a speedunner, and this game lacked *something* that would otherwise inspire me to go for higher ranks in stages, but I'd still say the game is worth giving a try if you have any inkling of an interest in a time-attack 3D platformer. Just don't tackle the Defiance DLC stages until you really know you like the game.

PVほど爽快に走れるゲームではない感じ。
特に垂直のダッシュ挙動が滅茶苦茶重い
壁蹴りジャンプの操作と挙動が怪しくていちいちストレスにはなる。
操作のニッチさは減らしてなるべくレベルの難度でコントロールしてほしかった。
ブーストコントロールとか壁にしがみつく為のボタン操作とかはさせる必要ないと思う

単純レベル踏破のみでキャラビルドとかは特に無いので
一度飽きたら二度とやらんだろうなという感じ
値段相応といえば相応な感じはする

日本語化が入ったものの
いまいち頭に入ってこない翻訳してるのでストーリーは何が言いたい内容なのかよくわからんかった。

3D Mega Man with speedrunning as a focus, Cloudbuilt is packed with content such as a level editor and multiple endings. There are no boss fights so get used to your powers. The game received plenty of coverage back during its 2014 debut, but it never reached the success it deserves. PC is now the only place to play this game as the console ports were removed years ago. With the game still receiving updates, there has never been a better time to give this platformer another chance.

in my experience, cloudbuilt is like if neon white and celeste went back in time and had a baby together. but it doesn't have the sexed-up-ness of neon white or the emotionally-riveting-ness of celeste. it's also overall different enough from those two that i recommend all three.

Героиня находится в госпитале к подключенному аппарату восстановления. Их отряд попал под обстрел почти все погибли, но ей удалось выжить с сильнейшими травмами. Штука к которой она подключена контролирует нейронные связи мозга и помогает телу восстановиться быстрее и не сойти с ума. Со временем вспоминаются всё новые и новые моменты из жизни или задавая себе всё больше вопросов. Для неё всё происходит в голове, но что творится там? Время в реальном мире продолжает своё движение и что может её ожидать, когда она проснётся? Чем больше и дальше мы помогаем восстановиться от травмы, тем больше мыслей начинает посещать голову героини. Восстановление не затягивается и только от вас и мысленных изысканий зависит к чему может привести пробуждение.

Концовок в игре всего - ЧЕТЫРЕ. Каждая покажет состояние с которым может очнуться пилот пройдя те или иные испытания и принимая какие-либо измышления. Чем движемся ближе в одну сторону, тем дальше отдаляемся от другой. Пройдя все сюжетные линии конкретного ответа игра не даст, а лишь будет засыпать всё больше абстракциями. Что станет с героиней по итогу покажутся вкратце, а о мире вообще ничего не поведают.

Для меня каждый забег был, как новый. В каждой локации играет может быть пара треков и всё. Они зациклены, что-бы на уровне можно было провести и много времени. Каждое такое музыкальное сопровождение созданной с целью передать текущее состояние героини и испытания. Возьмём уровни без врагов - мелодия расслабляющая, возможно спокойная или побуждающая бежать. С врагами - тон уже более напряженный, состояние становится глубже и всё начинает тяготить, но мелодичность саунд никогда не теряет.

Что по стилям? Наверное электро, мб техно, но мне казалось будто чиптюн(знаю в этом жанре работаю от силы 2 коллектива). Процитирую с переводом описание к данной игре из официальной биографии автора “исследует более быстрый темп и интенсивное выражение с блистательными барабанами, синтезаторами и эпическим оркестром”.

Наверное неподготовленный глаз может и одуреть от того что будет твориться на экране, ведь перед нами будто оживший комикс с начертаниями от карандаша. В некоторых местах это мешает, но в большинстве своём быстро привыкаешь и радуешься.

Очень и очень красивые локации, они различны и сильно отличаются из-за попыток передать текущее состояние.

Безумной быстрый прям вух-вжух-вух и уровень закончился. Просто безбашенная скорость. У героини есть реактивный ранец благодаря которому она способна бежать вертикально вверх или по отвесной стене. Прыгать очень много и рассчитывать топливняк придётся. В наличии есть пистолет с обычными патронами и 2 видами заряженных, но просто бегаем и делаем пиу-пиу..

Прокачки нет. На уровнях можно найти контрольные точки для размещения, если ошиблись с местом всегда её можно 1 раз вернуть.

В наличии различные испытания, для тех, кто справился с компанией:

[*] Без патронов - пройти уровень без возможно стрелять. Там где много врагов - проще застрелиться. ОЙ!

[*] Хрупкий - 1 хит вас убивает.

[*] Маякм - собрать разбросанные по всей карте маяки. Придётся быть внимательным, ведь иногда их пихают в неочевидные места.

[*] Ассаулт - туре стреляют быстрее и снаряды летят быстрее.

[*] 2020 мод - пройти уровень, как можно быстрее, но с ребалансом уровней в 2020г.

В данной рубрике я бы хотел рассказать о том, чего лишилась игра в версии [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/AxelBlade/recommended/463700/] Super Cloudbuilt [/url]

Потерялась отличная идея больницы по которой бродит героиня. С каждым пройденным уровнем она расширялась. И пути были очень ветвистыми. потерялась секретная концовка и невероятно красивые локации. Уровней было куда больше в сравнении с тем, что мы имеем.

Пропала идея реиграбельности. После пройденного уровня вас мог вести золотой дух для прохождения локации с ограничениями и ваши рекорды сразу шли в таблицы лидеров. Не нужно, как здесь после прохождения уровня переключаться и играть в другом режиме. К слову прохождение уровней давало апгрейды, которые применялись разово на локации.

Пистолет потерял второй режим стрельбы. Да! У него был альтернативный режим, позволяющий стрелять взрывными шарика способными вас подбрасывать, как вверх, так и в стороны.

В добавку! Из-за потери описанной выше механики пропал и режим под названием “Без нитро” у вас просто 0 топляка и единственно на что остаётся рассчитывать, на своё умение рассчитывать дистанцию и грамотное применение взрывов тех самых шариков. Я процитирую самого себя из обзора.

- “Вы не можете ускоряться, парить в воздухе и делать красивые прыжки. Как у меня с данного челленджа пригорало. В каждом челлендже вам объясняют его суть,а тут перед нами стена метров 6, 30 топлива и пистолет. Как лезть чёрт знает. Переведённая подсказка никак не помогает. Спустя часов 6 игры увидел прохождение уровня человека на скорость. И о боже, как он лепил эти снаряды на стены и тем самым ускорял себя. Я решил запотеть и смог понять прелести. Тут регает тонкий тайминг и ощущение траты топлива. Вообщем - это мой самый любимый режим стал. Пройти уровень и потратить 0 топлива - верх мастерства. Настоящему воздушному мастеру оружие нужно не для убийства.” (с)

Потерялись прикольные апгрейды, которые можно было бесплатно получать после завершения миссии.

Покупал игру знал, что меня здесь будет ожидать, ведь я потратил на Super Cloudbuilt 17ч. Потратил 125р со скидкой 75%, ведь уже достаточно поиграл в Super версию и хотел ещё раз поддержать разработчика, при фулл прайсе 419р. За фулл прайс игра будет чертовски хороша.

В данной версии появилась поддержка уровней комьюнити, что любой игре будет на пользу. На к сожалению большинство рекордов поставлены не знаю кем. Как вам за 12с пройти любой уровень?

Not great. Feels like the game favours style over gameplay. could be quite fun but the visuals and art get in the way too much. The artistic nature of it might have been something the developers wanted but it's not for me.

Parkour, jetpack e proiettili.

Il titolo potrebbe già riassumere la sostanza di Cloudbuilt, ma c'è molto di più. Siamo nei panni di una soldatessa cyborg che deve "tornare" (capirete dalla storia), e per farlo deve affrontare diversi livelli che si diramano verso molteplici finali (a seconda della zona dalla quale uscirete, ci sarà un finale differente). Il punto forte sono i livelli, sospesi nei cieli, per raggiungere l'uscita dei quali sarà necessario correre sui muri, arrampicarsi col jetpack, fare salti poderosi e precisi... il tutto mentre si è bersagliati da torrette e robot, magari sparando a mine e barriere e tenendo d'occhio il carburante del jetpack. Vi assicuro che talvolta vi verrà voglia di tirare giù qualche santo, ma la soddisfazione di completare un livello è unica. La grafica è pulita, disegnata con un effetto matita molto piacevole. C'è già Super Cloudbuilt, ma vi consiglio di giocare anche a questo gioco, sebbene sia ormai un po' vecchiotto (ma invecchiato bene).

Usually games do not stand the test of time. Unless they are exceptionally good. This game was made in 2014 and well, this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOMB AS ♥♥♥♥! This game is INSANELY good. I am shocked. I bought this game and was afraid it wouldn't be good anymore. But it is great. The controls are cool. The ideas and creativity is amazing. And the dev is still updating it which was the main reason I pulled the trigger and bought it. I'm very impressed with this game and you will be too. It's cool, the parkour feels great, the game looks great, etc. This is legit a good game and well worth your hard earned moneyz. I'm stoked I bought this!!!!!!!!!! And WOW SCREW the critics and the metascore. This game is a victim of being FAR ahead of its time and shows critics do not KNOW ♥♥♥♥. This game handles like a dream.

Yes I've only played for 2 hours, doesn't matter. Those were a really fun 2 hours. I'm a speedrunner and this game is built to appeal to speedrunners. The game combines 1st person shooting elements in a 3D Speed/precision platformer. The game design lends itself very well to mouse and keyboard, and I generally don't enjoy that as much, hence why I never stuck it out for more than 2 hours. If you like mouse and keyboard controls, have decent aim, and love speedrunning, this game is worth a shot because the speed tech is very satisfying to pull off, and I gathered that by only scratching the surface.

[b]Cloudbuilt[/b] is a 3rd-person platformer with an emphasis on speed. Each stage will test you in its own way, with early stages simply asking to get from point A to point B, while later stages demand more careful maneuvering. Threats ranging from obstacles of the explosive kind, to turrets and electric fences on walls, the fun never ends. For the competent completionist, the savvy speedrunner, and those that hate themselves, there are multiple game modes for each stage to further test your skills and, don’t worry, each one requires an S rank to get full achievement completion!

[h2]The Sky isn’t the limit, you are![/h2]

So begins the story of [b][i]Demi[/i][/b], a wounded soldier on the difficult path of recovery. As she lay on the hospital bed, the machinery patching up her body, she’s left to rebuild her shattered mindscape, alone. Each stage represents a part of her mind’s space, for lack of a better term, and [b][i]Demi[/i][/b] will come to a different conclusion depending on the path you choose to take. What’s really neat though, is how the recovery process is presented to the player: Her perspective heavily influences the conclusion she comes to, leaving her either extremely torn or sad, rather happy and optimistic, or some kind of middle ground. Its not revolutionary story telling by any means, but it represents the struggle of coming to terms with what you cannot control and conveys the struggles the mind faces in times of trauma. Every stage is nothing more than an obstacle for her to overcome.

As much praise as I’ve thrown the story’s way, the real meat of the experience is the gameplay. Stages are designed with an emphases on speed and branching pathways, basically offering more than one way to finish a stage and reward those with perfect precision. To get an S rank, you’re definitely going to need platforming prowess in spades, as well as muscle memory magic. The need for that finesse becomes most apparent when turrets and mines make their debut, sometimes even together in close proximity. Lovely!

[h2]So How Does She Cloudsurf?[/h2]

She doesn’t, but what [b][i]Demi[/i][/b] does do is wall run, dash, and shoot things. The gun is useful for dispatching turrets and other enemies that just serve as roadblocks, and pulling off some cool jump tricks that I’m no good at doing, but them’s the brakes. To complete any level, assuming you’re playing one of the normal modes, you simply have to reach the end as fast as you can and before you run out of lives.

Level layouts can differ depending on the mode you select. I’ve alluded to these before, but the only two worth presenting to a reader interested at face value are the Normal and 2020 modes. Normal mode is what the game had to offer during release, level design and all, untouched and unchanged. If you feel the game is far too demanding is far too demanding, or just want a calmer relaxed gameplay experience, 2020 mode will be more your speed. 2020 mode was added in, well, 2020, and the stages have been revamped and the life system is removed. Its really nice that this mode was implemented, as it helps rope in more potential players, since some don’t want to pain themselves with such hard challenges, and fewer still can muster the will to complete the hardcore speedrun times needed for S rank in Normal mode.

[h2]Presentation and Sound Design[/h2]

The sound design is done delightfully well. The soundtrack has quite a few bops, but I’m very fond of the title screen theme.

Visually, everything has a filter that makes it look like the screen itself is drawn with digital color pencils. An interesting choice, it adds charm here.

I had a lot of fun with [b]Cloudbuilt[/b]. I really tried to go for all the achievements, even told myself I wouldn’t write this review until I did. You can see how fast I caved in on that promise, but for good reason. The time and dedication to get all those levels completed with S rank… Its inspiring to me people can muster the strength to get that far, speedrunning exploits or otherwise. If you’re a speedrunning enthusiast, or into platforming and obstacle maneuvering puzzles, this game is for you.

I would definitely recommend the game because its a beautiful and adventurous game with little but great and fun content. I also would recommend it to people that just wanna play games that are short and fun. 9/10 was very pleased with my decision :)
