Storyline

Do you love watching full car restorations come to life with Larry Kosilla from AMMO NYC? Now, you can experience it for yourself. Car Detailing Simulator lets you uncover lost pieces of automotive history in an abandoned warehouse full of forgotten antique cars, then bring them back to your garage and restore them to their former glory! Polish the paint, shampoo the interior, find lost treasures and post the freshly restored car for sale online. With the profit, build out your own custom detailing shop, buy new tools, products and equipment to upgrade your detailing studio. Head back to the barn to uncover the next lost super car and continue honing your skills and building your detailing business.

The game in it self is fun, like other sims, but one drawback is that it takes a long time to progress, not because of the progression system itself, but because of the clunkiness, wich at first is not a problem, but it stacks up overtime and the game becomes frustrating. There is also a lot of tiny bugs that aren`t a problem, but it still affects the experience. One glitch that I`ve encountered a bunch of times is the fact that when cleaning seats and carpets, the car is supposed to desapear, but for some reason I was cleaning blind, affected by the car "hitbox". So yeah, the game is fun, but I won`t complete it, as it becomes frustrating later on.

A nice game to relax with.

Clean cars. Get bigger garages. More tools, to clean the cars more thoroughly. Unlock more cars. And repeat.

It gets repetitive really fast, but that's a part of its charm. It gives me the dopamine juices. And helps me relax.

Oh, and it works on the Steam Deck beautifully!
...With a couple of got'chas (That I know of so far):
- In-game videos, like those in tutorial prompts, outright just do not work
- Reapplying paste on the polishing brush needs to be done using the touchscreen, it doesn't work using any of the gamepad controls.
