I really like Chronicon and I recommend it!! Lots of things I like about it, a few things I don't, but it's a very worthy ARPG that's deserving of your time, do not hesitate to catch it on a sale.
Things I like: very zoomy! Very easy to get a coherent build going across skills, passives, and legendary gear drops. Good controller support and very playable on Steam Deck with some tinkering of the scalable UI, both handheld and docked. Good enemy variety and lots of great animations that really make you feel chaotic when get an insane streak going. Infinitely farmable passive skill trees for endless scaling.
I spent about 40 hours leveling and building up a Templar on the Wrath tree, which was the lightning tree. I wanted at first to do a sort of chain lightning thorns build, but then I found a number of legendary and true legendary drops that completely transformed my build into one where the ultimate, a juiced up clone of the Templar, want from temporary to permanent and I have five copies summoned at once, so I just ran around while my clones did all the slaying. My main character, however, was tremendously squishy and I could not reliably clear any anomalies above Mythic 12. Ah well. A failure, but really incredibly fun.
It was really satisfying to go through the leveling process, get interesting drops, and organically identify synergistic build opportunities. It's very important to me in an ARPG that build synergies are organically discoverable without needing to consult a build guide, and this game makes that very accessible.
Some things I don't like: unforgiving RNG. There's no sort of knockout system for legendaries or true legendaries so if you really really need a drop to define your build, which was the situation I found myself in for about 10 hours, you gotta just keep grinding it out. I'd love to see an update that improves on this (an idea would be to create a huge currency sink to eliminate certain items from the drop pool). I also don't sense that the base classes are entirely distinct. When I got done with my Templar, I went to make a Warlock and found looking through those skill trees that they are roughly analogous to the Templar options. It would be easy to say "these are the same classes in different colors" and I think that would be rude, but I don't know that there's a whole lot there. I might come back for a second round in a future update and revise this point.
On the whole, very little to complain about, really enjoyed the 50 hours I got out of this, I would love to spend another 50 leveling and gearing up with a future update or DLC.

Excellent ARPG, it gives me that serotonin boost that other similar games can't, no matter how much MTX they add.
This game has a lot of replayability; although there seem to be few characters, you actually have many possible working builds and variations, different difficulty levels, crafting, a good loot system, filters, and it has couch co-op for up to 3 players, which is great for playing with friends. The only thing it needs to be a 10/10 would be LAN co-op, otherwise it's a 9.9/10.
Buenisimo, llevo la mitad de la campaña apenas con 20h, como puede ser? pues porque el juego es demaciado facil a pesar de ponerlo en Heroico, por suerte se puede cambiar la dificultad en cualquier momento, la cantidad de objetos, habilidades, combinaciones, Builds etc lo hace muy satisfactorio ademas de lo caotico que se pueden tornar algunos combates con las hordas de enemigos. lo recomiendo al 100% joyita oculta, aguanta jugarlo en su maxima dificultad

For me this was a solid snack-sized ARPG.
It’s noticeably an indie game: controls and UI are a bit janky, and moment-to-moment combat can get visually noisy. If you try to play it like a traditional “stop and evaluate every drop” ARPG, it doesn’t feel great because there's too much ground loot of low value.
The game really clicked once I leaned into its intended flow: keep moving, keep killing, and use the loot filter aggressively to avoid interrupting myself. Once I filtered down to rares/uniques and let auto-pickup handle things, the experience became much smoother, almost zen.
Once my build (ranged with some retaliation) started to come together, procs and synergies stacked up, and I was mostly watching my “machine” do its thing while pushing forward.
For me, that was enjoyable for a few nights, but I burned out once the pattern was clear. It's alright, because that's how many games go for me. The systems are interesting, but the moment-to-moment gameplay doesn’t have enough variation for me to play long sessions.
If you’re looking for a low-friction ARPG where you can experiment with builds and just mow through enemies without much pressure, this does that well. Just don’t expect it to hold your attention for dozens of hours unless you really enjoy the loop.
My playtime is low, but writing this to make it known that controller support is finally in, and this game runs perfectly on my Retroid Pocket 5 (Snapdragon 865) through Gamehub and I couldn't be more excited. Compatibility Proton 9, CPU translator Box64 b1. No other changes needed. Finally going to experience this gem that's been sitting in my library for far too long.

So far it's really a great game. Itemization and build diversity seems to be second to only Path Of Exile. Surprisingly fantastic game. Definitely recommend for any ARPG enjoyer!

Je n'en suis qu'à six heures, je mettrai sûrement mon avis à jour plus tard — mais j'avais envie de partager ma bonne impression dès maintenant.
Ne vous laissez pas décourager par le pixel art, on s'y fait vite et ça a son charme. Le gameplay est agréable, ça se joue clavier/souris un peu comme Path of Exile 2.
Ce qui m'a vraiment convaincu : c'est un hack'n'slash x survivor avec de vrais arbres de compétences, une vraie itémisation, et ce n'est pas un roguelite. Ce genre de combo, c'est rare.
Le jeu a encore des trucs à peaufiner — la localisation française déborde pas mal des interfaces, et il y a quelques petits détails à revoir — mais rien de rédhibitoire. Le potentiel est clairement là.
Si le dev continue à bosser dessus pour polir ce diamant brut, je pense que ce jeu peut vraiment trouver son public, car c'est mérité.

Llevaba una espada que lanzaba rayos, un escudo que embestía a los enemigos, un aura de odio que me subia el daño, una onda de relampagos que reventaba todo a mi alrededor, unas botas que espacian charcos de veneno mientras caminaba, invocaba 3 espiritus que atacaban y hacian daño con respecto a mi fuerza y por ultimo la habilidad espinas que si me tocaban hacia tanto daño que los enemigos explotaban.

当这个游戏多次出现在各个类暗黑刷子游戏的推荐榜里时,我对这样一个画质粗糙技能简陋的游戏不禁感到疑惑,到底是怎样优秀的玩法设计才能让各位老刷子抛弃这么多缺点并推荐它,于是趁着打折我即刻购入并进行了约60H的深度游玩,而Chronicon也确实没有让我失望.
出色之处：
(1).装备从爆出即是完全体,不用刷词条、不用刷roll值、不用刷词缀、甚至连等级也可以不用刷。相比于其他游戏里“瓦”装备上限时需要承担失败的风险,本作所提供的是一种极其稳定的装备打造模式,只要材料充足,便可以将所有装备轻松打造出所需要的所有属性词条。
(2).BD更换方便快捷,同时动态难度机制鼓励玩家去尝试各个不同流派玩法。得益于(1),在通过一套完整的BD积攒大量材料后,玩家可以轻松制作大量装备以尝试不同的玩法,而评价强度的无尽层数则是动态难度设置,不会有非常明显的强度焦虑,而且可以通过“军械库”一键换装和存配置。
略有不足：
(1).地图设计存在极大问题,特别是前期初见时,没有位移、没有地图、同时移速还低的一批的时候，整个地图采用随机生成,在没有道具时无法看到出口,探图流程基本上就是到处跑把迷雾开完然后在这个过程里就无数次的撞见死胡同和死角,形成了类似迷宫的探索体验,十分便秘坐牢。同时小地图设计也存在不足,大小设置不合理,在遇到大地图时基本整个屏幕都是地图,基本看不见人物,只能全程看着地图上的小点移动,若是缩小成小窗又看不见出口和宝箱，左右脑互搏的感觉。
(2).职业技能设计趋同,缺乏特色和创新。拿守望者举例,基本四个系的前两个主动技能都一模一样,基本全是射箭和召唤,不同的只有属性,体现到游戏里就是不同的颜色,和不同样子的宝宝,包括职业被动也是,基本都是在使用本系技能时额外触发本系伤害爆炸或者DOT,只有在较为后期的技能树里才会出现比较明显的区别，不同玩法间基本全靠套装效果形成不同玩法,个人认为技能才应该是角色之间区别的体现。
(3).游戏本身深度较低,作为单机非赛季制刷宝游戏，不可避免的就是在各种材料和装备都积攒的差不多过后逐渐失去刷的兴趣,特别是在打造装备如此简单的情况下,会缺乏继续游玩的动力,但能够带来数十小时的快乐也已然足够,毕竟我也受够了因为一条词条刷几个小时的经历了。
结语：虽然第一眼看上去本作可能只是个粗制滥造的小游戏,但若是愿意花时间去研究和钻研，在能接受缺点的前提下，本作将会带给你一次与众不同的刷宝体验。推荐刷宝游戏爱好者购买游玩。

This is a great ARPG. Don't let the pixel graphics fool you, this game has depth, great QoL and it's so fun. You can experiment with builds with no penalty, so try whatever you want whenever you want. I would highly recommend, especially for the price. If you like ARPGs like the Diablos, Torchlights and Grim Dawns, you will get your money's worth.

Starting on max difficulty is really hard, but after level 40 it feels more like easy mode. It would be great to balance this a bit.

Great ARPG, very much like Diablo III, except with 2D pixel graphics.
However, Chronicon solves one of the core issues I had with Diablo II in that when you got unique weapons and armor with say a mage character, you couldn't share that properly with a warrior character as the base stats would be tuned to Intelligence instead of Strength. What Chronicon does in stead is just do away with Intelligence, Strength and the rest and instead just have core damage, and from there you can enhance with gear or skills one of various elements. Thus, all weapons you get from any character can be used by all characters and saves a lot of otherwise duplicate items and limited storage space.
Overall, this was a fun, fast paced game with a lot of enemies, explosions, lights, sounds, screen shaking and all the fun and chaos that comes with it. The deeper you go, and the more you are forced to rely on tuning your gear to get further, the more the core game damage and damage mitigation mechanics make sense. Like Diablo III, the end game almost forces you to build off a particular set of gears strengths. You will be changing and rerolling your gear over and over, along with skill points to get to the end game.
DLC is great too and I highly recommend you get both!

Wot I liked
- Many classes, many skill trees many combinations of your abilities;
- Gearfest with many unique items to augent your build;
- Many ways for loot improvement: enchanting, transmuting , socketing, runes, etc.;
- Perfect loot grinder - kill, loot, level up, sell trash, upgrade gear, repeat;
- Endgame: either short runs with bosses or randomised zones or endless mode. Kill, loot, upgrade;
- You can change difficulties on the fly.
Wot I disliked
- It's too 2d;
- GUI positioning. Buffs are small (regardless of the UI scale) and are difficult to track;
- The game's combat is high speed and is centered around buffs and cds, so you mostly look at the corner of the screen to use the abilities when they are off cd;
- Stupid minimap that you have to resize 5 times to use;
- Combat is not really controllable. You just click mobs to death;
- Combat gets really repetetive. You can choose diffrent abilities but they mostly feel the same.
To sum it all up, it's a fun little action heavy ARPG looter grindfest. I wish the combat was a bit more appealing, slower and animations were not so 2D.

A fun ARPG with lots of different builds to create
If you like classic pixel ARPG dungeon crawlers, this is a perfect game. Despite its simplicity, it has a lot of depth in character and build customization, skills and combos, and a solid item and crafting system. Very cool game. 8/10

Отличная игра, просто потрясающая за свою цену!
минусы есть, их немного, но не сказать не могу:
1) в начале игры отсутствует импакт как таковой, противники здесь не подают виду когда получают урон, так что иногда ты вообще не уверен проходит по ним атака или нет. Но так именно в начале игры, дальше, когда один твой скилл взрывает целую группу противников - экран трясётся, куча эффектов, импакт хороший, проблема исключительно в первые полчаса.
2) мне лично не нравится местная система лечащих банок и свитков с доп заклинаниями, дело в том что они занимают слоты в инвентаре. Проблемы бы не было стакайся они по 99 или вроде того, но нет, они там тупо мешаются. Это опять же реально небольшой минус, к этому быстро привыкаешь, но сама по себе проблема существует.
3) отсутствует гибкий лутфильтр, есть база которая просто отсекает все ненужные цвета, но проблема в том, что спустя два часа вы оставляете только фиолетовый и выше, но даже фиолета сыпется выше крыши и большая его часть - хорошие, но абсолютно ненужные для вашего конкретного билда предметы и их нужно отсеивать вручную.
Отдельно плюсы перечислять не буду, т.к. по сути вся игра один большой плюс. Выполнена она "дёшево и сердито", но ролевая система компенсирует всё. Сама игра очень похожа по ощущениям на Grim Dawn. Здесь у нас 4 персонажа, у каждого персонажа есть 4 странички навыков, каждая страничка навыков содержит навыки на несколько "тем", например страничка "месть" у рыцаря вся посвещена физическому урону, вот только там есть скиллы на блок, шипы (возврат урона), на отражение, саммоны и тд, а ветка "гнев" посвещена электрическому урону, там скиллы опять же на атаки молнией, а также скорость атаки, критический урон и тд. В ветке гнева нет навыков на шипы как в ветке мести, зато есть пассивка которая делает весь урон от шипов электрическим, т.е. У нас уже есть варианты играть от одной механики (шипы) разными билдами в плане стихии урона и тд. И вот такого разнообразия здесь много. У каждого из 4 персонажей по 4 страницы умений, каждая страница содержит умений максимум на 80-90 очков, максимальный уровень персонажа 100 - соответственно есть 100 очков. Чтобы взять на странице навыков "ульту" нужно потратить на страницу в целом 35 очков, таким образом у вас в среднем на билд будет задействовано 2 с половиной страницы из 4, учитывая что сами страницы обладают разнообразным выбором навыков - возможностей для билдостроения тут просто тьма.
В отличие от Grim Dawn тут разрешается респекаться бесплатно и сколько угодно раз, так что можно менять билд от и до каждые 10 минут без необходимости качаться с нуля - очень удобно.
Лута много, лут хороший, даёт дополнительные абилки, проки и прочий вкусный стаф, тут всё как надо. Отдельно хочу похвалить местный крафт. Я жаловался что среди кучи фиолетовых шмоток тяжело вручную подобрать что-то реально необходимое. Это отчасти решается именно крафтом. У всех предметов есть базовые неизменные статы урона, хп и маны. все остальные статы дополнительные и их можно перековывать как угодно пока хватает ресурсов, так что лично я собираю всё на продажу и если чувствую что какая-то часть шмота отстаёт - просто крафчу с нуля. Единственное это достаточно дорого если не продавать собранный лут, а использовать только выпадающие с мобов деньги.
В общем как-то так и получается, игра чисто про билдостроительный геймплей в вакууме. Кому нравится подобное - очень рекомендую к покупке.

This game is so good. It is so fun and fast paced. Even with D4 being in a good state, I have been finding myself wanting to play this.
This is a really fantastic ARPG with a very good endgame that you could play for hundreds of hours, with tons of progression systems, multiple options for endgame activities, including a mapping system like POE, and good replayability. I think the endgame in this game is better than every ARPG on the market right now except POE1 and Torchlight Infinite. The campaign is ok too, not bad at all.
It's really an excellent ARPG in the vein of the fast paced, screen-exploding gameplay ARPGs like Path of Exile 1 and Torchlight Infinite. I am very surprised that it's not better known. Highly recommended, you could easily play this for weeks and not get bored.

一言でいえばカジュアルなハクスラ
その「カジュアルさ」が良い点でもあり悪い点でもある
このゲームではほとんどの装備強化がクラフトでできるため、手軽に、確実に強くなることが出来る
エンドゲームに入って十数時間で最終装備に到達することが出来るだろう
逆に、最上級の装備をそろえてビルドが煮詰まってくると、装備更新というのが無くなっていって上位のダンジョンを周回する目的が薄れてきてしまう
悪く言えば底が浅いということになるのだが、このゲームはそこがちょうどいい
一つのキャラで何十時間溶かすというタイプのハクスラではないのだ
このゲームはむしろ色々なビルドを気楽に遊ぶことをすすめてくれている
一度でもactをクリアすれば以降のキャラですぐにエンドゲームに入ることが出来る（スキンのアンロックにはactクリアが必要）し、スキルポイントを無料でいくらでも振りなおすことが出来る
一つのクラスに四種類のスキルツリー（＋無限に伸びるマスタリーツリー）、セット装備、クラスごとに20のルーン（＋全クラス共通のルーンが20）などが豊富に用意されていて何度も別のキャラでやり直したくなる
良い点:
・自動キャストや複数のスキルを一つのボタンに割り当てられるのでワンボタンで無心になって敵を殲滅できる
気になった点:
・クラフトが強いのでトレハンの楽しみが薄い
・防御メカニクスの多様性が乏しく、どのクラスも最終装備の構成が似通ってしまう
高難度に挑戦しようとするとなおさら特定の装備が必須になってくる
Tips:
・Lesser Runeのドロップは全クラス共通の汎用とクラス固有のルーンのうち、入手個数が最低のルーンがある方が優先される
周回すれば必ず欲しいルーンが手に入るのはそれこそカジュアルでいいのだが、ドロップ数はアカウント全体での通算になるので複数のクラスでエンドゲームをやると汎用ルーンの入手個数が最大になってしまいやがて手に入らなくなってしまう
私はこの仕様を知らないで汎用ルーンをクラフトでばんばん消費してしまい、後から欲しくなった汎用ルーンを手に入れるためにクラス固有のルーンの最低入手個数が汎用ルーンのそれを上回るまでダンジョンを何十回も周回する羽目になった
・コントローラーをつないで、ローカルマルチプレイで育成したい方を1つ目のキャラに、育成済みの方を二つ目のキャラにして高難易度のダンジョンを数回こなすだけで1つ目に選んだキャラを速攻で100レベルにできます
ふと虚無感に襲われてしまうのはこういうハクスラゲーの逃れられない運命なのだろう
その時が来たら止め時だ
そうしてまた何度も戻ってくることになるのだ

良くも悪くも古いハクスラで、序盤から同じ技をひたすら擦ってやることが変わり映えしない。最大で6枠のスキルなのでゲームに幅もなく、あとはたらたら装備を更新するだけになり変化にも乏しい。
ローグライトのように変化やテンポがいいわけでもなく、プレイ感の変化はものすごく緩やか。
変化のない同じことをひたすら擦れる人には神ゲーだが、そうでない人にとっては虚無ゲーである。
私にはただ合わなかったという話。ハクスラというジャンル自体が万人向けではないという意を込めての評価。

This looks really really fun. Really easy to respec. wasd movement. Interesting characters and skills. Tbh I'd rather play this than Diablo 4, Poe 1,2 or Last Epoch.
Really fun and addicting ARPG - got it on a pretty deep discount and glad I did. If you are looking for something akin to drugs I recommend checking it out.

Terrible, the worst thing is the gameplay. There's an annoying delay between attacking and moving that makes the game incredibly frustrating, and then there's the very slow kill time. The fact that the game isn't free makes the situation absolutely worse because comparing it to Path of Exile 1 makes it impossible to understand why you're playing Chronicon. However, even comparing it to pixelated ARPGs that aren't free doesn't help, like The Slormancer where the combat is snappy, there are different modes and plenty of gear and build crafting with a more active community, the UI is better, and the leveling is better. It's hard to like this one.

El tema de las runas, los encantamientos, transmutaciones y el gambling ni los he usado, y lo de cambiar el tinte de la ropa lo hice casi de casualidad.
Hay algunas entradas a otras zonas y cofres que están un poco ocultos por el entorno.
La dificultad normal se me ha hecho demasiado fácil y llegué a un punto sobre el nivel 50 que ya era todo farmear. Los bosses duraban apenas 20 o 30 segundos. Los dos primeros mundos los hice sin mejoras ni maestrías. De ahí que la dificultad normal se me haya hecho tan fácil como dije antes.
La música ha pasado por mi un poco sin pena ni gloria. Acompaña, pero no me sumerge en el juego.
El buildeo es bastante libre y no me sentí encorsetado a hacerme X en ningún momento. Aún así en el penúltimo mundo ya decidí una build y pude hacerla con algo de trabajo, ya que el loot es aleatorio (especialmente en las estadísticas).
En general un juego que me ha mantenido delante de la pantalla farmeando horas y horas sin sentirlo tedioso. El diseño de los personajes y los bosses me ha gustado en general.
Lo recomiendo.
It is a pretty good single player ARPG with endless an endless endgame. Gameplaywise compareable to D3 i guess.
The single player aspect enables tons of quality of life features, which are not included to that degree in competing games. This includes auto cast, auto loot with lootfilter, saveing builds and free respecs.
The dev is really nice and open to constructive feedback on the games discord.

wer spiele wie diablo mag ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben man muss die grafik mögen aber die stört hier für mich null man kann viele coole builds spielen 5 klassen stehen zur auswahl (4) 5 durch dlc aber dieses game hat mich gefesselt. Es lohnt sich aufjedenfall mal das zuspielen

非常に気軽な気持ちで遊ぶことのできる名作ハクスラです。
昨今のハクスラトレハンゲーにあるようなフィルター機能やスキルツリー保存などの便利な機能は一通り整っており、煩わしさを感じることは少ないと思います。
クリア後のエンドゲームから本格的なトレハンが始まり、ほどよい難易度で装備更新の喜びやキャラのスケーリングを楽しむことができ、複雑なシステムもないのでこの手のジャンルの入門として非常にオススメです！
かと言ってハクスラ熟練者にとっても簡単すぎることはなく、高難易度は確かな手応えを感じられます。

Don't let the graphics fool you, this is a solid and engaging ARPG in the finest way. Tons of viable builds, awesome crafting possibilities and lots of action wait in this game for you. I love ARPGs like Grim Dawn and WH40K Martyr, and this one can stand proudly with them.

There's a lot of depth and customisation on skills/builds/gear you can do in this game (finish act 1 to get the enchanter for more stuff etc) that its a breath of fresh air compared to what the AAAAAAAA studios pretend to put out yearly these days
