Hello explorers! My name is Professor Tim Edger, and I'm the inventor of the time machine and an avid cat lover! Sadly, I have a problem, and maybe YOU can help me. You see, my beloved cats are missing. While playing in the lab, they've activated my time machine and ZAP, now they are lost in space and time! You have to travel from ancient Egypt, all the way to the streets of late 20. century New York, and even beyond the present - to future Tokyo. Your goal is to find all the cats! Please be careful; these cats are really good at hiding.

This is a cute game, though it's a bit simple for the avid puzzler. Most puzzles were simple, I should say, but there were a handful where I needed to think- which was nice! I will say though, most were far too easy in the regular mode. I can't even imagine the kids mode.

Little game about looking for hidden cats. For some reason, all the cats are orange, in this game.
There are a lot of "find the cats" games on Steam, but this one is actually very high in quality, when compared to most of the others. You go around 3D environments and solve some simple puzzles in order to find all of the cats (which are orange, in case I forgot to mention). The 3D environments are also based on different times (it's in the title) and places, so it has a pretty good variety of levels. They're a bit on the easy side, but sometimes that's all you need for a relaxing time.
Before I forget, I should also mention that the fur of every single one of these cats is coloured in the orange colour. This is very important for a good gamelay experience. Please remember the orange cats.

Es muy cuqui y entretenido, puzzles fáciles pero difíciles de encontrar.
El único problema es que los giros de cámara y los zoom in/out me marean increíblemente así que tengo que jugarlo en sesiones muy cortas. Ojalá esto se pudiera desactivar.

Cats in Time is a charming "hidden cats" puzzler that excels as a shared experience. While it serves as a wonderful bonding tool for a parent and child, the core loop eventually struggles to maintain momentum, leading to a bit of fatigue by the time the final clock is wound.

It has exceptional tactile puzzles. The interaction with the dioramas is satisfyingly "clicky." Perfect for Steam Deck - the tactile puzzles feel right at home on the Deck’s screen.

It is also an incredible entry-point for younger players; played this with my daughter over 1.5 year period and it created lasting memories, becoming a nostalgic milestone in our gaming journey together.

It does, however stagnate mechanically - by the end, the puzzles felt increasingly similar. This lack of variety meant that both me and my daughter were losing steam toward the finish line. This in effect diluted our momentum, and because the game was played over such a long period, the repetitive nature of the puzzles became more apparent, making the final stretch feel like a bit of a crawl. By the end of the game, the puzzles lack new "hooks," leading to a little fatigue.

While the mechanical repetition makes this feel closer to a 3.5/5 by the end, the high nostalgic value for me and the quality of the favorite levels keep it at a solid 4 stars. It is a perfect example of a game being more than the sum of its parts when shared with the right person.

It is a charming hidden-object puzzler that is elevated by its tactile nature - first and foremost. While the gameplay loop is simple, it shines as a collaborative experience, especially when played in handheld mode.

En este juego deberás ir encontrando unos gatitos por cada uno de los escenarios, para hacerlo hay que ir resolviendo puzles.

Si bien es verdad que los puzles no son demasiado complejos y que se trata de un juego más bien fácil para un adulto, está bien para pasar un rato resolviendo acertijos o incluso para jugar con niños. Mis dos hijos de 8 y 5 han jugado y resuelto prácticamente todos los acertijos, para otros han necesitado ayuda de un adulto.

La estética, la sencillez y los gatetes hacen que valga la pena jugarlo si os interesan este tipo de juegos.

The first few levels are okay but once you've done a few it's just not fun, the controls are awful and the perspective isn't great. Can't count the amount of times I've clicked one spot and it's flung the camera through a building to lock onto a puzzle i've already completed. Other than that the art isn't particularly appealing either and a lot of the puzzles aren't puzzles it's just spin this wheel an ungodly amount of time to reveal an item or cat that you already know is there because everything you can interact with is coloured BRIGHT YELLOW/GOLD -- there's no thinking required.

适合新手玩，游戏难度到后面开始有点意思，不过总体来说还是非常简单的。
优点是有一定的游戏体量，适合放松的时候玩几关，不同的关卡不同的场景还是很有意特点的，印象最深刻的是亚特兰蒂斯关卡和东京关卡，寻找隐藏关卡的方式也算有点意思，找拼图碎片是另一个有挑战的玩法，不过和解谜一样，少数有难度，总体上还是过于简单了，是手机上那种流水线小游戏的高级版本吧。
缺点是3D游戏再加上饱和度过高，容易晕，玩着玩着容易没有胃口哈哈。希望色彩上再优化一些，我认为过于明丽的色彩不是玩家的首选，舒适的色彩和风格才是。
碰到过1次bug就是万圣节关卡容易突然获得一把钥匙，但是获取的时机并不是正常的流程。

Is anyone here a fan of cute fat cats? If so, this cute little 3D puzzle game might be right up your alley.

It features a variety of small puzzles that hide those fluffy animals along different time periods from ancient Egypt to futuristic Japan. The presentation is decent enough to not have stutters, while the audio features small meows from the cats as soon as you find them. None of the puzzles were particularly challenging, more in the vein of those you could find in magazine or Facebook posts. Nonetheless, there is a hidden challenge behind some secret collectibles across the levels in case you're eager to go for that. Also, it controls a lot like a mobile game which makes sense considering its recent port.

I'd say this one is specially a recommendation for casuals and those puzzle lovers looking for something relaxing. Sometimes it's good to have one of these in between the brain straining ones.

Cats in Time ended up being one of those games I downloaded thinking it would just be a cute little puzzle, and it actually turned into a pretty relaxing way to unwind. The whole idea is simple. You go through different time periods and find the missing cats hidden around the scene. Each area has its own theme and the puzzles are calm instead of stressful.

What I liked most is that the game never rushes you. You can sit there and pick apart the details in each little world at your own pace. The art style is clean and colorful, and the cats are tucked into places that make you smile when you finally spot them. Some are easy, some take a minute, but nothing ever feels frustrating.

The locations are fun too. You bounce between places like ancient Egypt, old New York, the medieval era, and even futuristic maps. Each one has small interactive moments that keep it interesting without overcomplicating anything.

It is just a simple, cozy puzzle game that is nice to pick up when you want something light. Perfect for a break, perfect if you like hidden object games, and perfect if you just like cats.

This game has some really fun puzzles, although some are super easy because everything is glowing gold and others take a bit more thinking to solve, so there seems to be a decent mix of difficulty on each level.
Also with this game there are a decent mix of types of puzzles.

I love the fiddly spinny puzzles that are common in The Room game series and this game has a good number of these type, but also has a quite a few combination puzzles, which some games seem to only be able to do.

In theory a nice game for beginner escape artists (very easy puzzles in the start at least). But already in room 2 I ran into a bug where the last puzzle is not showing so it is impossible to finish. Overall, really easy to play fun game. Cute graphics and cats.

couple levels have buggy mechanics to a particular puzzle in the game. You can correctly solve the puzzle but the game doesn't recognize it as complete. Upon restarting the level 4 or 5 times the puzzle eventually was solvable.. I found the game fun but the broken mechanic that leads to a puzzle not being completed is really frustrating. (Particularly the puzzle in Tea House where you rearrange the door tiles to form a picture of a cat and Chinese characters on the door. Was able to reproduce the issue 4 times in a row by just restarting the level until it worked).

Steam Deck controls are iffy and frustrating. Postcards are really hard to see on Steam Deck and resolution on it is weird. Puzzles were way too easy, and there were some bugs (I'm looking at you China (the level)). On PC, the controls are much better and the resolution too, but as mentioned, puzzles are really easy and the game has no replay value. Once you finish the game, you finish the game. The achievements are really easy to get as you just play the game. I've 100% it on my first play through and I have no reason to play it again. The cats were all the same with some differences in hats... so... not really cute. They didn't do anything. Make sure you get this game on sale if you absolutely want to get it. I'm going to uninstall now.

A neat little puzzle game where you search for cats in 3D dioramas.
I think the main target audience is kids, it's very easy and straightforward (there is even a "kids mode" or something but I didn't try that out, can't tell you what it does) but it's still fun for adults who like to play really cute and relaxing games.

C'est un jeu adorable d'énigmes et d'objets cachés (les objets, en l'occurrence, sont d'adorables petits chats espiègles). Le seul point négatif que je trouve au jeu est son absence de reset total du jeu afin de pouvoir y rejouer quand on le souhaite (bien que l'on puisse reset individuellement les niveaux, j'aurais aimé une feature proposant de reset tout le jeu afin de le refaire dans son intégralité). Bref, j'ai adoré ce jeu et j'aimerais en trouver plus comme ça.

While playing, this almost reminded me of interacting with a fidget toy.

This game starts off pretty easy but gradually increases difficulty, but ultimately didn't make me frustrated at all when playing and never made me necessarily "guess" a solution, which is my frustration with a lot of puzzle games.

Compared to some other puzzle games, the difficulty is pretty straight forward when you catch onto the patterns, but pretty satisfying to play, especially when you get to the more "hidden" aspects of the game.

Overall, this is a thoroughly satisfying, cutesy, after-work-friendly experience with a relaxing, low-pressure design.
