好游戏以前玩过steam上有就买一份
Neat little platformer
very nice game, challenging and fun
Great game with nice visuals are very satisfying movement,
the levels are really built for you to exploit your abilities as much as you can and this makes the game very fun
There's some tough puzzles to figure out and a lot of interesting solutions
I would definitely recommend this game to puzzle/platformer fans
I enjoyed it, I remember coming up short on how to make it past some of the final obstacles, but I was having fun up until then.
I own this game on Switch so my playtime on Steam does not accurately reflect how much time I've spent with Charge Kid.
It's really hard to explain why this game is so excellent. I would compare it to The Witness, Super Meat Boy, Elden Ring (I'm not kidding), and Dark Souls (still not kidding).
The brilliance of Elden Ring is in how the game makes you feel while playing it. This game makes you feel a certain way that so few games offer. In the beginning you will feel restricted and daft for not knowing what to do. About level 6 you will realize what is actually going on.
The feeling of restriction wears off once you realize that you actually have TONS of options for overcoming the challenging levels. The game tells you so little (less than The Witness) that every little bit of progress makes you feel super clever, and that's often justified. There's secrets, hidden paths, speeding running opportunities, and so much more.
I cannot say enough good things about the game. But it would be unfair to not mention it is very difficult at first. Once you realize what you can do (and the fact that this is more puzzle game than platformer), a huge number of options open up for you to experiment and progress through until the end.
Super satisfying and super fun.
fantastic platform, really like the music and graphics. suggested to people who love platform games
Thinking man's platformer which is pretty annoying to play!
Recommended if you like puzzle platformers with high level of challenge.
This game is good for the price. I did not personally like the game, but would recommend it if you like precision platformers which focus more (IMO too much) on puzzles
Disclaimer: My scores/reviews are almost always based on having bought the game at close to the "lowest historical price" on steam at time of purchase.
Quick score: 5/5
Note: Excellent game especially for 99c.
17 levels. The first 16 levels are basically tutorials for the final level, but that doesnt mean they are "tutorial difficulty". About 2 hours to finish, additional playtime possible if you want to try and go for all the achievements. At the very least I would recommend you get the 5 secrets and play the bonus level. The speedrun achievements are a bit excessive though lmao
Pretty challenging game overall, very heavy emphasis on PUZZLE platforming, don't expect something as straightforward as Super Meat Boy, think more like the puzzle screens of Celeste. The mechanics are fairly unique and definitely take a minute to get used to.
jogo bom e difícil
Great game was a challenge from the start. As the description says "A challenging puzzle-platformer where each jump is a puzzle!" That's what it was .
Muito bom!
The difficulty ramps up pretty quick here. Having greatly enjoyed Celeste I knew to keep at it and just try to master the controls. With Charge Kid, almost every single level I started it went from "this is ridiculous, just delete it and start up something else in the backlog of Steam games" but then sticking with it a bit more and then figuring out the solution and the itch was crazy strong to see what was in the next level. Definitely recommending this one. Great concept and fantastic mix of platformer and puzzles. A true hidden gem on Steam if you're into those genres. Don't miss out on it. This one is for the masochists out there though, beware. I hate it and love it. But I love it more. But I did hate having to give up on it right at the very end as my patience ran out.
Um ponto de vista muito diferente em um jogo de plataforma, conforme você avença nas fases você nota a genialidade dos desafios, te trazendo aqueles momento de "A ha!" que são uma delicia em jogos de puzzle bons!
I'm not a fan of those kind of platform games where precision is crucial and you almost can do something but couldn't due to execution. On Charge Kid, almost everytime I almost achieve someplace, instead of trying again pressing some button quicker and getting angry, it was just a matter of realizing there was a smarter way of doing that, or many smarter ways.
I love puzzles (and have no quite the same felling for platformers), and I sense that Charge Kid managed to join the puzzle and platform parts greatly, being chalenging without being frustrant.
Challenging puzzles, juicy aesthetics and responsive controls. Can't recommend enough, for this price is a must-buy!
Hope to see more games released by the devs, you got yourself a fan!
Great puzzle platformer with cute, clear art and some cool mechanics. The levels require some thought to beat and just enough skill that you feel satisfied when you execute it well. The only quibble I had was that I was not a fan of how the last level was set up. I probably spent half of my overall playtime at one particular puzzle until I got a hint, but maybe that is just my lack of skill, everything else was just right
Overall a really impressive game with a great price and I am always happy to support open-source stuff
This game reminds me of super meat boy, and why I never got far in it. Very precise aiming / timing is a must in order to progress. I found it very hard, but I am not a typical consumer of these types of games. I bet a lot of people would appreciate the challenge this game offers. I, on the other hand, feel like taking a long break after getting to level 9 (it took me over 20 minutes of banging my head against the wall) :S
I do have an issue with the way mechanics are introduced - I got stuck on level 3, and by pressing buttons at random I stumbled on a key mechanic. I don't think I could progress without it. However, this mechanic is not officially introduced until level 5!
The controls feel nice and responsive. My old game pad worked. All the buttons were correctly assigned from the get go, which is great as it's not always a given.
The art design is simple and clear. Everything seems to fit well together.
The music and sound assets feel like the weakest part of the game. They exist, and aren't terrible.
Overall, I believe this game is a great value offer considering the price.
It is a minimalist and simple game. It can be very challenging but also very rewarding. If you don't have the precision and planning needed to pass the levels, some times you can just pass it by trying enough hahaha
The music is very good and the art is nice and cute. I liked the colors as well. I will finish it yet but I already love it
achei esse game very gudo
If you think that Super Meat Boy isn't challenging your brain, but you like the precision, this game is for you.
The controlls are spot-on and the visuals are very pleasing to the eye if you like that kind of pixel look.
Truly awesome game! The tactics you're meant to discover throughout the levels are pretty intricate and fun, but not hard enough to make you give up. Even though I'm not much of a platform guy, it's definitely my new quarantine pastime. Worth every penny!
Challenging and precise platformer. You need good reaction time, hit and release multiple keys at the same time.
Mechanics are easy to understand but levels are crafted complexly. You have a single jump, a bullet you can shoot, jump charges at levels and bullet dash. The bullet works like a boomerang, it comes back to you if you don't hit a jump charge and if you hit one, you get an extra jump, which you can chain and jump in air multiple times. You can also make the bullet stop and dash to it using a jump charge. Also there is a speedrun mode for the ones who are interested.
