just didn't do anything for me. Boring and not particularly unsettling or thought provoking in execution.
Kept interrupting me
My life has only gained true meaning after playing this masterpiece of a game. I truly looked into the eyes of god and he said unto me CLICK IT...
If your new internet friend buys you this game, and tells you to play it on stream.....
Just don't. Its weird. It makes no sense. and I feel like i should douse myself in holy water.
-20/10
Thank you for coming to my tedtalk.
P.S. I now truly need more therapy than i could ever afford. Thank you america.
I guess it's easy to call this game a sucess in that it elicited the feeling it wanted from me, being that I wanted it to end as quickly as possible. Though my playtime contained the feeling of discomfort that it sells, it is mostly a boring experience: moments of silence and vigorous clicking are punctuated beautifully with some well placed dialogue, but the game is mostly vigorous clicking.
Was ok. Could've used voice acting
this made me so incredibly uncomfortable and it makes it even worse to think that this is DEFINITELY someones fetish
Quite relaxing experience with a calming soundscape, very asmr. About it being a horror game:
It's not really scary, there are no jumpscares and only occasional sudden movements from the guy in the armchair
Good idea, bad execution. The game revolves around making you uncomfortable through the creepy guy, and they didn’t even bother to voice-act the lines.
click
You get exactly what the description says. Still seems a bit expensive for the experience, but I will not refund it as to support the developers.
Also, if you do play this game, there is more gameplay post credits and make sure to use the space bar to save your fingers.
Has one idea. Maybe.
crazy game
Very creepy. If you like the feeling of being uncomfortable, this game is for you.
Weird little experience which is what I love about gaming.
OMG man, Give me my time back pls. I will never get my 30 minutes back
Tries to be more than it is. generally quite boring with a low baseline gross feeling of being told what to do. for a very short experience and a very cheap price its maybe a different experience than other games but certainly more of a talking point that something worth playing
Huh.
zikirmatik simulasyon
a unique experience that'll make you uneasy, amused, repulsed, slightly aroused, and shocked all at once, and finish in a climax you won't see coming.
This game made me uncomfortable.
maybe my expectations were too high or I was expecting something more eventful.
it's really not. you click a bunch and the game ends and that's about it.
Weird, awkward… and oddly hypnotic
3241… 3242… 3243… I picked this up during a 30% sale for €2.09 without really knowing what I was getting into - and honestly, I’m still not sure whether I was the dominant one or the submissive one in this strange little “clickolding” session in a questionable hotel room. 3244… 3245… 3246… The gameplay itself is simple, repetitive, and a bit uncomfortable by design, but that’s exactly what makes it so oddly compelling. You keep clicking, watching the numbers rise, and somehow you just want to see what happens next. 3247… 3248… 3249… Small technical touches help the flow too - being able to use the space bar (or just hold it) instead of hammering the mouse button is surprisingly welcome after a while. 3250… 3251… 3252… There are only two achievements, which feels like a missed opportunity for something more creative, and there’s no saving system either, so you’re basically committing to the whole 30–50 minute experience in one go. 3253… 3254… 3255… Still, for the price it’s a weird little curiosity that manages to stick in your head longer than expected. 3256… 3257… 3258… No real replay value, but definitely memorable. 3259… 3260… And seriously - don’t skip the credits! 🔢🖱️🫠
Le jeu préféré de Morsay? CLIQUE SAL*PE, CLIQUE!!
Short, weird experience. I wouldn't quite call it horror but it is a little unsettling in places. Fun!
👀
It's a classic.
This game is an honest attempt to capture how creepy a cuck can be, but I couldn't exactly get immersed. There are some game-y elements that pull you out, as well as the pain from clicking 10,000 times.
I....what did I just do.
do NOT play this game if you're clicker trained
Genuinely there just aint another game like this.
Great to stream for a friend. Equally great to enjoy alone.
This one was a whirlwind of emotions that I don't think I'm capable of putting into words. Weird? Absolutely. Sad? Shockingly, yes. The length is mostly dictated by how fast you're able to click and stands at somewhere around an hour for me, but I still enjoyed it.
Good clicker game with amazing lore, very relaxing
what the ♥♥♥♥
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I just wasted 30 minutes of my life on this
can't. stop. clicking.
Found it sort of dry and repetitive tbh, just not my thing.
yeah you like that don't you?
The entirety of the gameplay is just clicking, but the atmosphere is unsettling and there are plenty of implications to read into.
Good for it's price and I get why people praise the vibes, but it overall just didn't click with me (Ha).
I'd still recommend it for the price since I know plenty of people are into this kind of game.
Sensual
i like to click and have fun
This is a vapid game with gross characters that muses on artistic means that I don't care to explore. If you want to feel gross and creeped out, then go ahead. I'm sure there's something worthwhile under the hood, but for me, it's a no.
The concept of the game is really interesting and I got sucked in to it. But there's no way to save your progress. When I stopped, I had to start all over again.
Here's my video so you can decide for yourself.

omg what a game
10/10
I'd click for 4k, easy.
Got recommended to me by a friend, neat. I guess. Interesting to play with people watching but I don't know how much you'd like it if you played it by your lonesome. Good atmosphere though.
I now sympathize and understand the way of the CLICK
Found a game of the one kink I don't have and got to experience it as a passenger. Very unique, encapsulating, and quite an informative window into this realm. Game was dark but not overly gratuitous, would recommend if you're weird.
Wow. 10/10
I actually like the concept but the "game" does not really do anything interesting with it. There would have been so much potential to make this actually creepy and a thoughtful meta-commentary. But it's really just a confused nothingburger with a rather sloppy technical execution. Not worth the time.

What a bizarre game. I went into this unsure what to expect, mostly because of the title, and some bad reviews. But it's a really unique kind of game experience to be had, so I am glad I played it.
At its core, Clickolding is about repetition and endurance: clicking an absurd number of times while a man in a seedy hotel room talks to you and gives you instructions. Mechanically it’s extremely simple, but the game is less interested in challenge than in how it feels to comply, to persist, and to sit with monotony under observation. There is something about this that really gets to you on a personal level, at least in the beginning (more on that in a second).
A quick practical note: I really wouldn’t recommend playing this on Steam Deck. The walking and interaction controls barely work, and playing this with a touchscreen is really really intense on your fingers.
What worked best for me is how visceral and experiential the setup is. Being told to stand in specific places, to perform meaningless actions, and to slowly realise how long it takes to click 10,000 times is a really visceral and unique experience. There’s a lot of space for the player to reflect during those stretches, and that’s where I found the game most effective and interesting. (Maybe in the same sense that one would find a piece of performance art interesting, if that makes sense)
Where it lost me a bit were two things - first, the game starts being repetitive. The things you have to do are always very similar, and it takes out the shocking factor the game has in the beginning. And the second thing that bothered me was the narrative direction it ultimately takes. Without getting into spoilers, the story introduces elements that felt unnecessary to me. The core strength of the game is the rawness of the situation itself, and I found myself wishing it trusted that more instead of adding to it with additional plot beats.
Overall, this is a memorable and thoughtfully uncomfortable short experience. It won’t work for everyone, and that’s clearly by design. Even with some reservations about the ending, I’m glad I played it - it’s the kind of game that sticks with you more for how it made you feel than for what it explicitly says.
nope
It's the philosophical version of bongo cat
I did not enjoy this game.
Nice and weird, it's an anti-idle clicker. No automating away your free time here.
Don't waste your time on this steaming pile of dead dogs, unless if you like being someone's ♥♥♥♥♥ in a dingy old motel room, then it'll be right up your alley.
A creepy man sitting in a chair, wearing a mask, telling me where I’m allowed to stand and look, while ordering me to click faster or slower until he starts doing some weird movements in his chair and finally relaxes?
Sounds like a typical Saturday. only its on my PC and Anytime I want.
10/10 game!
click
This game combines my two favourite things, Clicking and depictions of suicide.
If you are up for clicking 10,000 times (11k for the achievement) then by all means pick this game up.
10/10 would click again.
dale duro a ese botón papi
What a strange game. Clickholding is somewhat of an experience rather than a game. If you're into video games that seem more like an art project this game might be for you. I beat the game in just under an hour so if I'd say pick this game up if you have any extra steam balance and aren't sure what you can get for under $5. I do think there are better games in this price range though. 6/10.
Creepy AS HELL, the Pun is perfect, not a lot of gameplay if you are into that
i really enjoyed the game and its weiredness
Achievement Hunters:
Do yourself a favor, speed run the game. For the achievement that isn't given to you right away: get to 10,000 clicks as quick as you can and then stop right there, don't click one more time until you get past the credits. Click to 1000 while walking around the room, interact with the rabbit. Boom. 100% achievements.
Afterwards, go hug your cat, pet your dog, watch a cute video, purify yourself from the gross violating greasy feeling you get after playing the game. Do things that make you happy and appreciated as a human being. I know this seems oddly specific, but trust me: just be prepared to not be happy or feel appreciated as a human being.
To the devs: How odd is it that video games are one of the only art forms that can make you feel the way this game makes you feel. I'm not sure if well-done is the right word in terms of... well having fun, but you've managed to make me feel something for a specific group of victims that I couldn't understand until I played this game. Games are an art form, and this is art. New levels of empathy unlocked.
3$ for a game you really only have to play for 30-40 minutes. But it's a game you won't ever forget. I'm not gonna forget how this game made me feel at least.
Recommending purely for the effort went into creating this psychologically intensive game, and believing that the world would be a better place if more people knew you could feel these emotions. It would make better people that care.
Deeply unsettling experience.
While the gameplay is not much to write about, it is a genuinely interesting story on kink and sexual desire told via game.
A Man, A Motel Room, and A Clicker
[Clickolding was played multiple times over an hour with default settings on PC. All achievements were unlocked. Spoiler warning because I will be talking about the plot and details of the game]
Clickolding, created by Strange Scaffold and directed by Xalavier Nelson Jr is a truly strange experience. I don't really know where to even begin so let's start with gameplay.
The gameplay and mechanics of Clickolding is extremely simple. You can look left and right using the A and D keys, move forwards and backwards using the W and S keys, interact with items using the E key, and most importantly. You can press/hold the space bar or left mouse button to click the clicker. Outside of the listed controls, the whole game revolves around clicking around a motel room and interacting with the world, changing things based on the directions of a masked man.
The plot of Clickolding however, is where I can safely say that Clickolding is strange. Upon starting the game, you see a masked man staring at you. In your hands is a clicker, and you are asked to click the clicker. Throughout the game, you are asked to click the clicker in various spots and in various conditions. Whether it be clicking the clicker in the bathroom, or turning on the thermostat to click in the cold or heat. But while playing through the game, I felt extremely uncomfortable.
Clickolding proposes the 'what if' idea of a person watching you click a clicker. On its face, there should be nothing wrong or uncomfortable with that situation. But Strange Scaffold flips the idea on its head by creating an environment where an unknown masked man watches you click a clicker and gives you instructions on how to click based on his own wants. It is a strange and intimate experience that becomes very uncomfortable fast. At first, I was completely curious as to why I had a clicker and why there was an odd masked man staring at me from a chair. I decided to entertain the idea by clicking the clicker a few hundred times, and that was when this game became something deeply uncomfortable. It was not a huge or shocking thing that was asked of me, but the masked man asked me to open a window, and wouldn't let me click until I opened said window. When this happened, I realized that something was wrong and we as the player were entertaining the whims of a random stranger with possibly nefarious intentions.
I do not consider Clickolding a horror game, but instead as a delve into the uncomfortable and the eeriness that comes with the uncomfort. The longer the player clicks, the more manic and uncomfortable the masked man becomes, until the ending of the game happens. Clickolding is impressive because it creates a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere with what little space and mechanics are used. That space is used to the game's advantage, while we do not always see the masked man watching us. Due to the small and cramped space we occupy, we as the player know that the masked man is always watching us. This uncomfortable atmosphere comes to a disturbing end when the masked man kills himself and the credits roll.
After the credits have finished rolling, we see we are now in the aftermath of the room we occupy, with the dead masked man in the corner and the clicker still in our hand now smeared with blood. Without spoiling anything that comes after this point, Clickolding delves into the existential by subverting the player expectations and leaves me with an unsettling and uncomfortable experience that I will not be able to explain no less forget.
Overall Clickolding is extremely simple, but creates a unique environment and atmosphere based on uncomfort. It may not be mechanically deep, but as an experience it is very deep and leaves me deeply unsettled by the 'what if' scenario that Strange Scaffold and Xalavier Nelson Jr dare to propose.

Go to therapy dear dev, love the game tho
maybe I don’t want to change the damn temperature again?!?!
softlocked me. also has a bad narrative and bad gameplay.
Keep clicking. I like that.
Aburrido
Not for me. Clicking 10000 times was actually not fun.
I feel uncomfortable and my finger hurts
Love it
click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click
I like walking simulators and being told a story just fine, but this was far too boring. I'm sure the subtle creepiness escalates but I called it quits after 1/2 hour and 5000 clicks. Interesting idea, deeply un-fun to experience, and not in the cool "unsettling way" just boring.
this game is so depressing but thats what its meant to be
if you're boring you'll love it
So uncomfotable....(as intented). I liked it, definitely creeped me out. Turn off all your lights and play with headphones for the best experience.
well that was a waste of time and money. and it wasn't that creepy too.
A weird uncomfortable and (kinda) annoying experience, you should play it. Just take some breaks, and click.
10000/10000
It was definitely a game that I played! It didn't take a very long time to complete, only played for longer to get receive what cards weren't given to me. There is technically a story, don't think it is too complicated but it was an interesting game. You get the idea of the game if you've seen it for five minutes or looked at the trailer, it was more interesting watching other people's reactions to this game but I think it was intriguing enough to play myself just to experience it. Game takes as long and as slow you click, or you can just hold the button for it to click for you at a rate of about 4 or 5 a second. Get it if you want, it was well polished, different if that's a good thing, and plenty of clicking.
I played this game while my partner watched from the couch. I don't know what that says about me but this was a fun experience. strange scaffold can make me do anything and my will is not my own.
Schneller! Bitte!!!
super damn awkward.
An incredibly unique experience and game
